Celestial gear is viable for anything. I run it for everything atm. With a pretty good hybrid build.
It is pretty much the best gear for eng in my opinion. pretty much makes you unstoppable.
The reason, conditions with a small amount of might still has 1200+ condi damage, your power although not as bursty as zerker still hits hard enough to cause problems. You can take a few hits and your heal is pretty strong. With the right traits and the fact you can switch out without retraiting makes almost any weapon good.
Finally the fact that as an eng really all our weapons are hybrid based needing power, crit damage and condi damage, you want crit for all the on crit procs and you’ll need survivability all in all celestial is the best gear.

…so what you’re saying is “They shouldn’t have the health bonus every other minion type has gotten, they should get a much bigger one because they can’t move.”

That’s almost exactly what I meant. If you can run from a turret it’s an easy kill. I have been in some situations where my HT has been dead before It’s even out and done the first Overcharge.

So why should something that you can’t move be the same hp as something that can follow you, and get heals?
Also if you look at the range of a turret, if you have max range on it it can’t hit you. The only one with a chance is Rocket turret and if you can’t dodge it you shouldn’t be taken seriously when you complain about it.

They fire at predictable rates of fire, can’t move, have limited range and can only hit one target at a time. This sounds like in a 1v1 fight having a lot of health on them would be OP but when you have 2 people in the mix it’s going to be bye bye turrets

Clearly my comment has caused some confusion and offense, which was not my intent. For that, I offer my apology and a more literal version of what I mean to say:

Every profession has aspects that make it different than the others. Sometimes those aspects can exclude a player from taking full advantage of certain bonuses from equipment. But that is not the reason those choices exist. The implementation of a signet-related rune is not an oversight, nor is it meant as a deliberate exclusion of the engineer profession. It is meant to be a new, interesting choice for players that want to use to signets and want to play professions that have them.

We do all appreciate the work you guys are doing. We know it’s not intentional, just the way I think we feel as a profession.

We do know that our problems are mainly a cosmetic thing.
So please do not feel we are moaning at you. We love the new content, loving the work overall.
Just few a little points.

Totally understand your point, and was never meant to sound like a moan. Was more of a balanced way of putting the angry points into a bit more of how we feel way.

I am fed up of people comparing turrets and pets for the health issue. I don’t think I am the only one.
I would just like to put this out there. If you want to be fair about turrets and pets you need to really give the turret nearly 3 times the hp. and 5 times traited of course not suggesting a base line boost to that high.

Now before we get the militant NO! turrets wont be killed. Think of it this way.

Eng throws down turrets. You realise you can’t handle it. You throw down aoe. Stay out of range and wait for the aoe to take them out. Pop in dump more move out again.
Easy kills
Eng has to respond by either picking up the turrets and following you whilst they are on CD. Or leave them up and heal them through. So no mobility.

Now with pets, they follow you. They can move out of aoe, they can keep hitting you and unless you control they they follow you with all bonuses and an angry ranger.

So what was the point?
Turret need a lot more HP to become viable. They should survive at least one bout of pve aoe, no matter how hard it hits. We need to stop having them compared to pets.

Shall we give Kits to all other professions so they can properly utilize Rune of the Engineer?

Honestly, if it buffs them up to ascended level then yes please. We have many cosmetic issues such as legendaries being too long to gather and not shown 90% of the time, kits required(and lower level) so we miss a slot, all back skins covered.

The rune thing is a little different because there are certain runes for each profession for a bonus. Those profession specific one are for that profession only, which I love. profession stuff is awesome. It just seems that this excludes one and benefits 7, rather than benefits one and excludes 7.

I can honestly see the frustration of Engineers. I am one and I do feel we are being a little left behind. The more elite groups avoid them for certain things because other classes with signets are too strong to not take. Mesmers, warriors and guardians for example are almost required.

It seems like a moan, but I just thought I’d put it into perspective. This isn’t moaning because of one little rune. I think it’s more an overall feeling of being “left out” for a few months.

