it’s clear the “overhaul” he’s referring to is exactly what brought us the all the failed features.

Much work done here it will be difficult for the Servers from Countries like Germany/France and Spain. Some are on these Servers to speak german, french or spanish so with this idea they are forced to speak english, not everyone wants that and can do it.

They sold us the expantion and now work is done till the next expansion.
The only thing they want to push is their eSport and this is very bad, with the balance at the moment. There is a reason why GW2 is not a big eSport Title and never will be.
They should instead focus on all game modes, to be even in rewards and fun, but at the moment WvW lags rewarding things and fun, because less enemies less fun

For Zerg Fight Elixir X (both transmutes) can be usefull stabilty and many HP

So there need to be RNG because these are to elites of other Classes.

did you seriously find nothing else to complain about? flamethrower is viable as it is.
Its really only viable as a : swap to, hit some cds, swap out. As a stand-alone weapon, its auto attack is pretty bad.
after they buffed it like 432849 times now, no, it’s fine and good dps, yet just worse than bomb aa for dps, and worse than nade aa for vuln.
They buffed it after they take the 15% Damage Trait and it is still less then 15% more damage on Flamethrower and Elixirgun.

It seems they ignore it at the moment, same in the WvW, they sold the expansion and made money, next dev comments in engineer forums will be, when the new expension comes and they need to sell it.

I don’t think people hate the new map at all. I think people hate running around to find a fights and that can be resolved by a better waypoint system and server merges.
I think people were expecting a better reward/PPT system and are salty about the new map having been implemented without other core gameplay improvements.
Rewarding is the Key for many, if the Borders are full you will find fights.
But what will WvW give you at the moment?
New Raid gives you ascended Items
PvE gives you ascended weapons for collections
In WvW? Nothing but one new mastery: Shieldgenerator
You cannot achieve a ascended item through WvW (with much luck maybe) nor have you something to work for in WvW if your masteries are still maxed.
The Exp you get in WvW dont count to Tyria Exp for Masteries and the shiny Exp which will be shown to you is useless.
Seems we must get use to it, that GW2 is more towards PvP and PvE (casual/raiding).

The disadvatage is you need to be in flamethrower to get all the stab and might stack, if you switch kit/weapon stab is gone and might does not stack further. If you stay only in flamethrower you will not be very effective.

Balance patch is planned for December. I expect skill changes and lot of bugfixes then. Fingers crossed.
I’m really just expecting hammer nerfs. They balance the game around PvP, and that’s the only game mode where scrapper’s strong.
Well thats the only game mode where it matters, not? you can play pve naked, and [KING] had what 4? engineers in their raid. Phineas downed the first boss with a (strange) scrapper build.

Balancing only towards one game mode will destroy many classes in other game modes PvE /WvW :/.
They need to make skillsets for PvP like in GW1 some skill behave in a diffrent way in PvP.

i feared it already after the bwe we got and the statement of irenio after the bwe. For them it seems the class is fine and only needs some visual adjustment and nerfs.
Maybe we all need to use the ingame bug report and write every single bug from our buglist in it. Cause saying it in anet forums is a waste of time.

Why is there a reason every melee group wants at least 1-2 guardians?
Will a group win if they have a lack of guardians in there melee train?
This was my thinking to bring more possibilities in frontline groups (ranger,engi, thiefs, necro)

I think after HoT there is a lot of CC in the game and after the changes to stability it is sometimes a hard way for classes with nearly no stability.
So my idea is to give everyone who successfully uses a stunbreak a 3-5 sec 3 stack stability. (3 sec to classes who have stability already with stunbreaks)
So no chain stunning on classes without stability or very few stability sources.
More choices for melee group members besides Warrior and Guardians.
I see not many disadvantages, maybe melee train gets too strong, but there are still many soft CC like slow/freeze/cripple/immobilize.
What do you think about this?

Do not roam alone, because i never see solo roamers since HoT, if you solo roam you will face mostly small groups, if you see anything (borders are empty in these days
)
I use my Scrapper and my Condition Revenant for roaming, i roam mostly in a 2-3 player Group.
And get some stealth reveal, roaming is still the playground for stealthing groups.

I’d love to find a viable excuse to use my Shield — especially with my four gyro build. But I just can’t justify it.
With the Shield’s Blast Finisher and Daze/Projectile Finisher, it would work well with all the Lightening Fields and Water Field (Reconstruction Field – Tool Belt skill for Medic Gyro). If the CD’s for Shield were reduced to 12 sec and 16 sec, I might do so.
But Man, that blowtorch burn is hard to give up….
If you are running a Confusion Build with perplexity rune shield can be an option cause you have 2 interupts on it.

play thief for 1 year and see how u go from okay to semi okay to bad to very bad to terrible too kitten class that isnt capable of doing anything.
meanwhile classes that are not even set down as massive dps toons do more dps then a thief could possibly pump out meanwhile these same classes have tons and tons of ways to deffend/survive.life of a thief, jump in kill if failed ur dead gz.
having 900 range MAX and being as strong as WET toilet paper is beyond amazing, then again im still playing my thief and i still enjoy it. but when i play my lame kitten guardian i just 111111111111111111111111 and walk through complete zerg got 1000 loot bags and repeat. bet i can do same on engineer just use trait lines for perma stab and have fun with flame thrower run in blast like a clueless idiot and run out and watch the loot come in (i guess i dunno ! :p) think a engi has and always had alot more ways to survive then a thief.
tho dont wanna turn this into thief topic only, yes Anet managed to ruin WvW for me also.
I dont was telling that because a engi do better in WvW or not, we have a really big Buglist and it seems the dont work on it, our Elite gets only on BWE and after Release no improvements only nerfs.
So to come to WvW they need to do something and that really quick. They have luck that out there is no RvR game maybe ESO but not for me. Until Camelot Unchained comes there will be no good alternative.

they don’t care. they want you to play the new PvE maps and buy the glider skins…..
They even more want you to play PvP so they have more attention for there ESL, thats the reason for F2P of the basic game too and it is the reason that many elite spec are more focused on PvP.
My hope for RvR now lies in Camelot Unchained.
