Played the 1st week, then just went in and done my wvw achievements, considering we played sfr 3 times out of the 4 weeks, just made it a waste of time.

Worse than the other 2 seasons, which I didnt think was possible to get any worse, not many on unless I go to EB.

As for recruiting… we are only actively recruiting ONE NA based guild of about 20 players… so that we have a bit more organisation between 3am-5am GMT when Deso have their 60+ garri and ebg keep golem rush. At the moment we have 15 people fighting ROCK, GH, and pugs.

Even with a single NA guild we will be outnumbered against the Deso night cap… but we don’t need equal or more numbers to beat Deso during the night… 15 of us can hold garrison against 60+ Deso with omegas… 35 of us can hold the borderland and ebg.

So 15 hold the Garrison and the other 35 get a 500 tick going at 3am for 3 hrs?? Against 60+ Deso players?? And at 3am Deso were ticking on 10 points, with 60+ players? Yeah righto

I could transfer to SFR for easy wins and kills, but i wouldnt, I might turn out like Ins and come out with BS comments and statements. That server seems to have that effect on players.

I see Ins has caught the sfr Bullkitten disease, moving to a server with 60+ all the time doesnt make you special

Would just like to set the record straight here, in case people are getting the wrong impression of Dius.
First of all we do not have a minimum WvW kill requirement, I don’t remember ever quoting a number like 150k for our members, it’s possible that most of our members are sitting in the region between 100 and 200k Kills but we also have few who are below this mark, we don’t judge an application based solely on the amount of kills, as it’s not an accurate representation of skill. However when you apply to a WvW focused guild, with only 5k kills and 100 rank, that suggests you haven’t spent long enough in the game to attain the required level of experience and knowledge of play we would expect from an average member. We’re not the type of guild looking to take in fairly new players and introduce them to a tougher style of WvW, we’re looking to take veteran players who have a good understanding of the raid and could further our guild.

As for the next, I did indeed say I was looking for members with GvG history, this is because we’re looking to try promote ourselves in the GvG scene, and as such it’s important for our members to already have experience under the conditions we’ll be facing, those who have spent the past year running in high end competitive play will usually perform better than those for which have first set foot in that game mode, we’re not the first guild to do this, I hardly think it’s unfair we ask people to be familiar with an area we’re looking to specialize in.

As for being the top D/D Ele, this is partly true, If we’re looking to be competitive we want players of a skill level that they would be considered one of the best in their class, we have 2 very good D/D eles already, so if we were to even consider taking another they would have to not only be better on an individual basis than our current members, but also good enough that we would consider replacing players who already know how we operate and the intricacies of our play style.

Hopefully this cleared everything up, so you had an idea from our point of view, I’m not saying you are not a capable player, but we have no real need as a guild to take you in as a trial member to try work on your performance.

Week 15:
Friday at 15:25, Deso is 4800 points ahead Baruch. And, in the most epic and amazing afternoon I’ve ever experienced, we manage to catch Deso and finally win them for just 396 points.
From those ~4800, only 2700 were from ticks. The control of ruins was astonishing, not letting Deso to have the buff.
Don’t know why, but around 17:00 Deso forgot about ruins and they let the epicness to be real.

You mean the ruins that SFR were guarding them you? And wouldnt let us take control of any of the ruins to let bb keep them, you double teamed with them every match up, you ruined the gold league, no surprise that you and sfr are 1st and 2nd at the end #yawn

The problem with EU wvw is sfr the most stacked server around, teams up with the 3rd place server (mainly Baruch Bay), making 6 of the 9 rounds mind numbingly boring.

Why you double teaming with bb again? Any reason for it?

Bottom line is you cant have a league when you dont fight everybody, this Swiss crap is so boring, same servers every week.

Fighting the same servers nearly every week I think alot of people have called it a day, and theres still 2 more weeks

Its kinda sad to see all other EU servers than Deso so scared of SFR they dont want to focus them, they are afraid that SFR will wipe them and their stuff..

Some calculations about the end scores on Tournament:
Deso should lose this week, to drop tier2 to get ‘easy’ win there and lose next time the tier1 also to get easy tier2, this way it would get end points of 29 on this tournament and make 2nd place. (yay the swiss-style)

Compared to finishing 2nd this week, deso needs to finish atleast 1 more time 2nd on tier1 to gain same points. or keep finishing 2nd everyweek to make the same 12 points from 4 matchups.

tbh those tier2 matchups are alot nicer to play in.

Other way would be to aim and do the best to win this tier1 matchup, otherwise its just about the 3 last weeks that dermites the standings. without that its just waste of time and siege and will just feed the forum trolls.

well look at what happened to deso today cause they golem rushed all our stuff at 5am and we were slacking so we 100% focus them now and keep everything they have paper all morning, prime and night deso say we double team them in previous matchups but we only had 50% focus on them but now they made us seriously focus them

A lecture off sfr player on golem rushes, you do it every morning when were outmanned.

Deso is the only server that attacks you, the other servers seem kitten scared, so you have a cry when we take your keeps or Garri, then get the other server to help take all our stuff.
Everyone knows what your doing, and the most embarrassing thing about it, you come on the forums and deny it.

@gensokyo It wasn’t pretty on BB Bordrerlands I have to admit, we had too many Squishies. Too much match-up talk.

And don’t listen to people saying we’re giving up already due to past events, most of Deso is going to try to Fight and Compete. The only problem is we lost quite alot of our Population after the initial Tournament influx, which may be alot of PVE’ers but you know strength in numbers is quite important in WvW.

noones given up on the league, just this week,its just alot of people find it pointless fighting these 2, when the match would be rigged anyway. You just have to read this thread to see how many angry sfr players there are.

Deso has the best pve and spvp players so we cant be the best server at everything

God, is this still going on, we got double teamed from 11.30 onwards, it happens when you play sfr, and they’ll do it again next time we play them, its just the way they are, at least we have some new teams to play this week

OP is wrong. I’m on SFR and been WvW’ing most of this afternoon. This is how it really went down. A few tags decided they wanted Deso to come 2nd, because they thought that Deso would be more challenging for the next match up. They therefore helped Deso suppress BB by leaving Deso alone and hitting BB assets only. There was no agreement. Personally I and a few others thought this was dumb, but they went ahead anyway. Eventually those commanders tag off, and others tagged up some time after and thought it made no sense to help Deso, and let BB and Deso duke it out without interference. They were not far from each other in points in the end, and I think BB, just got it. Credit to BB, they came back from 4000 points behind Deso this morning.

Running arround whit 40 Guildblob + Randoms or 2-3 guild running together not respect fights GuildvsGuild does not make you popular.

sfr have always double teamed with someone they tried it with JS last week. no respect at all for letting a server like bb come 2nd

I wouldnt let it get to you, BB were really poor this week considering they spent there whole holidays trying to get 2nd with 40+ zergs on each map all week, and they still needed help

Could they not leave the capital cities as “home” servers, just use the fighting areas for megaservers

Were fighting SFR now in the match up and they’ve had to team up with JS to win, Blackgate would wipe the floor with SFR, its actually worrying these are the number 1 server in the EU

Whatever the outcome in this league, can i just say the team work and some of the best commanders around (my opinion) we can win this, everybody just join in, help out whether its 3am or 3pm, get your backsides in the battles, everybody is welcome, it does not matter about your level, Deso will guide you

Never had problems when ive levelled up, got 7 level 80’s and always seen people around

Alot of overflows in the Living story events, but for world bosses, champ farming and levelling your characters there’s always people around.
