I’m pretty sure I read somewhere they are looking to build a system that will prevent abuse like this. Unfortunately, until then, we are at the mercy of those exploiters if we pug time consuming dungeons/fractals…
That’s why I mostly do it with my guild.
The problem is that not enough people plays in some zones, which in turns contest most Waypoint and camps. I think there should be a neutral state when there aren’t enough people around so that camps are not completely wiped out or camps not 24/7 controlled by centaurs or w/e else.
Here’s my top 3 (2 of which are already in the top list)
N°1- Combat templates (traits, weapons…): 10 votes
N°2- New weapons per class & customizable weapon skills: 9 votes
N°3- Endgame (new dungeons, raids,)
And if I could add a 4th and 5th, it would mostly be about the UI:
N°4- Fully Customizable UI
N°5- Better camera (first person, free camera, etc.)

I think your suggestion has huge potential and would encourage more smaller groups to keep all territories.
Now the only big step we’d be missing is giving a reason to prevent a double flip (not defending it and simply taking it back afterwards)…

If I had lost my Legendary, I would cry and stop playing probably… God, so many hundred, if not thousand of hours (or hundred of dollars) wasted. :S
There was no duel system in GW1. If you go with logic, it’s normal there is none in GW2.
They may put a duel system in the game later on, but don’t say you expect it in a MMO just because WoW or another MMO you played had it.
The reason they are blue is because they are common (though T6 are much rarer). I’d say they’d need to put crafting materials a new unique color to differentiate them much more easily.

This bug frustrated me so much because I was losing the “attunement” buff while making me restart from scratch. Though I finally did it in one run without falling or dying in the end.

The strangest thing is that it restart me at the asuran gate correctly when falling, then put me back to where I was when falling and then SPLAT on the ground. Seems like the trigger is working but something else puts me back in the falling position…
I really love this path (F/U) but the boss is no fun at all. The spiders are just an horrible design.
And ArenaNet wonders why everyone was glitching on the tree branch for this path… It’s so freaking not fun and hard. I would love doing all three paths but this one is just a big no until they change the mechanic… :S
I can do it fine, but it’s just long and tedious compared to other bosses. It should spawn only a few spiders on someone (like Lupicus’s grubs) if you don’t dodge it. But when there are 40 spiders, it’s no fun at all currently…
I agree that Waypoint to LA should be free. Maybe consider other cities as well too?

It’s not “hard”, it’s “challenging”! Once you grasp the concept, you can do it without dying. Though some players would die on lasers or last boss’s cannons (mostly), we never failed or wiped.
I did it 2 times with my guildies and it is so fun! I love this dungeon and would welcome it in any form of permanent content (fractal or new permanent dungeon).
Boss is easy and challenging. However, the pulling makes getting the achievement quite hard! Though I don’t mind a little challenge and will still try to get the achievement.
The dungeon is fun and amazing. I love it. No changes needed except Kiel bug fixes.
@Roman Legionary : Read the wiki about Dwarves. Eventually, ALL of the Dwarves were turned into stone, even Odgen who was the last one to be on the surface.
It will be implemented… some day. We just gotta wait until it’s done.

Seconded! I hate clugging my bag up with all my sieges. We’d just need a dedicated 6 slot WvW bag that can contains the sieges. This bag would be character bound and purchased with badges.
Would free up a bit of my stash that way
+1 for audible sound on target calling (with option to turn it off if desired).
Not that important but I think it would save a bit of time everytime as people would probably hear the sound before noticing a target change!
An auto loot will be coming in a patch sometimes but I agree that adding the option to set different hotkeys would be great. I hate talking to an NPC while trying to loot! And for those who will not use this “new autoloot” (mostly useful in WvW), that’d be better to simply have different hotkeys.
I wouldn’t mind if they had access to Lion’s Arch, but wouldn’t be able to leave the map through the Asura Gates (to other cities) or to the top or bottom map.
Since the only Mystic Forge in PvE is in LA, I think that would be better.
Oh and while we’re at it, also add :
- No WvW and sPvP progress for trial accounts (or maybe a limit of time/matches you can play with a trial account)

