Aetherium boost replacement

Hello,

Following the bug from the Aetherium boost that we bought that never boosted our production, I received 2 replacement by mail.

However, I did the mistake to “withdraw” them. I didn’t think they would get consumed on the fly. The problem is our aetherium capacity was full at that moment and it still consumed while displaying the error.

I don’t know if it’s possible to get another replacement after my error? I didn’t know it would get consumed on take-out (though it was an item as it was clearly an item in the mail). I’ll make sure we proceed with spending our aetherium before withdrawing it again.

I just saw you deleted you new post. It is indeed ONE slot for the standard edition (if you are a veteran), TWO for the deluxe/ultimate edition (if you are also a veteran, otherwise it’s one for new accounts). You have to buy more slots yourself it that’s not enough.

Seriously, the face I can dye the outfit with 4 color channel, but can’t for the weapons, really limit my choices of dyes if I want to keep it harmonized. Same thing with the Daydreamer set (outfit + weapons + backpiece), I find myself really hating the backpiece because I can’t dye it to match my outfit (because why would I keep the default color?).

The game lacks weapon and backpiece dye… and it’s really annoying. Not every weapon/backpiece needs to have dye channels, but I found that any set with armor/outfit really should need it at the least…

Please Anet, consider this feature for this weapon set!

I have 2 personal guild banks, one fully upgraded vault, the other half way done. Should I upgrade it right now before HoT because I’ll never be able to solo unlock it? Will I lose access to those tabs when HoT launch?

I’d love to hear the devs talking about this special case… because I’d like to know if I should upgrade it before HoT or if it’ll be fully scrapped in HoT.

Oh gosh… Does this mean an inscription will be worth 100 G after this patch?

I hope Anet seriously revisit the cost for Bolt of Damask. I hope they put it back to 100 scraps per bolt of damask (2 per bolt, 50 bolts) to compensate for the possible higher demand, because even now it’s currently insane.

Even Linen price is out of control.

This is far from being the best solution considering the cost of the insignia. The inscriptions are kinda okay.

And I hope stats that requires a 200 G recipe per piece are given alternatives to acquire the recipes…

But yeah, this is still better than nothing, but I was hoping for a more permanent solution of “adding” swappable stats to an ascended gear instead of replacing permanently. Due to the cost, I’ll continue to create my 2nd set. Not worth it to change the stats…

Traits not working.

As elementalist, my cooldown reductions, blast fury, evasive arcana, etc. NOTHING WORKS. Please, fix this ASAP as it really shows how much my DPS/support took a drop. Can’t even remove conditions well…

Multiple solutions to the problem.

  • First, pets damage only does not count towards event if you do not actively participate. You need to attack with your pets to tag events.
  • Also do something about auto cast on non-#1 skills and running into walls at events. I suggest the AFK option mentioned above: have an AFK option and if there are enough players doing it, give that player 5 mins to do something different without letting him know. Doing something different remove the afk status. If successful, that person is WPed to start WP (still stays in the map until normal time-out)
  • Make it so you can’t have GOLD if you were not at the event for at least 25% of its duration. Also, to have GOLD, you must have participated a great deal in the event. For example, no more picking 1 rubble then moving on. If you are 5 to complete that event, then 1 rubble will give bronze. If you defend, defeating a full wave gives bronze or silver.
  • You will get rewarded only if you are near the event when it finishes
  • Having multiple GOLD medals increase your loot each time (maybe a max of 10) and Magic Find. Having 10 gold events give you much better at the end than if you afk
  • Have a system that teleports AFKs to the start WP where no events are located. This will scale down events and discourage afk since you need to be at the event for reward.

This does NOT punish afks, it rewards active players!

There are:

  • Dungeons
  • Fractals
  • World bosses
  • Silverwastes/Dry Top
  • Orr events (temples)

But there are plenty of things to do such as collections, achievements, jumping puzzles, skins, legendaries, etc. You will have plenty of things to work for.