Honestly I think the instant would be too much. but perhaps a scaling increase for people.
For every 80 character you get 25% xp bonus, and a vendor for your gift of exploration giving 100% exp bonus for everything you complete (not mob killing) so hearts, story, vistas and maps.

This could cap at 300% means it would take you a 1/4 of the time to do everything.
It would mean aswell to cap out you’d need to have 4 level 80s and 1 map completion. That means most people would have 1 char left to level at max speed. Others will get more of a bonus for buying new spots.

A Simple DPS Meter solution

The biggest problem with a dps meter is that people do not understand how to use one.
Dps meters should be a personal thing for helping you improve yourself, not putting you into a league with other people.
For example If someone was to run in and do 10k dps then die after 2 seconds, they have done 20k damage to a boss. Some body who was doing 1k dps but survived the whole 2min fight would have done 120k damage. Therefore the lower dps would be better.

People will take these numbers and pick the one they are best at and claim to be god of the game. It’s pretty much like playing chess with a pigeon(google it for an explanation)

ATM min/max zerging is breaking variety giving people a meter to tell them how great they are at it will make it so much worse.

That’s my opinion anyway

My 4 would be:

1) pistol condition duration, My level 1 warrior could auto stack more bleeds than my condi engineer with 100% duration.

2) kits need to do more damage and be less buggy (FT #2 disappearing), so they are scaled to the correct weapon level equipped.

3)I know this is not specific to eng, but I think other attributes need to scale better, so defensive stats matter instead of one shot abilities that mean there’s no point having them.

4)Also I would like the mortar to do siege damage(maybe put conditions down onto gates and walls like 1% damage increase or something) It would make it a viable choice for something. This could be added to other elite skills.

In regards to the engineer.
I think the incendary powder move is going to hurt more builds and create less diversity.
not intentionally obviously but some builds need this like a dual pistol/ft builds needing the extra burn damage/ just the condition itself for the bonus.

Perhaps a way to get round this would make the pistol conditions last a bit longer because even with pretty decent condi duration they fall off pretty quickly even with 100% conditon duration (which is hard to get). This could also replace the rng traits in the tree for condition application.

Armour for FT build

Celestial gear is potentially the best gear. Because If you want to use FT. You will be doing condi damage.
You will probably want to have P/S with it so you can have 2 runes. Rifle is a bad choice as the damage doesn’t really transfer well. Also You get to keep shield armour bonus.

The hybrid FT build is best in my opinion. good crit damage, good power damage, reasonably high crit meaning proc builds are good for FT.

The benefits of Celestial gear is pretty much, You have everything. You won’t get destroyed, so you can do a lot of damage, won’t get one shot and you have some nice control.

It works like an HGH build, You use your heal offensively and defensively. You get buffs from others as well as your self so you never waste might stacks.

Takes longer but works a treat.
The idea is that 5% more damage against bleeds is better than 1% per boon. It’s pretty much 100% 5% damage increase.

The shield pistol combo makes you tougher, the elixir gun gives you a stunbreaker, condi cleanse and more condis to put on the enemy. Overall it’s more switching for more situations.

The reason for celestial is pretty simple. You condis will be up a lot of the time, its free damage. you have survivability from all the bonus stats. With might stacking in general you will have a lot of power and condi damage and should be at around 17-20 stacks of might solo, 25 easy with others around(guardian or ele) You can get 6 stacks of might from just pressing your heal.

Each auto attack from my FT does around 4-5k damage and my bleeds tick around 120-150 each. 75% crit chance 80% of the time means more procs of condis.

Pistol number 2 and 3 puts stack of condis on and when you switch to them for every condition your poison volley hits 6-7K and poison ticks.

Overall you have control, damage, condis, support and survivability.

