They still havent fixed the Northcamp and garry exploits where u cant get damage. Its been 3 years since closed beta.

Season 4 is a month or maybe 2 months away.

So its hard to say what will happen.

JQ is the oldest T1 server in GW2 and we have had our ups and downs.

Currently, TC has the largest population followed by BG then JQ. But being in
T1 for 2 years , the times have changed alot. There are no precedence to the current trend. Unlike the same period last year, the overall WvW population of gw2 has declined a lot consolidating the numbers in the upper tiers. The difference is very stark.

So Anet must intervene or matchups will just be dead uneven.

I still think placing a giant in one of wvw BLs with a 0.01% chance to drop a non account bound stone that permits a full WXP reset , and is like level 90 requiring atleast 50 players to take him/her down would be awesome.

It has become a trend in GW2 to create two accounts.

You can zerg as DnD in high sustain builds providing fields and blasts.

You will need to however change all your utilities to cantrip

But the staff ele is still far more useful in GvGs and proper ZvZergs fights than DnD.

Remember one thing though. As a DnD Ele, you possess the power of an avatar and can bend all 4 attunements to your will. Bring harmony and balance to your world.

There are huge differences between T1 and T2 and T3. T4 to T8 I am not sure how far apart each are

T1 – jq,bg,tc
t2 – db,fa,yb,sos
t3 – nsp,ioj

This is just a rough guess based on past performance.

Sometimes for fun there are lowbie nights in WvW. But thats in the BLs. EoTM is newbie lane so u r going to find lowbies. But then again no one takes eotm seriously.

The devs know what GvG is.

But you have to remember, if they fund GvG, they lose some sPvP.

It is not a secret that sPvP is far more important to anet than anything else and i
believe this came from NCsoft because looking at their line up of games they really
have nothing in their portfolio that is comparable to an “e-sport” save for their belief
in sPvP for GW2. Good thing is, wvw will benefit indirectly.

So the conclusion is yes , you can use a DnD ele, but if you could, choose a guard or warr.

Your first step is to join a reputable guild. Following which , you will be provided with all the information you need.

I met some new players in JQ from SoR last weekend around NA time. They had just left SoR. They are looking at rebuilding their guild , i think it was [Rite] from SoR players and any1 else. Nice friendly bunch.

Yes the players suggestions are mixed, but that’s only because Anet failed to give the same this players direction for they suggestions, by not sharing anything with us, how we can focus our suggestions if they don’t give us something to focus on?

Why do people always ignore all the changes/additions to WvW when they talk about development?

Claiming we have had absolutely nothing for WvW is blatant lying.

We have gotten changed borderlands.
We have gotten a progression system.
We have gotten additions to said progression system.
We have gotten a completely new map.
We have gotten a overhauled queuing system.
We have gotten new ways to fight and defend.

All these things have been added based on feedback of the players. Claiming that is absolutely nothing is ridiculous.

Maybe. But the recent feature pack was a big let down. Everyone and his dog were talking about something massive coming to WvW. When we found out we were jjust getting commander tag color changes, alot of us got saddened.

Yes its actually way more feasible to run a solid cantrip bunker dnd build for commanding over staff, as staff dwellers are backliners or sideliners and commanders need to direct the flow of the zergs force which is why guards and warrs still make awesome commanders

1v1 and 1vX all depends on who you are fighting and what they bring.

I would generally suggest the thief. It requires medium skill for maximum gain.

DnD ele requires maximum skill for medium high gains.

There are some exceptions. So cant really answer the question i.e. I have seen crap Mesmers kill moderately skilled warriors.

name me a current game with better WvWvW and combat than gw2. At this moment none.
unless you count DAoC which doesnt cut it for me anymore.

So here we are again.

Anet is making huge profits from GW2 CN in terms of royalties
They have dumped incredible resources into sPvP
They make a lot of the gem store.
PvE makes good revenue and keeps the PvE players happy

If you do wvw you don’t really need any celestial armour…

Soldier/Knights armour and celestial accessories…. berserker or knights weapons ( I use knights)

You will still need cele accessories but your armour could be knight cav and weapons zerk,etc whatever u like.

So no escaping from cele kitten.

Cantrips.

• Used by staff eles in WvW Gvg and Zerg fights for positioning and survival

• In DnD , you only need AoEarth and LF for combos and pushes. DnD eles are the initiators of most fights like hammer warriors, so u really want your stability up when it counts.

• In SnF and SnD just take LF. You have good medium range and will need to know that you are going to be doing a lot of damage and some CC

• cantrip mastery is a must

• full signet builds without cantrips are possible but they are troll builds and not easy to play

• LF is your bare min,

• Mist is the least needed post nerf

PPl learnt that sustain and power for a dnd were better than burst and crit for a dnd ele.

So prior to the boon nerf , this was all the rage.

Then came the hardcore Condi meta that everyone and their neighbours started using so then became the need to change from signet of restto. to ER. At the same time came celestial gear and the boon nerf.

We have been smashed into the ground, but those that have remained eles for over 2 years enjoy the class alot. 80% of the eles i knew now no longer play ele. Hence why ele is in high demand in most guild groups.

If not PvE , WvW for begineers should start with a mixture of cleric and soldier and use cheap free AC runes you can get(water) runes after some runs. Minus condi food.

You should look for a real build after that.

SnF benefits from damage output.

So does SnD

DnD requires sustain and damage

Staff requires what DnD requires but can forgo some sustain if you are good

I assume this is for pve?

There is no such thing as condi trash ele if traited and built and played right.

They are very rare since more prefer the celestial easy way route.

But then again the world ele and easy never sang together.

They havent even fixxed the non-nit exploit at the edges, return our orbs and expect them to fix this? Remember, it took one year, yes 1 whole year to introduce colors to commander tags. At this rate, expect bugs to be fixed in 2068.

And lets have a special colored pin for this Godzilla. And that the server that killed him will get a bonus +100 to power/vit/tuff for 30mins

If they are hacking, since i did not see the video they are using a private custom hack that only a few have. Anet is trying to rectify it i believe but its a very complex stat hack on the client side.