Daily Worthless Actions & Daily Achievements

The PvE achievements are way too specific. That’s also the reason I do my dailies in PvP. I’m often done in 1 match, if not 2 matches. Takes me max 20 mins when it takes 45 mins or so in PvE while giving crap rewards. I started to really like PvP and the reward track system.

PvE dailies really need an overhaul compared to other dailies.

I got them both in the same week at Fractured release, but haven’t gotten anything new yet. I still don’t play fractals regularly, but if I had the guarantee I wouldn’t receive 2 times the same skin, then maybe I would do them more frequently.

I find myself doing 1 or 2 PvP match for my daily, and I started liking PvP because of it. Before, I would only do PvE dailies, but currently, they are too annoying to do so it’s easier to just queue in 1 or 2 PvP match and be done with it. You still get lots of rewards from it.

PvE should be more generic, or have at least 2 achievements generic, just like PvP. PvP has capture, kills and defender, which are all very easy to do while playing. Completing 4 (which take even more time than 3 kills in PvP) in ONE specific map is insane.

They should review it to something like that :
- Complete a dungeon story or explorable (will rotate between dungeon and fractal)
- Complete 3 events anywhere
- Harvest / mine / lumber 10 anywhere on the map
- Kill a World boss

This still gives me more chance to complete everything in PvE, as I will often do at least 1 dungeon path or fractal, mine/lumber/harvest while playing and completing events, either in World Boss or Silverwastes / Dry Top. It gives way more options.

But I also liked when we had Daily Reviver and such. They could easily offer more random options for the 4 PvE daily.

PvP and WvW dailies are fine, but not PvE. I will still continue to do daily in PvP as I can progress faster in my track, which gives me more loot than what the PvE daily has to offer.

They are hoping to port the LS Season 1 episodes in a similar format than Season 2, but that means they have to rework most of the events/instances to make it work. We won’t see it for another year I guess…

Armor repair has no purpose anymore

I do think the armor repair should stay, because of various reasons mentionned above.

But I would prefer if the Death Penalty would make its come back from GW1 to GW2. Maybe like 10% stats reduction per penalty up to maybe 40% and it would clear up by killing mobs and bosses just like in GW1 (or with time) or visiting a town (Grove, Lion’s Arch, etc.) .

Living Story, success or failure?

Living Story Season 2 is a success in my opinion. The story was good, encounters were nice and the open world maps are really great (You will find me a lot of time in these maps).

They learned from Season 1 and they improved. Combine LS releases with expansions and wow, you just got me back! In fact, I came back 2 weeks ago and am almost done with my Luminescent armor. Afterwards, I’ll go for Mawdrey. I like that I finally have something to farm for, and not only farm gold to buy it on TP. I have to work for it, and I love it!

They are starting to get some distance from the “everything can go on the TP” at game release and I like it. At least we can now have some prestige.

I read somewhere that they will try to port the content like they did for LS2, but that will need lots of reworking and is probably not a priority at ArenaNet. Maybe they will bundle it with HoT release? Who knows…

But consider LS2 as a DLC. Free for those who were playing, paid (though you can use gold to buy it) for those who were not there.

I really prefer this over the LS1 formula. Even if I had to buy episode from LS2 (with gold) because I missed it.

ArenaNet still needs to make money. You can still access all the open world content, but you won’t have access to the story instances and achievements. I find it pretty fair.

Hahaha. People make me laugh. The first piece I finished was the chest piece. I got 3 coat boxes in about 15 runs… The first one is a guaranteed drop, the others have a 10-20% chance to drop. It’s not hard at all. If you enjoy Silverwastes, you will drop it in due time. If you can’t put your time to drop it, then maybe you don’t deserves it. Go say that to those who can’t loot a random Fractal Weapon after 100 runs. Your chances are very high to drop a specific piece. Don’t cry.

I still have 6 pieces to farm (2 boots, 2 leggings, 2 shoulders). Am I crying on the forum? No. What should I do? Continue to farm. Why? Because I like it and there are very good drops in the map.

