don’t just think about mining ori nodes, it’s a convenience item that will mine all ore nodes. saves carrying a few picks around for different nodes, you’ll never run out so no need to check on how many you have before adventuring out and never worry about fighting your way to a rich node to find you ran out of picks and have to do it all again.
i was doing this the other day to the southern bay gate and just left the gate at 50%, i built it up from around 5% on my own. I ran inside the bay and there must have been 30 other guys standing around a commander who was afk (they were there the whole time), i just gave up. If they all grabbed supply we would have had that gate done in 2 seconds. 2 minutes later it got attacked and they broke through and flipped the bay. It’s like nobody wants to defend any more, they would rather it got flipped and then flip it back again than defend it or just glue themselves to a commander (even if they are afk) and not think for themselves.

I don’t see a reason why it would ever need to be raised, and with how quickly we level up it would be just be pointless to raise the cap.
it doesn’t annoy me if i read something that’s not grammatically correct or even spelt 100% right because i do it myself
but it does annoy me to read a sentence using only abbreviations and txt speak, i tend not to join those groups or talk with them
Also stability does not stop immobilize.

maybe these will help if running in a large group?
for now anyway
Capes? where are the capes?
T1 Norn Shoulders
T1 Norn Gloves
T1 Norn Boots
Gladiator Chest
Barbaric Legs
always hide my helmet
Stuck on Metrica’s loading screen (Desolation)
will try guesting out
you can get up it while it’s dead, but it’s tricky :-)
i like how the jail is getting more popular thanks to the super adventure box, before there was never anybody there in the depths of rata sum with not much reason to go to the prison area.
now there’s always people there or diving off the side of the city

Almost forgot the other bonus.
drum roll
You can buy town clothes & fight in them!
and mercenary heroes you can buy from the shop, dress them all up and set them as a hero
fighting through tyria in wedding finery outfits :P
or save up 63000 karma and get it from the T3 human cultural weapon vendor in Divinity’s Reach
My gripe is, right now im recruiting for a guild that im in, on Seafarers Rest. And while I will post on /map the usual recruitment type posts I will also whisper anyone I see thats not in a guild. And I would say that on average out of every 20 people that I whisper around 18-19 people wont even reply to the whisper.
Even a no thanks I would be happy with, but I just think that people cant even take 2 seconds to write a reply as extremely rude.
no. what is rude is that you are advertising in map chat (which isn’t rude) but you are also whispering everyone with no guild (which i find rude), do you realize how annoying it is to have several guilds sending whispers and invites every time you go into lions arch? that’s why people ignore you, we want to play the game not stop to politely tell you and everyone else that we don’t want to join your guild, I would get chat suppressed telling people the same thing over and over.
to me random invites and whispers makes your guild look unprofessional and looking like you are desperate for members and makes me think your just full of a lot of new players that just clicked accept invitation without really caring and probably won’t be worth joining.
make a website, advertise that with a short description of what you specialize in in map chat. Then on the site go into more detail and recruit people from there, make a guild forum etc, look like your active and let people look into your guild to make their own decision in their own time without making them feel like they have to choose yes/no right on the spot like when you randomly whisper people…
And for not rezzing, half the time I rez a random player they just stand there afk and die again, so I’m doing them a favour by not rezzing them and saving them repair bills. If they ask nicely for a rez while I run past I will stop to rez.

