earth /water/arcane + signets + cleansing fire + sor + half cele/half dire +balth runes + condi sigils/food still works in 2015 just like it did in 2014. Only difference is that burning was buffed and yes you can run arc/water + fire + earth but it becomes more risky.

Meta condi build hybrid is full condi with legion runes with full cantrips/sor + cele gear with weapon sets being dire. You will still out dps a high dps player but not a full zerk

Come to T1 where there are no daily GvGs but just large small scale combat.

You should aspire to have all celestials for trinkets
Weapons should be dire/zerks
Armour should be cele/dire/zerks/cavs

Wouldnt it be a good idea to sell cards with unlimited use where the player and enemy can have an agreed duel and to outsiders, their toons turn grey and u can not interupt them or fight them ?

The greatest enemy for the annoying mesmer is condi burst.

DnD eles in WvW are average. Not OP but not crap. In PvP i heard its a little different.

After 3 years of Gw2 ele, trying everything, every trait,spec,rune,etc I am nt quitting ele because tempest is not as OP as other elites. But it would be fun to try a different class since I have nothing but eles.

Well it could be worse. We could be facing the trapper rune problem

I think glicko needs more excitement. Also i think Anet needs to stop looking at their data sheets and look at what the community thinks by way of in-game poll

S/F works much better in roaming wvw

S = Good single target damage
F = Good Def
D(main hand) = Good Cone/aoe/Single close range damage with CC/Retal
D(Offhand) = Massive aoe burn/dps/single target damage + knockbacks +gap closer

As someones said above, wait until HoT. The games mechanic on condi is broken at the moment.

You do not need ascended for Armour. But you will need celestial for trinkets which you get free with laurels.

Also its not hard to get ascended armour for all items. Just takes time and gold

Whatdo you mean, when? The system is inplace already and that’s exactly the point XD It’s the new system that makes full servers nearly permanently full, or at least until enough people leave them.

Hot release will see good tweaks to the system.

Do you realize that with D/D Ele, spamming Air #1 can get you an expected dps of 2500 per second (since you hit twice per second)?

That means you get the same 15k dps after 6s without locking you out of an attunement. If you use a staff, it’s even more dps if you use a Staff just purely by spamming Fire 1/2/3.

There is no good incentive to Overload except for showing off beautiful animation.

Not to mention burning damage(estimate around 1k per second) + Bleeds (throw in 400) plus Air1 at a consertive 2k = 3.5k/sec = 21k damage in 6 seconds. But targets are never that stupid to stand there and recieve the full brunt. Unless we are talking about pve. Not sure about pve. Maybe tempest was made for pve?

Hitting with Lightning Whip constantly is much easier than hitting with Fire Overload and can’t get screwed over by a single CC…
If Tempest was made solely for PvE, then it’s a gigantic failure; doesn’t even come close to competing with Staff in any role except maybe Boon Sharing, which shouldn’t be an issue in 5-man content anyway.

You can burst burn while spamming A1.

For boon sharing, thats what some eles are telling me about the strengths for the upcoming changes.

I find bumping it to 1300 gives good added pressure

Celes give basic 7++.

I find that SoR heal regen + Direct damage pressure + How anet messed up condi so therefore using condi pressure = total dps outdoes direct dps. Moreso once guard stack nerf kicks in.

Japan gets 160 to 220ms
SEA gets 180 to 270ms
India gets SEA rates
Australia is 150+

All when connecting to NA without VPN/WTFast

So if you see 300ms in EU, I would say its client side/your ISP

I see you condi is 286.

Now what is the acceptable level of condi (after stacks but before might) for the Fire Meta Build

Some say 800 to 1000. Others 1.5k.

Running dire can get you over 2.5k but you hit like a puss.

So what is the condi level a fire dnd meta ele should run?

What stats are you running?

Without might but full stacks i like my condi somewhere around 1.3 to 1.5
Power 2.2k
Healing around 500 for SoR or 300 if ER
AF 2.6k to 2.8k
Crit – Min. without fury 30%
Crit damage – 180

Also runes and sigils. Like legion/balt/perplexity. Sigil +20% burn. Food – condi. /standard.

T1 has a huge collection of EU/OCX/SEA players. ANything Anet does to disrupt this would have a profound effect