Just play the content, if you don’t want to, just don’t do it.

Though I agree that it should now be added to the merchant for those who don’t want to do a few Vinewrath events to loot it and are stuck with lots of Bandit Crest.

I agree! Wicked Rodeo (challenge mote) took me about 30 tries in a span of about 1 hour up to 1 hour and half. It was frustrating, but challenging and oh so satisfying when I completed it!

I want more of this please!

I loved most boss encounters in this LS (I loved those in Hidden Arcana).

I found the boss very easy. Albeit a kittenallenging, but easy.

There are people who are bad at challenging content, and those who are good and asks for more harder content. The LS was a kittenallenging to go through, but was quite easy. Some achievements however required lots of coordination and quick thinking. That’s not for everybody, that’s understandable, but don’t go nerfing every encounters like Shadow Behemoth because that’s freaking boring. I want more encounters like the boss in Episode 7, the bosses in Hidden Arcana, etc. Those are fun and can be quite challenging (though I found them quite easy). I like interesting mechanics, not HP tanks that takes 1 hour to kill but do almost no damage.

Took me 2 tries to get all achievements of last boss with a friend. I wouldn’t consider this hard. You just need to know your class well, have a good skills setup and be quick on your fingers.

If you find it challenging in “story mode”, you didn’t see the boss of Episode 7 with the Challenge Mote… god 5 sand walls at the same time… Insane I tell you. But god was that satisfactory when I completed it after more than 1 hour of dying over and over! I like hard challenges!

8/10 Would fight again.

Okay, you paid 10 bucks for the game but can’t afford 20 bucks for the LS2 episodes (well more like 17.5 bucks since you logged in for episode 8 ) ?

C’mon, they have to make some money somewhere. All other games still have expansions AND a subscription fee. Would you prefer pay $15 per month to play or get some OPTIONAL content for an OPTIONAL $20 (since they can be bought with in-game gold).

This is still cheaper than their $40 full price that you would have paid.

Go troll somewhere else because it’s clear you don’t like this game if you don’t stay updated.

I stopped playing for 6 months, but still kept up-to-date and logged in to get most episodes (missed one, but bought it no problems).

If you find that too expensive, you clearly haven’t played ANY other MMO. Even F2P MMO are more expensive than B2P… I know it. GW2 is the cheapest and best MMO I have ever played, even if they charge for DLC (you can see LS2 as an optional DLC), and I did try quite a few of them.

Pt of No Returns Mystery Cave achieves

I loved the final battle! I teamed with friends and it made it so much easier to do the achievements!

First (story mode) : 5-man team, cleared it without problems (would have soloed it either way if we didn’t go through episodes 4 to 8 in one go with friends).
Second (achievements mode) : 3-man team, cleared 2 achievements on 3 (Rock dodger failed for everyone)
Third (achievements mode) : 2-man team, I dodged rocks in a corner while the other lit the fires, got my achievement
Fourth (achievements mode) : 2-man team, I lit the fire while the other dodged the rocks in a corner (he failed but I had to go, we will retry another time)

It took me 3 runs to get all my achievements without dying. Challenging? Kind of yes. Hard? No. I want more of fights like this. It was interesting and fun. If you can’t do it, get a friend to help you out by taking the aggro and just dodge everything in a corner.

Note: Elementalist is really easy, grab Frost Bow for DPS, Mist Form for INVULNERABILITY and Arcane Shield to NEGATE damage for a short while. You can withstand and avoid most that way. Grab an Energy Sigil for more dodges on attunement swap. You can also add that Meat food that gives +40% endurance regeneration if you need.

If you can’t do it, don’t make it boring and easy for us. It took me 1 hour and half for the Challenge mote at the end of Episode 7. Did I curse on it? Yes! Did I want it easier? Probably not. Why? Because it’s challenging! We do love some challenge in the game!

