Guild Wars 2

Please stop farming and get into WvW. We been losing for few weeks now simply because everyone farms and only small group of people actually bothers to go into WvW.

It came to the point where the guilds that run WvW on this server thinking to transfer off simply because there is such small interest/participation in WvW on our server and we can’t even hold what we claimed (even our own keeps).

Another issue is that we have almost no defense on night times, i was thinking of maybe making a small defense group (be they australians, europeans, ppl with insomnia etc.) for night times so we don’t lose everything we have claimed during the day. P.S. this post is not made to cussing out the server (inb4 mods delete the post), i play on this server myself. This post is made to motivate players on our server to do wvw :/

they should remove commander tag for 100g and add commander for this points, problem with noobs running with commander tag around solved

i am more concered that defnitely on first days/weeks of patch people with legendaries will have quite advantage in wvw :/

well, i play on low popuplated server, we don’t have the numbers to play vs full servers, especially ones that are like rank 4 etc.

last week that is what happend, we faced 2 high populated servers + server was widely abusing hacks on top of it so it ended up like 5 of us defending with 70 ppl zergs

i know for fact, i don’t want to face same server again ever; i like how it changes every week, forces people actually come to wvw instead of sitting for 3 months and like w/e we have time

i will tell you why names are not shown: so people don’t go on other servers and talk crap to each other; the community in this game is great, let’s not ruin it

I think it could be a bit darker but tbh if you play on with highest grafic options the night is quite…visible (how ironic).

P.S. i see my glowing slyvari pretty well (walking night time alarm)

it is already enough that they have to waddle after you while being chilled…. how more do you need -_-

How about removing initiative and giving the thief a cooldown on their skills just like everyone else?

completely changing class mechanics won’t happen; if they changed it to CDs thieves would be too binary and boring/slow to play

First of, i really enjoy GW2, the game indeed needs polishing here and there but it is great. I played quite few MMos in the past and i love this game.

Few suggestions:

1. dungeon finder: from what i read it is under way which is nice

2. more clear and structured result board after pvp match: as new player i was really confused by all numbers and couldn’t even tell who got how many kills, who died how many times, got how many capturing points etc; maybe take LoL or wow as an example?

3. it is hard to find people to do story modes or low lv fractals, i don’t think dungeon finder alone would fix the issue.

Suggestion: maybe add better reward for repeating story mode or low lv fractals. Of course exploration mode and high lv fractals should give high loot but low lv ones and story mode could give alternative rewards like extra mats for legendary etc.

4. chats: global chats would be nice, so far we have map chat but it works only on map. Where they could be usefull? WvW global chat so you could communicate with players on different bordelands for example.

5. speaking of WvW, a lot of players abuse hacks to gain advantage by capturing or defending bases, since issue seems to be there of rquite some time now it would be really nice if we had option to be able to report player for “hacking”, not just spam or scam :/

6. high lv mats have no vallue issue: mithril ore, thick leather etc. have almost no value and end up being vendor junk a lot of the time. I know you can use them in mystic forge to get mats for legendary but it often requires additional expensive mats.

Suggestion: allow to salvage high lv mats to obtain low lv ones or add more options for those materials for mystic forge?

7. I love events but when WP i freed is always contested it makes me wonder why i even bothered. It would be really nice if once you completed the event and freed WP it stays uncontested for the player despite the event.

8. Crafting: not every piece goes into collectables. Things like mithril hook, linen cloth padding etc stay in character bags and take too many slot. WTB slots for those :/

9. Pets: those riesen priests of balthazar are sitting in my bags and have a party. I don’t need so many though but can’t really sell them nor use them for anything (can have only 1 pet doh). Would be nice if we could sell extra pets or throw them into forge for chance to get new pet.

10. Bags: sorting option (armor cosumables junk etc.) for bags would be nice. TP kind of have something similar.

11. Cogs: i think i had something like 2k cogs at some point and since i am not really into new skins they just sat there and took space or ended up by vendor. If event adds new currency, it would be nice if we could buy mats or food or something else but skins with it.

Well, one of my posts got deleted because i complained about the fact that certain server abuses hacks in wvw and asked to add an option to report players for hacking.

The forum mod told me to use the report tool in game if i found players taking inapproriate actions in game. I have a feeling he didn’t even read what i wrote:

THERE IS NO OPTION IN GAME TO REPORT PLAYER FOR HACKING

Please, if you can’t fix those hacks in wvw at least let us report players for abusing them and stop banning people for complaining about hacks. That is just ridicilous.

i kind of can relate to OP, playing on mid populated server atm, we are fighting yak’s bend and SoS while our server is somewhere in 15th rank.

We just don’t even have the sheer numbers to defend own bases or world, usually it looks like this: 5 players try to defend vs 50+ SoS and 50+ yaks from other side. It also seems that players from SoS server love to abuse zoom hack, but it is different story.

So at the end of the day, we sit at 0 and can’t even get our towers/camps back simply because when we try we just get overrun by 50+ ppl zerg from SoS again.

-how are you getting two-shotted? the video with people running naked didn’t get two shotted
-untraited smokescreen has 30s cd, duration is 7s so 23% uptime, traited, 25s cd, 28% uptime. 5 thieves, ranger, mesmer, guardian, ele can chain their reflects together and get 100% uptime. engi also has WoR/smokescreen but long cd.
-you shouldn’t be getting hit from either side if you are standing inside the black strip at the base of the smoke screen.

- i am not quite sure tbh, i think it would be silver spiders or turrets; the classes in naked edition were, oh surprise, mesmer and guardian

- that is clear

- the silver spiders still hit through

@all: i am not only one who is getting roflstomped by the spider swarm, my entire group just melts within few sec

Having same issue as everyone, except for few things:

1. when we go into the room, it is already filled with 100 spiders (and turrets, the hell?) from all sides of the boss so reflect tactics is rather….tricky
2. NPC just instantly emo agroes them and makes it worse
3. i saw a bunch of posts about how to do it, but as guardian; but what if you are not one?

i play thief, by the time we get in melee range to a tree i am dead already; if we stealth, we die anyway, because of the spiders swarming us and turrets 2 shotting everyone as well

I tried this boss with different groups, but none seems to work; so how do you do this as thief and not guardian? Smoke screen is very long CD and works only if spiders are on one side only.

If anyone have any tipps or guides for this boss for thief, would be appreciated

P.S. killing spiders isn’t an option, by the time you killed one portion, another already respawned
