Builds come in a variety. You can get close to 3k power with might and stacks, 22+k HP, 3k armour with 60% crit 200%crit damage and waste most enemies.

My advice is not to follow the meta. The meta works for pvp but for wvw you can easily do better.

Mix it up, dont be afraid to die and make sure your mouse comes with atleast 5 buttons

Sword followed by Pistol. A warhorn would be hilarious. Maybe for shout buffs.

This question was asked some 10 years ago by the community in DAoC which also had WvWvW(RvRvR).

Generally, it wasnt met with much happiness but then again it also meant more fights.

It was realm pride that hit DAoC the most rather than merging servers.

So reflecting all this onto gw2, i do not see much harm. Just look at the pseudo wvw AKA eotm.

It works ( for some , it makes alot of a difference ) IF you stay outside of america. It also has a free trial.

Also ensure your ISP is not throttling your usage.

Im not sure what language that is in, but some your tittles are awesome!

I use nomads for trolling , when the group im in already has an excess of DPS or when i am pushing in zerg fights on a DnD. Mind you not pure nomads. Its just a mix with celestials and knights.

There is also a saying, dead DPS is no DPS. Zero contributions. So if your group is happy with you being the bait, enemies will get fooled the first time by targeting the DnD ele first but next time they will ignore you and hit your weaker mates first.

So there are pluses and minuses.

Choose ER over SoR. Grab some additional AF. Around 2.8k. DnD spec. Decent damage output is a must. Celestial with some knights and kav will do the trick. LF is a must including stability.

The question is how do you fight two? Well unless they are dumb and standing together most will melt.

Fighting 3? You have better chances fighting 2 thieves at one go.

They actually had to rework the proposed changes. There needed a balance between small scale fighting, sPvP and ZvZ.

Enjoy the PvE content in GW2 until you are atleast level 60.

At lvl 60, join a zerg train and have some fun.

Wear defensive Armour and trait defensively.

Swap weapons for berserk, rest cele. Safe. Remove more cele as required until you are satisfied.

the closest thing to a viable signet build IMO involves aura share and the fire aura on signet use trait, but even then, it suffers from the same thing all non-cantrip builds suffer from – it doesn’t have cantrips, so survivability is low without really bringing a lot to the table.

In the end you want max stats with mobility. Celestials provide all that with 00266,02066,02246. Throw in cantrips and kaboom, your natural born dnd ele is here.

For that reason , we have not had many viable builds because Anet does not know how to resolve the non-staff build eles.

We live on boon duration, condi cleansing , moderate passive regen and mobility.

-Anet wants to head into the direction of condi damage over direct burst damage so we need to clear condis. ER does help but it would then affect…

- Mobility they nerfed RTL to extreme portions. Nerfed Mist and instead attempted to buff us with signets.

once you remove arcane wand water lines from builds you are then heading into burst high dps segments. Better hope you are in a good group that can cover mistakes.

signet builds are not new. They have been in the game for a long time with the most common being 02246. However your build is a little different and looks more fun.

I could design my ele to kill class X 99% of the time. That does not mean my class is OPed. GW2 allows you custom build your ele to suit your needs/group/setups

Dire,Condi cele ele. But with some of the minor nerfs, and ease to cleanse our condis , its not very interesting long term. Fun for short term kittens and giggles

Do not leave TC. They need as much quality roamers as possible.

The CPU seems to be on par with an entry level i5-3XXX

With blob fights , a high end PC still tries to maintain high FPS with MAX settings while in other games that have just been released run 60fps just nicely.

The video card will run gw2 but do not expect 780ti standards.

Even though my ping was only reduced from 50 to 30ms, it completely removed lags and skill delays, even in really big zergfights.

Sad that i have to use an additional program in order to play gw2 as intended.
Game is unplayable without WTFast for me.

• What server are u connecting to? Is texas LV1 the best? I feel like connecting to a LA server rather than a TX server seems to reduce ping better.

• for zerg fights, i find that i can now detect incoming zergs earlier by way of lag than without. Is that how NA players playing on NA feel as well?

I get ping down from 230 to 190-200. I live in asia. For the best results how should i setup wtfast for WvW? I am using fiber optics.

First, go with celestial for trinkets.

Then calculate your armour and weapons thereafter

Necros are easy with ER. Combine that with beans and hoelbrak and you have the perfect dnd necro killer.

Possible to run a viable DnD auramancer but it requires a little sacrifice

The wvw maps are simply too small for these kinds of vehicles. Its not going to work. If they where 100-200% larger perhaps… but thats not going to happen in GW2. I have high hopes that GW3 will make WvW bigger, better and introduce vehicles (charr tanks, airships and ships, everything we see in GW2 PvE). But thats about as far as I go. And its no doubt years away.

Dev comfirmed GW3 will be later than 2020.

Instead of merging low pop servers they should merge BL maps. 3 BL maps +SM is too much for low tiers.

Make it 1 BL + SM + New HoT map.

For removing BLs, note that in T1 , 2 maps can get ques during NA and SEA. So removing 1 BL will be a problem. However i do look forward to how they will fix the problem with another wvw map in the rotation. From dev internal response, they do not want another eotm

GW2WVW.NET is not the unofficial wvw forums. It is the officially directed site when the official wvw sub-forums were closed. Anet directed folks to that site if they wanted to discuss gw2 wvw stuff. Sometime, about 6 months later they stopped doing so.

Yes , ranking is based on the WvWvW players skill + population + strategy .

Anet could merge the servers but it will not as it will only show defeat. Instead they will work on future mega-server systems for wvw maps to save face.

Unlike DAoC (During its pre-merger state), GW2 permits you to move you and your entire friends to any server which is not full. Or if full, wait for blackouts or of-hour time peaks.

Anet servers work in the cloud so resources are easily available to growing servers or shrinking servers.

I still think, that it would be wise to give some the lower tiers free transfer window periods before it is too late.
