Too bad you’re not crafting. Discoveries would give you some nice xp.
Water Elementalist maybe? I’ll let other players with more insight to do better than my puny answer.
As far as I know from rumors and speculations, so I might be terribly wrong here, the NA worlds connect to servers located on mainland US (Texas?) and the EU worlds connect to servers located in Europe (Germany?). I don’t think there are any servers located in Australia, so you might as well just play on any NA server. You could play on unofficial oceanic worlds just for the fact the Australians speak English, and they are closer in time zones with Korea.
Bear in mind, though, that you move back to the US in a year, so in a year you will want to play on US prime time, and also with the friends you make now. So you might as well just think ahead and pick now a NA world filled with US players.
Ok, let’s see if my math is right. You finished the daily Tuesday at 9PM ET, which is Wednesday 1AM GMT. So basically you did last night the daily for Wednesday, which will reset in 3h40m from now.
This is probably what you’re missing.
It resets at midnight GMT.
I completed the map on a human. I can’t recall exactly how I got that PoI, but did you actually get back to the underground area you got to on the initial mission? Isn’t the PoI right there where you fought the ghost? Also, please notice that if a PoI is above or below you, you will see a small arrow next to it. Does this PoI have an arrow pointing down?
About the copper node. Every node I bothered to go to so far, I managed to get to it. Even if it looks impossible, there is a detour of some sort that lets you get to it. It’s the same principle as on vistas. Many times they look impossible to get to, but they have a hidden solution to it, not so obvious at first.
I noticed yesterday a player with a yellow star next to his name. It seemed a bit similar with the star that shows explored content. So I curious, you get that star when you reach 100% world completion, or it’s for something totally different like spvp for example?
Thank you.
No you can’t. Basically I think you’re asking if you can do more than 2 weapon switch combinations in a single fight, and the answer is negative.
If, however, you are simply asking if you can switch only the weapon from one hand and keep the same weapon from the other hand, yes you can. You don’t even need to have a weapon duplicate for the second set, if one set has an empty weapon slot. For example if you have Sword + Dagger in set 1 and Pistol + Nothing in set 2, you will actually get the skill bar for Pistol + Dagger when you switch to set 2.
Tick the option ‘Promote skill target’ and see if it gets the desired result for you.
I’m a rifle warrior, so I also have to deal with rifle sounds. I got used to it now, but with most of my sound sliders somewhere under 30%.
BTW, after 3 weeks of play, only a few days ago I noticed that whenever you fire a shot, you can hear the sound of a shell case hitting the ground.
Wasn’t it 5% listing fee, and also 5% sell fee? I was under the impression that if I want to sell something with 1s, I would get 5c taken from me at posting in the TP, and then another 5c at sale. Or am I wrong?
Just open up your hero panel and compare the green stats with the white ones.
Yes you can. Open the personal story tab and look at the first entry.
Some people use them for screenshots for promoting purposes (on guild sites), group screenshots, etc. Personally I would use this feature just to check if my name, my guild name and my title would display correctly, without having to ask someone else to confirm it. Then I’d turn it off until I’d change the title again.
Is it possible or not possible for those missing areas to be undiscovered jumping puzzles? Basically I’m wondering 2 things:
1. If the posters here who miss some areas did not do all jumping puzzles.
2. If the jumping puzzles indeed count, did the GW2 community find them all? I did not check to see if the list on Wiki contains all the puzzles found in the achievements tab.
Thank you, sir, you gave me a good laugh.
To whom do you actually send a mail in general? To character or account name? Because frankly, all our account names are here on the forums in all their splendor.
What I don’t really get is why ArenaNet didn’t actually make an option in the report menu called exactly Gold Seller. They could prioritize these reports and suspend the accounts faster. Instead, people either report them as spammers or scammers, and who knows, maybe some people can’t decide between those two options, and cancel the report they would’ve made.
Unfortunately, no. Many people hope this will be added by ArenaNet sometime in the future.
You should mention if you’re interested in a EU or NA server. You’d probably get better results.
I wonder if you could actually join them, and then just not represent them.
