I honestly think Anet needs to track the stats of which active accounts are still on servers number wise, and then also track which ones go into WvW, and which accounts do not go into wvw.

One thing that Anet does well is track data. However since they have NCSOFT has their big boss, most of the data cannot be released to the public. Only general information will be released to the shareholders.

We as consumers will get nothing unless Collins says so.

However, my spider senses tell me that they will introduce “alliances” for wvw to act as though its a new item (like changing the color tags of commanders) and brag about it in the srping release pack of 2015 and make a big deal out of it.

IM sure they were but into LS team to help whit the WvW stff what was but into SW.

If the info i manage to get is right then there won’t be any WvW related updates coming till 2016.
Mostly sPvP, from next year more LS ofc and might actually c few new dungeons. Oh and smthing smthing about a raid in pve.
Next season will be january or february 1 month long whit more achivments.

Have fun in wvw while it’s still up because by the rate we loosing ppl there wont be any left after next year.

It will just be like DAoC. But atleast that game started its great decline only about 3 to 4 years after.

It get’s really hot at 600-900 in a fight. Only so much a d/d ele can do to clear condi and heal. Staff ele with 1200 can do quite a bit, and run away like a … with all the stacks.

With stacks, a proper build , you could get a dnd ele with 3000power, 3150armour,22kvit,perma protection, cantrips and the awesome joy of
condi cleansing , finishers,heals,aoe,etc. Its really fun. But it wont be a full cele build.

Staff is preferred though. Just the DnD can go any style. Chnage your gear and become 1v1 killer. Or a havoc mate or a frontline pusher. Note, the staff can 1v1 but you really have to be really good and the enemy bad. But thats what fgs is for as well if you caught on your staff in a 1v1 situation.

I don’t think merging wvw servers would be a good idea. It would end up being a major cluster-f***, imo. And rather than offering free transfers, as Dayra suggested above…..maybe just reduce the price of transfers for a short time.

I transferred just recently from Kaineng to Tarnished Coast, and wvw is now absolutely wonderful! Have had to deal with one long que on reset night, other than that, I just love T1 wvw!!!

Much, much better than spending 30 minutes in wvw just looking for other people. That was getting really tiresome.

I am happy you enjoy T1. Its been an awesome 2+ years for many fo us. Also for those considering transfers, also consider T2. Right now we have BG,TC,JQ,YB,FA,SOS,DB. It would be nice if 2 more servers could be added to the list so that we can convince Gold to be kitten and T3.

• They are now in the process of implementing the approved suggestions from the last CDI
• We are going to see performance changes in WvW
• Some more class balancing

I think a Major Update is due March or sometime before Season 4.

And dont forget Anet considers WvW important but not as important as sPvP as they really want GW2 to become the next Dota

IUf you going 4 and aiming for that hybrid 02246 then soothing wave and cleaninsing wave. Please note its a troll build and works decently in wvw. No clue about spvp.

Are we due for an appealing alternative to FGS elite. Yes

But the elite should be something the class lacks. Something group orientated.
We already have good aoe heals. aoe damage and aoe knockbacks.

How about +50% increase to all boons with AOE effect with 300units for 20 seconds on a 120 sec reuse timer

DnD are hardcore but hittng for 10k means u can drop like a fly, but being way too tanky means u do not really assist much. In the past, eles were scary beasts, today they are a nuisance though some are dung beetles.

Go build a canon at one of the ruins. Cap said ruin. Hide at canon on top said ruin. Have fun.

Yeah T1 is very different. First theres near constant 24/7 action. Been this way for 2+years. Second you can always choose your playstyle though if you are looking for outright fair fights 24/7 you will not find it. Lastly, theres alot of intense map hopping and TS is a core requirement. And let us not forget that many of the players in T1 have been fighting each other for over 2 years now so we are kindda like one big disgruntled loving family.

If you are looking to bully players , go to EOTM , if you looking for unfair and sometimes fair fights, got WvW. They dont call eotm newbie town for nothing.

They are on only when requested by upper management to look into a particular ticket taht is massively game breaking i.e. Like the gold seller with 9 accounts that was auto botting to farm gold.

In all honesty , Anet should allow free transfers between t4 to t8 if they are not going to merge.

But in return scale the gem cost to

t1 = +175% increase in gem cost
t2 = +125% increase in gem cost
t3 = No increase

Im not really sure whats going on , but t3,t4,t5 and t7 matchups this week are out of whack.

I heard they are busy implementing our WvW CDIs. So last time we waited one year and got commander tag color changes. Cant wait to see what another year brings. So stoked

There is no world vs world sub-forum that was removed a long time ago You may wish to try gw2wvw.net for that.

For JQ during SEA , u could apply to MERC, KA, SADS,PINO,SOX,WvW and a few more. Consistent action in T1 during this timezone. Its very hard to now say who has the greatest number during sea but TC and BG both have large forces. So does JQ. So chose what makes you happy

Do not expect nothing but do not get too excited. 2+years of GW2 as taught us that.

Depends. Works in small roaming wvw grps but not in gvgs because mostly of what the guy above said.

So here are a summary of points

• NA and EU are both suffering from PPT inertia
• Server overstacking causes the enemies to focus less on PPT since PPT is a number game
• Anet has not done anything substantial to reduce the focus on PPT in WvW. This has not changed in the last 2 years
• Population of this game is dwindling badly
• There are some variations between EU and NA Tier 1
• Tier 1 is a crapazoid tier
• No one can truly agree on what course to take.
• Fuzz rockz and we love him

Anet has a problem.

They want GW2 to be an esports better than Dota.

But they are sitting on a gem called WvWvW.

However, they really need to add an objective like a massive relic raid(orb raid) to create desires to play more wvwvw.

Seasons just does not cut it when the prize is a bunch of tickets.

We are seeing declines across all Tiers in NA.

You mean teasing us since 2007 about WvWvW? 6 years is a long tease imo 0_o

EOTM was meant for the seasons. Given that the only folk that que maps are BG , it has no purpose save for killing noobs

Pre-Beta GW2 – WvWvW would be a massive focus
2+yrs later – WvWvW has a team of 1 dedicated dev