Noob Question on LW Season 2

I’d say it’s easier since you do not need as much coordination with teammates, but some achievements are easier when done with friends. Also, some challenge are quite hard (especially the last boss (centaur) at the end of the episode 7). but overall, it took me half a day to get all achievements of episode 5 to 8. Add a full day to do the story mode to unlock the achievements. You are in for a treat. Note that 2 trinkets can be bought at Silverwastes Merchant for 1000 Bandit Crests and 10 G.

If you are looking for trinkets, I’d say go the Laurel way for the various stats combo. It’s easy, just time-gated (because laurels are given from the log-in daily).

It was much much more easier than the challenge mote at the end of Episode 7 (the centaur). God was I excited when I finally soloed it after 30 tries! That is what I expect by “hard”. It looked like a Queen’s Gauntlet fight to me and it was awesome.

Teeny Tiny Expansion

In summary, what people generally expect from an expansion is:
1) 2 or more new classes
2) New continent of new zones
3) 1 or more new races
4) 5+ Dungeons
5) New PvP / RvR maps
6) New game modes
7) New Raids
8) Lots of new skins
9) Lots of new skills

Now, disregarding the fact that MANY expansions don’t actually give ALL of that, here’s what we know HoT will give us in comparison:

1) 1 new class plus 9 new sub-classes of sorts, making it almost like 10 new classes.
2) New area, as expected.
3) No new race, as it doesn’t add anything to end-game, which is what most people want.
4) New challenging group content and boss encounters. Might include dungeons, might not. Either way, they know what people are wanting from more dungeons and I’m confident they’ll do a good job with it.
5) A new PvP map and WvW map, as well as changing existing WvW maps.
6) At least one new game mode via Stronghold.
7) Again, challenging group content.
8) New legendaries, new armor seen in trailer, and likely much more.
9) Lots of new skills via professions and new class, PLUS entirely new mechanics via masteries.

In addition to those things people expect, we’re getting guild halls with brand new progression and mechanics there, and best of all, all of this works together to form a reward/progression system that can be built on for years to come. For me, it’s everything and more that I wanted from an expansion!

Couldn’t have said it better. They announced some stuff. They didn’t announce ALL the stuff the expansion will contain. I do hope dungeons / raids will be added / reworked, but we’ll have to wait and see what they can release as info in the next few weeks…

Before saying they won’t add X or Y, wait until they announce they WILL or WON’T add it. If they didn’t say a thing about it, keep coming back, you’ll have your information sooner or later.

Though don’t get your hopes too high for things that you know GW2 won’t add (such as a new race) in this expansion.

I find the announcements pretty big. It looks like a big framework for the future.

Oh, and with specialization, I’m waiting for the “build template” announcement to make it easier to swap skills, weapons and gear between multiple play styles.

Living World Season 2 Availability

I have a question similar to this. Are the chapters unlocked via account or characters? Because I’d like to play through living world when I make my revenant.

Chapters are unlocked account-wide I believe. I haven’t purchased any, only unlocked through logging in during the time it was available, but my other characters can access all the parts of the story and play in any order they wish to.

If you replay some episodes on your other characters, you will receive another piece of the reward (for exemple, the Carapace armor pieces).

I felt how my brain cells went into hibernation just from joining Kessex Hills today… The PvE Event Completition Daily causes havoc in low-level areas (and is boring on higher maps – and feels kinda forced too) taking every chance away from new players and alts to complete those events because everything dies the second mobs spawn…It’s also an inferior experience for lvl 80 characters zipping around like a herd of lemmings.

Why not try out one of the other dailies instead of doing the events? I went to EotM, for example, and spent 25 badges. Alternatively, I could’ve hopped onto a borderland and killed a single yak with ease.

That’s what I do. I feel like 4 events in a specific map when you can’t tag anything is too much. Doing one match of PvP takes me about 10 minutes and gives me 2 dailies on 3 (if I don’t get the class winner one). Much more faster and you still get plenty of loot by progressing a reward track! In my case, I’m doing Silverwastes. In 2 matches I got about 13% completed.

The Event PvE daily is BAD. Very BAD. Don’t do it until they rework it.

