And why do people keep suggesting them when even the devs don’t want ‘em ? Just because the WoWers want some doesn’t mean the majority of the playerbase want that sillyness.

It could somehow work if you can’t fight with a mount, have them give no speed bonus and an ability to hide all mounts from other players, but still, I don’t want any.

It was already a silly grind in most games to get one. I prefer grinding my skins.

1) Mounts would kitten off people in jumping puzzles
2) We have waypoints and asura gates to move around.
3) Mount are silly, horrible and useless junk
4) Did I say mounts are silly and I don’t want one? Never.
5) There will never be any mounts granting speed boost (we have skills for that) or that’d break so much content (such as jumping puzzles)
6) I prefer having a nice gear to distinguish my character to a silly mount that takes way too much space on my screen.

What I’m suggesting is that skills that work like Blink, Lightning Flash, etc. activate even if my mouse is outside the range limit.

Say I have to escape fast from a zerg coming on me, so I push my mouse in front of me and click Lightning Flash. Nothing happens, I’m out of range, so I try to reduce the range fast and oups, clicked right 2 centimeters in front of me, spell wasted.

That’s just an example.

What I’m asking for it that the spell still activates if I’m out of range, in the direction of the mouse, for the maximum range it can. Let’s say my Lightning Flash is 900 range and my mouse is 1200 range right in front of me. Currently the skill will not activate until I move it under 900. What I’m saying is that make the skill activate but up to 900 of range.

That way, it would be easier for fast-cast ground targeting to use out of range skills since we have not really range indicators. I hate clicking 2 times to cast something.

SUGGESTION:
- Make all ground targeting skills with “fast-cast ground targeting” activate at maximum range in the direction of the mouse when the mouse is out of range.

Combo Fields

Strange, because I often do Combo Fields with my elementalist. I equip my Arcane Wave and blasts my fire and/or water fields near allies. If I have my staff, I blasts on my AoE heal fields for more healing.

But that is mostly in organized PvE groups, such as running dungeons with my friends. I most likely only see combo fields in big zergs or in small organized play. I will rarely see a pug blasting my AoE fields.

A better incentive to combo fields might be worth looking into. And maybe if the combo would scale better too, that’d be great.

I have already made a thread to suggest that we can create instances of any mini-games available (Sanctum Sprint, Crab Toss, Keg Brawl, Southsun Survival, Dragon Ball, etc.).

An organised play would be much more fun. It was cool during each event with the quantity of people, but now it feels empty and everyone only stick for 1 round (daily). I’d love to organise Sanctum Sprint races with prizes and other activities for my guild, but in its current state, it’s boring.

I don’t mind if the achievements are disabled if we do it organized. I just want to have 16 people in the same race, or 8v8 Keg Brawl, or etc.

We really need this. We need more stuff to do for fun with friends/guildies.

It’s not possible to make content completely bug. People need to report bugs so Anet can try to fix it. With a better description of exactly what your party did to cause the bug.

There is no reason to be mad about a bug.

I’m a developer, and I completely disagree. Yes, all software has bugs, but you are a failure if your software reaches production and there is an app-breaking bug in it. I couldn’t care less about some of the invisible clipping issues that dungeon has, or some of the poor AI pathing, etc… But I have a problem when I can’t complete the content because of it.

We literally died, waypointed, and re-entered the room. If we were blinking through walls, or sword-leaping over obstacles I can understand, but playing normally should never cause you to not complete the content. Period.

Well, sometimes it’s really easy to QA on a small scale but once it reaches full scale, it becomes open to more bugs as sometimes they couldn’t have tested it. Just take the food buff in the Dragon Ball arena for example. They didn’t think of it. It’s only in full scale that they noticed their mistake.

You CAN’T have a game be full bug-proof. You can QA to reduce the amount of bugs, but it’s pretty impossible for a MMO (not talking about single player games) to not have bugs on Day 1. Though they are quick to fix important bugs.

Well my first time was about 1h because we wiped a few times. But after a few times, the wiping will be reduced to 0, the time it’ll take will be reduced too. I’m sure it will be easy to do it in 40 mins soon, maybe even less.

Well that is kind of stupid because it is Twilight Arbor, which rewards those Nightmare Court potions. It should work through the full dungeon, even in this new path.

I think the potion should be modified.

It’s tied to the new patch which replaces the F/U path in TA by an Aetherblade path. You will find Aetherblades inside. It’s a lvl 80 path located in Twilight Arbor (Caledon Forest). Group up with 4 other players and enjoy!

