Ok fun on Gandara BL, got the lottery pick of Blue Border and amused to say the least.

If you didn’t notice Gandarans we saved your Garrison at least 6 times from Le French. Who just probably happen to be so far the most weird I’ve ever seen. 40-60+ Waypointing away from 16-8 was the true highlight. Having an enemy guild plus pugs totalling over double sometimes triple our number constantly waypoint out with nothing attacked, just to avoid a fight and take a camp – was strange.

You made it hard to have fights. A score orientated server, so Gandara and AG prepare to have a bad score in comparison due to coverage and the nature of their server. I look forward to fighting your zergs.

Look forward to adding to my kills this week.

Appreciate you taken us on again, just wish more guilds would Seems you had a busy week with 3 or 4 GvGs we barely got the 1 in All good fun though.

Aside from a big part of Wednesday Primetime, where the FSP and UW ran around as big masses, won’t even call em that “word” and lagged the crap outta FSP BL – it’s been a really great matchup, lots of different guilds, lots of different and I must say well-led commanders, guild + pug mix. Been really something from everyone (sure I’m not on all 4 maps and sure people have different experiences of the match) but has been really enjoyable and I wouldn’t say NO to this matchup again – assuming a few more guilds ask us for GvG ofc <3

Been really nice to get acquainted with UW some of your guilds and commanders, been some epic fights and a lot of fun with FSP also.

Forgot to mention EB and all the other BLs later on with our 10-11 guys was good fun to engage the late night groups.

Started UW BL, had some action but left zone for dear old HoB so they could get their guys in from Queue and GvG Punk. Alas FSP BL was a lag fest.

Kale with xyz numbers and the rest of the zone defending admirably Bay, and the UW presence was also just one group. We found a few scraps to be had but for the most part the entire map was laggy as hell half the time, even when sitting at spawn or the N camp fighting a handful.

Good smush when we caught the guild(s) by themselves though. Mostly a clusterkitten though Resolute defending..

Typically as roaming guilds go, one does not simply go to their own borderlands due in most part to Queues. This has been perfect as UW bring the fight on their own BL, FSP and AG can send guilds there and have a scrap.

In previous matches such as Gandara + Riverside. No one wants to go to Riverside BL cause you all know its T3 and 50 Acs per door. So AG guilds go Gandara, but Gandara Guilds can’t in most part to queue and thus go to AG – meaning Guild Vs Pugzerg for the most part rather than Guild v Guild action in the mix.

UW for my perspective are the best 3rd server to have, pride and spirit and no lack of determination for fights on their BL. Very competent and extremely fun.

A lot of people last week were like “oh bless RoF no numbers” well that was all horse kitten, they just had a crap attitude and lack of morale to fight. I saw countless times of 50-60+ including 1 or 2 guilds in that. Just they didn’t stay after a few wipes, didn’t come out and fight. A real lack of spirit, perhaps lack of community comms + commanders. Same with Drakkar Lake, they lost one guild Dsun, who in all the weeks previously we had fought DL never saw them. Then after Dsun left, Drakkars had no fight in them last time whatsoever.

More servers should be like UW. That is all.

You bring action and as a guild leader of a roaming guild, I can’t ask for more.

@MajobooOm : The meta/mechanics of the game aren’t made so you “have” to blob. You choose too because you can’t win fights. The longer you stay in blobs, the longer it takes for you to improve (if possible).

While you may enjoy the safety of numbers, the karma PVD, you will never get better. Still working on being able to effectively beat 100 man zergs, thankfully many servers don’t run this amount but that’s the final zerg test.

Guilds running independently, smaller groups doing their thing with pug commanders. Guilds having honour and not adding in to fights of ally guild vs enemy guild – that is all good stuff.

Yet to find a week in which everyone is happy. Always some trolls, whether it baiting foes or dissing their own server. Seems a fair few just can’t be happy.

Personally a great week, FSP have surprised me a little, although you still seem to leave map earlier than I would like </3 – just a fact we have to get used to as a prime time guild our raids keep going and going till the action dies off, where as a lot of others have specific times they end raids. Ah well was fun anyways.

UW have been the real surprise package though, the guts and vigor and determination, not to mention the willingness to fight again and again – great ethos, great mentality your folks have had on your own BL. Keep that attitude, you bring action and a variety of challenges to overcome.

Definitely a repeatable week, throw Millers, Gandara and Augury Rock into the Mix, heck even Blobadon for the unique challenge :p

There are quite a few people like you Okaishi on AG server too, conspiracy round every corner. The oh no server A hit us here, and then server B hit at other keeps.

