Oh sure so he can take credit every time I complete a dungeon. Pfff.
As long as Cadalbolg is as big as it is now on the mini version I’m down. Until then I’m good with my Orrian chicken
This works with any gear and it is a fantastic trick to get items unbound. It is not an exploit, as the item is turned “account bound” after the switch.
Note: This method does not work for transmuting Racial armor to be used by a race other than the race intended.
Gifting is possible with items on the gem store now. Just click the little orange box. As for actual gems I think you’re sol.
Clearly Sarkhan Vol is behind this.
She isn’t a bad guy.
Also they aren’t introducing Livia in a wrap up.
That awkward moment went Kryta isn’t even real.
If she is, she’d better start teaching. Time Warp’s not enough. Not by HALF.
On that note, could you imagine how powerful Jennah’s TW would be lol.
What would really be hilarious is if Primordus was under the Great Collapse and saw all the Destroyer illusions and got confused and just came up for a little peek-a-boo during the speech.
Maybe we will see some tie-in to the Solid Ocean Fractal in regards to Cantha, current lore, and DSD champions (Jade Maw)
They will be gradually adding all weapons to all professions.

If they don’t have a skill called cremate I’ll be disapointed
The Greater Collapse
Sparcus is really Risen Bonfazz Burntfur.
I don’t know if White Mantle will be introduced this year. I doubt they will be since this LS is wrapping up. I do hope that the next major story arc introduces Mursaat/Mantle though. They deserve something epic. I can’t imagine their story not leading up to opening Ring of Fire.
I would just wait until we get more word of what the new legendary process will consist of. Certainly work on the gifts of fortune and mastery as someone suggested. There are 2 legendaries I want but I am holding off until they release at least the visuals of the new ones.
Also, stock up on t6 mats because there is high speculation that they will be used to craft the new tier of materials.
Well I’m going with the Hybrid after playing conditions forever. However I’m going with a different setup for accessories. I’ll probably use 3 ruby and 3 coral orbs as well until I find some decent runes, because I’m not putting 60g up for divinity runes.
Everyone would flock to hardmode servers and regular servers would be empty. If they introduce Hard Mode it will likely be for instances similar to GW1
I don’t believe the theories, I just think it’s fun to hear people get caught up in PR. After all, we were given Scarlet marketing earlier today and now we don’t see any more and all this Mantle stuff pops up. Why aren’t we seeing more Scarlet PR?
Regardless, I love ANet’s marketing campaigns. War in Kryta propaganda was fantastic and I’m being nostalgic. I’m excited for whatever comes though.
First of all thanks for all your efforts.
I tired a copy of this build for a while and I just didn’t see blood line helping as much as you emphasize. I went 30/30/0/10/0 just for the extra duration, not necessarily the Dhuumfire. As you said, in group content where burning is usually abundant, Dhuumfire is negligible. It does help a little on single target I guess, where this build is lacking.
30 in Spite also frees up a set of runes. I know how you feel about Dhuumfire so I’m not trying to convince you, just sharing my thoughts :p
My main question though: Would you run pure conditions instead of hybrid in higher level (20s-30s) fractals?
The hybrid build is beautiful, by the way
But like always, thanks for what you do for the community and I look forward to your work!
Of course there is the possibility that the mod is trolling by saying it’s fake :O
DUNDUNDUNNNNNNNN
Wow that’s rough. Now the White Mantle hype will wash away any excitement that the actual story brings. Too bad. I’m glad I don’t follow reddit regularly. Only when stuff like this comes up. Oh well, back to more Ellen/Jennah/Livia conspiracies.
also according to one of the posts in that thread, the mod’s response was “it’s obviously fake, but i wanted to play along”.
Can you link that post?
The reddit is spiraling out of control, and if mods are trolling something on such a large scale they will lose a lot of credibility. Not that it’s an official outlet or anything, but it has a big part in the community.
Do I honestly think the Mantle/Mursaat are going to have a part in this? Not really. I have had a huge craving for nostalgia and this hit the spot so I’m just hoping it’s going to be an interesting ride.
What is disappointing though, is that a lot of players taking this to heart are going to be severely disappointed. This hype is going to severely downplay the actual story and that kinda sucks.
The reddit post got a sticky and the reddit mods are saying they can’t comment on it. Now obviously this can be done by the mods for trololo but would they risk their credibility by posting something false that will send players into a complete nostalgiagasm?
Is anyone following the Reddit btw?
Maybe they want to be the sole destroyers of Kryta?
And again, that Ring of Fire Islands has been sitting there unexplored since launch. They mentioned permanent changes to the world but we don’t get any more info than that. New zone would fit.
This is exciting. I’m just going to continue wildly speculating outrages things.
They did, and I’m not even so sure that if they introduce the mantle they will be fighting against us. What if they are trying to counter the Aetherblades?
The Mursaat are also known as:
“Bringers of Wisdom”
“Eyes That Watch All”
“Silent Saviors of Kryta”
“The Divine Caretakers”
From GW1 Mursaat wiki entry
This might actually be legit. Mursaat. Mursaat. Mursaat. Mur freakin Saat. I wonder if our permanent content they keep telling us about is Ring of Fire opening.
Ooooh man this is getting good.
This kitten is about to get so real I don’t think I can handle it.
Logan is plotting with Anise to take the throne in the Lifetime Movie Network original, The Queen’s Speech!
After the skill plateau at lv80, the character progression is strictly cosmetic. This being the case, some of the dye options for certain armor pieces are lacking in that there are not enough parts able to be dyed.
I’m suggesting all future exotic skins (and maybe retroactively current skins) to have 4 parts able to be dyed per piece of armor.
I use Flesh Wurm as a shadow step, locust, and walk. I use a lot of Scepter 2, astaff 3 and 5, and DS 3 when possible
Don’t think first post saved: if duplicate please delete
Considering the collective knowledge int his forum I wanted to come here to talk about the possibility of the Mantle being the authoritative organization behind the Aetherblades and living story content thus far. The vandalism on the queen’s page reminded me of the PR for War in Kryta. I would be thrilled to have the Mantle introduced to us in this patch.
Is there any connection that can be made without being forced? Or has this topic popped up recently?