I don’t know if I imagined this or misread it somewhere, but is there any plans for new lengendary weapons being added to the game?
I only ask because I would quiet like a legendary and I am an engineer so I am limited for weapons anyway. But I personally don’t like the pistol(which is my build) the shield is good but not an engineer looking weapon. The rifle is pretty nice but again not my build.
I appreciate the work Anet do and even if there are new weapons they may not be my cup of tea as such, especially as it’s all a matter of personal opinion. But it would be nice to know that if I wait a couple of months I may have more choice.
If anyone could give me some info it would be greatly appreciated.

top 5 of my server for raiding in the game that shall not be named.

I am just looking for a guild with some space and some drive to challenge themselves.
I am not beyond spending 30+ hours a week wiping to get progress on some serious content.

Ways to improve Teq, nerf not included

Here are my suggestions and the problems they will fix.

A slight lead up event that means if you don’t participate in you can’t get to fight Teq.
This would stop AFK and the overflow so much.

If the pre-event is included as well maybe it could be a training for teq to teach people tactics.

The turrets could be set up in sets of 3, 1 controlled by a player and 2 controlled by NPC’s. All need to be kept alive. This will stop people who are learning how to use the turrets stopping experienced players being useful.

I think these are more general QoL than a nerf.

Please feel free to add/disagree

Teq is very achievable and it’s not a nerf factor it’s a lack of people knowing/being at their keyboard issue

Class Diversity buff Idea

I think we need to try and get out of the lack of diversity I am seeing in dungeons atm.
It’s become more about the 4 warrior and 1 guardian playstyle than anything else.

Perhaps we could get a buff that increases damage output by 1% and reduce damage taken by 1% for each different class you bring along. Also if you have 5 different classes you could get a bigger bonus perhaps 8% total.

It’s just a suggestion to get more people experimenting with new classes in dungeons.

Tbh It won’t affect the player who do still go warriorx4 guardx1 style but might help out other people who don’t play those classes/pug diversity.

Please could you have a look at the way the current plan to stop people blowing through content is working.

It’s a little silly that somebody who logs in for 10-30 mins a day can get as much if not more as people who can do 4-6 hours a couple of days a week.
The second person in my example will have put in double the time commitment, for less than a third of the rewards.

Most people work on a weekly routine any way, because of work and other commitments. So perhaps Dailies could become weeklys. Working on a seven tier system. For example, when a tier is completed it will open up the next tier of achievements for you to work towards. meaning you can’t farm through all the achievements really quickly, but still manage them on one day.

Daily crafting materials- These could be changed to limited 7 per week (although I would prefer 14 ), but once per node per day. So if you want to make all your charged quartz in one day it would mean travelling to different nodes.

I say this due to the fact that I have a group of us who can log on and play together once or twice a week, Some of us are very good, just lack the time to put in daily work. so we feel that we are slowed down due to the fact we have real life commitments. Not slowed down to our lack of dedication or time in put.

If we had it as a fortnight(2 weeks) Idea it would fit in perfectly with living story and possibly give us more achievements to work towards in that time. Might even make it seem less of a job to log in every day.

The daily reward system I think is fine, with champions/dungeons, it actually works really well with the weekly idea as it gives daily players more rewards, that aren’t directly tied to progression. and will mean that groups similar to ours will farm more content rather than the same easy dungeons.

So the conclusions we have come to as a community is, We aren’t disliked by Anet, we are just misunderstood as a class?

We are struggling to find a place in game so we are balanced on the basis that if played really well we can be up there with the easier classes.

We have to suffer the “tax” of being a complex class. so it makes this more difficult as we feel we have to put in the work for average instead of great.

Few bugs to be ironed out the class and we could be pushed up to higher risk reward.

Is that what we want as a class? The higher learning curve, but once mastered we are the top class? Huge risk for the greatest rewards?

Please tell me this is not motivated by the Torment rune nerf.
Because I have to seriously question the sanity of someone who didn’t think this would get a very swift nerf. There’s situations where a nerf is unexpected, and there’s situations where every day something isn’t getting nerfed I’d have to wonder whether the devs even know about it.

