They are really annoying and since they are no longer part of the story couldnt we assume that they have broken down or are there still flame and frost people maintaining them?

Hi all, our small guild of 3 people has unlocked guild missions but not enough people to do them.

If you are on the Gate of Madness server and are looking for a relaxed guild to join then we might be right for you.

This guild was created by Myself and two close workmates. We live and work in Australia so our play times are mostly late nights during the week and sporadic/nights on the weekends.

We have unlocked most tiers (Rank 6) of the guild chains & Guild Mission (bounty) but cannot clear the content as 3 members makes it quite difficult.

It is not a requirement that you rep us, but we will be offering the 24/72 hour boosts to EXP/Magic Find/Karma over the weekends.

If we manage to scrounge up enough members to win a few medals we would like to do the guild missions, rush etc.

BTW> You don’t need to be in Australia to join, we will take anyone that is interested.

Why does this now cost Guild Tokens. Bring back the zero cost transport.
Our guild is very small and we cannot break into the challenges, even though we can unlock them with Gold.

How did you get this breakdown? I couldn’t click on their names or anything. Even after signing into the site.

Yeah there are icons but they don’t explain much. You see the guild puzzles shows an Orange icon but the unlock you need is actually Red. What they need is instead of a useless picture a clear mouseover text stating “Requires Guilt Hunt” unlocked.

That is beside the point they stonewalled us since there is no way we could complete a guild hunt.

It should be independent of each other.

I finally unlocked rank 6 for our TINY guild of 3 friends.
I poured every cent we had to buy reputation thinking we would be able to access the content even if the event failed we would have some fun.

Infrastucture Rank 6 achieved and I cannot create a Puzzle mission. WTH?!
Its locked apparently because I need to unlock Guild Rush, Guild Trek and Guild Hunts first.

WHY!!! WHY!! ANET seriously jipped us with this one.

The SAFEST alternative is to create a guild for a few silver, buy the bank upgrade for a gold or so then use it to pass gold to whoever you need, or if you have one already even better.

But yeah I use the mail system like a personal bank and never been banned yet. I send items to my friend and he returns them. An extra 50 slots that can be accessed anywhere by all characters

I would like to point out that if anything I have obtained more ectos since this patch then ever before.. More proof that RNG is RNG.

I obtained 121 ectos from 75 BLK and rares 72-80.
A ratio of 1.61 ecots to salvage kit.

Needless to say I am stoked

This has happened to a lot of us. The frozen maw seems to ignore the rule of levels, in that it can give any type. I have gained all three from levels 20+ whereas in the first three fractals you will only ever get shards on 20+

I wonder how people find these parties? Ive done over 30 LFG’s and never got booted once, or for that matter ever seen them boot anyone else.

Yes we lose ~40% exp per daily. But you know what do a few more events and you will make up for it.

If Dwayna was bested and it was on last boss I would easily pay 15g to get this done. Then they would nerf the fight and I would regret it lol.

This is all that stands between me and Dungeon Master. Im creating a zerk warrior for it.. A couple of times we got to 5% hp but then lost because she stealthed back up

I’m assuming they will fix the map when they complete the repairs to lions arch. at the moment the lionsguard have better things to do like complete the upgrades to the lighthouse.. They have finished repairing the fountain tho

Yes as Unknown said you need to complete your story

And by complete I mean 100% complete (so you receive the pact token) then the gate will open for you when you talk to the guards.

It may open at other parts of the story but i do not know when.

There are some versions which are unsalvagable. Usually they are crafted via the non discovery recipe.

For example there is:

Voyagers Robes (drop item) ~ Can be salvaged
Voyager’s Robes (craft item) ~~ Cannot be salvaged
Clrerics Robes (drop item) ~ Can be salvaged
Cleric’s Robes (craft item) ~~ Cannot be salvaged

I’ve fallen prey to this many times and bought the wrong item to salvage.

Just need to pay close attention to the names and make sure they are not apostrophies.

Visit all areas and accept the chests if it pops up. it also will load with the star icon. if you don’t accept the rewards you wont get 100%

Also the one in bloodtide requires you to go to the portal inside not just enter it.