this is about the closest I could get her face
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Making-Destinies-Edge/first#post1484769
can get her bow too she uses a Cultural Norn Longbow (can’t remember which tier), her armour is T3 Cultural medium
you can have the armour, hair, tattoos, eye colour, skin colour but not the face shape.
same goes for all destiny’s edge, except for rytlock, you can’t have his hair colour too.
the last patch broke my sylvari’s heritage helmet, now i have red cabbage leaves poking out through it (my normal hair colour is a dark green)
:P
same for me too, it’s only happened on my charr.
make an alt and never use the auction house , only sell to npc merchants and get yourself full exotic/ascended/legendary with it.
or for a challenge, if you die, delete it and start again.
for more of a challenge, don’t use waypoints/asura gates, just run everywhere.
or to test your patience, walk when out of combat.
even more of a patience challenge, walk all the time.
set yourself carrying limits, like only use your starter backpack for stuff and only use bags for small things like food/crafting mats.
or going further than this, set a roleplaying weight limit for your items, you can’t realistically carry 20 greatswords in a backpack so you need to decide whether to take it or leave it.
play like that and the game will last 20 years or more lol
(edited by Flubble.8093)
that guy lookz so dum lol
have you seen the ranger Rox?
http://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/c124aRox-New-1.jpg
hahaha!
but yeah those weapons look pretty cool i hope we can get them.
No no know it would have to be Kormir giving them a Lecture and they fall over dead getting banned
lol i can see that, kormir popping up shouting “you never fight alone” then wipes out half the gw2 accounts for botting :P
If Guild Wars 2 had a monthly fee, then like every other MMO that charges a monthly fee I wouldn’t have even looked at it again once I knew about it.
i used this monthly to raise jeweller from 0 to 400 and got the achievement on the way crafting jewels, jewels seem pretty cheap to make and had most of the gems in the bank from daily gatherings
Hmm so i got JC up to 25 and it doesn’t have any jewel recipe in there. What level do I have to get it to for crafting jewels exctly?
get to 50, you can craft a copper filigree then and discover the jewels
1 Copper Filigree
1 of any Pebble or a Pearl (the tier 1 gems)
World bosses should gain +50 armour (or something) for each player in the area taking part in the event.
50 people attacking under quickness and 25 might, bleeds, burning, confusion, retaliation, vulnerability, bosses like the shaman at maw go down in under 10 secs, you’re lucky if you get a hit in
maws getting silly now, so many people there don’t even know how the events work like they are only there for the chest, you’re supposed to talk to the priest after you kill all the grawl stealing supplies, not run off and wait by the moa birds wondering why the rest of the grawl havn’t spawned in yet…
and that 1 person who starts the event will be lucky to get a silver medal by the time they get to the dragon totem.
(edited by Flubble.8093)
just get Nightfall and Eye of the North, make a Ranger (for getting a pet) and you’ll have the 3 skins you mentioned in no time, you only need 10 HOM points for them
3 points for linking accounts
2 for Eternal Hero of Elona (just finish the last mission in nightfall)
1 for any pet statue (why i said make a ranger)
1 for any hero statue
2 for 5 companion statues
1 for 10 companion statues
and they shouldn’t be available to non gw1 players.
i don’t understand why the quaggan/charr backpack is normal armour, what’s up with that? it would fit with the hoodie they made for town clothes not your battle gear.
an ancient karka happened, we hit it with something when it invaded LA and it decided to knock the top off the lighthouse
take the auto part off of skill 1 and press 1 when you want to attack and take off your skill on dodge trait.
(edited by Flubble.8093)
ignore the longbow, was for a ranger but it’s still medium armour
Duelist Chest
Duelist Shoulder
Vigil Legs
Nightmare Boots
Nightmare Gloves
whatever helm you like
how about a trait that shows a stealthed enemy to all within 600 range radius (or lower) of me or something, so instead of being completely invisible they show up like stealthed allies do (see through but you can see them) but with no name above them? would still be stealthy while giving us a bit of a counter.
if they introduce largos as a race in the future, this could be a trait or racial skill for them
(edited by Flubble.8093)
I’ve been trying this too, i made Eir and was trying Rytlock this morning but couldn’t get the beard, Danikat’s is about the closest you’ll get.
i don’t think you will be able to make a 100% copy of any of them
[edit] just tried Logan, you can’t get his face
(edited by Flubble.8093)
i agree with you, if i use a sword on my norn warrior it feels like im using it very slowly and not agressive at all, while the humans and sylvari obvioulst put their full strenght into the last auto attack!
If they used all their strength to attack they would split Tyria into two :-p
i don’t know about WvW, you might have better luck dumping the cats and going with the birds (they move a bit faster with their swiftness buff) or a ranged pet like a devourer/spider?
press F1 to tell your pet to attack and let your pet get the first hit or two, by this time i usually find the enemy has its back to me and doesn’t let go of the pet and it just takes a beating there without moving.
bank and trader right next to each other at pride point
saves running past the forge in LA if you’re doing a lot of bank and trade stuff
why not use the bank built into the forge?
What bank in the forge? I only have my inventory show up.
bank and trader right next to each other at pride point
saves running past the forge in LA if you’re doing a lot of bank and trade stuff
did you just take a photo of your screen?
i love Quaggans!!
this game now needs a quaggan onesie :P
not enough leather bikinis is what you’re really saying.
Not everyone is playing a female character and dress them just to stare at their…body parts.
I’m playing a male character with medium armor and I’m really tired of trench coats. I wish we had more variety like in GW1
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ranger_armor
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Assassin_armor
it’s funny because in GW1 people were complaining there wasn’t enough coats, now in GW2 we have lots of coats and we’re complaining there’s not enough non-coat armour
i too would like to see more choice rather than coat/skirt looking armours, this is even going into heavy and light, so many skirts on guys lol
rainbow pauldrons, a big sparkling rainbow going over your head from shoulder to shoulder
a big muffin for a chest piece
a big muffin case looking skirt for legs
candle helmet with a flame on top
and when you get hit you splash white and brown chocolate chips and sprinkles everywhere
(edited by Flubble.8093)
you get it once and on your first character
but you can transfer it to other characters for them to use
It would be interesting to see an earth field on ground too, there could be some awesome DD elementalist tricks you could do with a blast finisher that causes stealth.
that’s what a smoke field does
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Smoke_field
(edited by Flubble.8093)
dailies seem more like a tutorial on how to play the game
take part in events
learn to dodge
dodge those veterans
rez stuff that couldn’t dodge
learn to fight underwater
gather materials to craft with
learn to craft
(edited by Flubble.8093)
It would also be great if we could be able to compile every hint out there
some of these legendaries just look ridiculous, so much it makes me not want to make them.
dreamer was fine (bad enough but bearable) just shooting rainbows, what’s with the massive unicorns? seriously?
hope they make more legendaries that are more serious looking (for a fantasy game) and not pre-school child toys like this.
I love rangers, I don’t understand why everyone’s complaining about them, they aren’t that bad. I’ve had an easier time playing ranger than I have with other classes.
history doesn’t mean anything, you look at A-nets definition of a ranger which is this:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/ranger/
“Rangers rely on a keen eye, a steady hand, and the power of nature itself. Unparalleled archers, rangers are capable of bringing down foes from a distance with their bows. With traps, nature spirits, and a stable of loyal pets at their command, rangers can adapt to any situation.”
i HIGHLY recommend the Logitech G600 mouse, it is far superior to the equivalent Razer mice (and cheaper) and you can find loads of uses for the side buttons in and out of game.
as for the keyboard, just find something you are comfortable using, the keys can be compact or spaced out so you need to have a proper feel of one to find your comfort zone.
