Is there any chance of Spider Queen being reverted in this case? It had a poison attack it would cast at range, and people could melee to prevent it. This was changed so that the queen used it regardless of proximity which reduced the depth of the encounter.

This is not a bug, because those compendiums were posted before they became account bound. They were left there in hopes of a sale because if they cancelled the post, they’d have to keep it because upon transition to the inventory, it becomes account bound.
I think it’s time to fix the (water)gate scandal. The easiest fix would be a LoS checking whether that LoS would cross obstructing, non-walkable meshes.

Go play Eve Online if you want that. This is not something that should be in GW2 (Open PvP).
But I agree towards the implementation of alliances and alliance chat because there are guild so large they had to split in order to grow further.
You get the gems instantly. Check your inventory (lower left) or the BLTC window. There’s no mail involved.
Sometimes it takes a relog to refresh the count.
The issue is that advertising a survey ingame can be seen as intrusive. People want to play, not want to answer questions.
Of course there could be methods to gamify a survey ingame, but unless it turns out to be profitable, i think it would be skipped by most.

1080p@5 Mbit/s would yield a size of 375 MB for 10 Minutes (at the same compression parameters you used for 4K). Youtube seems to downsample the 4K content anyway for the 1080p mode, so you can save bandwidth by doing that locally already.

And concerning tag griefing: 2-4 commander per map would finally start to make sense, and yes I am convinced that WvW would be better if that happens. More strategic choices and bettwe fights.

Hmm… tag griefing gets a new meaning that way.
Do you have similar distortions in other shader-heavy games (Alternative: Try Minecraft. It uses OpenGL 2.0 but uses shaders for textures in similar ways)? If yes, it might be your GPU slowly dying because the selection circle as well as the shadows are purely rendered by shaders.
Your GPU driver is a bit old but appropiate considering your GPU’s age. Updating it won’t have any effects because the support for the 7000 Series has been phased out.
What you can also try is disabling any overriding method for Anti-Aliasing and Mip-Mapping (Set these to application controlled). Set your Texture Quality in the nVidia control panel to “High Quality”. “High Performance” might boost your FPS but may lead to pixelation issues.

Intentionally failing an event for a better reward contradicts the mechanical intentions of dynamic events and is thus exploiting.
Red and Green cannot be discerned by some clearly and clean.
To prevent confusion by colorblind people, I do actually NOT recommend a green tag.
I also do not recommend the use of an orange tag because it cannot be discerned from the blue tag by some blue/orange colorblind people.
Actually, this might be why ArenaNet did not include a green color.

You can try to force windowed mode using -windowed to see whether it is an issue with full screen.
The issue itself can have multiple origins, such as the GPU’s driver or an overlay (Steam Overlay, Overwolf of TS3, Raptr, Streaming capturers) interfering with the D3D HAL in a way GW2 cannot cope with.
15+ Charrs say it’s discussed too often already.

GW2 uses the Awesomnium Engine for in-game web browsing (The BLTC is a website actually). Are you sure you didn’t block awesomnium.exe in your firewall?
Also make sure that the Internet Explorer (which is used internally by Awesomnium) is in online mode.

I had this issue twice in a short time-frame while logging elder wood logs on a female norn warrior. However, setting animation quality to low seemed to fix that issue for me.
During boss fight 3 people had strange lags and disconnected at low hp, managed to finish boss in 2, when rest logged in final cinematicss didnt play and we got stuck.
This is the culprit. The 3 people relogging managed to crash the cinematic firing script by logging into the instance right at the moment the cinematic should fire, causing an undefined state and thus the script crash.
That sounds like a plausible explanation of how the bug got triggered, but … as players, we shouldn’t have to worry about when we try to recover after DCing.
Such a coincidence is extremely rare though because of the microscopic timeframe you have to “exploit” that. A precursor drop is more likely to happen than such a coincidence.
This is perfectly normal for current laptop models, because manufacturers seem to save on PSU efficieny (or the power supply specification reaches the maximum deliverable). Because your laptop needs more power than it’s PSU (which is external) can deliver, it taps additional power from your battery. Most gaming laptops do this. You can see a similar behavior by playing a battery taxing game on your smartphone while it is charging.
You can throttle this behavior by the following methods:
1. Lower graphic details ingame
2. Throttle your CPU via BIOS overclocking tools by underclocking it.
3. Throttle your GPU using the GPU tweaking tools of your GPU manufacturer by lowering core and shader as well as memory clocks.

If you bought GW2 recently, please wait a few days before trying again.
Are you trying to install GW2 on a non-NTFS or non-ExFAT formatted drive? If that is the case, then yes, it won’t work because the GW2.dat is far beyond the 4 GB file size limit of FAT32.
Beyond minimum setting (and even that bad)? Nope.
Have you done this JP with a different character? If yes, then this is probably the issue because achievements count account-wide.

1st: This is normal and natural, you’re behind a NAT.
2nd: Multiboxing and Multiaccounting is allowed in GW2 as long as you still play all accounts manually without any multi-action macros or bots.
NOTE: Key broadcasting by any means is officially forbidden.
Hold Alt Key, drag the stack, then you’ll be asked to how much you want to split. (NOTE: Only works in your inventory)
Alternative: If you know a friend who also has GW2, have him copy over the GW2.dat

Forget it, for two reasons:
- Those being able to do it easily cost 4-digits in euros.
- It’s not advisable regarding the Shader work the GW2 graphics engine puts about – if the CPU can handle it in time (which the laptop versions certainly can not due to being throttled for thermal reasons) – on the GPU. Your laptop will fall apart due to heating issues.

This could be seen as a pay to win, buying $50 worth of Gems, trade for gold, getting a level 80 character, fully decked in gear.
Which will become more expensive the more players do Gems → Gold because the more gems are converted, the less gold they’ll yield.
