its a hard one for tall fat norns, half the time my camera was tilted sideways through the jumping part of it

it’s doable but a lot harder than other races

this is why i want at least a basic first person view like they had in gw1, would stop a lot of the camera problems, just no idea why they left it out.

in my mind:

grinding means you’re forced to do something over and over to make progress in the story etc

farming means you are willingly going out of your way to do something repetitive for something that you want that isn’t necessary to win the game

Sure, but legendaries are not necessary in the game. Are they a grindin or farm?

I don’t know why they didn’t even have a simple one like they had in gw1, it’s great for screenshots etc, they go on about how beautiful the world looks, well let me see it and take pictures without my character standing in the middle of it all the time.

wouldnt look right, the norn look would go well with a dwarf look but you’d have a 6 foot dwarf at the smallest and humans are built like stick insects.

Divinity’s reach could be filled with mimes and clowns and they could finally open up the mini games like the rifle range… :P

the only event happening around there is one where you escort some asura up to the nightmare camp fighting risen on the way.

Just a few bugs on Desolation

1. Wardenhurst Waypoint – it’s not there.
2. Wardenhurst Event “Help the wardens defend Wardenhurst” – is stuck on the last wave.
3. The spiral puzzle doesn’t seem to be working, the tree looks dead and everyone’s just head-butting the first stone as they jump up.

edit – managed to complete the spiral puzzle but i’m sure it used to be a LOT easier to get on that first rock, so i still think it’s broke.

i think you need the caves at the south west by rata sum

brown bear is called Cheese Bearger and everything else is Dave

i’ve noticed this too, it fixes itself when i dodge

it’s like that slowed down speed you get when you fall and take damage, you just run slow for a few secs, but this sticks around and doesn’t go back to normal.

that’s because there is no direct way for the pet to get to them as they cant run through doors

the only work around is using “guard” to throw your pet down there or use a ranged pet (that will probably fire at the floor instead)

ranger isnt the only class to get miss/obstruct but yes it is anoying.

it happens in melee too, can be stood right next to/on top of something and still miss it even an object like a skelk nest or a roadblock lol

i doubt if they would do this as it’s tied in with the wvw bonuses

asura look bad, they have huge heads and tiny bodies, armors just look nearly the same on them because of their size and weapons are like match sticks, their toes clip through all shoes except for cultural and their ears either get cut off or clip through helmets.

and norn have an ok starting area, the green bit is really nice but the endless snow up north is boring.

i really wanted to be asura since i saw vekk in gw1 but had to go norn/human

if they made the pounce part a leap finisher then i’d be a happier with the root

either way i’m going to use sword, it’s my favourite weapon

i love sword/torch, drop the bonfire leap out and leap back in with a flame shield

but yeah i would like to sometimes cancel out of skill 1 to dodge an aoe

oh come on, you can do the daily in queensdale in like 30 mins if that… you have 24 hours to do it.

go to “my documents” then “guild wars 2” folder in there and delete the “local.dat” file

that one holds your auto log in information and settings etc

also Superior Rune of the Mad King has (6): Summon ravens to attack nearby enemies when you activate an elite skill. (Cooldown: 45s)

with the long elite recharges that would be every time you use the elite lol

i play dress up in the pvp locker more than i do quests etc.

digitial deluxe items are just pants to be honest. in fact i’d rather have a pair of guild wars 2 Y-fronts to put over the top of my armor in game than what we got lol

the mini never gets used as it either takes a slot up in an invisible bag or gets dumped to the bank everytime i “deposit collectibles” and i’d just rather not have it with me like that, also rarely see anyone with any mini-pet unlike guild wars 1, probably because of the reason i just gave.

the tome/chalice/banker etc are just pointless

hero band is outgrown in an hour

the elite skill is pants too, the wolf just runs around doing whatever it wants, sniffs the floor more than attacking, never takes aggro and lasts as long as a gnat in a flamethrower…

so yeah, i’d get storage space or a character slot.

they completely overhauled the dervish in guild wars nightfall, nearly every skill was changed in 1 patch, so they do do it.

yeah i want a link too, i hope your just getting confused with how they called the old guild wars 1 expansions pay as you go, not pay monthly, if they start a monthly fee i’ll quit and never recommend the game to anyone, the biggest selling point was having no monthly fee…

factions, nightfall and eye of the north were what they called “pay as you go” back then.

This can only happen, however, if noone searches the keep for Mesmers and if noone watches enemy movements and keeps an eye on the battlements. As a Mesmer myself (among other chars) you do not really undestand, I think, how difficult it is to achieve a to d. So if a Mesmer pulls this off YOU have been lazy. Period.

the crying over portal is probably just from the people that zerg quickly from one place to another, i don’t see it as an exploit or anything

it would be exploiting IF that mesmer was hiding under/inside terrain etc, NOT standing inside the fort doing /dance laughing at you all.

bit spiky, but the rest of the leg armour is either skirts or skinny fit which looks silly with such chunky upper armour.
