PvP for sure. everyone thinks they’re the latest and greatest thing and no one is better than them (in anyway). The chat makes me feel like no one grew up or was raised with any discipline or direction in their lives. As for WvW people like to be organized. That’s all. I don’t really see much harshness in there. But, there’s some. PvE, ya you’ll have your Elitist once a while but I see more please and thank yous than I’ve every seen in a game before. People have more patience and are willing to help others out instead of “get gud” or “scrub” that you get from other modes. I think it’s because there’s a lot more older mature adults and starting players that are into PvE. And hanging out in LA listening to people chat is not PvE. That’s loitering.
4 stacks of burn dmg at 4 ticks shold not clear 16-20k hp….it does. Needs fix.
if this Halloween is anything like the last 3, you’ll be able to complete everything that isn’t bugged in a matter of hours and be on to HoT. I don’t see any problems arising from this.
If Anet was wise they would release all from this set as gem Store Skins. $$$ Cha-ching Anet. Gem sells would sky rocket.

Sure do. but then its not a trap. its just a combo field. Seems like a waste to hope your 20% chance projectile gains a bit more condi as it pases through in that 4-5 secs its active.
ToT farming would be the quickest. if someone else is throwing Maize Balm and their isnt sum1 in the zerg blowing everything up in one shot you can easily get a stack of ToTs that sell for 9-12g in 15 minutes. just saying. Then there’s breach>Vinewrath>Lab routines you can farm. This will usually net you at least 6 guaranteed rares (3 from rare bag and at least 1 per Greater Nightmare key. learn Lab and you get at least 2 keys made from it) handful of T6 Plus about 15-18 heirlooms and 4-5 Coin purses in about 20 minutes. Possible chance at other exotics. Gotten 2 Exotic armors with Strength runes yesterday. 18 g from them.
What are the differences, aside from the Exotics they give, between these two Champion Loot bags? Wiki has information on the heirlooms granting Ascended (Angchu) chests. Can anybody confirm this is true?
It’s been my experience that I get rares and T6 more often from heirlooms bags but that’s just my RNG. I’ve noticed I get more Lodestones from heirlooms also. I understand that chest running in Silverwastes is popular mainly because it’s easy and the most productive thing you can do with the crests, with what I’ve seen from heirlooms, why don’t people scale up the pack Bull escorts to 3 champs per stop and farm those? The stops only take a couple minutes on each run. Red pack bull only seems to spawn Vines and Troll making the champ kills very quick.
It’s a waste to open on a level 55. Do you or do you not want ectos? If you are after mats from level 55 just use the green bags from Silverwastes. You get 2-3 per event containing 3 items which all salvage to mats worth more than the t5. Champ bags at 55 is throwing away rares and ectos, which, staffs, GS’s, Daggers, sell for 65-85s each.

Anyone who says this is full of bs. maybe if they say " hey lets combine what i can make in a total of 24 hours of gaming" then maybe. no1 will make that in their playtime unless they play for just that… 24hours straight. but even then i takes to time to farm crests tp buy keys. granted each chest will gie u ~3 crest back making only 2 crests per chest. but still. there is prep time. then waiting for shovels. no body gets this much.,

I’ve noticed it too. 9/10 rares I got from Lab Chest in SW would give at least 1 ecto. I now go through about 5 or 6 before I get one. Of course this thread is going to get filled by all the same people who love to deny people by saying things such as “evidence, numbers, RNG, or proof”. Observation is observation regardless of what others think or say. And if they did do something they wouldn’t tell you or it would be unintentional . Just like they didn’t tell you that modrem hearts were awarding 10k crests.
I won’t be buying it at all nor will I ever spend another dime on any ArenaNet or NCSoft product ever again. From everything they’ve shown its all complete garbage and not at all worth the asking price. That’s funny considering I’ve spent thousands of $$ on their lame gem store items since launch. Also now their flawed system has caused items I purchased through their Gem Store to disappear without my consent and they refuse to replace it. If I see or hear people ask about GW2 I’m gonna tell them don’t even bother with it and find something else. I’ll post as many negative reviews and boycott it as much as possible. I hope they go bankrupt.
With all due respect, but it sounds a little like you did fall for all the tricks they used to get you (players) to spend gems, you now consider that is all fake (you spend money on air) and now you are extremely mad because of that. See the many people here complain about kitten,- expansion, but where are the complains about a finisher box that contains 6 finishers for also $50,-? Sure the complains have a lot to do with having both, did they only have the $50,- while the finishers would be in-game, there would be less complains. Not saying that those items in the cash-shop aren’t nice, I love most of them, but it’s not quality content, it’s stuff that should be rewarded from quality content.
So the question is, why are you now mad? After having spent thousands of dollars on gems to buy junk, you now are not willing to spend money on kitten,- expansion? I feel it’s not really related, you simply recently figured out that you have been spending money on air and that is what makes you so mad. That is at least what I think that is going on here.

I’m mad because my “air” disappears because of a flaw in their system and they refuse to acknowledge it because of a “general rule” as they say. So there’s no longer any reason to support a company who can’t acknowledge and correct their own mistakes.

I was moving dyes from my guild bank to my inventory so that I could link them. When I moved one back I didn’t quite drop it completely in a slot and it disappeared. I didn’t double click it or right click use. It just vanished. After panicking and looking through all my inventory I couldn’t find it but found it in my dye panel. I didn’t double click or consume it but clicked and dragged it across.
Is there any way to have this removed and returned to my inventory Anet? or roll back my account say 1 minute? I logged out and I am not going to log back in.
It also didn’t give me the “Dye unlocked” message that pops up when u unlock something

chuck and fleshwound , you two sound as though you’re married. but from what i get:
a) Some of the events are bugged every time I visit (Ramsey escort), the map is large relative to event frequency,
b) most events are finished within seconds and generally bring out the worst in player behavior, with down leveled players using powerful AOE attacks on mobs which more or less instakill them, making it sometimes impossible to get a tag for a kill, even if you were there at the event.

That’s a bit lacking in game theory, to be honest. “Make an effort” does nothing to address years of research on motivation, gamification, or even public relations and human factors. Quite frankly, the ‘argument’ is just lazy and equates to mouthing off for no reason.
Specific zone event completion is bad design. It funnels players into content that wasn’t designed for such large groups, so it leads players to exploit the system, get frustrated, or ignore it. And to be honest, the reward for that level of frustration and exploitation isn’t even worth it. Timed bosses give rare gear, harvesting gives materials worth several silver.
Events..? Writ of XP and a drop of karma. Woo. There is nothing good about the current zone event design.
Except he is completely correct. The design does have a few flaws but its really not as difficult as everyone makes it seems. They offer plenty of other dailies to complete if you dont like the system. The problem exists within the playerbase. Too many people feel they are privileged ad because it’s a game they think they shouldn’t have to put in anyeffort to receive the rewards. They might as well start unlocking everyskin just becauseyou see someone with it. There should one of every node within view of each other so we dont have to explore the map to find any. Make an effort is a completely reasonable response.