Akin to the hardcore PR for War in Kryta. If the White Mantle is the superior organization behind all of this I will be very impressed and excited.
Sounds like a troll
I wouldn’t do full celestial for hybrid – won’t be nearly enough damage. Take Rampager’s armor and a mix of rabid/berserker accessories.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I’m juggling between pure condition and hybrid right now because I love both builds, but feel more comfortable with conditions.
Also, Coral orbs – is this the best substitute if I don’t want to put out for Divinity runes? I’m willing to spend up to 12g on runes but I won’t put in 60
That’s fair; I very rarely PvP so sometimes I tend to forget about the ramifications of adding skills, especially to a class that is already excelling in that area. Minions on weapons is something that I was hoping for since launch, and would be a great way to make the MM a viable option. I imagined a minion master that used weapons to buff minions for damage/survival rather than to deal damage himself.
So for instance, an auto attack that empowered minions or something of the sort. It’s kind of hard to put into gameplay perspective so I didn’t put a lot of effort into fleshing it out haha.
Would be cool to see some more minion support though; here’s hoping!
Necro is the most fun I’ve had in this game since launch. I have two of them, really only play one. If you want AoE nukes that can survive through kitten near anything, I’d go condition Necro. It’s a solid build and it’s a lot of fun.
Another great thing about the Necromancer is its community. The players here have been through a lot and the changes that hit the Necro frequently have forged a community that is ready to adapt to change and prevail through the challenge of running a mediocre class. You will find a lot of great info in this forum.

My comments are strictly entertaining PvE content
The berserker/rabid combo came to me too, it’s a good way to improve the build’s condition damage without giving up too much burst damage. I’m considering Rabid accessories and and amulet, Berserker rings with a Berserker back piece . Would you agree/disagree with that combination?
Someone recently brought up a post about Nemesis’ hybrid build, and in the tutorial he suggest the player uses celestial accessories.
My question is, why did he forgo, the Rampager’s accessories in favor to celestial? I’m not sure about dates, but was the video posted before Rampager ascended gear was available? I know they added some stat combinations later on.
If there is a mathematical reason that celestial is preferable to Rampager, could someone enlighten me? Thank you!
Awesome ideas from both of you I’d love to see more selfless Necro mechanics. Someone made a thread a few months ago that mentioned turning Necromancer into kind of the antithesis to the Guardian, which is an interesting idea and one that, if you look hard enough, you can find in game (with all debuffers), such as applying vulnerability instead of group might, and weakness instead of protection.
I love playing support builds and Necro has a ton of potential in that area if fundamental gameplay changes were made to both support roles and Necromancer trait lines (specifically blood).
It would be interesting if these Auras were applied based on trait lines, maybe utilizing the 25 point minor slot in each tree and perhaps granting an ever-present passive ability.
I’ve tried it for a few weeks, and yes, it is a great build. I wasn’t able to put the money into Divinity runes so I used Coral Orbs and was not disappointed with the results, so I suppose it’s a good alternative if you don’t want to put out the gold for divinity runes. I used celestial on all accessories except for berserker back piece and rampager’s amulet with exquisite ruby, which I preferred far more to the celestial amulet.
As far as performance goes, it really is fantastic for situational combat such as fractals. The only criticism I have of the build is on long single target encounters. The single target damage is good, don’t get me wrong, but it felt very uncomfortable managing conditions and burst. Maybe it was just me. The synergy is there but you have to look for it, if you know what I mean. There are times when you wish you had better burst or better condition, but that’s understandable.
After a week or two I went back to full condition because that’s just the build I love. I was a little confused as to the decision of celestial gear over Rampager’s for accessories. I plan on trying this build again soon when I collect all the ascended rampager gear.
Love these
Sorry, forgot rate!
8/10, love sylvari light armor. Nice staff too, I’m jealous >:(

I’m assuming it will be similar to GW1 in that the exact date of character creation will be celebrated with an anniversary gift. If that is the case, any deleted characters will not be celebrated and you’ll get your gifts at the date of your earliest character’s creation.
