Seriously I feel that our ET fighters are getting better and better in term of skill , coordination and response to call of help.
9 hrs ago , I saw SF took astral in ET BL and was marching for cliftside ao i call for help.
Commandet Gilkin response quickly with our defenders and wiped SF Zerg . Less than 10 mins later SF took Arab and move towards Longview , I notify every 1 in map chat and every 1 taking Longview at that moment stop attacking longview and charge towards Arah. That’s the kinda response time I totally love.

Yeah man hope you guys keeps up the good work, this morning (before reset) was real fun and after losing our BL thought we were going to lose SM to and probably would have to if ET didn’t almost take everything from Fergs. Wish I had a screen shot of that but this one was from a little while before. Loved the fights….you guys just have to follow the “RIGHT” commanders and you will be all set. Keep up the good work…well at least the people I have respect for there!

Also, I’m not a supporter of any particular individual (or any particular server, except my own of course ). Just a fan of treating people fairly, keeping these server match threads clean, and saving the fighting for the battlefield. That’s all.

And FilthyRat is correct, the intent of my post was not to be argumentative. Just pointing out my observations from this side of the match, nothing more. If you’re trying to get me riled up to try to hook me into some forum PvP, nice try. Maybe another time.

I think you missed my intent. There is no debate.

It’s very clear that SF got some kind of boom in it’s numbers, and that is why it is winning.

Now, I would like to clear up a social aspect of this that seems to be getting lost somewhere along the way. The reality is, Where that boom came from, No offence but speculation on that is, just that, speculation, we “The other side” don’t really care. I mean you might want to care, as it will affect how well you do in the future if you pull out of T8 and face more serious matches, but, we don’t.

We are content to just make up stories to explain how you are very suddenly brutally out numbering us and leave it at that, since it really does not matter the how or why you can field quadruple the numbers we can field, all that matters is that you are doing now, and could not do it before.

I will say at that at ET, We claim that is it transfers out of respect to you, because if it is transfers, then that would mean your numbers are potentially skilled people who had the brilliance to move to the winning side (some of them are from our world even), but will hopefully stick it out as you move up and are not afraid to fail from time to time, as opposed to being nothing more then sunshine-solders that are finally crawling out of the wood work only because SF is winning.

I have been trying to explain that. The Transfer and Influx claims is a respect thing, It’s a sign we are trying to give you the most respect to explain your growth.

It’s been a problem since day one and really hope they do something about it they will drive people away from game now that they put paid transfers in. It takes them so long to even fix the little thing in the game, we can only hope. Not happy that they are pushing back the Feb. WvW updates, but hopefully it’s cause they are working on current system.

Nah not offended, just wanted to know what your point was. We did loose some guide not argueing that, but they left before SF was in the picture. And my server only has drama when one guild (not mentioning name) comes in and starts bashing everyone, they don’t wvw much anymore so its not a problem.The bleeding you perceive is wrong though, outside of the guilds we left, we’re not loosing anyone else, we had xmas boomhow people have mentioned. I never equated guesting in any kind of reference to paid transfers. Just said I haven’t seen it myself.
Right now based on total server population. Seems like an indifferent system than one based on either doing it by wvw or pve populations. You may like to guest on other severs but some people like to just be on a server and stay there.

Lol… what doesn’t make sense is this whole thread. The name is meant to draw people in then in the opening page you reference other servers, and when people from other servers come in and give you an opinion you call them troll and tell them to stay out?

And be truthful about the real situation on your servers please with all the infighting, guilds not working together, and the way people act in map chat. i have talked to several member that came to our server in the week alone.

If people are paying to get out of there and come with awful stories about certain servers then it seems like you need to do some internal work and and start working together.

Also imo it is far worst that all the passive aggressive people will come into the forums and post their victories over someone with a screen shot to publicly humiliate them than to dance on a corpse. (and try to make it seem like they are being friendly)

In regards to the argument that people who transfer based on PvE would start an uprising if they had to pay transfer fees that were scaled according to something they have no interest in, there’s a single word that invalidates any strength behind that line of reasoning. The PvE crowd can transfer to not only any server they want free of charge, they can do this twice every 24 hours. Is there even a single one of them who honestly pays to PvE with friends from different servers when they can do the transfer for free? If there are, they clearly have no money management skills. The only reason to do a permanent transfer is for WvW. Period. Full stop.

