We shouldn’t be point fingers at Evon or Kiel, even if Kiel was voted in. The consortium were the ones that were rebuilding LA. I believe, it is fitting of their crime, that we have public execution of whoever is the head of the consortium!
I just started doing this same thing today! I already have two and I’ve only played for about 3 hours.
Ive had about 30 error messages just in the last 3 hours, and its the same one every time. when I select my toon and hit play it goes to the loading screen and then comes up with code=7:11:3:191:101 and then just sits on the loading screen and I have to force quit. The game worked find yesterday and for the past 2 years. I have submitted a ticket however I doubt they will get to it till next month… since I can’t log in to play guess ill take break.
I believe it shows “full” because its full of players that are currently logged in. Usually you can look at odd hours to transfer. At least this was how it was a year ago when I transferred to TC. I had to wait till like 3am pst for the server to not be full.
This question has come up multiple times, and they haven’t said anything about it. From the trailer, it looks like there was 10-15 players doing the event. Im sure with more people it would scale a lot higher. I don’t think they will really about the process of claiming because from the lifestream it sounds like there is a story behind why we’re taking it.
YES! would love to see this as an option. There are so many minis to pick from and i would love to show more of them off.
Im always part of one guild for this and a few other reasons that seem to be going away with HoT. Nicely done Anet and I can’t wait to play HoT!

They could very well still announce a release date. I can’t think of a better time then now at E3 with all the press that surrounds it, and they might even get some new players to hop on board.
Since this is the case the best route to take is to add to the fractal vendor 1 pristine relic for 15 normal relics, or at least i hope they do this.
Pristine relics are a way to time-gate items that require them for purchase. I doubt we’ll see a 2-way conversion because of that.
I wasn’t talking about a 2 way conversion. pristine to normal, thats it. since right now you can already double click pristine and get 15 normal, as other have pointed out in this thread.

On topic: Yes there is no point in fighting each other, and because of point number two you don’t even need to fight mid, which is weird you can’t interrupt considering spirit watch with orb you can interrupt the channeling. I personally think they need to stop making these games types/maps with bunch of other objectives. If its conquest focus on points not a dumb orb or an op gun. Hope they get rid of this game mode.

1. Balance: A lot of players have mentioned it, and have said the reasons why.
2. Numbers: It needs a crowd. Be popular. Have a casual audience that is interested in the game because more people watching means more companies/big sports teams (EG, C9, Liquid, etc.) will want to sponsor the tournament/have a team in it. Thus having money flowing in these tournaments means more people will want to enter to get said money.
3. New game modes: This is one that will draw more people because not everyone likes conquest, but these game modes will only be good and draw that crowd if the map has good design. For example, Courtyard, fun game mode, poor map design (and if they are going to bring a new game mode, they need to have a few maps for it).
I don’t think they release what they changed, if they do it will be on the day the beta is going on.
I like the sound of the dishonorable system. Was there any reason given why it was removed?
No, it was LoF, BoK, and CY. Even if it was SH idk why people leave. if they don’t like the maps in unranked, go play ranked.
Edit: they were also tagged up, so i don’t think they took pvp very seriously.

While your at it, make it so you can view it in game. Its annoying to come to the site just to view the LB while I’m playing. Plus, most casual people probably don’t even know there is a LB, and could make more people wanting to play and get better to be on the LB, thus increase the player base of pvp.
Today I have ran into a player three times, quitting all three times, and Im sure there are more people out there that does this. Is there no punishment for leaving a game? If a player had to wait 15-20 min for quitting or sit through the rest of a crappy game, I hope they would pick sticking around and finish the game out. Its annoying and ruins the experience when people do this, ranked or unranked.

