Not to knock anybody’s kitten, but Nero/Prometheius’s videos are probably the best there and should be at the top, the rest are just Wvwvw(Randoms killin Randoms) and S(crub)pvp

Prome’s stuff is just great because he really does some indepth analysis of the mesmer class/builds/etc.

I learned so many things from Nero’s vids it’s not even funny he does so many things that I’ve had to discover by rewatching at different intervals, I thought after 300 tournies I’d know most things about mesmer but just 10? minutes of footage proves me wrong every time.

Those two really inspired me to play mesmer and I think it’d be cool if more people saw those vids.

Never too late, Pugging is always fun and a 1-3 premade max would be pretty awesome too many scrubs who can’t win without a full premade.

I have almost no problems with thieves in tPVP since I switched to soldier’s .. though sometimes there are some really good thieves out there that will stomp me….

I don’t think there’s a really good solution to the endless Premade vs Pug conundrum, the only thing you can do is play more, get better, hope all the bad pugs quit so you can beat premades like a boss.

Or just you know, find good players add them to your friends list and send them lots of PMs to Pug with you when they’re on.

Yes if you’re only basing it on this one thing alone which has almost nothing to do with the theory…. anyway as I said the theory is crazy, but since there has been no transparency what can a man do but make crazy assumptions?

I’ve got this crazy theory that the gem market is really a sham, completely controlled by A-net.

Do you ever set the prices on the gems you sell? No? who are you selling them to? The people putting out buys for gems? Nope, no one can put out orders for gems, I think you’re selling directly to a-net, and getting gems directly from a-net, maybe based on current gold prices of goods, maybe not.

Beating a thief who has the jump on you is pretty hard, especially on a warrior as their burst damage is almost instant death… Especially if you’re running glass.
Not running glass and running a balanced or Bunker build might be a good start..

Your best bet is to Stunbreak About-face button endurepain/or shield 5, or even GS 3 out of range heal Pwn. Thief-backstab build has about a 4 second window to burst you down, if that fails he loses.. and if he doesn’t have the jump it’s even harder to do.

Running away as a burstbackstabber is pretty hard, as you only have shortbow with 2 teleports for a maximum of 1800 meters one 3sc stealth, and none of the awesome utility skills another build may have but in exchange no burst.
