Guys… They said they’ll introduce the new leaderboards (beta version!) on the 16th. Then someone checking for unknown reason the leaderboards, see something that we’re not even supposed to see and the arguments begin. They are still working on it, what about some patience?

Also I just checked my friendlist on the leaderboards, I know the skill level of every single person there. Comparing their skill level PLUS their activity recently, everything looks fair to me.

Yesterday the opposite team made 5 votes for Skyhammer and we got it. They had 2 engies, 2 necros and a mesmer. They lost 500-75. I was wondering why you’d vote for a specific map if you don’t know how to play on it.

Alberto is right. Happened to me 2 days ago, while defending a point I was thrown suddenly and without warning to the base of the opposite team. I didn’t see a message for auto-balance, or option for volunteering. After the game I got no bonus points and missed my AP for 25 matches won as engineer.

It’s very nice of you to defend your guildmates, unfortunately there’s nothing much you can do in this situation. If they leave the match, they’ll get dishonor. If they don’t want to be matched in a team with particular people, they better make a full team of 5 and go together.

Yeah the ready button was a great addition, but if you think you’ll never get Skyhammer anymore you’re wrong. I already had Skyhammer ( after a full skyham free year) with only 1 person who voted for it >.<

This makes no sense. Many PvPers like to make new characters just for variety.

Sorry, I can’t believe this. I am a girl, and all my characters are female. I’ve played 2000+ PvP games and NEVER ever have heard something like this.

I have played many games also using Teamspeak with friends or random people and never been treated disrespectfully.

You can blame the PvP community for many things, but not to be sexist.

A bit off topic question. How MMs deal with longbow rangers? Or they can’t?

I don’t mean this as an offense or an accusation but out guild team also met ReVo and we also experienced huge lagspikes and 2 dcs.
Not that this means anything but some of my more hot headed guild mates might have reported you.

Omg why do you think we don’t have lag and disconnects too? It’s the same for us, just we don’t blame the opposite team for this. Every team have the same problems now, basically the team with less lag wins.

What now, the team with less lag winning? We just lost the game because 3 in the middle had huge lag spikes and lost the point in the meantime. Do something kitten

Because of this issue our guild was accused of ddosing people. The opposite team said they dc every time when they play with us and we got reported.

We had 3 teams running at this time, so I guess they just always had one of our teams against them. And we suffered from lag spikes too, just happily no one of us dced. It hurts to be falsely accused. :/

Two days ago we played a game against a team with 4 turret engies and after the game one of them started to whisper to our mesmer bullkitten only because he was killed by him few times. He called our team cheesy (shatter mesmer, thief, ele, warrior, guardian) and the mesmers “the most braindead profession in PvP, which requires no skill at all”. I’m not joking, we have posted screenshots from this conversation on out forums, because it’s hard to believe.

Now when watching your beautiful purple ring, just thinking, maybe this is your problem. After so many games on your ele I guess you have somehow mastered your class. But this is PvP and it’s important also to know your opponents. Dueling is okay, but the best way to know what to expect from any class is to play this class. I think playing another professions will help you to improve your ele in PvP.

In the scrimmage last night everyone was trying to kill chungie… Not nice guys, not nice.

Confirmed. I noticed about 1s delay on my skills last night, then sticked in Stillness and had to /dance to be able to move. Lag spikes of 4-5 secs, especially when in team fight with many visual effects. In the meantime there was no lag on Ts, so it was only the game.

Also one of the team was standing like forever in the loading screen and we always had to play the first 1-2 mins of the match without him.

Count me in the club. I even was looking for a way to change the hellfire gloves for radiant but no, there is no way.

There’s not much Arenanet can do for the 4v5 issue! They can’t reach through their monitors and force leavers to stay! Sometimes they can’t stay! Whether it’s parents kicking their kids off the computer, a power outage, an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, dog chewing on the internet cables, raging nerds, lupus, etc.! What they should do is just implement a timer! If that person doesn’t come back within a set amount of time, everyone is just free to leave and play a new game!

With that said, Vee Wee, #1 Engi NA and world first rank 80, only gets a 4v5 maybe once every hundred games! It’s fairly rare!

I believe there are many things Arenanet could do to deal with these 4v5s. The dishonor was the first step in the right direction, but I’ve seen many good solutions here on these forums.

Many of us suffer from this 4v5 issue, right? It happens every day, it happens to everyone of us and sometimes 2-3 and more times in a row.
And
We are always in the team with 4, right?
Whenever there is 4v5 I’m in the over numbered team.

Then. The logical question.
Who are these blessed people who are in the team of 5?

I have a friend, who has a cousin that is ex-bf of the sister of one of the devs.
So he told me there are people who pay Anet crazy money to be on top position in the leaderboard.

You wonder why there are people with 7-8 games in top 100? Here is your answer.

Why they do this? A good question. As you can see I have verified information from trusted sources. But I really have no idea about their motives to want so desperate to be on top. Ill minds? The first step to world Domination? Help me to understand!

Guardian’s invulnerability is Elite skill on 90s cooldown, lasts 2s and you can’t contest a point.
Warrior’s invulnerability is Utility skill, on 60s cooldown, lasts 4s and you can contest a point.

Sounds to me like double standart.
