Healing ,boon ,support,if u want all of these support thing ,quit ele and roll a guardian ,great supporter more than ele. I roll ele because i can use alot of skill to hurting people , not to support people.

How do you do much damage without dropping like a fly if someone gives you one hit? (My main focus is PvE.) Edit: so yes giving a lot of regeneration and condition cleansing party wide together with high healing power could work well as a support profession. But yeah it a radical idea.

When people talking about ele nerf ,they talking about the nerf in WvW and PvP ,nothing change too much in PvE ,that all . I think PvE players should stop talking about nerf problems .PvE players enemies are champ and mods ,PvP/WvW players enemies are 10k backstab thief ,skull crack 100b warrior or conditions burst with fear spam necro. They are DIFFERENT .U dont understand about the nerf.

Well I get it you are talking about WvW.
I don’t do this game mode.
What is there even to talk about in WvW ?? :o

The fact is, due to fresh air, we do damage comparable to warriors in PvE.
And at the same time we have access to much higher utility, we provide support, etc.

In my opinion :
PvE : every classes balance , cuz your enemies are champs ,mods ,world events bla bla … we need to be “friends” to beat them all.
PvP/WvW : Every classes OP cuz my main is ele . Im current running a burst FA zerk + valk mix . Eles miss the burst ,70% eles die .Thievies miss the burst ,just steath ,run away and do it again . Warrior miss the burst .. ah wait ,with 3s stun of skull crack every single 8s ,how can they miss it ? :v
And when people talking about the nerf ,they talking about WvW and PvP ,nothing happen to PvE :v

Given the kitten CD and the non-outstanding dmg ( with average crit dmg 30-40% ) I believe it’s not unreasonable to ask for a bigger fire angle, as it stands now you need to literally sit on the opponent to have any chance to land it, also you need to stay face to face with him.

here is my ele .well ,very …. hard to say :v 9/10

d/d traditional set up 0 10 0 30 30 with knight or celes or whatever u want armor ,trinket .
or s/d fresh air build ,30 point to air ,the rest up to you ,like 20/30/0/20/0 or 0/30/020/20 or whatever u want again ,with berzerk armor and trinket .mix some vakyrie for more survive .with this build ,take your enemy down quickly before they try to take u down .

Can anyone tell me some advice about gearing and traits for scepter ele ? My main is solo roam and small group roam in WvW .Just new to it

I only have problem with mesmer ,specially is condition mesmer .Can’t fight a mesmer when they just run around and giving torment, confution with 2 or 3 random condintion .Staff ,torch and decoy make mesmer more “uncatchable” than thief .

U must ignore about /dance , /laught, /wave ,/beckon …. and invite u to a party just for "coward , noob " bla bla …. i met lot of guys always " u guys noob , u guys need 2 to beat me" , " what are u doing ? lol " . just dont care about them

can u finish someone with that Final Thurst ? in a full condition build ? like 100b ,u only slash 8 ,not 100 .

I think final thurst need to add 1 condition on this, because if u running a full condition warrior ,the DPS of final thurst will mean notthing with that build .Confusion or Torment will be nice in my opinion

1 v1 with thief in wvw ? k. you brust thief like hell , when he reach 50% or 25% ,he will steath and run away to ooc .when he heath up ,he will back and “stab stab ,kill kill kill” u from the back dont spend your time to chasing him ,just “lol,keep running” to that guy

im running a 0/10/0/30/30 tanky d/d ele cantrip with full soldier gear ,sometime i change to berzerk and thief not a big problem with me (expect pro or lagging) pop up earth armor or air aura to dodge the stun from them(always) ,and the rest is get close and kite them to death .if they pop up black powder ,just get out of skill arena and keep atk( ele have more melee range than some other classes)

i was dueling again that guy yesterday . i can kite him to death when he using the guardian ,but no way to find a change with the necro and mes .he just running around ,summon the minions/clone ,make the 1v1 fight become 1v alot look like necro minions and shatter mes doesn’t need skills to play

today i was dueling with a friend in pvp . he using a tanking guard with GS /sword focus ,a shatter mesmer and minion necro .after few fights , i lost all of them cuz i never fighting with all 3 classes before .can someone show me some advice ?

running dun as a farmer ,try to leveling a mesmer (too lazy),and looking 4 some other useful build …

Hi. im playing both in pvp and pve .after the patch i decide to change to a staff ele. im not familiar with staff cuz im playing bunker d/d ele before. im focus to a tanky build with soldier armor stats

im using mist form to finish warrior ,guardian,engineer,necro and ranger easier

30 to both vitaly and toughness. 10 point less is your choice .using soldier gear

1) ele staff is one of the most hardest weapon to master (in my opinion)
2) i hate s/d ,not cool
3) d/d ele look cool ,and not so hard to master it (in my opinion)

The problem is idk what armor stats i should use. I prefer to use the zerker amor stats but seem very glassly .I need an armor stats balance between attack and defend .

That my question ,i feel like warrior cant burst more dmg like in pve and wvw.too weak ,and that maybe one of the most reason why 80% people focus to kill a warrior first in spvp