So, I’m asking again: Why don’t the permanent transfer fees in any way relate to WvW? Please, to anyone who reads this, I’m begging you; can you offer an answer to this question? If it takes more than 2 paragraphs to shoot down a defence of the current scheme I’ll be shocked.

First off never seen anyone guest in the game yet.
Right now it’s based on server population as a whole so to change it to give the bottom tier servers a handicap would be unfair to many people.

What are you talking about, we have the same problem with people from SF and ET camping ever JP and ganking our players. Don’t make it seem like our server is the only one that does it.

I am not, I’m telling my personal experience with fergs who I bowed to several times and spoke with who just laughed and continued. I had no issues with SF while in JP they all bowed right back. I’m speaking personally and notice how I said SOME. My whole time in the puzzle all I saw was fergs ganging up on everyone there. So for this personal experience the only ones were fergs. I posted here because I know before we wanted to know ppl camping JP so our server could deal with it, so I did so to post about this guy from SIKE. I was so kitten far in the JP So I was pretty upset since I’m not very good at them lol and no one around to revive me. I know every server has ppl like this so please don’t think I am saying Fergs are the only ones. I have quite a few friends in FC and I’m not that type of person. Just speaking on my personal experience today. I’m not use to running into issues like this, personally had nothing but positive and respectful experiences in the JP, any other time. So this was a new experience for me, and I was just dissapointed. I apologize if it seemed that way, I suppose I should have elaborated in my first post more. So SORRYYYY <3

There was a post from when we first came to this server so not sure why you feel as we should wave turn our backs and then get knocked off the cliff from behind. You guys taught us not be friendly in there with this type of behavior.

And be truthful guys your servers have had a lot of infighting and guilds not working together in WvW…and blaming us for having numbers is getting a little old and silly. The truth of the matter is you have been bleeding members long before we came into the picture.

I was talking about players wanting to switch server but either way…I feel those solutions would just cause more problems for Anet than they already have on their hands. I agree there is a problem with the whole ranking system and something needs to be done.

I have been on servers and taken a far worst beating that you guys week after week where we were luck if we even took a tower for 20mins mins before a zerg would show up and smash the one or two people that tried to defend the tower. (;) GoM before they worked hard formed a server alliance and pulled themselves out of the mud).
It has been a problem for a long time and they need to fix it along with a lot of other game mechanics….like more options for commanders and being able to ride dolyaks.

Well PvE players don’t even like to hear anything about WvW and hate that they even have to go in there for map completion or for Badges…so I can imagine the backlash that this would cause.

Not sure of what you mean by saying that people like to win handily and behavior proves something that is in Anet’s hands.

That would just alienate all the people that just PvE if transfers are based on WvW participation.

For me this whole “agreement” between FC and ET is not working at all well. I think too few people are informed or just don’t care. Last night I just exited out spawn in EB and the whole map is almost all green. A group of 4 ET were roaming around taking camps and I bowed as they ran past. They paused, buffed and continued to beat the snot out of me so from my side the gloves are off again I’m afraid.

Well at least most of you can come to some sort of an arrangement. Sorry didn’t work out to well….But Team Sheen is always looking for recruits if you want to join a team that will help you grow.

I’ve never paid much attention to JPs before, so I set off with merely a vague idea of where I was running, and the knowledge that it was a long perilous journey. All hands would be against me, and if i was caught, it would mean certain death. (see first image)

After a harrowing trip deep into hostile territory, I found… nothing. (see second image) Well this was not what I expected. Back and forth a bit. Oh wait, that’s the legendary guards, better not go over there… and look around a bit more, and finally give in to my last resort… /wiki jumping puzzles.

About the JP, I just want to be clear of this, I don’t camp the JP, but is stupid that when I’m helping my guild/server get blueprints Ill wave at an enemy and let them get blueprints for themselves. Everyone else is free to do whatever they want, but I feel that we are missing the point of why the jp in WvW gives you blueprints to use in wvw, and I could care less on PvErs going for the medals, like I said before, I trusted at the beggining and I only got back-stabbed after they got the good numbers to take me down, sorry… not doing that again.

I tried to be civil until I was killed over five times in there…and will never make that mistake again. And I want to thank all the people that get mad at me for my posts just gives me a warm feeling inside…WINNING!!!