Had an all necro team yesterday. LOL they got wrecked! I wish they would put mesmer into the mix more.
Why isn’t emotes affected by suppression, but everything else in the game is? Im tired of the people spamming it in HoTM. I know you can just block them, but when people have those weird accents on the names it makes it a bit hard to block.
I think this would be great for the small guilds, considering the higher tier missions can be pretty hard to do. I hope they will talk about the future of guilds and the guild halls soon.
Get more bag space and have the copper-o-matic salvage kit. I just a have 100 slots and have plenty of room to run a few runs without going through my bags.
As far as your suggestion, I think it would unbalance the economy because most people would check this box thus causing the low tier mats to go up in price. Drop rate would decrease while demand stays the same. Or at least thats what I think would happen.
I always wonder about these topics, has said OP every really played all professions, or are they just regurgitating what other have said about dungeon running.
I’ve played all professions in all dungeons and can say they all work, some faster than others, but never would I venture a necessity to imagine discriminating against a profession, if anything this “tool” would let Anet know which class needs further scrutiny.
I wonder the same thing. All classes have different roles, and some are better than others but, not a huge difference to turn away certain professions. It’s more about the players ability to play their profession and knowledge of the dungeon.
Im trying to report some of the bugs I am experiencing with the in game bug report but, everything in the drop down menu is just numbers, I.E. ((483552)). only a few options show up as words.
Yes, this is also happening to me as well. I am running on a mac. hope they can get this fixed.
Edit: I have discovered that you have to turn “Mac Beta: Use scrolling gestures to change direction” off and use the mouse wheel to zoom all the way in. if you only have a track pad you wont be able to do this , even if you turn off the option.

One thing I could see going wrong is that everyone will just pass through it and everyone leaves, not capping it. Expecting someone else to do it for them, but i guess that would be their loss. Although they may have had it this way to reward the player(s) that stayed and capped it, so what if it was 5 points for passing through and 10 if you stay and cap. This way player(s) still get points, but rewarding the player(s) that stayed. Just a suggestion.

If you go to the top sticky of the PVP thread “New to pvp? start here!” there are some twitch channels and youtube channels you can take a look at.
I think if they cancel it should just keep searching for the 10th person. I have only had one experience with a game that started as 4v5, but after a minute or two into the game there was suddenly a 5th person on our team. There was only 4 on the board and 4 in the starting area, or unless it took them 3-4 minutes to load in. is it possible for someone to get put into a game that has already started/just begun?
Edit: just wanted to say, I don’t mind sitting in HotM when queing because in unranked you can find a match with in a minute, which doesn’t give much time to farm stuff, or do anything really. Thats just from my experience with it so far.

I have only play courtyard once, and well, the match was very unbalanced, but that may have been due to the skill level and/or classes brought to the table. we were just camped under their spawn point killing them. I wonder if being able to have multiple spawn points would make it better/more interesting, or be able to flip spawns when you die right under your spawn location to many times.
I like deathmatch, and I hope they bring more maps to it. I would keep them medium to small maps, as large maps can get a bit boring because fights wouldn’t happen to often, and when thats all the game type is based on, well yeah. more fights = more entertainment, both from a spectator view and player view.
I was just thinking about this and was going to make a thread about it. I was also thinking be able to see stats from any of the pervious matches (could be the last 10 games) while in HotM, i.e. kills, captures, defends, etc. It seems like after the game has ended it kicks you pretty quickly and I would like to see my stats. Being able to view the leaderboard In game would be nice.
Edit: Be able to see the pvp reward sub tracks(the stuff between each major reward) in the rewards tab.

The only way I see it coming out of “Beta” is if they make a native client, and I don’t see that happening.
I believe this was brought up when Anet did the Guild CDI’s a while back.
I like this idea, but don’t limit it to each map. Someone also made the suggestion of turning team chat, in wvw, to be across all four maps for your server. This way if you need help on a map, wvw or pve, you can ask there.
Yes, please fix this. The old way was working just fine. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Thought of this idea last night while watching Fairy Tail.
Guild Jobs
Proposal Overview: ?A board where members can go to, inside the guildhall, and accept jobs for rewards.
Goal of Proposal?: A new, fresh, way to tell short stories and lore that’s hidden throughout Tyria, as well as brings guild members closer together.
Proposal Functionality: ?Guild jobs would be unlocked via the Guild Upgrade system. There would be several tiers, lower ones will only cost influence and offer smaller reward (this could be items, commendations, money, karma, and influence) as these aren’t as hard to do. For example ‘Defeat X monster’ or ’ Help Y person’ or ‘Find Z item’. Higher tiers would cost influence + Merits and the job would have a better rewards, but these would be harder and may have a challenge to them, such as a timer or may be very time consuming (more steps involved). Before accepting it there would be a recommended party size 1-5, and accepted jobs would appear in the sidebar, like events or personal story. I suggest putting a cap on how many you could do in a day, but if you want to do more your guild would still get influence. A new set of achievements and titles could be added, such as ‘do X amount of jobs’ (could become part of daily and monthly) or ones for completing a certain job.
Associated Risks?: None
P.S. If Jobs hands out 1 commendation (higher tiers may offer more) the vendor prices could go up and possibly add new items.
This happen to me today.
Try making the item itself and consuming it… that might be what you need to do.
I didn’t have to craft the item for “Recipe: Feast of Spicy Lime Steaks” I just had to consume the recipe. Has the OP found a solution to this?
Similar to Yifang.8260. I am now afraid to open TP because 50% of the time my client freezes and I have to force quit Guild Wars 2. Sometimes the box pops up and sometimes it just freezes. It seems that it’s random and I haven’t noticed any consistence (besides closing it when nothing loads) when it freezes. I’ve had it happen in multiple maps and using shortcut [O], the logo at the top, and talking to the TP person.

