today lag is rather silly… having skill lag and zerg is nowhere around even….

because they decided to make everyone reroll warrior

only way i could kill stun warrior was going dodgy troll thief spec with like 6 dodges + 2 stun breakers…. i can’t imagine how other classes handle warriors though

suddenly they wanna fight 1v1, what?? i thought wvw was about team fight not 1v1; i wonder if ppl realize that some team builds don’t work so well in 1v1 situation (cough staff guards for example); want to brag about 1v1? go do some spvp

as for fighting FS during prime time, we can’t even if we wanted to simply because our actual main group would never fit in one map during prime (back on IOJ we used to be able to queue entire BL by ourself), in fact we probably would sit in queue untill night time (which is usually the case atm when we tried to wvw earlier)

stop crying, sieg up and deal with it like every NA server did when they faced SoS (in case you don’t know, SoS is really weak during NA prime time but has absurd coverage during night time due to being pure oceanic)

Yea for NA the insane queues are exclusive to T1.
Not sure what the situation is in EU.

surprisinly even mid servers have queue times, but they are maybe 7 min long and only during prime time..i suspect archiv hunters; probably won’t be as bad after week or so

as for ppl claiming that they are originally from t1 servers yada yada, guess what? that very original servers of yours were paying guilds to transfer to t1 servers lol

as for moblity, yes and no, thieves still would have to sacrifice a lot of initiative or long CD to port somewhere..but if you gonna bring z axis for certan maps, ok, i agree

sb has good aoe dmg and is good for kiting, i use it together with d/d and doing fine

i run toughness/condi thief in wvw, doing fine, even vs wars

If dungeons had a que that was completely random and allowed uplevels and people with no dungeon achievements jump the line and take spots from dungeon masters that had been waiting an hour plus what would the reactions be then? They rely entirely on locking down an opponent. Someone who can avoid or counter the CC can easily deal with a warrior. Stability, especially 1v1, is almost a hard counter for warriors. Warriors have no means of boon stripping other than weapon sigils, most of their burst comes from Unsuspecting Foe, and a lot of their survivability comes from never having to play defensive due to the pressure from CCs.

Blind is also extremely effective versus hammer warriors, and due to the mechanics of Healing Signet poison is a good soft counter. They also can’t recover from burst at all, again due to Healing Signet.

It’s also just 100% wrong that warriors have the best mobility in the game. Thieves without question take that title.

I do agree that they as a whole are incredibly strong, not one individual thing, but they do have trade offs and counters.

as for people saying that we got no resistance, i would love to ask what’s up with those 75+ FSP zergs we wiped few times in EB yesterday? i am guessing that was just your roaming group, right?

i realize how silly it is that NA prime time = dead hours for EU, but it is not like we are not getting any fights

considering how you guys wanted to pay for our xfer to your server, it is funny how now you cry about some server having night coverage

i agree, we do make up for points lost during EU prime time but it is not like we are not doing any favor to FR, maybe they will learn something about defending and fighting more populated servers; i know being on EU servers was good experience for me for far, i learned new things and FR ppl were pretty friendly to us <3

2. Is this the first time you have ever captured a Garri or keep? If not it no longer seems such a great achievement since we turned them all to paper, for you. ( sorry I had to ask that, as there are a lot of first timers in WvW this week, and it sounds like your 1 of them)

2. ah i think i captured enough keeps in past 2 months since i rolled my thief which is rank 173 atm :o heck we even 4 manned enemy keep in EB back when we were fighting SBI and NSP xD

FSP is still lacking coverage in the night/morning for playing in the top silver. After primetime we had already a big margin against FR and i was looking a very easy match-up. When i came back in the morning we are so much behind because FR could tick some hours around 600, even with the night guild from us running.

It’s not about the runes, it’s about sending a message. Aka “we dont care at all”. In other games unbalanced things like this runes would be fixed immediatly, leaving this for months says more about how much they care than any “we look into it” post.

Irrwi, don’t forget that what you see is off-peak i.e. guilds aren’t online, no raids, just PUGs trying to do something together.
This afternoon at the reset, you’ll see something really different, although you won’t have your normal raid (hum, blob :p) capacity due to timezones, which is good b/c we believe 4 raids of 20 are much more effective than a blob of 80.
But there’s indeed quite an important difference between EU and NA playstyle, which is kinda interesting. We noticed this when a few french guilds migrated to NA D1 in order to cover timezones.

you guys don’t like to run straight into zerg but rather circle around; sometimes it went good, sometimes it just lead to our struggles getting killed and eventually entire “le bus” thin out too much
I think this is the most persistent trait i noticed from EU wvw: zergs hesistate too long before fighting each other. On first evening after xfer i watched how our zerg was staring at enemy zerg forever w/o engaging in any kind of combat o.o

you guys do stack better and react relative fast than common NA pugs, althrough as with every pug, many ppl are a rally bait

you guys don’t run as many uplvs as NA does in their “le bus”

IoJ loved to sieg up, FR doesn’t seem to be THAT big fan of it

for some reason not every “le bus” likes to kill cannons/oils :/

EU servers LOVE SM (BP in french) for w/e reason; in NA it is often the case that servers have PPT lead despite not having SM kitten is just too easy target

EU wvw’ers are really really nice, if you got downed next to someone, they will try to rez you instead of passing (even though they had chance to help) like most NA players do.

idk about other servers, but i am rather surprised by wvw participation on FR; you guys have big numbers no matter how bad it looks while NA servers tend not to do wvw if they are losing

i do have troubles understanding what ppl say (kitten french) but most ppl are friendly here and help you out if they can speak english <3

i just pray that this game won’t add even more pets like wow kept doing to a point where every class had some kind of pet and arena became pvp = player vs pet

look at zerker eles or thieves: they get one shot if they get caught

would war get one shot? nah; it still takes some work to kill even zerker warrior and if he doesn’t want to fight he has the best moblity in game and can get away at any given time

i am honestly rather disappointed that anet follows the same road as blizzard with warriors in their game: stupid survival, stupid dmg, stupid moblity, almost no trade off