Honestly, the best way to put it IS a cease-fire treaty… that random people keep breaking. Usually Ferg since they do have more pop than ET, thus probability states it is more likely that people will be lame and backstab.

We don’t intrude on Ferg’s territory, even though we could get easy points that way. Typically, Ferg doesn’t intrude on ours, and they could get easy points too. We’re too busy fighting SF all day everyday until the end of time. They’re also too busy fighting SF all day every day.

But trust us, we CAN and WILL dedicate resources against Ferg when they become d-bags and take our stuff WHILE SF is already crushing us at the same time. But we don’t want to. There is no need to invite third-party rage when SF is the major threat on every map.

While we may not be able to stop Ferg’s random 5-man camp cappers in our borderland, and vice versa, they aren’t backstabbing our keeps. As long as they don’t backstab our keeps and towers, we don’t take their keeps and towers in their borderland. Simple as that.

But seriously, Ferg, next time I see a backstab against the Overlook in EB when SF is already breaking everything… I will have no mercy on your borderlands.

Personally I never started corpse dancing/jumping/laughing/whatever until it started popping up as a problem on the forums. It happens to me all the time lol, really nothing to get upset about. As far as JP camping goes, I don’t do it but really why would we let you have free seige? It’s a war. Could you imagine if the French asked Germany for free weapons during World War II? It would be baffling.

And zerging annoys you? Well tough. I don’t care if it’s honorable or not, if it works and it isn’t against GW2 rules I will use it. Believe it or not, zerging is a tactic. Zerging is available to all servers, not just SF. Connecting back to the WWII reference, imagine if the French also asked Germany to stop fighting in mass because it was dishonorable, or it made them seem like “distasteful” people.

I will stress again that this is a war. No matter what tactic we need to use, red = dead. We are enemies, whether you like it or not. If you want a place where people are always polite, I’m sure you’ll love PvE.

But all of this aside, I’m proud to say that the waypoint at ET keep I ordered has been built, woo transportation. Let’s play a game… find the blue or red.

Guys it’s a game, not a war. Just FYI. Most players in sports and other games try to show some respect to opponents and don’t taunt or run up the score. Now I’m not saying that SF should stop capping stuff, but camping JPs when we don’t even have the people to mount a siege is rather distasteful.

The few remaining guilds on FC and ET can’t even get together to have a guild event in the JPs without SF interrupting us, even though the score is 2x or 3x in favour of SF and there is no way we could mount a comeback with the minimal siege we get from the JP.

Guy it’s a game with siege warfare and fighting so not sure why you want us to sit there and let people get into a position where they can take us out from behind, but FYI there are plenty of jp’s out in pve for your guilds to run. The jp is a pain I don’t like to run it twice so not going to put myself in that position again

If you read the post by Scooby and got your members to fight like they did Friday it wouldn’t even be an issue.

This is WvW which is war…was killed plenty of times in here before I started trying to keep control of this strategic point. I feel your pain too, it isn’t easy for us all the time either. It sometimes reminds me of mowing the lawn when we are in battle (only cause the whole map is GREEN and that is the only reason, not because we just cut you guys to pieces). I am sorry that the battles are so one sided but you guys post pics/and compare us to Kaineng, what do you compare yourselves to. Well at least ET owns a supply camp right now not sure how helpful that will be in the long run.

Wish you would …this match-up reminds me of an Episode of Seinfeld when Kramer took Karate and had to fight Children. I was jumped from behind and killed over 7 times here while “Trying To be Nice”. Then I decided to stay up and defend this point as any server that may share a few brains would. Love to see the waterworks though…TY so much and keep coming back to Thunderdome and giving me some enjoyment while you run around below.

Same here, never going to camp at Jp and kill enemies.
I just feel really lame if I do that.

Well I got killed many times well before I started ever started attacking people so blame the people on your own severs….not very smart to start attacking us when you can barely hold down your own BL

AH kitten WE GOT A QUEEN OF THE JUMPING PUZZLE. Lettuce be cereal; we only use the JP when we’re not gearing up our alts off the dead bodies of lulzy SF players. Gotta hand it to Anet though, I love those wooden chests.

Man watching enemies run for their live in the Thunderdome of EB’s jumping puzzle is so much fun. They think they will get out…but then I pull em down and release the beasts.