I just wanted to chime in and say I am NOT IN FAVOR of these ideas:
- Representing multiple guilds simultaneously
- Ending representation
- Earning influence for multiple guilds simultaneously
- Reducing the number of guilds you can join
- Completely doing away with build queues (as queues are one of the few ways small guilds can keep up with large guilds)
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask.. but can I ask why you’re not in favor of items 1, 2 and 3?
If you’re not in favor of them, you could always ask that your members only be in one guild.
You sure can! I should start by stating that I’m a guild leader and my guild does not have a 100% rep policy. In fact, we even have several ally guilds with whom we often do activities/cross represent.
So why am I opposed to these things?
Why Representing Multiple Guilds Simultaneously Is Bad
I think it’s important to distinguish between the act of representing and the additional results of that action. Representing, specifically, means that you wear the guild tag of a guild. Period. The other things – guild chat, buffs, influence gain, etc – are tied to that representation, but the representation itself is just a matter of choosing which guild tag you wear.
It’d be silly to let people wear 5 guild tags at the same time, in my opinion, so I come down on the line of only representing one guild.
Why Ending Representation/Multi-influence is Bad
There’s two ways to accomplish this: ending everything about representation except it functioning as a way to choose which guild tag you wear (I call this “ending representation in name only”) and fully ending representation. I get the feeling most people here think you should still be able to choose a guild tag to wear, so I’ll argue against the former.
To me, the purpose of guilds is to build community. That community could be small or it could be large. Certainly players can participate in many communities at the same time, but my worry is that allowing buffs/influence gain from non-represented guilds means that non-social, buffs-only guilds become the norm.

The important question I have is WHY people want to end representation. My hunch is that people 1) want free influence for their bank guild and 2) want to join guilds that require 100% rep for buffs or special events without having to actually rep the guild.
Just wanted to say I agree. If you rep multiple guilds then the allegiance aspect of being with a guild is gone. As for #3 (reducing the number of guilds you can join) I think having multiple guilds is fine as I have my bank one, my IRL friends, and my main. I Pick one depending on who I want to talk to or doing certain events. What about those whose communities are bigger than limit? those guild leaders and officers wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on their multiple guilds. As TimmyF said, you can have 100% rep policy if you want your members to only rep your guild, and how do you keep an eye on that? well there has been several suggestions, which is a last rep column.
I personally love the teq/triple level of difficulty. I love the teamwork and the organization that goes on. The only thing is spamming into a map that is organized, it would be great if we could spawn guild maps or have a commander create a map for their squad to join in on.

I agree with OP. I find the outmanned buff pretty useless. Having the buff scale our pvt would be nice, even if its just a little bit.
Since Anet rolled out the megasever, in PVE, severs don’t matter anymore, so why don’t they merge all servers into 3 servers for wvw. you could take a server from each tier and combine them. For example, JQ, SOS, CD, SBI, HOD, NSP, EB, and SOR (maybe look at the scores/numbers and determine merges that way); this would make one server. The only issue would be maps/ques, so maybe add more maps and make them bigger, then increase the cap.
This probably the best way to somewhat bring back wvw since it sounds like lower tiers don’t have much of a wvw community and can be fairly lopsided in scores. Also, could help against stacking for a while anyway, until someone decides to buy people, which will never end.
Anywho, this is just my thoughts on the subject.
Same noticed it today. I have 96 from luck and 4 from achievements = 100, but under the attributes it only shows 96. Note I don’t have any banners/food/infusions/etc.
If only I saw this earlier. If your gonna do it this Friday you can sign me up!
I love playing my Ranger, but due to the community dictating how I play I have switched to Guardian…. Why must people be such jerks in dungeons. Its just a game and if you think one ranger is going to pull your group down, maybe you should look at the rest of the group.