I’m not sure there are other ways but I think the Aetherblades in the JP as you mentionned might count.

TA F/U was the least played because of the boss, not because of the path itself! I love the path, but hated the last boss (which I qualify as broken).

Replacing it is really making me angry. What if you replace all the content we love by another boring content? I don’t want to see the stuff I love being replaced one by one.

Please, just take our feedback and release it as a “new” path (like it is announced on the website).

Seriously, they just needed to redo the boss. It is the boss people hated. I LOVED every aspect of the path, except for the broken boss. I want no replacement, I want a FIX!

Please, don’t remove my favorite path, just fix it instead! :S

TA F/U was my favorite path except for the fact the last boss with spiders was so broken. They only had to fix that darn boss and I would have done that path again! Now they want to replace a lvl 55 path with another lvl 80 path? This seems strange to me.

We want NO REPLACEMENT. Just fix the darn boss and give us that new path. Why no fix like in TA when you reworked the 3 bosses? You only needed to do that! I’m angry and sad now.

Still haven’t watched the stream but I will as soon as I can.

Then you have dailies and monthlies with laurels.
Oh and you can also buy them cheaper with badges of honor.

Fractals can only grant rings. Guild missions only grant accessories.

But they should add accessories and amulets with pristine relics (fractals). It’s stupid only rings keep dropping and that only rings can be bought in fractals.

If there should be another way to acquire them, it should be by crafting, just like ascended weapons, with Jeweler. I’m pretty sure we will see it soon though, with ascended gear following.

I’m also waiting for new PvP modes such as FA et JQ. I loved those PvP maps. Capturing points and death match ain’t interesting to keep me playing PvP.

Not only that, but badges too.

I was furious when the WvW exotic gear I bought was level 70. I spent like 1200 badges for stats I needed only to find out after linking it in chat that it was level 70. Why the heck would they sell level 70 exotics with badges of honor? If only I could have sold it back to merchant right after… but no, I was stuck with them.

Refund tab please! Make it like you have 10 minutes to refund a purchased intact item to the merchant for the purchased price. Or maybe like only 90% of gold/laurel/etc. is refunded.

The 500 badges are now really easily acquired by AP (Achievement points). You just need to explore WvW. Normally, within 1 month (for rotations), you should be able to get all points.

People would still go to TA for other reasons (Mystic Forge, Dungeon token NPC, laurel vendor, fractals, etc.) but I think it’d be a great incentive for people to go more often to their home city.

I’m still not playing my Charr guardian because I don’t like charr, but I love my guardian and I don’t want to start it again. I’d love to be able to reset all my story line and appearance with a race change. I don’t mind if it’s 800 gems. We want it!

I think that’s a great idea. That way, they could balance the “we want more support/dmg/conditions” on each weapon available.

I think we should be able to also choose each for each attunement on the elementalist. Having full dps on fire doesn’t mean I want full dps on water.

I’d love a pure fire DPS, water SUPPORT (heal), earth CONDITIONS and lighting SUPPORT (knockback/blind/etc.) build. Having more possibilities is always great.

I think it’d be a lot more easier to balance than be able to swap out each skills individually.

I mainly play elementalist so I will mainly say what is missing:
1) Greatsword
2) Sword main-hand
3) Sword off-hand
4) Shield (better defensive/healing skills than focus)
5) Long bow (only staff is long-range support)

I think the greatsword on eles would be a hell lot of fun (I love the elite greatsword for what it’s worth).

What I hate the most about this lack of UI customization in GW2 is the enemy portrait bar IN THE WAY. I keep clicking on it instead of casting my skills at 1500 range. It also hides animations above enemy head. I often miss Dwayna’s special attack which throws a blue thing in the air because this huge portrait bar hides everything except if I place my screen looking up, which is stupid.

The other thing is the limitations on the map. I can’t place it in another corner. The other thing is the downed state UI which is kitten ing me off. Why does it have to hide the mini-map? If only I could decide what to show/hide for both states.

To resume, the current UI is bad and we need customization to fix it!

I prefer my party list near my mini-map on the right and my quests on the left.

Please give us this choice again!

And it’s still stupid to sell something worth 2 S 16 C on the TP at 2 S 17 C when it takes 15% of it so you end up with 1 S 87 C (which is way less than the merchant price).

They should take the fee % into account.

I’m waiting for the day I will be able to craft my precursors. No need for another way to acquire legendaries, we just need less RNG.

