Has anyone completed the Giant Slayer achievement, ive been playing since August and I only have 6/10 giant kills, Ive killed loads in orr, is it bugged?

All this talk about Red Guard. Never had the chance to fight them and would REALLY love to get the chance as I have very high confidence in being able to beat them on their terms.

However Red Guard is a completely worthless guild as for as I can tell, when they came to my server Jade Quarry all they did was take up valuable WvW slots they do nothing for the PPT and in general I would rather have PuGs on my map than them.

As far as best guild/server I wonder who would win between Vizunah Square and Jade Quarry right now I bet it would be an awesome week of WvW. Both server have been T1 forever.

VS by at least a 30k margin

I think most people are going by the best “Arena” guild with 20-30 people on each side in an open field fight. RG are the best ive seen at that.

I hope Anet do something like this all the best fighting guilds from EU and NA in a knockout competition

Congratulate bandwagons servers to have defeated us with NA players and massive use of real exploit bug for one of them ? (i swear you that a destroyable trebuchet in safe zone is a cute exploit beside to what we saw against them).

No one on Deso uses zoom hack.. not a single person.. we know about it of course, but have enough decency to not use what is considered by every other server to be a hack/exploit.

What open field fights? VS doesnt fight in the open, when they do they die..

ER is a lot more enjoyable to combat, in general better organisation as well, that being said stacking heavy amounts of defensive siege is only clever, the fact that you need to rely on it, well it says more about the people staying in range of it than VS as a server.
But when it comes to fighting? Nah VS aint enjoyable as an opponent for that, id much rather be stuck with SFR then.

Red Guard has an excellent reputation on the EU servers, there definitely up there with the best of them.

We are most probably not. Neither clean nor sure. The difference is in attitude.

If I see anything like that on our side I won’t just pass by and then post “whiners whiners hahaha” messages in reply to opponents complaints who noticed that guy too. I’d acknowledge the problem and would make everyhing to get that kitten banned in the first place.

Several time ago, i took some screens of deso abusing of some bugs, i didn’t post it, why ? because i just reported them, i don’t need to make a drama on the forum in order to give a bad reputation to a server…
What i mean is we can’t control the whole server, there will ever be cheaters, that’s why nobody should generalize… We just have to report them, from both sides.

The perfect match-up for me would be a match-up where nobody is trying to discredit the other, where the servers would respect themselves…After all, each server in T1 has his own history, victories, and i think deserve to be in T1.
It’s too easy to point out the behavior of one person and to say that the whole server cheat.

We were always gonna lose a load of points through the weekdays, we always have.

Yet another attack ruined by an arrow cart user. Comeon Viz pls stop these guys. I commanded on Viz border alot yesterday, throughout the day and early evening. Every time we were hugged up against the north or south wall of Sunny the arrow carts in the courtyard were hitting us. Not once but every kitten time. I should not have to stop one form of attack due to this.

I see alot of people complaining about there 100% completion because of WvW…So why dont Anet just do random colours, so if you finish 3rd you can be green, finish 2nd you can be red etc. I dont see much difference what colour you are in WvW.

I dont understand out of every class in this game Ele’s…Yes I repeat Ele’s need nerfing, its a kittening a disgrace.

In some areas (e.g. Bavaria, Zurich, …) school-kids have winter/ski holiday now. (some areas already had them, some will have them later, some areas don’t have them et al)
For worker there is currently no official holidays in Germany, but there is Carnival. In some regions of Germany people may (depend on your boss) have free.

Currently Swiss Students have their lecture-free time, I think next week German students will start their lecture-free time. (No idea about Austrians)

So yes, some (but not many) more german-speaking available to play at times where they usually have to work.

Elona have been excellent this week I thought you were dreadful last week, open field fighting, defending, attacking bases has been superb, good fights.

VS some brilliant open field fights with you guys, you see VS you can fight when you want, you dont have to hide (joke)

Can anyone remember blizzard doing the same with mages, nerfing them in the burning crusade, because of pvp, but they were weak as kitten in pve because of these nerfs. from glass cannon to just glass, to become the worst and most pointless class in the game,

I hope thats not gonna happen here, Im not gonna be using a class thats gonna be cannon fodder, not this time.

Happened to Deso this morning in SM, about 2k supplies got wasted, not sure what Anet can do to stop this though.

I dont think they will drop to tier 2, even if they came 3rd, unless the winner of tier 2 gets a massive score, which looks like a close match atm.

I think Viz will start racking up the points through the week days.

if there gonna nerf ele’s they have to nerf warriors, guardians, thieves and mesmers, or there will be no point in using ele’s.

From what ive seen this week, it seems we (Deso) really struggle between 7am -12 pm (GMT). Desolation’s night teams do an excellent job gaining points, during the night the scores seem to be even between VS and Deso during these times.

Keep them in your bank, you never know, we might get to use them next year

Sensible decision, would of been nice to play some new servers, but a lot of them would of been mis-matches.

The people complaining about Anets decision making, you do realise they have listened to the majority of the WvW players on this forum? Thats why its been changed back to the original scores……….Right move Anet.

Just happened again Viz go QL and Elona get Durios, if elona are so worried about Viz point gain, attack one of there towers.

The only time you attack Durios is when Viz are attacking Quntin Lake, elona done that 4 times today, so if your so worried about Viz getting more points try and take one of there towers instead, you’ve done no damage to Viz in this match up, awful

Go node farming and do events on the way, you end up with a tidy sum of gold if you do it daily
