No, we dont need rewards attached to it to encourage people to switch to winning servers until server transfers are locked down.

Currently you get the small boosts for winning your wuvwuv visible on the b screen.

Eclipse, I suggest that you just make the switch.

Making the switch now is much easier and less punishing the sooner you do it.

I do agree that you should be able to keep your influence, or get rewarded for doing so, but compared to long queue times it is a much smaller price to pay.
Plus when guesting is back in you can ‘guest’ back to your original server until you can get enough influence on your new server to use some of the guild benifits like guild armor.

Waiting for hours is not fun yes. But is keeping your influence really worth having less fun in a video game? Its a video game, I suggest you make the move, you will get the infuence back eventually. You now have a clear list of which servers have the lowest to zero queue times so you can move on your own very easily.

Angry Army switched to Devona’s and I hear they are having a huge blast. Kaineng desperatly needs a large guild to come in and bolster our numbers. We do hold our own (only on 1-2 maps currently, need more people to begin contesting the other borderlands) in primetime now but completly lack any numbers to do anything outside of prime.

You can, I did. Sure it will take 2 weeks or so to get it back up, but if you plan on playing this game for years, thats just a drop in the bucket.

only 2 of the 4? kaineng is lucky to even lock one, and even then its a <1 minute queue.

I wish you guys would stop funneling your population into our borderlands and fight somewhere else so at least we can hold some ground somewhere.

Retaliation need to not affect siege weapons. Arrow carts are currently useless in defending keeps against armies of 30 or greater.

There are some guilds on our server that are operating well in the Eternal Battlegrounds. They are putting up a good fight daily now.

Just when it gets off prime there isnt anyone on to defend anything anymore.

Amode the bottom 3 servers right now are Devona’s Rest, Northern Shiverpeaks, and Kaineng.

And malpractice, its a self fulfilling prophecy. We cant win matches without people, but people dont want to switch because they will have to lose matches.

Kaineng has never been second place.

Its a clear loser. Just look at the matchup its in right now, 3rd place by more than double the points.

If they fix that they need to fix everything going through doors so I can repair them without dying to the megazerg hitting the door. Until then, range the door down, use your own cat to bash the door.

Ugh, Kaineng needs the help WAY more than Northern Shiverpeaks.

I’m prettykittenburnt right now about the whole thing. Anet needs to provide incentives to switch to disadvantaged servers. real incentives, and they need to do this yesterday.

Something like a +magic find boost for a week or something substantial like perma outmanned buff in pve and pvp for a week (as long as you dont switch off).

You have a serious disconnect where people are whining and moaning and whining about ‘broken’ queues and you have servers out there that cant even lock a zone and get a queue in the first place.

NSP is at least in second place with 15k at this point, Kaineng has 7k.

Or retaliation, arrow carts die way too easy to retaliation.

Its better to convert the gold it costs to make them into gems and buy more bag slots or bank slots :P.

It probably would have helped to type it out in the first post instead of trolling the thread for a while gank, but what do I know.

So how does that work for servers that cant even lock one zone?

If you want a reduced queue and are on an american server, switch servers to a server that is not locking out its wvw with people creating 3 hour queues.

Run a high mobility build so you can run away from anything trying to kill you. Slot for movement and condition removal, keep aware and dont get caught. Also only travel to things you own and stay away from the enemy team enterances.

After you get your POI and Vistas, please leave, and make room for people who actually want to pvp in this format.

Kaineng is in need of serious help from an organized guild or two, we have a few, just dont have any real numbers to feild against fergy and devona’s rest.

If you are complaining about long queue times and playing on the american servers, switch over.

Also I am opposed to ‘new maps’ till our server can at least fill two maps. More maps means we split our already small force.

I am in favor of arenanet dynamically adjusting allowed pops so lower pop servers can complete, especially in off hours where barely capping supply camps.

I hope they fix the queue system, but if you want to primarily wvw I suggest you guys ship servers to a medium pop server where there are no queues at all.

Just as a general out there question, while you are queued for wvw, how often are you changing zones? Are you requeueing for any reason? Are you entering and leaving instances?

And yes I want this fixed. And yes i’m aware some eurozone servers of certain languages dont have the option of swapping servers. And also I support a visible queue, you are X position out of Y in queue.

Unfortuneatly this is a game feature to kick everyone out of an instance within 10 seconds of the instance creator leaving the zone.

Ask your husband not to leave the instance before you pick your award next time.

Could you start that mission again on your own character or did it advance you to the next story point, in that case it could be a bug that anet should fix.

Try destroying your instance by having everyone enter a different instance (such as the personal district in a nearby city, or using the portal to the eye of the north). Its a bug though.

Also, only one person should enter the gate with everyone in the zone. Everyone else will get a popup asking if you want to join a player in a dungeon.

I hope they get you fixed up. They will either fix it, or refund the gem amount, so keep an eye on your gem total and see if it gets returned.

Is your mailbox full? It has a max capacity of 10 mails, so delete any mails in it and wait a minute and see if the items get delivered.

Not a bug, just a poorly documented feature.

There is a 5% listing fee (documented)
and a 10% transaction fee (undocumented)

And queues arnt bugged as far as i can tell. The really popular servers have literally 3-4 hour queues for wvw in primetime. When you requeue you reset yourself in that queue, so dont do that if you want in.

Solution for getting queues, if you want to wvw all the time come to a medium pop server, no queues.

He cannot be killed because he has had the determined buff on for multiple hours. If you look at the map right now before you guys switch the wvw matchups today you will see it. I cant get in at the moment to take a screenshot of it, but fergison’s crossing cant take it either and they pretty much own the zone.

The other reason is your antivirus may be ‘sandboxing’ the application.

try running the executable as administrator. Right click and select run as administrator.

It might be installed to a location that is looking for administrator permissions.