So your process was to make an assumption, then use that as the basis of your argument?
It was never about the Torment nerf because that’s not anything to do with engineer. Also Technically that was an exploit. NERF ACCEPTED

The point that was made is that for what I have seen an OP build engineer gets latched onto very quickly.

People have personal opinions and Agreed that Celestial gear isn’t “The best” if you roll one way and not just for engineers. The point was Eng and Ele that jack of all trades are offered a set of gear, which is very nice, We must wait to get it. No other gear is like this. That’s the issue. It’s the only fully gated set of gear. If all gear was this way it would be acceptable.
Check the dps and surviability you could get with celestial gear it’s pretty good.

Stability is available with a turret, but again it’s on a turret which is broken atm. So maybe one fix could hit both problems?

I never said we are unbalanced. What I was saying was that when we find something relatively good with a very specific purpose we get hit hard, without really considering the source of the complaints.
It makes us as a community very weary of sharing builds. It seems that every time what is considered an OP build crops up we are instantly the focus of every other class, being under represented we then have to have a fun time of waiting for the hammer to drop.

The best example I have seen of this is 100nades as a build, was easily avoidable and high damage, one photo-shopped image appears and the build was attacked.
We have other builds cropping up which are causing certain classes issues, because of the publicity of it and the relative under-representation of the class. Nerfs calls get larger votes for, rather than objectively looked at.

I totally agree we are just in a confusing zone at the moment and Was hoping that concerns raised will give Anet areas to look at rather than a moan about fixing them as such.

We are a patient bunch, just seems that we are maybe being too patient. especially when it comes to turrets and down skill bugs.

Also, The Flamethrower doesn’t get reflected back. Nor does elixer guns fumigate. Nor toolbelt skills or skill 4 on dual pistols. you just have to pay attention to what you use when you see reflects. Its not really a problem to me honestly. Then there is also toolbelt. Just magnet the person reflecting and smack him in the face.

Yes I also will happily agree there are other thing you could use to avoid the reflect, part of the game is to be adaptable. I think it’s just odd that with a class where you make a build that could be built around having only one weapon, it means you have to sacrifice something to have a chance to do any damage. It’s not so much that as a the issue as a whole. We have only ranged weapons with limited range, that get thrown in with the long ranged weapons. It’s a balance issue. How can you balance something as ranged but remove the ranged part of it? If we had the standard range on our weapons of the traited range, then the traited range added on top of that, I think balance wouldn’t be so much of an issue.

I already have a full celestial set. and it only took 30 days to craft. Not 2-3 months. 5 days per piece X 6 Armour pieces = 30 days. 40 days if you’re going for celestial weapons as well although to be honest there is such a thing as too much celestial stats. So its not that bad.

Now, add accessories, rings and amulet. 5 days per piece x 5 = 25 days add that to your 40 days we are at 65 days. 2 months of logging in everyday, most people will miss a couple of days and the odd slip up of that awkward thing called life. you are looking at 2 months if you get every day. or closer to 3 months if you have other commitments.

I am asking this in all serious because of the following reasons.

1. Turrets are still broken. – Bugs from all sides, terrible health and still being one-shot by any real form of aoe.

2. Celestial gear- This is almost perfect for the idea of playing an engineer, Takes 2-3 months to farm a whole set….. through crafting.

3. Our downed skills- Pretty week and not viable in almost any situation due to bugs, LoS issues and generally everyone having some form of stability/immunity to our abilities. Even mobs are teaming up to block us some times.

4. The lack of consistent stability- no explanation needed.

5. The Ranged Weapons- We suffer from the horrible mechanic of reflected projectiles, but our only standard weapons choices are all ranged based. Also our ranged abilities have very little range (pre-trait) even then the only part with range is rifle #1.
side note I know we will be getting new weapons in the future. Also all the abilities on them are pretty poor, Condi pistols? with around 1 second of conditions on each weapon(pre condi duration) meaning we can have maybe 3 seconds? It’s a little bit under powered.

