IMO, the whole game never left beta.

This, you don’t add new modes 2 months in/new tiers of gear 2 months in/have hundreds of gamebreaking bugs in a finished game.

I’m looking directly at the people who complained about exploiting the ‘Spectral Walk’ bug that allowed you to reap all the benefits with it not even in your Utility Bar.

And now we’re the only class who loses swiftness when we enter the water.

It was always working, people just assumed it was supposed to work in a particular way while it worked in a different way.

How it works: On your screen you must be facing your target and not moving, then it works.

No it was not always working. It in no way used to remove any conditions. It also broke stun when you weren’t facing a target/had no target.

A stun breaker that requires you to face a target is pretty useless.

From what I’ve read so far, I like it. I don’t see how you could QQ about this, but then I have faith some people will find a way… (Ah, there are still some certainties in life.)

People are QQing because they wanted all the Profession notes to be for the Necromancer.

Also note the amount of people calling out obvious bug fixing as ‘nerfs’ because they were bugs that worked in our favour. A bug is a bug. It’s not a nerf if it wasn’t working as intended in the first place.

I don’t see how our dodge roll being the only reliable blast finisher necro had was an obvious bug.
Unless having a reliable skill was the indication of a bug. You sir are too cynical.

So you want them to tweak balance before they fix broken skills and traits? That’s absolutely backwards because they’d have to rebalance everything after they fix it.

Yes? They’re doing oh so great of a job fixing our broken skills ad traits that I thought changing them would be easier. Do you want to spend until the next “expansion” waiting for fixes?

I wasn’t aware, but HoTW gear is armor and weapons, I explicitly meant accessories (and back).

Ah, but the Foefire Greatsword, and Triforge Pendant both do not have their stats on -any- other gear in the game. That’s a biiig part of the argument. If you don’t have those stats available to you at all, in any form, but they’re available on a lower tier piece of gear, isn’t that just kinda silly?

You can get Condition/Toughness/Precision accessories only up to green (masterwork) not rare or exotic. This ‘not being available’ isn’t something new to this game.

Nope, a new recipe for a new ascended triforge should be added. It’s a gear treadmill after all.

They already mentioned sending out some ascended gear in the dev diary. As I said. simply hoping that for the gear (Foefire greatsword was brought to my attention by a guardian friend) with unique, non-standard stat spreads, gets it’s place among the Ascended gear.

Why?
It’s an exotic piece of gear. Ascended > exotic. Yes you spent money on it, I don’t see why that should factor into anything.

Legendary is the top tier of gear so yes legendaries should be buffed.

I personally don’t see anything wrong with upgrading the triforge to ascended quality. This isn’t World of Warcraft, and something that takes perspective months to farm shouldn’t be rendered obsolete when the game is hardly 2 and a half months old.

That’s just stupid.

But everything else is ok being obsoleted 2 months in? What’s the cut off price range for something that shouldn’t be affected by gear treadmill?

While it IS fun, that path with the under water boss is just On auto-attack and alt tab.

Yep, since my auto attack is 1200 range and ignores LoS, I literally place my guy in a corner and AFK until I notice the award screen.

You do realize that would make us the only profession capable of causing every condition, right?

More to the point, however, is that Burning just doesn’t fit thematically with necros.

We can’t do and wouldn’t be able to do confusion.
Mesmers can already do every condition in the game expect fear.
Engineers can already do every condition in the game except fear.
Rangers can already do every condition in the game except confusion.

Deathly Swarm ¼ 18 Unleash an insect swarm, blinding multiple foes. Transfer three conditions to your target on a successful attack.
Consume Conditions 1 1¼ 25 Feast on your conditions, gaining health for each one consumed.
Corrupt Boon Corruption 3 40 Poison yourself. Transform all boons on your foe into negative conditions.
Plague Signet Signet 3 60 Passive: Transfers conditions from nearby allies to yourself.
Active: Send your conditions to a foe.

2) you can use it in WvW but it will prob put you at a disadvantage (you give up that upgrade slot so while “base ascended” > “base exotic” then “ascended infused” < “exotic with rune/upgrade”). plus, infusions will do nothing for you in WvW.
3) it replaces the upgrade slot so no runes, gems, etc. meaning you are giving up something to get something

I suggest you reread.
You’re not giving up anything, the new ascended items are RINGS and BACK. The new ascended pieces have gems already in their stats + EXTRA stats.

You give up nothing. Ascended items are better for WvW/PvE outside of the dungeon.

Since necro’s #3 ability starts with a 20second cooldown, I don’t see how the ability to strip a boon would help them. An instant suicide button with no cooldown would be better then being on the ground for 20+ seconds.

Mods this is not a thread about the new armor it’s about communication.

There is confusion among the community regarding the new armors and what they do/don’t do. Multiple topics about it breaking out even as I write this. A post from Anet could help the situation a bit.
I know, time is valuable, Anet is listening but doesn’t have time to post. You know you could hire a community liaison. (I’m pretty sure you have some actually, who is in charge of your twitter?)
