If you play with a party, and someone on your team deserts then everyone in the party will take a full loss worth of ladder standing regardless of outcome.

But… why?

We had such situation few weeks ago: full team queue, one of our members can’t enter the match at all. His game crashed and he couldn’t come online till the end of the game. Connection error etc. 4v5 full match. Anyway we put big effort and won this match with 4 people. Now you telling me if it happens now this will count as a loss? How is this fair?

This means if someone of your party disconnects, you should just stop trying? Please rethink this.

Okay false alarm, false alarm.
Changing characters didn’t help, but logging out and back in did.

It has just disappeared from my menu. There is no arena in “My custom Arenas”.

I still can enter it, because it has 1 month time added, but now I can’t add time and even can’t see time remaining. Can’t change anything, just like this is not my arena. Still my name sits there as an owner.

Any ideas?

and “Professional PvP guild”, but never seen them on forums, just have met their teams in PvP. They look more like ReVo, you can meet good and bad [tPvP] teams.

Oh, we usually play evenings, about 6-11 pm GMT. Sometimes more. Sometimes not. But something like this. Every evening. Like right now.

Perpetual Motions Squad [PMS] is a new formed team, although the 3 current members play together for very long time. Now we want to find 2 more people with the same mindset like us and after we stick together as a team, to go for some ESL tourneys maybe.

Our current roster is:
Impact – thief (23, UK)
Vindex – mesmer (20, Belgium)
Eyia – guardian (23, Bulgaria)

The classes we’re looking for are:
- elementalist
- celestial engineer or sword/ warhorn warrior
And this should be your main class.

The players we’re looking for should have:
- good knowledge about their classes and the role of their classes in PvP
- calm temper, no rage quitters, no sexists, racists or cat owners!
- teamspeak and good communication skills

You don’t need to be pro, but keen and willing to learn and improve with us, as we are not pro either. We need active people, who will show commitment. We’ll play (almost) every day and will work actively on the improving of our team.

Actually, not that weird, I just had about 5 mins delay of the game messages and that’s how I was told to hold on to my points in the middle of the game.
The problem was resolved by restarting the game.

Darn I was sure I’d read somewhere that it used the highest rating. By the time I can see the map I can also see others in the team apparently there before me, but perhaps we all arrived within milliseconds of each other.

There’s a few people from my guild ranked high on the boards, who I know are lower MMR (because of the “Team <name> VS. <name>” announcements taking my name over their’s)

No Impact, it was clarified a week ago, the team gets the name of the first person who join the team. I personally don’t doubt you’re better player than them, but the team getting your name does not mean you’re the person with the highest MMR.

Seeing as we have NO N U M B E R S to support or deny anything said here, I can safely say NO. A GOOD statistic involves, at a minimum, 10,000 test subjects. Millions is MUCH better. So at a minimum we’re about 9,980 people short of any statistical conclusion.

3 level 80 – norn (my main), sylvari and asura, and one human I’m leveling atm.
But I also deleted 1 level 80 guardian.

OP – exactly my thoughts today while trying to decide if to drop AH for 4 in virtues and to use my favorite ToC. Elite focus in Honor will make ways more sense.

Yeah it announced the name of one of my teammates so many times, that finaly I decided it sounds really nice for a team name and I’m about to create a team with his name.

Btw do you know about this bug. I haven’t reported it, because I don’t think it’s that important and I’m not sure how to explain it correctly, my English is not that good.

If there are 3 or more people from one guild, it announces it for both sides, like when we play 3 people from our guild + 2 randoms against a full pug team, it announces “Team Revolution incoming vs Team Revolution incoming”.

Then if I hover the mouse on the blue and the red icon on the top of the screen, it says for both “your team”. Or for both “the opposite team”. I’m not sure how it was “help your team to increase the points” or something like this. It might be not a big deal, but before this helped me to remember what color was my team in case I have forgotten.