I do love the changes, but I feel like the PvE versions are too specific. I feel the need to go to PvP to do the dailies instead because it’s just more natural and faster than do the PvE ones. They should review the PvE ones and maybe make them just a bit more generic. The one I feel like doing the most in PvE is the daily forager/miner/lumber in a region (which contains 5-6 maps), in addition to the PvP ones. I don’t hate it, since it gives me more opportunity to level up my reward tracks, but I’d like to have a bit more freedom on the PvE side.

That’s just my 2 cents, but I do love the changes anyway. I feel like doing the dailies more often than ever now.

I have 160 slots on my main (elementalist) and I got :
- Black Lion Salvage Kit
- Mystic Salvage Kit
- Food buffs (x3 at least)
- Consumables (Boosters, Revive Orbs, Repair Canisters, Merchants, etc.)
- 2nd set of trinkets (Celestial, Berserker)
- 2nd to 5th set of armors (Celestial, Berserker, Valkyrie, Cleric, Soldier) though I don’t really use Cleric anymore, but that still makes 4 armor sets
- Other weapons (I have 2 daggers, 1 scepter, 1 focus and 1 staff) permanently depending on what I use
- Add to that the 4-5x Basic Salvage Kits, Geodes, Bandit Crests, various other currencies, Mordrem parts, etc.

All this account for about 70 slots currently on 160. That’s a lot.

They should simply make us able to unlock and swap stats on the fly. It would remove my need for 4 full armor sets in my bag. Then we won’t need more bag space (it’s a cheap solution to a very big problem).

I edited my post as a sentence didn’t explain it well enough. There’s also 1 piece (I think gloves) that you get 1 free with achievements. For the rest, I suggest to do events and Vinewrath when you can. The coat easily drops (20% chance) at the end, then you would only need 2000 Bandit crests and 2 gold to finish it up.

I have 12 buttons on my mouse, so I bound Mouse buttons 1-10 to skills, and I use WASD to move. Make sure to change Strafe left / right to A and D as to not turn if you’re not holding RMB. It makes it easier to move while in combat.

Ideally, you want your skill buttons close to your move buttons (WASD).

Diablo is very different. You use mouse to move. In GW2, you use WASD to move. If you are not familiar, it can take some times getting used to it.

Yes, you can redo Episodes 5 to 8 for their respective pieces on another toon to receive the box and choose a new weight. For example, you can redo episode 5 three times for light / medium and heavy. Only 2 pieces must be acquired in Silverwastes via drops or bandit crests if you’re not into that.

I doubt it otherwise people would have no incentive to purchase the episodes.

I hate the Silverwastes

I do LOVE Silverwastes, I like the scavenger hunt for Luminescent armor and I do like the grind for Carapace armor. I find it fun to participate and slowly go towards a goal.

HOWEVER, I do agree that the AFKs and the people porting to 75+% maps ruin it for everybody. I can’t even do the rare bosses because the low % maps never get up to Tier 3 because nobody is there. I often tag up at 0-15 % to try and capture / defend keeps, but we always lose them at Tier 2 because I am often alone to defend it (sometimes there’s 1 or 2 other people) but not enough to protect the NPC for 5 mins. Then the Breach happens with mostly Tier 1 keeps. I hate it.

It’s really annoying. I hate the “taxi” mechanic and it should just disappear. You should only be able to taxi if you have friends / guildies / etc. in that other map, otherwise it sucks for everyone else (though people could cheat by adding taxi people in friends list so there should be a “protection” like no taxi for a friend recently added).

Remove the taxi, and people will be more interested in doing the kitten events that leads to the Breach and assault because they won’t be able to easily jump to the Breach everytime. Breach shouldn’t happen without Tier 3 keeps. You should need to hold them all at Tier 3 to do the Breach, so that encourages people to do the kitten events and hold them BEFORE the Breach occurs.

However, the AFKs are still a problem. ArenaNet should really do somethings against people in a map that do not participate in anything. Like, you could be mining or killing random mobs, or doing the Jumping Puzzle, I don’t care, just don’t stay in the starting area / at Waypoints during 40 minutes please.