6. Champion weapons skins/Legendary weapons skins- There is no pistol skins in the new champion loot bags. The rifle skins are nice, but half of them are from WvW. Also we are being looked into for the legendary issue. but I still see it as annoying.

7. limited backpack skins and being told they’ll fix them now- This is great and a nightmare at the same time. If this was announced in Flame and frost I would’ve spent hours farming the backpack skin. I didn’t because there was no point as I would never see it as I mainly use kits.

8. The Nerf hammer- Other classes have been smashing PvP, PvE and WvW for almost a year now. As soon as an Eng joins them it seems those classes scream out and the nerf hammer comes crashing down. Meaning we as a community are to afraid to help each other as we think “OMG I have found this great build, oh if i tell everyone it might get nerfed. better keep quiet” Whether this is intentional (which we know it isn’t) or not. It seems our build diversity of great builds is slowly disappearing. Nerfing one build does affect others.

Now the engineer class has some great mechanics, game play and all round awesomeness, It’s just the little things that could be improved in general.

We do appreciate the work Anet put in but we are feeling a little left behind.

If any of this could be looked into I think the community as a whole would be happy bunnies.

I think this needs to be toned down a little. or at least more balanced, perhaps doing a % of the damage you do back at you.

I am being killed by this a lot. It’s not so much on an issue if it was possible to monitor even buff on every enemy in the new group events, but it’s not.

For example I was playing FT Eng. Each tick of my flame ability wakittenting for around 170-210. This hit’s 10 times. Now that’s fine not saying it need a boost or anything but the mobs were retaliating with 317 per hit per mob.
That means I was dealing 1700-2100 to each mob and I was being hit for 3170 per mob.

Well when you do the maths in that short burst of damage I am putting out. If there’s 3 mobs with retaliation I have lost half my health.

Now I think PvP players will agree if retaliation hits 317 per hit received on a hit of 5-7k is too low, but 317 is too high for a hit of 180. add lag and before I have a chance to do anything about it I am dead.

I would like to hear if anyone is having issues.

Account bound Items for guild.

Simply put, could we have an option to allow account bound Items to be traded to members who have been part of our guild for say 2 weeks.

This is a suggestion because me and my friends have a smallish guild and we work together to get stuff done, sometimes we have items that are account bound that could be useful to spread about. instead they are sat in one persons bank as I know personally I have no use for them, but someone else may need it.

If there’s a 2 week cap, then it would mean people couldn’t exploit it to steal your valuable items still. but could be helpful.

Any input on the subject would be appreciated.

mounts would work if for example they took lots to craft or buy them from the Gem store and gave you bonuses.

Speed- you could have perm swiftness as long as you weren’t in combat or on a road.

Crafting- You could have them as a crafting table for one choice and bank access.

Have it to represent your guild for WvW this would make games a little more fast paced. It could help you catch up with your teams as well.

Have it as a gold dump/mat dump. Craft bonuses with lots of materials to create a camp for bonuses. Karma, gold find, MF or damage, defence and healing bonuses. For when you are doing dungeons/fractals or guild bounty. similar to guild banners.

They do already have mount type things in the game.
Golem’s for Asura
Shapeshifting for Norn
The magic broom
The vehicles that appear around Orr.

They wouldn’t work in PvP but in WvW and general roaming they would help a little.

It’s just another part of the game where you could make something unique.

It wouldn’t be game breaking to have them. and may give some people an alternative for farm instead of a legendary

Personally I would say try 20/20/0/30/0
best balance, and even with Elixir b you can might stack through the roof, traited correctly of course. I know people complain about FT but it is a good point defence alternative to BK, the knockback is pretty nice, have blind flame wall, and big burst, u can have a slight bunker whilst in it with might stacks from juggernaut. Also flamewall plus lgiht zone from elixir and it’s blast finisher means more might and almost perma retaliation

But then again if u want to go more BK go through the explosive tree. It’s just overall better for using the BK without it It seems a little weak.

