Those were the only two I found, it takes time to find 1v1 fights in BIG maps and my add doesn’t help :p

Well I went out and did it, and killed a mesmar and a thief in EBay BL, was pretty interesting.

Found a guard I would of liked to 1v1 but he got a thief to help him. Pretty annoying, I wanted to do 1v1 but mostly everyone is running with a partner nowadays.

I was emotionally upset when scarlet mentioned she was responsible for the molten alliance.

I pretty sure a lot of veteran players have given up doing them, unless they directly need more dragonite but I notice that these bosses aren’t attracting the required minimum number of people needed for them anymore, unless to guest to something like Blackgate.

Oh well, I guess it’s the kind of the thing that happens overtime when nothing new is added to the game, you can only kill something the same time, for the past 1.5 years, to a point.

Is it me or does it seem really fair for a ranger pet to infinity heal even when you interrupt or kill it, it will always go back and heal. Needs a revamp to match-up with everyone else’s downstate limitation.

I think when they added the account bound magic find, they lowered the possibility factor of its usage.

It used to be that every 100% increased your looting odds by 1/10… They probably doubled that to give an overall illusion that the more magic find looks helpful but really is just providing you the same rolls pre-update.

I also find on average I’ll find one exotic in the first hour daily and that’ll be it, no matter how much longer I play.

Increase your damage by firing dmg bolts from your armpit. Hopefully it doesn’t get nerfed soon.

Last I checked, the price of a gem has not changed.

pre-pav 800 gems was 25g. Now its 67g. Its just not justifiable now to keep charging 800 gems for minor things. Even a blc key is now 10g.

I only like Ranger’s when they’re using the proper things.

Really? You kick a RANGER because he uses ranged weapons? It’s like saying i’ll kick a thief if he uses daggers.

Rangers aren’t people who use range weapons, they are watchers of the wild in the open range. Like this guy

Its already been tested they have the lowest dps of all 8 classes, and typically most them still use bows when melee weapons are stronger

Though I do like the water fields and bonus dmg spirits, its counter intuitive to bring one if you want fast clears.

I’ll clarify that it is harder to zerg on my server now, due to some of the guilds that were helping us here beforehand had transferred off to BG pre-season. Plus generally zerging happens around primetime, whereas solo-roaming during oceanic, there’s almost no one on.

So this was interesting last night… apparently if you time the JI perfectly as an enemy goes through a keep/tower door, you will port inside.

I guess its similar to Skarner + Return + Ult move in LoL

I just wanted to make this thread to give my views on the things I encountered last night when I was solo-roaming on my Guardian with my birthday booster, 12hrs straight as to not waste the buff

1. It is never worth it to fight people. As soon as you kill someone, they become a future problem for you. They aren’t worth much wxp and waste a lot of time. I notice certain people I’ve killed, start stalking me and trying to counter my routes. That, in my opinion, is pretty sad when I see someone wasting their time to do so, I gained 3 ranks, while you’ve been sitting in that camp… makes sense.

2. It is so much nicer to be mid-lower tier than the top wvw servers, you don’t have to worry about not having the 25% wxp outmanned buff. I never go into EB when solo-roaming.

3. I try to do my routes during downtime, to minimize the counter plays. Certain players will start defending their camps near 4mins to ppt, so its your move to take camps out of their way or trick them to go to a different camp.

4. Try your hardest to not be scouted, it sucks when people see you heading somewhere, because then they call their friends and you gotta do the whole fighting thing. You’re better off turning around or cutting across the map, then dealing with them, some people have issues.

5. I can clear camps in 15 seconds flat, and that’s on purpose. The quicker the camps get cleared, the sooner the bar is filling up before swords show them where you are. I also use traveler runes so I don’t need to carry retreat/save yourselves. What really throws me is if a dolyak spawns mid-capture, really slows you down and draws to much attention. I’ve lost camps I could of captured easily if it wasn’t for those yaks.

6. Be careful not to get frustrated, always keep a calm mind, otherwise you start making mistakes, getting killed, and getting counter-routed when you keep pushing for something. Don’t waste time, always be on the move, get-in, cap, get-out immediately.

Just make fire fields have the HIGHEST priority

Would definitely help hammer guards, since swing #3 ruins the purpose of using it for blasting.

I used to love staff when I was a AH guard. I dropped it after going dps.

Staff is only really good for WvW zerg tagging for all the loot bags.

My guardian solo-roam builds gets me killed by engis/warriors, its unavoidable and I will never win those fights unless the people controlling those classes are really bad.

Most of the time its easier to take certain paths so enemies can’t predict your movement. I miss my executioner costume charge, I got alot of roaming wxp with the increased speed from that.

In before its more LS updates beatable on day one, 13 days of a wasteland, less rewards, and many minor content that doesn’t add more to the full game.

Turn off the GW2 Music when streaming/recording. The bots are mostly aiming at the music.

I think people are confused as to why people use youtube for their videos. You can monetize your videos now more easily. Most sites dont offer to pay you for your video uploads.

Except rangers have the lowest dps of all classes atm. Thats why no one likes them in PvE.

35 laurels per stat set.

1. GS + sword/focus
2. No spirit weapons, just retreat, judge intervention, fill
3. you can but it’ll be slower leveling
4. retail doesnt work that well lower level. Get 15 in radiance first, then 5 in virtues, then 10 in zeal, then rest in valor
5. dont run defender flame, dont run any condition builds ever
6. invul is not a block

Yeah this was designed for medi builds, so it needs to compensate 2k heal

They already said that the armour won’t have agony slots at launch, maybe sometime next year it’ll be adjusted.

There also needs to be a way to stop low AR people from joining higher fotm