This is a big issue because of the maximum population on maps. I wouldn’t mind AFKs if they wouldn’t take away precious spots for people that DO want to participate.

I am more than happy to pay for the expansion in one go. As long as there are no subscription fee, I do not mind paying for it. C’mon, they worked on it for probably 2 years now. They need to get paid for this work! It’s not on a small scale like Living Story. It’s looking HUGE!

If you can’t afford it, go play P2W MMOs or return to subscription MMO like WoW, in which you will pay MUCH MORE than you ever will on GW2…

They announced only the BIG LINES of the new expansion. They didn’t talk about any of it in details. Before you say they didn’t include much in the expansion, we don’t know if there will be new dungeons, rework of X, Y or Z, new fractals, new build templates or anything else. We only know the BIG new functionalities TIED to the new map… nothing was said about the rest of the game. Just wait and see what they say. We’ll probably know a lot more on PAX East in 1 month.

Lets look at what they’ve done for hardcore players:
- Guild missions
- 24 dungeon paths (not counting story, since that is casual)
- Three world bosses + one dedicated world boss upate
- Two updates dedicated to fractals
- Many fractals offering content not available in open-world (e.g agony mechanics)
- Ascended gear tier
- New agony resist infusions
- WvW map updates + a new WvW map to solve queues
- WvW seasonal rewards
- Rewards for grinding achievment points

Lets take a look at what they’ve done for casual players:
- ??
- Living Story?

It could be argued that many of these can be unlocked or participated in by casual players, however casual players are not the focus, as some of them have insane time and/or money requirements to reach.

Guild missions are really easy with your guild. Every week we get newbies in our runs and every week we still get the same people that don’t know what to do. But everyone is still able to do it.

Dungeons are really casual and most can be done in about 15 minutes or so. Sure, you will need a bit of practice to get better at it, but it’s still really casual.

The 3 World bosses are just massive zergs. There’s nothing hardcore about it, just a massive zergfest with spamming damage.

Fractals are longer than dungeons, but really easy until level ~30. But since the rewards are mostly not worth it and the dredge fractal is way too annoying above that level, I don’t run ‘em anymore. Not worth it risk VS reward. It could be one kind of hardcore content, but it’s totally not well balanced.

Agony mechanic is crap and is not necessary. There’s nothing hardcore about it, just a grindfest.

Ascended are obtainable by crafting. Everyone can do it, you just gotta go out in the world, do content and mine. Grab that wood and ore and craft. Everyone can do it. Even if it takes me 36 days to obtain my Light armor set, that’s not hardcore, it’s casual.

WvW is far from hardcore content. I know plenty of new players and even players with not a single level 80 who loves and do WvW. WvW is casual. Sure, you can get organized and play more hardcore with guilds, but you can join solo and just follow the commander. I think that’s pretty casual

Achievements are just grindfest. Only people with time to waste will try to fill it as fast as possible. It’s not worth the time imo.

What REAL hardcore content do we have? NONE. Guild Wars 2 is too casual. We don’t have raids, we don’t have 8+ man dungeons. We don’t have Hard Mode (like in Guild Wars 1). We don’t have FoW, UW, SF, etc. just like in GW1. Those were the good days. And that’s why I’m playing GW1 again, because GW2 is just too casual for me.

How do you drop another cent on this game when there is no monthly fee?

You can moan in the forums as long as you want. If you want to hit them really hard, you just stop buying gems. I think lots of people used to do that and I think lots of those people will step away from buying any more stuff if they don’t make the game more thrilling.

That’s the point… Why am I dropping cash on a game that isn’t adding permanent new interesting stuff to the game? Why am I dropping 10+ a month if they almost didn’t add permanent stuff? Where is my money going? I don’t like how it’s turning, so no more gems for me.

