Pretty sure the maths works out, it means that the old permutation of JQ/BG/SoR is just as unlikely to pop up as the old TC/FA/SoS matchup. The results going to be pretty predictable imo if the old T2 servers get matched up with the old T1 servers, won’t exactly be as bad a blowout as SoR vs Anvil rock but yeah expect a lot of blowout rounds.

Each server has to face each other server at least once.

FA and SoS and TC would only need to be in a matchup with one or more of JQ/BG/SoR over three weeks. Other four weeks can be SoS FA and TC.

[and there are 10 possible matchup combinations if you ignore borderland colour]

We still need more details as how the matchup.

Knowing Anet, it will be 6 servers using the same type of Glicko + Rng maths but only limited to just this 6 servers.

This will mean global rankings of all 24 servers will still be there but again we ont have the specific detail.

Not really true. T1 and T2 can be fun. Its just that fighting a t3 server like SoS is utterly boring.

Also Mag stands to gain from potential recruitment drives if they get into the gold league.

As for condemning people whom /laugh when they kill one random person who gets stormed by a zerg, all our ish stinks. No server is pure of that happenstance, and if someone gets joy from doing such an act, whom are you to tell them how to enjoy the play-style of their game? For all we could know, they’re RPing.

JQ has been number 1 in total medal count in tier 1 against all 23 other servers for over a year now. We have had our up days, down days, up days and so forth. The core players in JQ have and will always be the driving force in one of histories most skilled servers.

SoS makes no sense. First, we go storm FA Valley and break water gate. Then after JQ interrupts us, we retreat to base and build a ton of golems while JQ picks up where we left off. Then we try to golem rush SM while JQ is fighting FA. Before we get SM front door JQ takes Valley, and the entire JQ zerg shows up to stop us.

I wonder if the people saying these things ever considered the possibility that if they were the JQ commander with a 60-man zerg, with nothing else to cap on the map the obvious target is Overlook? The rush would work if FA held out longer, but ironically we were the ones that went and exhausted FA’s supplies.

RTL used to be hilariously OP, so I really don’t mind. A 1500 range super dash is honestly kinda nuts. Sure it was fun, but it was pretty broken.

Yeah, except it isn’t 1500 range anymore, and was never supposed to be. But instead of fixing that, they nerfed it six times, and then fixed the range bug. Seriously? Does the entire ANet staff suffer from severe dyslexia? It took them seven months to figure out that 2 was actually a 5? And can they seriously not see the technical and ethical problem with balancing something around their own mechanical failure and then fixing that failure without re-balancing it?

They nerfed RTL to 60% of the original distance. 900 vs 1500

They nerfed CD to 40sec( 20sec, yes, but how often do u want to find a grey to rtl into plus its super short range means many targets are missed)

They nerfed the gravitational pull of RTL to basically mimic someone dropping stone balls down a cliff.

Nerfing RTL was like the biggest cool factor playing a dnd ele. Now warriors are impossible to catch.

Stun warriors hate FGS. Also i found it more efficient not to bother with stun warriors. Then again im pure wvw and no jack about spvp.

I heard from some of the best thieves that 1v2 is easily plausible but 1v3 can be tricky.

Perhaps thieves may want to comment if this is, all things being equal, true or not.

Problem is not the +40% duration, problem is when people see 1 tick of bleed and they waste their condi removal.

One tick. What game are you playing? I have conditions running off my screen 90% of the time. In seconds. With perplexity runes, I have 15-20 stacks of confusion applied to me in seconds. There are big issues at play here.

The problem is the Condition casters now apply Fast Damage and are so tanky they can not be burst down. Previously, before Dire gear, perplexity runes, and recent buffs, they applied slow damage and were weaker to burst.

They are solving this run-away condi damage in the next patch.

This should really be in the ele sub-forums or trashcan.

Mag and SoS are now 9.8 points apart. It is getting very close.

We play a support role with staff —> Healing, Speed and Disruption with Staff
We can also play a solo role —> Full Bunker DnD
We can also play a small group Auramaner —> DnD /SnD
We can also play a small group DPS —>1/2 Bunker 1/2 Glass DnD
We can also play a pure DPS role —> Freash air Build with SnD

Perhaps this is what they meant by jack of all trades.

DOnt play with SnD , so not sure. But i know DnD with sigil , elemental attunement , fire combo with my boon duration gear i get an easy 7 might in the first 2 seconds of a fight and almost 20 by the end of a fight.