- 2 characters only (limited to their starting area/city, ex: Human in Kryta + DR), no Lion’s Arch
- no zone chat /m
- no Trade Post activity (buying-selling) other than viewing
- no mail sending
- max level 20
- max inventory 1 gold
- max bank 1 gold
- max tier 1 in all possible achievements
and I think we’re good. Would be just enough to get people to buy it!
Yes, but they are “weeklies” currently, I love them, but doing a Guild Bounty for 15 minutes for no reward is not fun. Or doing a Guild Puzzle for some blues, not so fun too! It’s a part of the game that should have more love. These are really fun and I’d love to have an incentive at doing them daily! The weekly reward would stay, in addition to the Zaishen bounty rewards.
Or maybe:
1) Remove chests from all missions
2) Keep weeklie reward bonus chests (containing the gold and commendations, and maybe a bonus guaranteed rare)
3) Add 1 guaranteed rares with more rewards to the Zaishen Guild Missions
So you still have to do it weekly for commendations and some extra silvers/golds, but each time you do it, you get the rares, laurels and other rewards.
I think it’s quite interesting for most people.
Great suggestion! I loved the Zaishen Bounties in GW1 and there was some great stuff we could buy from the Coins!
We need a great reward mechanic other than gold. I think Laurels fits in perfectly as karma is quite useless currently.
With laurels, we can buy a lot of things, materials, dyes, ascended items, etc.
There should be great rewards for completing the bounty too. And maybe there could be multiple types.
Example (each would be randomized from a pool of selected ones each day):
Zaishen World Bounties
1) Defeat Claw of Jormag
2) Defeat The Great Jungle Wurm
3) Defeat the Hight Priestess (Lyssa)
Zaishen Dungeon Bounties
1) Defeat Lieutenant Kohler
2) Defeat Mark T-B34RC3
3) Defeat the Nightmare Tree
Zaishen Fractal Bounty
1) Defeat Old Tom
2) Defeat the Champion Grawl Shaman
3) Defeat …
There could also be more category of bounties such as Zaishen Puzzle:
1) Complete the XYZ jumping puzzle
2) Complete the ABC jumping puzzle
3) Complete the DEF jumping puzzle
And maybe even Zaishen Guild Missions (which would grant more benefits at doing them more than once per week) :
1) Complete a Guild Bounty
2) Complete a Guild Puzzle
3) Complete a Guild Trek
We’d have like 3 bounties per category, each rewarding some bonus loot/gold/etc. We could even tie the “world boss bonus chests” to these bounties (1 bounty = 1 guaranteed drop). If you complete a set, you get more rewards and a laurel for your first set (or first 2 sets?).
Rewards could also include a chance at cores/lodestones/T6 mats/ectos/etc.
This would encourage more people actually playing the game while giving more choice at what you want to play.
It could also give out some karma, but karma being a bit useless right now (nothing really worth buying), we’d need more interesting rewards for it) if it should be considered instead of laurels. But I think laurels would fit much more nicely into this.

I think it’s fine currently. Yes, it can be harsh at start but that’s why you READ an item before buying it and that you carefully check when there is a confirmation popup. A confirmation popup is always a good sign to tell you to go back and check!
For, but NOT until 1 year or so. They have way bigger priorities currently so it shouldn’t take time from important fixes and patches. Maybe they can introduce it in next expansion?
I agree that it needs balancing. I hate sPvP for the downed state. Some classes are almost impossible to stomp while others are a joke. The downed should stay, but have much less impact on the people still alive.
Skills 2 and 3 are way too unbalanced for the sPvP, though I see less problems with WvW with zergs. They should either be removed from PvP areas or balanced better. I like the idea of “giving another chance” but when the downed state player is WAY more harder to stomp than to kill, something is NOT right. It should simply give a little help/time while allies come to aid. Currently I hate sPvP because of the current downed state unbalance but I would welcome it if downed state players have less impact on the meta game.
It is something they consider and are probably working on. We just gotta wait until they implement it.
A lot of “things that should have been there since launch” are not there yet. It’s unfortunate but we gotta deal with it for the time being.
Just take the “drinks” achievement in consideration. I need thousands if not ten thousands of drinks. Buying them 1 at a time made me stop after a while. I’m now waiting for a stack buying option.
Can I add something: I like to go in the puzzle for some PvP/duels. If they remove it, I lose my interest in WvW. I don’t like zergs, but I like small group fights. It has all rights to be a PvP area.
I’m pretty sure they will not remove the PvP from it or there would be too many free sieges.
I think it might not hurt indeed to have a “trial” account in which you are limited to: 1 or 2 character only, maybe up to lvl 20 and with no possibility to use the Trading Post/Mail system to prevent abuses (eg. free alt accounts for free farming). People could create/delete a character to find what they like and maybe buy the game (which will then give them access to everything)?

Elves are not possible lore wise. We have the sylvari which are the closest to what you ask.

Absolutely a marvelous cutscene! I hate the common “2 characters facing while talking” type of cutscene which I mostly skip, but this one, just wow! I watched it in full and was amazed at how cool it was! Please Anet, more of these cutscenes!
I would totally see it having an impact (for the best) in the game. Currently we only have WvW that gives world bonuses, but it would be great if PvE players could have a similar impact in the world. The bonuses could be decided by Anet, but the idea is great!
I totally second this idea. Karma should be seen as a currency like others but that is gained more naturally though the game. There should be more things to buy with it than karma gear, cultural weapons and obsidians.
If we consider we need at least 250 of each T6 mats for a legendary, we’d need 535,000 karma for one stack. I think the price is reasonable and would still take quite a lot of time to buy all of them with just karma.

Maybe add “bags” like in the laurel merchant that grants 3 random T6 mats for maybe 5000 karma.
I was getting them with my laurels until I decided to stop and stack my laurel for more ascended amulets (for alts).