Fact is a huge % of pugs, commanders and to an extent guilds.. are all opportunistic. While TUP may not play for points and the love of siege warfare, we love to fight and roam. We are still opportunistic – I deliberately left FSP attack your garrison several times when I could of gone there and had a fight. Was hoping to get rid of your upgrades. Many examples every raid, of decisions I make as leader that use situations on the map to suit my needs later in the raid.

Now that’s all just as a roaming guild raid. Commanders who either Wxp farm or play for points, look at a bigger picture. FSP see you tied up with AG and golems, perhaps scouted the action. Think to themselves quick quick while they engaged lets get some WXP and/or take stuff for points.

It is very rare for any cross server co-operation, and when there is its generally between a small group of individuals, such as guilds or commanders.

Everyone is an opportunist, not everyone is in an alliance with enemies.

How’s your matchup. Gandara if you haven’t fought UW, while they might not have the overall coverage to totally compete score wise, they are fun. They certainly love to fight and provide a challenge.

Don’t be jelly of our matchup this week – I just know I’m destined to get something crap soon (previous week was dead, don’t want another one of them).

Cheers for the fights tonight on UW BL. Looked at your hills once saw 2 guys perma sat on cannons, full upgrades full supply, ac’s raining down before a ram is placed – thought nope, a waste of time. Took to what we enjoy, roaming.

Had a real blast tonight, kudos to FSP for the time they stayed in zone, though shame to see you guys leave. UW a mixed bag you’ve turned out to be, some good smush to be had with you too. Really enjoyed Bay and the NW tower a few times.

So ye keep this up, hope you folks enjoyed it as much as we did. Although I made just the one mistake pushing out with just 12 guys @ bay when we finally lost it (10 afk at spawn! <not happy lol) against 40+ was my only regret.

We came from UW border, where TUP rddt HoB RL+pug’s was running as 1 grp
Skill lag was worse then a SM lordroom fight

You sir make me chuckle. HoB don’t raid on Fridays – we are good mates with them and SHOCK HORROR we had 1 guy…. 1 guy with us from HoB, later a 2nd managed to get after queue, but you had already left the zone by that time.

Rddt did their own thing as did RL. We ran 20-25 and came across FSV and Kale and pugs many a time, counting atleast 50 between you. Do we complain about handholding guilds, no.. Just a shame you all left the zone.

Only time you caught us together was at keeps, noteably the UW garrison which after an insanely long fight got pushed out the first time, You choose to come into that mess, and we proceeded to kick you out of the keep. Alas UW’s never ending wave after wave was too much at that time.

Then you charged us at bay with your Kale guys not far behind, at that point we would of been outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1… on the plateau, we had already won that encounter before Rddt joined in.

If I am missing something please enlighten me. Just ask the ballsy brave UW lot, TUP were alone engaging their hordes win and lose.

PS: as the UW guy said, there was barely a door left standing in garri that first time. We all engaged at different points, the lord room was a free for all.

As for GvG mail me ingame @ Dranul for any 15-25 GvG. We don’t use that website, but if anyone wants some action and some fun challenge us.

Well I’d usually say MS, Gandara as they bring a variety of encounters. However with it being summer and a lot of folks having holidays etc, this week I’m not really fussed as long as they bring the fight.

I do believe in good banter, not a fan of jumping into a matchup thread that doesn’t concern oneself and having nothing positive to say.

Otherwise I think most of us would be asking “how’s the blob going abbadon?” in their thread daily

Disappointed we weren’t taken up on any GvGs, 2 weeks in a row no takers, makes for sadpanda.

Although next week with many folks on holiday we might struggle ourselves with numbers for that, we’ll see who we get.

Abit Jelly of Dzag tbh. RoF doesn’t have the manpower (from reset’s PoV) to be a challenge let alone a threat. Drakkars just has numbers atleast that’s something.

Aside from my first fight guild vs zone which eventually ended badly, underestimated the numbers led to muchios pain. Was a good few hours, spending too much time looking for fights though, RoF really lacked a presence on our BL/left early. Which as a lower tiered server, the weather, Friday night, all to be expected.

Enjoyed the scraps the DL lot gave us, till they too left zone sad panda. I do miss Riverside (on reset only) when they push us hard for 5hrs. Ah well here’s to a curious week ahead.

I think a lot of people might be enjoying more BBQs in this weather tbh.