The final option is to drop into the toolkit line for having a free stunbreaker/big’ol bomb when u travel past 25% health, might save your life, speedy kits is always a little helpful, add to that the heal from med kit (5kish twice when being burst is handy)

Pistol Condi Duartions

Will this be being addressed?

Not to complain, but I actually quite like the elixir P/P condi build. The problem I am suffering is that even with Condi duration at max, they just seem to fall off too quickly.

I know I shouldn’t compare other classes, but necro is probably the other pure condi build, doing horrbile stacks of everything.

I am just wondering if anyone knows if it’s actually possible to get 25 stacks of bleed on just pistols? I think the most I have seen is around 10 but that takes a full 5 seconds to get on and then it’s actually only nine. (based on 100% condi duration and no sigils)
Even with procs etc, reasonably you could hit 15-18 stacks but over a very long time and if u get procs a lot. I think that is working entirely on just using the 1 ability.

Personally I think they need to be increased from 2.5 seconds to around 4 across the board. at least then it would be possible to stack condition with the pistol.

Anybody else got an opinion on this?

This is for PvE, not PvP.

I personally avoided farming a lot of the content for skins because the time and effort was pointless for getting a skin that could never be seen.
Same reason half my legendary materials were sold on the Black lion, why waste all that time collecting them for a skin I won’t see.

Now with the change, it seems I’ll miss out because something was overlooked.

Yea I like that hobosack much better than the ones I get from my kits. That’s like the mother of hobosacks. Unfortunately, it’s going to clip with my ToolKit, creating a wonky hybrid kit that looks like crap.

And the jetpack was bar-none the coolest back item Anet has made and bar-none the hardest one to attain.

I tend to agree that engineers can be great but again it’s seems that due to that little bit of undertuning and RNG we are suffering.

There are some nice builds out there but as I mentioned they do very specific jobs very well.

Maybe just haven’t found the right role build yet.

Once again nice feedback, shows that engineers have a good attitude.
Maybe we’ll get that little bit of love soon

I have been playing around with various builds in pvp, I’m finding it very worrying.

Engineers are very good at a lot of things individually, but we get put into one build we literally can’t do anything else.

I was in a bunker build and found my damage was so poor that killing anything was almost impossible. It wasn’t so much will I win more how long until they kill me.

While doing a more high damage build I found that killing things was now possible, but if I was even looked at I was taking down in 2-3 seconds.

If you try to balance out the 2 its laughable. You get neither and suck at both.

Is it just me that is finding this? are we too reliant on other classes to do the jobs we should be able to?

I know in tpvp games the Eng is very strong, as being left on our own is very few and far between. but in spvp we are just literal cannon fodder. This is making it very difficult to even get some kind of “Practice” in when I know we are too weak.

I don’t wanna hear the “Oh but there’s this one build that you can do 25k burst if the planets align and the other player falls asleep” We should be able to at least use all our skills.

These are the biggest issues I have found.

Toolkit- the risk/reward of wrench toss is terrbile poor damage for a very slow moving target. as we are too squishy for it to stand up in melee.

Bomb kit- Needs to do massive damage, if it’s avoidable it should punish. I have seen multiple players just stand in it and almost ignore the damage.

Elixir X- such a long cast, really weak as we can be burned down quickly in it…. not even a stun breaker?! seriously would be best as a stun breaker.

Flamethrower- too easy to dodge… without a dodge. Stand close enough to us “miss miss miss miss” stand slightly to the side “miss miss miss miss” see the animation “200, evade, miss miss” and the damage is poor to say the least. The chance of burn should be higher.

The biggest issue I have found though is once again Downed skills.

  1. terrible damage, and chill spams? it won’t save us
  2. Pull towards us for free stomp? don’t mind if I do.
  3. I’m not sure about this one…… I’ll let you know when I get it off CD.

