Honestly I’m pretty upset about there being scaled items. I was playing on my level 55 character that I’ve been co-oping with my wife and got worthless scaled items at the end of the event. I wish someone would have mentioned that our levels made a difference, because now I have items that are 1/10 of the value because I played on a different character, even though I did the same amount of work as I would have on my level 80.
I had to complete this quest with the red circles never stopping.. it was probably a glitch and it took a few hours to do it. Insanely hard. This was nearly at launch though so hopefully it’s not a problem anymore.
It seems to me that people who roll one bad class tend to roll them all. Obviouslh I’m not the only necro/ranger. At least I’ll never know what a “good” class is as long as I stick to those 2.

So I’ve noticed that if you select a NPC near your asura, it wont turn it’s head towards the NPC. This is pretty annoying since every other race does this fine (maybe not charr?).
Is there a reason for this? Are asuran necks just broken? Was ANet just too last to put in the animation?
It sounds like these are issues where the account holder’s machine may be compromised by some malware or a keylogger, and the accounts have been accessed by someone else. In these cases, it is very important that you carefully have the machine inspected and remove any malware or keyloggers as well as change the password on your account. It is also highly suggested that you apply one of the Mobile Authenticators to your account if you can.
No, I guarantee this is not the problem these people are facing.
Looks like another week of absolute decimation and just plain out nothing fun on FC again. With the rate things are going, when FC does the best on weekend nights, we will likely have +30ish points for the remainder of the week. How fun. Hope the real 2 servers enjoy their World vs World vs Insects.
It’s not very fun running around repeatedly capping undefended camps and eventually just running into a Zerg 3x bigger than your group at least.
It’s not very fun doing that if you’re not prepared to run into the zerg. Make groups that are built for wrecking zergs and build up coordination within them. It only takes 10 people and you can wipe out 2-4x your number with the element of surprise and skill/coordination. WvW isn’t all about zerg groups and you can win fights you are outnumbered in as long as it’s not 10vs70. You have to remember that after you cap the undefended camp, their isn’t only one option – leave. Setup shop and make a meat grinder of a choke point. You can hold some supply camps easily with under 10 people and a couple ballistas/arrow carts against 30 people.
Don’t lose hope because you’re losing numbers. Adapt and try to have fun with what you have and pitch in to help rebuild your community.
Been there, done that. The problem is no matter what supply camp you’re defending there’s always a treb who will blow the kitten out of your siege. Sure, it’s fun for the 20 minutes that you can hold the other team off, but the fact that we buy 2G worth of upgrades and siege for such little fun is pretty stupid.
I’ve never been a fair weather player, but more and more often I don’t feel the urge to play WvW because I know if I go to any BL I will see a torch with Outmanned bonus and a map full of red and blue. I didn’t even go to WvW once this week so far. With the rapidly decreasing numbers in Ferg, seems like nothing gets done. Now in addition to that, our biggest guild is gone, leaving only a medium sized guild with literally 2 commanders on the entire server. It’s all kind of depressing really, but I still don’t plan on transferring out.
I have to admit the commanders on FC are kind of kitten . Besides Alpha Bladie there aren’t any competent commanders at all, they just lead mindless zergs.
I just want to mention Kaineng is not a smaller server. Nope; sorry, you cannot say that anymore. Just because overall server pop may be lower does not mean your WvW pop is lower- Not at all.
You misunderstand. I absolutely LOVE when you guys show up durin prime time. However; it really ticks me off when Kaineng is pounding their chests because they had a a massive advantage due to the night capping. Not to say that you guys don’t put up a very good (and usually balanced) fight durin prime time, as you said above, but because of that it’s impossible for us to win because we have to retake everything, everyday, after the night/morning. Not only that, but you collect incredible amounts of points during the PvD sessions and the following several hours while we have to recap everything. When his fight first started, I was SO excited because Kaineng was actually keeping up. However at this point, I’m rather annoyed with HOW they’re keeping up.
Also I’m probably one of the most annoyed on FC, don’t generalize my server solely on me and a few others.
Regarding the screen shot, I do remember when that happened. Kaineng was destroying us on our BL since we had low pop that day, Kaineng controlled their BL; and Devona controlled theirs. Just taking one instance doesn’t justify a loss for us though. Take a look at almost any other point during prime time, and you’ll see that we were repeatedly capping towers and keeps back from you guys. The biggest problem was just having to take everything back every day.
No congrats on the win Kaineng. I really wish I could, but to be completely honest you didn’t deserve it. I just see no honor in night capping all 4 maps and getting 600+ points per tick for 8+ hours a day. I really wish there was some way to fix this, it’s a new thing to me being from FC.
Applaud you guys who have stuck to it from the beginning though, good job.

Amazing how much SoS’s night capping can affect the game. If you guys didn’t have them this match would still have a massive difference in points.
Yeah we’re gonna be the new worst server unless some commanders (what’s that?) show up. I’ve been nagging the hell out of my guildies to get commander so they can actually organize something, but they don’t want to play outside of our 1 party force.
One hilarious thing about Kaineng and Devona is how terrible and mindless a lot of heir players are. For the past couple days, about 4 of my buddies and myself go to the Devona map (which was totally owned by Devona) and started battle with about 20 Devonas right outside our waypoint. There were probably more than 20 now that I think about it.
Anyway we totally crushed them and they only pushed back when a few more respawned and came at once or when they fell back to their tower to hit us with cannons.
To be honest, it wasn’t fun at all.
Looks like Kaineng population absolutely exploded. Seems if you’re the bottom server a lot of guilds want to transfer to you.

God I am so happy (and a little scared) with what Kaineng and DR have been doing this week. For maybe the first time (or at least what I remember), Fergy will have to fight it out the entire week! I really love it, having WvW not just a Friday night/Saturday morning thing! Afterall, WvW is definately my favorite thing to do.
No one should be able to do the kind of damage pulled of by burst builds. And Thieves are on the high-end of the spectrum, even if Stealth worked the way it should without the rendering bug it would still be a retarted mechanic.
A Warrior comming at you with bullcharge + 100b can be spotted a mile away, and dodged. A Thief on the other hand, can get in your neck instantly and invisibly, you dont know that he’s there untill after he started unloading his burst. There is no question which of these is worst.
But again, i think burst builds in general need to a hefty nerfhammer. Starting with Quickness which is just a completely ludicrous ability. Really?! You’re going to give someone +100% dps!? Maybe if people died after an extented fight, maybe. But even without Quickness people can already be dropped pretty fast.
Hey, let’s just ignore the fact that this “dodgable” 100b warrior has heavy armor and 24h health with an offense spec, whereas the thief has only 14k. Also that a thief can most likely only land a single backstab if you dodge backwards.

The only thing I agree is quickness NEEDS to be nerfed. They nerfed pistol whip to a point where it’s now worse than sword auto-attacks. When PW was in fact not the freakin problem, quickness is. Quickness makes viable skills imbalanced, and a 100% DPS increase is beyond crazy.
I’ve noticed it’s pretty hard to kill (or simply damage) when you’re half way into casting by the time their burst damage has downed you. What do you suppose we do to that?
Indeed, several times we’ve almost taken entire towers or keeps with less than a half dozen people. We just need people need to start playing on FC WvW more, even when we’re not winning. Unfortunately everyone seems to quit the second they start to lose.