No, the dungeon popup will probably offer a new “Explorable (Scarlet) (level 80)” option to enter that path. Well that’s what I think because it’s not the same level and for balance purpose I don’t see otherwise.

If I take the words of the DEV who said that they would retweak the dungeon paths while tying it to the living story, and considering TA was in their first priority after AC, I’m pretty sure the other paths will get some work done (just like AC had earlier this year).

I would say I’m 95% convinced there will be changes to current path on October 1st.

I hope it’ll work like Map Exploration. Once you reach 100%, even if you fall back at 99%, you still keep the advantages of having reached maximum. I mean, even at 99%, I still had my star.

Pretty sure we’ll keep Hobby Dungeon and title even if they add new tiers.

They already said the recipe for the Crossing would change and that is why they removed it temporarily. So I’m pretty sure most if not all weapons will come back with maybe new recipes for new weapons!

Improving Healing Power & Support play

I competely agree that Zerkers are too important in this game. The Damage-Support-Control trinity has kinda pretty badly failed. Please, just give more importance to support/heal/boons.

One thing I would suggest is adding criticals on boons/healing (with precision being the critical chance and a new stat “Critical Boon” which is the critical % given).

Example:
1) Elementalist gives regeneration to a nearby allie. The elementalist had 50% critical chance and 25% critical boon.
The ally receives one normal tick of 100 HP, then one critical of 125 HP (100+25%), etc.

There could be even more way to make support/boons more important. First, supporters should earn the same reward.

The way I see this is that it would offer much more diversity but there would still be no “dedicated” healers, but more support/control play.

Rich ORE nodes but not Rich TREE nodes?

This is balanced out due to the fact that there are way more saplings than ore veins, just look at Malchors Leap for example.

I just did a run of Brisban Wildlands for soft wood and still ended with 2 times more iron ore (not counter silver ore) than soft wood. And I need 2 times more soft wood to refine it. It’s plain stupid. We really need more RICH tree because that is exactly why its price is sky rocketing! The demand is high but the quantity overall is pretty low. It’s hard to get a decent amount even when running a full 15-25 level map.

And I’m not counting the leather/scraps for armors. It’s even more ridiculous to get those.

Critical Heals

That is more of a suggestion but I completely second. Currently there is too much focus on berserker, which gives a lot of critical damage/power, but there is almost no focus on other stats. Boons and heals should have their own secondary stats which increases their effectiveness.

Currently healing power is not a viable build in most case because it’s simply better to get more toughness or vitality. I think this would open more viable build, but while keeping it under control.

Ability to "hide" stash tabs from crafting

I would like to suggest an option to make stash tabs invisible from crafting stations. Currently I’m stocking a lot of materials for my legendaries but I would like for those mats to be hidden when I’m crafting so that when my other stacks run out, it won’t use that stack. Like the invisible bags, but in this case, it would be a little ON/OFF button on each separate tab that would make it visible/invisible.

I think many people would appreciate this option added to stash tabs.

There was an alliance chat in GW2. I miss it too. That would make coordinating with other guilds much more easily, though we would sometimes regroup in the same TS.

The way I do it is that I only use color that fits my Sylvari skin tone. I have my Sylvari necro which has green skin and I use mostly teal-green-greenish colors with some variations (white, etc.) and my purple skin mesmer which has all kind of pink-purple-violet armor colors.

You just gotta do with what you chose. I’m happy with my Sylvari skin colors and even if some dyes are not looking great on my Sylvaris, I don’t mind really much. There are plenty of colors to choose from!

Yes, one byte of data is 256 long, so it was rounded down to 250 for our convenience (easier to count stacks). If they plan on adding a Gem Store upgrade, they will need to increase that limit up, which will increase it exponentially (about 65500 for 2 bytes).

Don’t worry, we’ll see upgrades, just like stash tab one day. Just be patient.

Intentionally forcing me to log in everytime?

I’m having a bit of troubles with the forum. Everytime I try to access the forums but I’m not logged in, it forces me the login page and I can’t do anything until I log in. However, sometimes I access the forum from places I’d prefer not inputting my password and it annoys me that I can’t simply browse the forum normally. I would prefer if I could simply log in when I want to posts on the forum (mostly when I’m at home), not while browsing outside on wi-fi or such.

Is it intended to force me to log in to browse the forum?

It’s quite annoying and I would like it to stops. I prefer logging in only when I feel the need to.

I tried deleting my cookies but it doesn’t seem to work. It keeps asking me for my log in every time!

I hope you, Arena.Net, takes this into consideration.