I appreciate that this sounds like a rant, but I do love my engineer. I just feel that we are the jack of all trades that needs to be opened up a little more.

How can we be a versatile class when we have to go down set traits to use 1 kit?
How can we compete when other classes can do the same traited role as us… just stronger?

Would appreciate some feed back. If possible try and avoid the standard, re-roll or L2P comments they aren’t helpful. I am invested in playing my Eng. Just would like it to be a more rounded class.

Could we have some kind of option to have the kits as a small add-on to our current weapons?

For example if you have a rifle you get the dragons head on the end for flamer thrower, or Purple vat on top for elixir gun.
For pistols could we just shoot the abilities out of our pistols? with small madified ammos?

Or even better have it so the current skins for FT and EG are for rifle.

If u have pistols you get some kinda of huge handcannon similar for EG with glowing Elixir bullets in the chamber ( see picture)

And maybe some kind of blow torch style pistols for FT.

Also could we have the option to remove the big backpacks…. maybe have an option for a belt?

How to make turrets viable again

The issue I have with Turrets is the fact they can’t move.

Why should they?

Because of the wonderful nature of everything having an aoe that just blows them all up almost instantly…. followed by you looking like a fool for the next 45 seconds.

Tbh I think you have an ok build.

I would suggest trying HGH FT and EG with elixir B.

I haven’t had any issues with survivabilty.

It’s a toughness, vitality, condition, power, precision build balance. but works pretty well.

With FT and elixir gun its silly not to have might stacking.

I use carrion rabid and rampager gear, aiming for around 1000 power 1000 condi and 50% crit chance.

45% boon duration (85% might with runes) and 50% condi duration with food (33% burn with napalm.)

If you wanna jack of all trades this works well.

I haven’t tried yours tbh. but looks to have potential.

How to make turrets viable again

The issue I have with Turrets is the fact they can’t move.
Perhaps we could have a new buff for them. or way to play.

Call it Turret armour.
Have it as a trait.

You mount the turrets onto your body.
With slightly different abilities of each.

Thumper turret-reduces your incoming damage similar to Dolyak of a warrior. Overcharge ability is the same.

Rifle Turret- Does the same as it does now but with reduced accuracy. or Has a duration and a CD pretty short though.

Healing turret.- same as now just attaches to your back pack. maybe toned down(becomes a passive/active heal button)

Flame turret- Same as now. no need to change as its short range makes it more viable.

Net turret- Should just become the same as toolbelt skill, just on a shorter CD.

Toolbelt skills for turrets should become armour plating increasing toughness by 200 for each one used. it is only temporary and causes a 30 second cd on turrets used.

I don’t mind so much the randomness of the toss elixir.
But I think the actual use should be RNG free.
Also I think when we use our Elixir skill and we throw the bottle it should do a small aoe version of it with 25% of the duration we have for other players.

Instead of RNG maybe we could get the choice of which buffs we throw.

Personally I use FT, EG and a Elixir B, HGH build.
I have

Juggernaut, napalm and vulnerability on crit
Burning on crit
Elixir duration, recharge and HGH

Roam in flamethrower, have 10 stacks of might the whole time. You can stack 25 might pretty quick.
Use all you Elixirs on CD, swap to EG for more support. (EG can be switched for another Elixir)
Pistols for more conditions.

I play with a combo of rabid, rampager and carrion gear.

Balanced between Power and Condi with 50% crit chance.

Veggie pizza or koi food

Might duration runes strength x2 and hoelbrek x2 and boon duration water x2
Sigil or battle and Earth I believe are the best for condi stacking.

This die pretty quickly in this build, and you have quite high surviability with 200 toughness in FT and EG can keep you ticking health

I like this idea, It was upsetting to miss out on the Flame and frost back item because I had exams etc those weeks.
Would be nice to take other people with me through it again, just to finish achievements etc.
I realise that certain time based events shouldn’t be included like Halloween, but story missions I would love to get a hold of.
