Power does always have DR. If you add 100 power to 916 Power (base), thats about 11% damage increase. If you add 100 power to 3000 power, it’s just a 3% increase.
I can’t answer any questions on toughness and vitality because those stats are purely useless in dungeons.
If his aftercast is already over and you’re still out of “safety range” you better pedal a few crumble steps backwards until he closes up. Be ready to dodge single-target projectiles, though.
You will still get trapped since the bubble spawns exactly on you, even in a dodgeroll (if you aren’t exactly in him or out of 600 range).
Also, he doesn’t care if you are moving away or towards him. It’s based on your range to him and if you’re moving or not in general.
Question: would Steal get you out? iirc there’s a bit of distance between Lupi & the bubble, so if steal doesn’t get blocked you could use it as an escape.
You should save steal to get underneath him after he raises in the air.

No, it does hit you if the red circle is still there. But once the circle is gone and he starts to drop, you should Steal back to him and keep up the standing still underneath him.
That sounds a bit suicidal to me. If you are inside his red circle and he isn’t at a wall or attempts to move away from you, he will use single target projectiles.
And those single target projectiles actually don’t have a minimum range but some kind of a grey zone from ~90 to ~350 units away from him. Stealing inside him and not moving out will result in lupicus splahing his projectiles exactly in your face.

I’ve been solo/duoing arah p2 and p3 and selling spots to people in the last few days. Legit runs, lupi killed and all.
Some people would just randomly whisper me and say they’d report me for scamming. Probably happened about 3 or more times in the last 4 days.
Are you the one paying people money to help at lupi? I just ask because you’re kind of the only seller who is not skipping lupicus (which is a good thing).
I’ve lately even been reported for giving away spots on AC runs with a side note “some tip is appreciated”. Just don’t take those kittens serious.

Rules: Anything and everything profession specific is allowed. Racial skills and Mistfire Wolf aren’t. Ember’s and Ogre Pet whistles are allowed to take the grub, but are not allowed to do damage. No boosters (gem store or living story items), all other food allowed. Pre combat-stacking allowed, but only solo. Food changing during the kill allowed.
Alpha has a pretty kitten huge target circle. You mostlikely won’t even need a wall to land all 70 hits and instantly burst him to less than 50% HP.

I guess bosses who never drop anything continue dropping nothing whereas all bosses who previously dropped something (even if just a blue) now additionally drop a loot bag.
I got kicked out of a pug after they wiped on Lupicus and I solo’d phase 2 and 3 with my Mesmer. Through the whole fight they spammed chat telling me to wipe so we could retry and for me to stop slowing them down, and once I killed Lupicus I saw the loading screen. I didn’t even get the chest :/

In my Arah p3 on NA servers with pugs i’ve almost been kicked for going for Hunter instead of Crusher first. They all made jokes of me being a firsttimer, not even watching brazil’s videos, until they died on ranging lupicus.
Brazil, do something about that! They would have all died by poison if i did not kill the hunter!
Serious question: how do you complete CoE path 3 without dodging even once? Subject Alpha’s earth and ice attacks are pretty devastating if they hit and it seems like it would be pretty hard to avoid both without using any dodges at all…
As someone already stated before there isn’t one optimal setup for all content. The “optimal party composition” differs from path to path, if there even exists one.
We probably won’t ever have. Those who apply to us must be able of solo’ing some game encounters anyway if they don’t provide other things like cookies n beer.
There isn’t really competition between HC and DS (i’ve been in both, left HC a few days ago because they didn’t fit my main expectations for a guild) because we both aim for completely different goals. HC is a great guild for doing dungeons overall, DS aims on getting runs of specific content as efficient done as possible before participating in other content.
For some it’s important to have teamspeak, dungeon master and fractal level 40+ to actively participate in whatever the guild does. Our requirements are almost only based on player’s skill and mentality, for our playing purposes having above listed things just isn’t important.
Last one has now been done by us (DS) because we saw a lot improvement possible for phase 1. Have been unlucky with RNG though and will improve further later.