Missed most of our raids this week due to other things, last night however after some guild activities I and 8 of my (finest?) misfits roamed and boy was “balls deep” fun. Winning fights we clearly shouldn’t, really enjoyed ourselves smashing quite sizeable forces from both servers.

Also to QQ appreciate the humour with jumping around again – was my call to attack you for real the second portal bomb <3 attacking over double our number of organised plus pugs was “interesting”.

Appreciate the action last night from Bots/Dc/Army, QQ, SoE, MM, Prxm and briefly Fury.

Really enjoyed the organised opposition much more fun watching countering enemy movement that the 50+ zergs that rollover like paper.

Shout out to the MS lot in GH garrison with us, – we got bored of sieging so bashed ya and left.

Ran between 24-28 at our peak last night – I blame the summer, cheers for keeping us on our toes and punishing sloppiness ruthlessly – One particular incident: NE bay, MS caught me royally with my pants down </3

Nothing against GH, any perceived “attitude” is against ‘Hypocrites’
:- a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

For people (all servers have people who do it) to spout their waaagh waaagh you blob, yet a day, a week later do exactly what they kittened about in the first place, smacks of hypocrisy – that my dear chap is what people don’t enjoy.

For clarity’s sake I count 11 posts in the last 79 by “you guys” – so I guess that equates to over 50% <3

A lot of you use this “tier” nonsense as some sort of argument or excuse, tier does not equate skill, only coverage.

Test yourselves, improve, have fun, enjoy the summer. Don’t be turning into lil haters, a lot of the matchup threads in general full of negatives – enjoy the good fights, the challenge, the crazy moments. If your part of a mega blob – go home and rethink your life “death sticks are bad”. Seek to challenge yourselves, only way you learn.

PS: the argument of “teaching” people the game when running 77+ with commands like “trample trample trample” – i’m sure they learnt a lot pressing auto attacks. Just saying – there are much more elaborate ways of teaching people to play the game.

Namecalling really? Starting again are we. Point out where TUP are “crybabies”. All a lag blob does it make us build ACs rather than “trample here trample here” weight of auto attack > skill. Just ask the mega blob what happens when u run blind into half dozen arrowcarts = a lot of loot bags for me.

Everyone and there mother complains about blobs – the 77+ event yesterday didn’t have nothing on the 100 man AM zergs – just saying.

Sped up, condensed 20minute fight from the first week with you GH – point out where TUP complains about blobbing. Its a fact people blob when they can’t deal with it in smaller numbers – it happens. However there are a few exceptions where people try to challenge themselves and deal with whatever is in front of them by themselves.

So how bout you keep my guilds name out of your posts.

Some people feel the need to bark and shout on the forums when their bite on the battlefield isn’t doing it for em. Just get back to gaming and do the talking on the battlefield.

You know the summer always brings with it those pesky wasps, that just won’t leave you in peace to enjoy a nice cold one.

While it is glorious outside, lets hope for some proper action tonight again.

All I see is a lot of my dads better than your dad, schoolyard pizzing contests. Now to the teenagers on here – you don’t know anybetter. Realistically though, a lot of you are much older and (cough) wiser.

Be happy that people are coming out to fight – you could be fighting anti pvpers or cowards that map hop after 2 or 3 wipes.

Echo the sentiments of Wam, some quality scraps. Some lag fests caused by certain events on the map. Some really horrendous FPS “omg slide show” fights, abilities not working, only thing that would work is dodge :s

Kudos for the scraps, appreciate our allies FIRE not adding into fights we were enjoying – and likewise returned the favour by watching you a few times, letting you enjoy the fight aswell as the foe at the time. Nothing is gained from “blobbing” no fun, no challenge, just ruins the fun of our allies and our foes.

QQ did catch me with my pants down along with a few guildies when you slammed into us while fighting DC </3 break my heart lol. But in general real nice fights all round (that certain 77man lagfest – cant say those 1fps fights were fun)

To all we fought tonight good stuff, to that army group, excellent start to the night, made that action packed, real intense smushing.

Cryhavoc, fury and whoever else was clinging on coat-tails, had some longwinded fights at the start of the night, seemed an endless amount, get some kills and there would still be a screen full of people to point my pointy stick at. Then Krato had to depart.

As the night progressed we were nicely warmed up, real action packed evening – atleast for a few hours before our opponents left the map /sad panda.

Enjoyed the smush, even more so when the enemy surprised us.

All about the fights. No points obsessed servers please, no cowards, no anti pvp servers please. All will be right in the world.

