Happened to me last night. Killed the king and no rewards. Hodgins was standing there so no idea why we didn’t get the rewards.
Time wasted…
Remove bleeds entirely from Necro and give us Necrosis stacks instead.

As much as a I like this idea (and the name ‘Necrosis’) I imagine it would end up giving us an unfair advantage in DEs.
Guardian’s Binding Blades is it’s own DOT type
Also happened to me.
The servers I changed to from haven’t ever been near the same tier on WvW. I busted to 80 to play this weekend then I’m screwed because I wanted to play with friends on Halloween.
I transferred to another server for Halloween and the transfer warning gave 1 day as the waiting period. 2 days later it’s 5 days before I can transfer.
Guess no WvW this weekend. Silly me trying to play with friends.
This really pisses me off. I busted to 80 to be able to play this weekend.

I ran some 80 only speed runs with my newly 80’d guardian who only had level 40 greens and no accessories. Shhhh.
(She’s fully geared now so don’t stop inviting me ._.)
I also had some guy rage-quit from my AC Exp group after I found 2 40s to complete our group. Was funny seeing in trying to convince us the 40s would mean we would wipe.

I seriously hope you didn’t delete your character. with 6 slots base I doubt you had all of them full with level 80s.
Ha, I thought about it as I did want the name. But no, I transmuted and stripped him of everything I could. ~100G was spent on his 80 stuff and I don’t have that kind of money anymore.

Now tell me which profession has NO condition removal? None.

Edit: These buggy forums are annoying. Show me that melee necro cripple. Also guardians are the KING of condition removal. I was shocked coming from my necro.
Seriously, you’re terrible if you can’t keep up with a sub 10 second gap closer.

First of all SKudder thanks for posting this thread .. and awesome name! I completely agree on the fact that Guardians need A TOOL for snaring people. I mean absolutely none of our weapons OR UTILITIES have a cripple on them. Which makes fighting in melee, which we have to do 100% of the time (cmon, don’t tell me you actually use scepter in pvp) very hard to do.
It’s sad that trolls have run rampant throughout the thread with totally LAME excuses for why Guardians shouldn’t get a cripple.

Once again, a terrible attempt to disregard the need for a cripple. Yes, we can close gaps, NO ONE ARGUED THIS FACT. But closing gaps is a LOT DIFFERENT than keeping someone in melee range where you can effectively use your autoattacks and do damage. Keep in mind, our “gap closers” are usually 600 range unless you’re talking about our One ability (JI) to close a gap on a 45 second cooldown. Conversely, you can look at Thief SB (900range) Warrior Dash+Whirlwind (gets you about 1200 – 1500 range) ele’s lightning surge or whatever it’s called (900-1200 roughly) .. we’re not the only ones with gap closers.. but simply the only ones without cripples.“ermagerd, you have RoW and LoW”
These area denial skills, while extremely useful in large scale engagements, are completely useless in 1v1/small scale skirmishes. Not only do both have a huge cast time while being completely immobile, but the area denial skills can be dodged/jumped/lucked through on a regular basis- and still fail to keep a target where you can actually work on doing damage in melee range.

Yes gap closers, pulls and immobilizes are not enough. We MUST have AoE cripples too. Class is completely unviable without it.
I came from maining a necro (go look at the number of closers on that class and tell me with a straight face that guardian is the least mobile class) and the amount of mobility that my guardian has is amazing. A gap closer with an 8 second cooldown on my weapon skills? You’re pretty terrible to be losing a foot race.

Clearly guardians have no way of doing anything if they have to cast stuff. Unlike every other professions that have instant 1200 range immobilizes?

Bleed as well as ALL dots only tick once a second. Increasing duration does nothing unless you can increase it to at least a second longer.
It isn’t a bugged mechanic. Every elite transform in the game provides a stability buff in addition to the transform. It doesn’t say stability 20seconds or until you exit the form, it simply says stability.
Necromancer -> Plague Form -> Exit
Loses all stability gained from plague form. This is not once of the 100+ necro bugs, it was changed to behave like this.
viable CC in melee range. No slows/snares/cripples on any of our weapons.
Uh, coming from a profession that doesn’t have gap closers or immobilizers it seems like you just want everything. My greatsword has 2 closers but no cripple- UNFAIR!
Let’s see how a guardian can close/stay close:
GS: Leap of Faith, Binding Blade
Hammer: Zealot’s Embrace, Ring of Warding
Staff: Symbol of Swiftness, Line of Warding
Scepter: Chains of Light
Sword: Flashing Blade
Utilities: Judges Intervention, Save Yourselves, Retreat, Signet of Wrath, Bane Signet

You’re missing the point of the guild armor- it’s another gold sink. A player has to buy their regular armor, buy the guild armor (for the transmute), then buy the regular armor again (to undo the transmute).

It used to be an elite, Anet moved it to utility and RF to elite and didn’t bother trying to rebalance either. A few patches later RF is more balanced, sanctuary isn’t.
It’s the Anet seal of quality that I’ve come to expect by having been a Necro.

I wasn’t taking about JUST the bots/lack of guild filtering but about all the issues- the bots just happen to be a very visible one.
One that really grinds me is the amount of necro bugs (way over 100 with skills/traits that did/do nothing aka completely broken). It bothers me because I have worked in software development in the QA side of things all my life. It boggles the mind that they released something in that state and weren’t even aware of it.

I don’t see how incompetence isn’t a “world-ending” problem. They’re woefully incompetence and a new player is immediately introduced to it/Existing Players are entrenched in it/Returning players are reminded of it.
Yes, I too want my warrior to instantly down anyone when I get into melee range.
All this strategy is hard.
Bind dodge to a key. Bonus: you become a better dodger.