As mentioned before this is primarily to beat the DPS boss Dwayna.. Would you suggest Axe or GS? ive seen some of the traits for axe look really nice, but there are similar ones for Greatsword too..

I just need some help to make the build. I don’t want to waste all my money on a build that doesn’t work.

I did AC path 2 last night and it was a breeze, we only ever had 5 or so mobs at each cannon phase and they never moved from thier start positions much since we intercepted them, that way the NPC always finished repairs and joined us in killing them before moving to the next cannon.

AC1 however was another story.. We could not defend the NPC at the first event for love nor money. They overran us or pinned us down with infinite knockdowns that last 4 seconds each.. you could not respond and were completely defeated before you knew what was happening.

I have a level 80 warrior and I would like to create a pure dps glass cannon build.
Can you please suggest to me what traits and abilities are a must/very strong.

The idea for my build is simply to DPS check above Dwayna in Path 4 Arah.

I’ve heard the best stats to get is Power/Perception/Crit Dmg, what gear runes could maximise this?

What traits should i use and skills on my bar?

The sparks follow you better sure but she still regens far too much hp, and we spent over 10 seconds running around the statue waiting for it to slot in. Why don’t you make it a range thing that within 3 meters it counts.. not needing it in a specific tiny hole. which mostly doesn’t show up.

We were in dungeon on last boss and one of the people went to leave. we thought np we will replace them. They leave and BAM were all outside.

We need a warning for people leaving a party to say that they are the leader and that everyone will be booted if you leave.

Seriously stupid. I know it was designed to stop people from kicking but this just wasted 3 hours of our time

Still doesn’t help. I want my friend to be able to get some Expansion slots or maybe the Deluxe upgrade. I paid the money why can’t I send the gems.

The problem is I purchased gems with $cash$ and want to gift the remaining ones away.
I do not want to convert the gems to gold and then have him convert them back to gems.

This will wipe 50% of the value. There is conversion costs both ways.

Its like saying okay you paid $50 for gems, but if you want to give them to your friend he will only get $25 worth.

You can see other players chests, that is why you cannot loot them.
They certainly take up much less draw time and processor than the complete enemy.

Actually you can easily have bought one of these today since there are possible of 3 laurels

Although it’s not a huge setback they definitely do not give 9-15% they still only give 4% per tier (segment)

I do not mind the new layout in that it is easier to know the true goal. But having it a mystery is not bad as well. You could always go on previous daily/months to know how many you needed to do. Not everything needs to be transparent. They could still implement Tiers with a % completion.

As suggested if they were to keep the experience in line they could bring the new tiers up to 10% each.

Exp rewards are scaled to your level. So you would see a little or a lot depending on your level.

The proof is in the pudding.

There were 13 or 14 tiers in the original daily.
13×4% = 52% of your level.

Now there are only 5
5×4% = 20% of your level.

Previously I could level an alt character to 80 in 2 months of daily events only.
Using this new system it would take me 4-5 months.

Yes it’s only exp but that equates to time and skill points you can use.

I’m imagining they nerfed the drop rate because I’ve heard people were getting 150+ bags an hour. This can only mean a good thing in keeping T6 material prices stable.

Anyone know of other changes this meant?

I have (infused rings) on 5 of my alts.. So what if they are level 1? they have 30AR they can handle the higher levels.. You can’t judge someone purely based on thier level of fractal since it isnt account bound and the rings are.

Due to the removal of the Tiers the daily now only offers a fraction of the exp reward it did previously.

I could count on it giving me at least a level before. Now it only gives ~30-50% of a level.

Did AANET reset the monthly or retroactively give laurels to those who already completed it? I don’t want to miss out on 10+ just because I already finished it

Put the money into the bank and you cant sell higher than you wanted since you don’t have the listing fee. But still you must have a lot of spare cash lying around tho.

I have some leftover gems from when I purchased my extra character slots.
Is it possible for me to gift these to a friend as I have no more use for them.

I would prefer to avoid the GEM>GOLD>GEM conversion as this would mean we lose %50 of the value and defeat the whole purpose (taxes x2)

1600 gems > 16g > 800 gems.

I guess that’s a relief but they did say it would be in the January 28th update. That would leave 3 days to get the rest of the monthly for them if they did allow it.
