so i tried to calculate my upcoming crit dmg.
took all my minors from weapons, runes, trinkets, armor etc: 775 ferocity (all ascended)

this is equal to 51% crit dmg….sad thing is currently i have 107%.

old: crit base 150%+107%= 257% (right?)
new: crit base 150% + 51% = 201%

well….erm….i thought it was “only” a 10% nerf?
did i do a mistake while calculating?

I just hope i Never accidentally take this trait and forget to swap it out before combat Starts. Maybe the other 4 gm traits are less crappy. Deadly arts and acro Maybe interesting (They have no real competitors there)

I know someone tested tactical strike (a year ago). Ts is listed as a 1.5sec daze, but back then it inflicted a 2sec daze (at least the dazed Icon on that Dummy was 2sec visible). Maybe it was due to the rounding bug which was fixed in octobre.
So, Maybe you need a para sig now to get the Same 2sec daze. It doesnt rly matter, Ts is crap in pvp (4sec revealed + shorter daze, horrible aftercast from cnd).

Afaik…yes. At least for tactical strike. Dazelock was once too powerful so it got nerfed to death.
Edit: this is for pvp. It still works in wvw/pve. But there you only need either sigil or runes

Afaik is tactical strike a 1.5sec daze in pvp (which automatically rounds up to 2sec). So para sig will Not increase it anymore, also Not mesmer runes and Even no 3sec daze with both.

And i think i read it somewhere that sigils/runes that increase daze duration Do Not any longer affect stuns (that was thought as a hambow nerf but Hit s/p much harder). So anet decreased delay between stun and flurry. But im Not 100% sure about this

I played almost the Same a few weeks ago. Different utils, lyssa Rune. Very strong.
Atm i try to rebuilt/max it for wvw (started as Dire yesterday). Today i mixed in some soldier armor and swapped out Dire trinkets for cond/Power/vit ones.
Thinking about swapping condi Stacks to bloodlust Or Even more soldier gear.

1.dont attack red moas
2.Most warriors are Bad

play dagger offhand , cnd on phantasms (they often die to it, cuz not traited).
so with cnd you 1. outstealth them , 2.kill their dmg source.
btw gs+sw/p is not a real power pu built and you could easily win if you wouldnt play cheese d/p. this mes has only 2 stealths (decoy+mass invis).

id played triple sword power pu in wvw too just to troll d/p thieves. but got melted by dagger offhand ones.

just like old dshot. rupted skill is disabled for additional 20seconds, 15sec cd.
give that beast to longbow, replaces barrage (that skill is so useless).

Even if devs changed ir in Order to break stomp combos, They should left it at instant cast but make it cancel current Action and disabled while stunned etc.
Reference:
Blinding powder is instant but cancels Action (why Btw? Last refuge does Not).
Withdraw is instant but disabled while stunned.

I know Ele is really in need of buffs. I know Ele is up in pvp and wvw, and I hope this proffession gets some buffs. But please…while buffing Ele, fix that fiery Rush bug (no target and especially lightning Flash+ Rush).
Yea Its an Elite skill, Yea it should Deal alot of dmg but insta killing a whole Group from range (lightning Flash) in half a second is a little Bit too strong.

Its a Bug. Had that too today. You can dodge and it costs no endurance but You cant attack, cant heal, all You can use are abilities with no casttime. I Had to kill myself to get rid of this Bug.

WA is in the game since launch. Noone ever complained and thieves were much stronger a year ago. Even WA was stronger once. Stop complaining bout everything. Just go back ingame, play your warrior, have fun with easy fights.

Btw… Not every thief Has blackpowder. Dagger offhand will Not use wa vs wars Most of the time (too risky). And consume ectoplasm is stronger (i wish i could steal that from warriors as it really counters them)

Nerf this, nerf that, nerf warriors, nerf thieves… Those threads need to stop. I accept Most ppl Do Not want to learn in this game. Most pplwant easy fights, easy wins.
Give Players some Servers on which only a fixed amount of each proffession is allowed.
For example a Server where only 1 guardian on each sideis allowed.
Or “No thieves Server” (your favorite, we probably need 30 of those), “Only warriors Server” (Best Balance in the universe!)

This could stop Most whine threads. Easymode ppl can avoid their Most hated proffession.

Also: Give Players rank based Servers.

If. I have the trait signets of the beastmaster and Run it with 3 signets, then i use them. Be it hunt for extra dmg on maul, stone to survive burst/heavy pressure, wild for increased dmg and stability and renewal Vs condi burst.
If i Do Not have this trait, but the Elite, and use its active then All my 3 utility signets cant be used actively (stone and wild especially). Which means easy kill.
Anet should rlly make the signets affekt Player by default and pet with trait/Elite.

Rework or remove infusion of shadows (Not preferred cuz it messes up PvE thief builts), maybe only 1 ini?

Remove initial blinding shot from bp (i like this idea, it would be easier to rupt hs or cnd from that jumping thief)

Or that Combo finisher dark field thing, which would need some balancing afterwards (s/p ultra strng, p/p 1k lifeleech) also i think a ranged stealth should cost even more ini as you dont need hs and ios would make it cheaper than cnd.

I would never go back to d/p in wvw, d/d s/d is soo much more fluid and fun.

And today i met 2 rank45+ elementalists who complained about lb/gs signet zerk Ranger (i played this) “easy to play” , jumped on my double teamed Body (as if it was a challenging fight for them), and solo they just died to it which Made them even more upset.So they began to Call me a Bad Player (im surely not an awesome outstanding SuperPlayer or madness like All those uberwarriors) cuz i dont play a Meta built.
Some ppl…lose to One of the weaker pvp builts and still complain.
Power Ranger needs some love, its fun and All, but Not rewarding. 1 mistake (or enemy has healing sig) and you will have a Bad time.

The only “buff” (id Call it bugfix) sword 2 needs is inf return back to no casttime but disabled while stunned/dazed. It says you clean 1 condi..fear is a condi…
Oh…forgot bout that evil ss-stomping (only pistol offhand is allowed to safestomp!) ridiculous.

Well your suggestion Sounds sure better, i just hope i get the Condi cleanse , health and blind from the slotted traits, and ofc i give up my stealth atk for this solution to make it balanced.

dear anet,
before you mess around with traits, skills, opness , upness, condis and crit dmg can you please PLEASE fix that kittenty moment when you use a stunbreaker on a stun and get bugged into terrain or simply can not move until you use a movement skill. really…those kind of bugs (which costs you life) are more important than any other balance kitten.