Appreciate the kind words and your best wishes towards Kratoon, SOE. You held yourselves well this week not just in the GvG but in roaming too, I missed the weekday raids but what I saw on reset and Sunday was plenty

You conducted yourselves extremely well, to top it off you showed great understanding and patience with our GvG – what with Kratoon rushing off like he had too and me getting thrown into it, during a hectic evening.

In a way your remind me of ourselves in one aspect, your ingame aggression, the balls deep, have a go, even if you maybe a guy or 3 less than your foe. Kudos for that, there are many many guilds that won’t engage even numbers, sometimes not even with a party more. End of the day its about the fun you have, and the fun is in the fights. Keep representing your server in this way, lead by example, was a pleasure to fight against you and some of the others from your server.

As for another GvG – sure if it can be arranged. We aren’t huge fans of that scene, like a school yard kitten ing contest lol – but we do them for fun, if we have the people available. What with our “main” GvG guy looking forward to 6months of sleepless nights – who knows what the future holds.

Regardless, we had a good time and hope you did too.

On another note – it is really nice how quiet it’s gotten on this thread. My guess is the kiddies are on summer holiday with their parents

Many times I’ve found myself alone in a full-supply, no-siege tower with a zerg beating on the gate. Usually by the time I can get an arrow cart up, the gate is already at 50% or less. This will help immensely. Woo.

And the 50man zerg can build Superior Rams even quicker than before.

Well nice reset was had by my misfits [TUP]. Started on Dzagonur BL, fought our way into Hills, fought off the horde that weren’t too happy about us trying to take it. Was a good taster for the rest of the night to come.

Switched BL when an ally moved to the BL we were in, with info on many organised foes to fight. Enduring a short queue and with some assistance from the AG on map, managed to get everyone in (appreciate the assist). Fought quite a few guilds from Gunnars on their BL – much to the enjoyment of myself, leading against many organised groups was a fun challenge. Kudos also to the times where individual although less in number than us, still gave us a fight. Applaud the attitude and size of your cahones.

Had many epic fights, quite a few at your North supply camp, wave after wave after wave, intense. Gave me a headache but in a good way <3

Moved to AG BL as it was only holding the north, quickly blitzed it all back to Blue and finding no sizable force to occupy us, moved around again. So thanks to allies during the night across the 3 maps, good work by all.

Shout out to both servers for the fights, testing ourselves is what we seek to do every raid. You both made it enjoyable.

Second, to those that saying you get burnt out “How about play a game where you are guaranteed to lose and never get a fair chance to win? And see how fast you get a burn out.”

There really are a lot of people playing a game for strange reasons. As a guild leader, I play for the fun and frolicking, epic action night after night, epic fights. I really don’t remember the last time I looked at the score board and thought… OMG we lost, the week has been an utter fail.

I think ANET needs to rethink the tiers and the system. Get all guilds and players who give a flying kittykat about playing for points onto servers that only play against others who also only care for points.

The rest who play for the sheer enjoyment of PVP and the epic clashes in their own matchups.

Really if peoples fun is weighed at the end of the week by 1st, 2nd or 3rd…

Apologies for sidetrack, but a few people needed to get replied too. Weird mindset some gamers have.

Mad? Disappointed is more accurate. You play PvP like a bunch of Wow players, stick to your PVE like a boss.

WvW is about the action, the clash of steel on steel. Afraid your mindset thinks WvW is about attacking empty keeps.

Should rename your server to Cowarddons Mouthing Forum Warriors. Server Motto: Most action you’ll get off us is on the forums! Bring an army and we’ll sniff out your empty keeps.

Kinda funny tbh. That you couldn’t handle the aggressive Elona Reach zergs, atleast (back when we fought them) they had spunk.

@Troll, do you know the meaning of logistics? Do you understand the concept of limited spaces on map? Do you also understand the concept behind queues?

Turning your BL completely Blue twice, eagerly awaiting you to turn up in more force than we kicked out of your BL sadly alas didn’t happen. You waited 40mins after our raid ended (only ended cause you bore us with your no show) then PVD an empty zone, kudos.

Accept that your cowards and move on, accept that you don’t like to PVP. Admit the truth, you cant handle the truth!

As for chilled, couldn’t get more chilled than I sir. We want action, you fail on that part. Your server should be disbarred from list of WvW servers, as you simply refuse to take part in PvP.

Highlighting truths isn’t aggressive, perhaps unwanted by you lot, but aggressive no. Just a sad day when PVE nubbings are allowed to take up a slot in a PvP matchup.