Seriously, I just stopped playing GW2. Well, almost, I still do some daily things such as mining home instance, some crafting, maybe a daily or 1-2 dungeons run and I log out. Nothing’s fun anymore. As you said: uninspired content, no new permanent content, loot is crap, meta is bad (zerk all the way) and there’s only Legendaries to pursue as time waster (okay, Ascended are a bit of time waster too, but only because you need a godkitten 36 Damask for one light armor set).

I got back to GW1 and I enjoy it a lot more. I can hunt titles, collect weapons, armors, pets, minipets, etc. There are daily quests/events (Zaishen/bounty), vanquish, skill hunting, hard more, dungeons, instances (UW, FoW, etc.) and the loot is fun to get! I always get excited when I pick a rare mat or gold items!

Sorry but I might play a bit to try and finish WvW Season 2, but I no longer am addicted. Until they change a lot of stuff, I’m not going to drop another cent at this game.

Ways to make the game better:
- Rework the current rewards so that the loot is interesting, more unique to specific content and remove the daily rewards (DR). Monsters now drop loots from specific tables and has more chance to grant interesting loot (mats, exo, unique skins, etc.).
- Add collision (remove the ability to stack)
- Improve AI (no longer gets pulled to a little corner)
- Add more permanent content
- Reword current dungeons for Effort+Risk VS reward (maybe each dungeon has one short path, one medium path and one long path with different difficulties/rewards)
- Add interesting rewards to events (could be tied to X different events completed = Y reward). Also tie in some loot, chest or what/ever. Not only world bosses should drop loot. Make people go all over the world to get something done. Some suggestions were really good about this point.
- Increase build diversity (ability to customize skills 1-5 on each weapon with different preselected skills)
- Massive instanced content (raids with 10, or even 20+ people) to be done in guilds
- Guild Versus Guild (enough said)
- Reword the PvE to give PVT and other stats more use (no more one shots, but more interesting mechanics to bosses/mobs)
- Remove Defiant and add abilities to bosses to heal/stability/aegis/etc. just like any other player (see GW1, it was perfect).
- All activities can now be done with guildies/friends in an instanced map (more guild activities now possible with Sanctum Sprint, Sounthsun Survival, Keg Brawl, etc.)

And I probably forgot a lot more…

They should have done this instead:
- Increase rewards for completing events (more karma and a bit more silvers maybe). Maybe add champion bags or something at the end of an event chain in addition to standard reward?
- Add new specific loot per map (new skin for each map (i.e. Fireheart drops new flame weapons and Caledon drops new Sylvari-themed weapons), specific map crafting mats, etc.) to split up people and make lower maps worth farming. I kind of like that Charged are mostly found in CoE while Onyx are found in TA (need more of specific loots).
- Increase interesting mobs loot (more loot bags, more T6 drops, add core/lodestone as drop, etc.)
- Reduce dungeon gold reward (while increasing mobs worthwhile drops)
- Increases uses of undervalued mats (such as Glacial and Crystal Lodestone) via new weapon skin recipes.

Overall, remove the need to farm gold and give us more INTERESTING loots so we go out there in the world and stop farming dungeons non-stop!!!

I suggest getting it from Karma (cost no gold, only 42k karma per piece). or buying them from the TP. Some pieces can be as low as 1 G, depending on stats and/or runes.

Equip everything in exotic, then you can go for the most difficult armor to get in the game. With the new Wardrobe, you will be able to change your skins without problems!

You won’t be able to finsish Arah in Masterwork. You neef full exotic and really good preparation/skills. Super duper experienced group can finish p3 in 7,5 mins. Noobs will finish it in 3 hours…

You can stock them on alts you don’t play. I’d keep as many as you can since they will probably add a lot of stuff with them since everyone is stockpilling them. Trash as little as you can for that reason or you might hate yourself later on.

Yes, they exist. Look for “Recipe: Keeper’s …”. The name is different, but it is the Zealot’s ascended counterpart. Example: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Recipe:_Keeper%27s_Razor

Recipes for ascended weapons and armor with keeper/zealot stats exist but no trinkets.