3) I would prefer being able to choose what weapon I want instead of rerolling it 10 times for a specific one. Maybe something like 1 fractal weapon, 5 shards of condensed mist, 200 fractal relic, 1 weapon handle (which could be purchased for like 5 pristine).
It would cost nothing as all those drop in fractals and would grant people to be able to swap for the desired weapon though it would take them some tokens for it and make people spend more of those tokens.
OR
Change the weapon drop for a ticket drop that can be exchanged for the weapon or your choice.
5) Rings can now be transmuted to another ring for a cost similar to what I posted above.

Ascended rings can be salvaged into 1-5 ectos (or 0-5), which would make farming fotm even more worthwhile. The same could apply later on for ascended gear/weapons.
I absolutely love this! Though some parts might have to be tweaked and adjusted, but the overall is genius. The fact that a raid could scale from a minimum to maximum would increase guild activities. Currently, the only massive-scale activity is WvW. It would be awesome to do a raid with 50 guild members!
The “commander” pin could be useful in this instance and maybe have more options to it. That would be nice to see the commanders be useful in raid (and not only WvW). I am a PvE player (though I sometimes do some WvW or PvP) and I’m waiting for the day I will be able to use my PIN effectively in PvE content (instead of just popping it out for World Bosses). Imagine if we could split into X teams leaded by 1 commander each with people segregated into these squads. Maybe you could see the HP on everyone that is in that same squad in the instance.
One thing there should be: CHALLENGING boss with GREAT mechanics and NOT a HP-wall that sits there.
I want mechanics that can one-shot you if you don’t pay attention. I want mechanics that force me to move out of certain areas. I want bosses with hazard (like lava, poison, wind, etc.) that could increases the challenge. I want bosses that die fast enough if nobody dies but be much longer if people keep dying. I don’t want dead people to be able to respawn until fight is over. I want dead people to get loot too (not only people alive at the end of the fight).
So many good ideas that could make this the true end-game PvE content and make people come back for such amazingly fun raids.

I only did the race until I had 3 wins for achievement because you lose more than what you pay and there is no incentive at continuing (except if I want that mini that I don’t care).
However, I really love the idea of Karma betting. That would boost the value of the gold bags and if you are lucky, might be worth betting all your karma away! Put in there more rewards, chance for rare loot to winners, etc.
I support this idea. Possibly with the new trait/build swapping that is (maybe) in development, there should be an underwater version or each build!
No, you can only mystic toilet them (no need to destroy them), which is unfortunate… :S
4 karma gear and you get a new exo back that you can sell! But I still wonder why you can’t salvage them at the cost they are, there wouldn’t be that much profit anyways…
I would also support an idea of converting the 3xTransmutation Stone given by map exploration (which is useless at LVL 80) for Transmutation Crystal. I think it should be more expensive than buying them on the TP, but still gives some use to them once you are all up at level 80. I have about 250 of ’em and would gladly welcome a 25:1 rate or 50:(1-5) or something along those lines. I know Anet wants to keep people buying them on the TP but making the Stone WAY MORE available than the Crystals is just cheap. why do I get only 10-12 Crystals but over 250 Stones? Very cheap….
One developer said they are working on new original fun and challenging raids (different than other MMOs), and we can also assume they will rework/add new dungeons.
However, no ETA on this yet, though we know it will happen someday.
Now they just need to fix current dungeons/fractals when this raid will be added and we’ll have a new fun PvE experience that we can actually enjoy (I hope).
I’d say we might see this late 2013. Maybe in the next expansion?

The reason it is 250 is because the data is stored on 1 bit (256 max). However, I know they are working on a gem purchase to increases that number (like +250 collectible stack). Still don’t know the new limit though.
However, I don’t think it would be wise to convert a dungeon token to another because people would just speed farm CoF path 1 for tokens and then convert them. Not happening with the current dungeon system!
I also agree that they need to add more underwater content, at least one world boss.
But if they do add more content underwater, they should also let us have more underwater weapon. On my ele, I can only use 1, which is a bit stupid.
I definitely think that would increase the immersion! It definitely needs to have proper day/night cycle through out the maps!
I think we are all disappointed. I do put $20 sometimes for stash tabs, character slots, infinite mining pick/sickle, etc. but I will never buy RNG stuff with my cash. I’m not putting one more dollar until this RNG crap stops. That is why I convert my gold into gems, because there aren’t much skins to buy in there and I don’t want to spend $50 for a skin.
I spend about 15 G for Coffers and 5-6 hours farming. I think I had about 1000 coffers or a bit more in total and got only 7 Mini Risen Knight, the rest is candies and crap, but no ticket!
I’ve played a game called Jade Dynasty which had a cash shop with 95% of RNG stuff. I spend way too many dollars in that game for RNG stuff and never got anything worth at all. I will not do this in GW2.
Stop with thee RNG crap and put more skins that CAN be bought.
I could have seen the skins go for like 600 gems in the TP or some Jorbreakers). But no, they decided to do it RNG-style. Well, I stopped farming them and I will not buy one more. If I get lucky, fine, but nothing more will be invested for RNG crap.
