So you don’t need runes on armor, because there are none?

I was wondering whether the runes and sigils on armor affect PvP stats during ranked matches, as I know that there are only two set options for weapons which override your standard.

So, you don’t need any runes/bonuses attached to your weapons for PvP as they won’t give any buffs (except the runes and sigil you select in the build).

I was wondering whether weapon stats have any effect in PvP (as isn’t it supposed to be balanced)?

The reason I thought about this, is because I noticed that I did a lot more damage in PvP than in PvE/WvW.

Do you run medi-trapper with 3 traps (1heal+2utilities)?
OR
Do you run with 2traps(1heal+1utility)?

The other 1/2 utilities would be meditations.

Is the HoT update 110,000 files aprox? I have had a glitch where Guild Wars 2 simply installs all the game files again (like a repair) and am wondering whether or not it is doing so now.

Oh, ok I get it now. Why is that the case for invisible bags (no bug, this occurred due to my invisible bags).

Sometimes I loot items and I can’t do several actions with them:

Firstly I can’t salvage them.
Secondly I can’t sell them anywhere (including merchants and the black lion).
Finally they don’t seem to even be ‘present’ in my inventory (as an option to sell).

I fix this issue by storing them in the bank, and then taking them back out (it removes the issue). This is time consuming and annoying.

Anyone here watched Wooden Potatoes’ video on how to play the new class when it comes out? If so, that’s how I am gonna play the new class as well, the ‘hard’ way. It just adds more fun, plus by the time you reach level 80 and will most likely re-enter the heart of thorns’ zones, you will have forgotten most of the area and its events from when you last played it wi your main a quarter of a year ago…

That would be rather helpful, but isn’t there already a search option. If you go to the Heart of Thorns subcategory, you can search only in that section right? When more expansions come there will be less hype in the forum’s though making this idea annoying if that would be the case…

Is it me or has there suddenly been a huge update released?

Will you need HoT to play season 3?

Due to the release of HoT, there hasn’t been any living world events for a significantly long time… I they still continuing and just taking a break or is season 2 the end?

Personally, for new players this is a great idea, but for veterans, you should’ve given a cheaper option ONLY containing the expansion for about €30. It would’ve caused many more people to purchase your expansion. Right now I am very unsure whether or not to purchase the minimum €50 option, while with a €30 euro option I would’ve pre-purchased already.

From such a great company, who have lived on the idea of a great mmorpg with no subscription model, getting it just right, I am left feeling very hollow with this approach on the expansion. I understand that BECAUSE there is no subscription model, you need to over-price the game to keep up on bucks, but at least then create an option for veterans, even make it €35-€40.

My thoughts on the expansion pricing!