My EU server goes from High to Full to High again from time to time, probably depending on prime time. You could check your server status either early in the morning if you live on the East coast and got up earlier than most of the US, or late at night if you live on the West coast and most of the US (should’ve gone) went to sleep. Chances are, you’ll find a good time to set on that server.
Thank you for the answer. So if I understand this correctly, I should set the slider initially to the far left (lowest latency and theoretically best sound experience), and if I get sound glitches I should move it to the right a notch, until I get no glitches?
Either go to Guild Wars 2 Romania, and figure where the Romanian guilds hang around, or go to Ruins of Surmia, because there was a campaign like a month ago to be filled with English speaking players. The most populated English speaking servers are Desolation and Gandara, as far as I know, but they’re quite full, and you might avoid them.
BTW, you have to choose 1 out of 14 servers. The other 13 are DE, FR, or ES.
From what I can tell, pretty much all the maps are quite rectangular in shape. So if you look at your map and see that somewhere there is something like a corner missing, go there and see if you can fill that space. Also, look at this map, if it helps. BTW, do you have all the POI’s, etc., discovered in Kryta?
I’m not sure if staring gear is soulbound or not. Make another Mesmer, choose the option you want, take the mask and put it in your bank, and pick it up with your main. If that doesn’t work, try and see if you can transmute the skin to a random unsoulbound head piece, put that in the bank, and once again pick it up with your main and transmute it again. This is just guesswork, I have no idea really if any of these options would work.
Port to Lion’s Arch, and go to another starting area of your choosing. The Norn one is absolutely gorgeous. This is how I personally play. I did all 1-15 areas, now I’m into the last 15-25 area. And I’m always downleveled, so I don’t have any issues with being overleveled.
Teleport to a waypoint, I guess.
Does anyone know what exactly does this setting do, and where should I generally set it?
Thank you.
According to the Wiki, no.
Those people added you in their friends list. With or without your knowledge or permission…
Jump in the water south of the bank, and look for a sewer pipe with a broken lid.
Probably dumb idea, but do you have Melee Range Assist ticked? If not, tick it and see if there’s any difference.
Depends on what you like to do with this game. I am fully exploring all the maps (and that includes doing the optional jumping puzzles in them) because I like to do so, not for the completion rewards. Many people do it for the sake of completion.
Hello ArenaNet.
Since I got my hands on the game (BWE3) I noticed strange lettering in various places. Best way to show it is through the screenshots attached.
I think they show that with ~25 silver you can buy 100 gems, and with 100 gems you can buy ~19 silver.
All I know is when you die you do get a penalty in health, shown in the lower left of the health orb, opposite to the damaged armor sign. Your penalty will wear itself off after a while, but if you die repeatedly over a short period of time, the penalty will be bigger and bigger and the sign will move from grey to (I think) yellow and then red. I assume you had a red penalty when you logged off, and when you got back in, your penalty went poof and your health orb started to fill immediately.
Browse through this list, and see which guild is recruiting, and is to your liking.
So far I reported as spammer. But really, they should just add a gold seller option.
I assume you’re doing all the dungeons in story mode one after the other? The reward might be a helm, but that helm should be a cool looking one, so if you like the skin you can transmute it over your higher level helm.
Your 100% includes the WvW? I’m curious.
Firstly hop from map to map and see which one is not 100% complete. Then take a good look at the one you find it incomplete. This includes clicking on the various layers of height of the map, and also look at edges of the map. The maps are roughly rectangular shaped, so it will be obvious when you miss something like a corner. Other PoI’s might be rightsmack in the middle of the map but in a cave underneath you, and you might have missed it even you you walked on top of it. Also, there’s this.
Well, if he’s AU he has a bad ping anyway from playing probably on a NA server. He could be the one to switch to your EU server, and get roughly the same ping he has now.
Quote: ยท The following Cooking Materials are no longer sold for Karma and are now acquired through drops, gathering nodes, or loot bags: Butter, Chocolate, Vanilla, Chili Peppers, Thyme, Black Peppercorns, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves, Walnuts, and Oranges.
They probably overdid it and need to tone it down a bit now.
Tick the option ‘Promote skill target’. I think this is what you want.
I’m offline now, but I seem to recall there is an option in the video settings regarding animations. Look it up and see if that helps you.
Wow, never imagined something digital can get sold out…
