They wont do anything, they even didnt listen to the engi community, none wants AI Bots and what did we get AI Bots. So i dont care if they fix anything, cause they will not do it in the next 6 Month, look at the engi buglist not much changed on that.

Now i know what we get i am jealous about guardians traps
The hammer give use more use to frontlining in GvG and WvW i think, but the gryos are very weak in a xx vs xx situation.
On the healing gyro toolbelt, keep in mind it is also a water field. We have plenty of blast finishers on our current builds, and the hammer engi will be able to get 3 leap finishers in that water field from a single attack.
Healing Turrets has 2 Waterfields, why should i use the gryo?

No they are attackable so useless, they take the useless skill of us (turrets) and crafted there little brothers and say here engis you great new toys suck it!

Scrappers seems to be developed in a hurry to have something to show, for me the results are very disappointing.
Lol when your in the mix with a frontline yeah it will, at least if in pvp. WvW idk yet.
If you have a gryo out in the frontline it will melt in 1 second.
Gryos are more love for PvE as for WvW
Not AoE. It checks for targets in its AoE, moves to one target and cleanses 2 condis. This every 3 seconds.
If it can, cause it will be dying on its way to the ally
Gyros with hitpoints of about 10-15K (you can see it in the Video) will melt in WvW raiding and GvG, as i expected they are useless compared to kits. Hammer is ok.

In fairness, who really actually used nades as a 1200+ range weapon? Mortar just as well fulfills the same role as a hard-to-land AoE projectile since the chances of hitting all 3 grenades at 1200+ range was pretty slim.
Then my point ist still valid, if a dev says such things i am afraid of the future for our class.
We clearly have no solid range option and mortar is not solid. So what is he talking about.

Thieves have many important roles in WvW… scouting, finishing downed players, hitting the blackline and sharing venoms with Necros and Eles. We have some awesome thieves in our zerg.
Venom Shareing is for the skill-less tho. Its when u need to cheeze the enemy. Imho try and move away from that.
So GWEN is not skill less?
Fighting with GWEN Setup against a PUG with many Engis and Ranger is pro or what?
So i would say using stability is skill-less or using line of warding is skill-less what a nonsense.

Kinda waiting on the Forge to be revealed, since all balance suggestions are pointless with the arrival of HoT so soon.

We will forge our drones, maybe we have a heat bar we can fill with damage skills from the hammer and with this heat we can forge drones that do damage or buff players. The Tollbelt skills activating a drone (like suicide drones or mantras) and the skills are passive sigils or something

Good point maybe make the reflekt shield look like a stone wall or something if it is triggerd and leave the reflect like it is.
About water combo fields in WvW, if you want a longer lasting water combo field, that is what mortar kit is for. ^^"
Yes i know that, but often if engi says in WvW we have 3 Waterfield the most player say two of them are useless to blast and Ele are better in doing that, so i wishes to have 2 good waterfield

BTW about tossing elixir r: it already is removing more conditions than one, but just one for each pulse. ^^
oh yes thats right didnt use it in a while but then it is ok maybe cooldown reduction can make it more attractive.
And one idea of my own about gadgeteer: some already said it should have a base cd reduction of 25%. But I would like to see a change in it’s function too. The overload should change the behaviour of our gadgets by a large amount. Suggestions: Using overloaded A.E.D. makes it pulsing damage in an area around us, to give some pressure against melee fighters. Or throwing mine could explode in a cluster around the initial explosion (random locations). I would like to discuss some ideas for this trait with you guys.

Battering Ram can make a line infront of you crippled or weakend or maybe the new condition slow.
Rocket boots can leave a ring of fire at your landing position or start location

Sure this are only some ideas that come to my mind they must be tuned some how, and therefore i like the ideas the other engis have, i think it will help devs to improve the class.

Actually, I’m using this trait quite often. Don’t see it as a “trigger one skill while using healing skill”. I see it as an upgrade to my healing. If you use it, you will upgrade your healing by a fair amount, get extra fury and a weakening condition remove. That’s not bad, I’m using it in PvP and if I have to trait for survivability (sometimes in fractales).
Is Iron Blood not better for survivability?

If the elite spec isn’t good for you, you don’t have to use it. There is no way how it could “break” the class. ^^
I’m hyped for forge, I got the feeling we will become better guardians.
But but i will use hammer and it only work with the elite spec, and deep in my heart i am hyped too, but where big hype is there is big disappointment 
So we all think that Engi needs some improvements, so lets give A-Net our ideas
Here are mine:
- fix the bugs
- make toss elixir b a stunbreaker
- reduce cooldown of gadgets
- minefield not only should remove 1 condition, it should convert one boon to one random condtion
- make Waterfield of Cleaning Burst and Regeneration Mist last longer
- make Elixir R a stun breaker and Toss Elixir R remove all condtions not only one (it has a 100sec reusetimer it must be worth it)
- reduce the rate of fire on turrets, all turret -1 sec besides net turret
- make rocket boots grant stability while flying
- make Mortar field pulse damage not just the condition
- make turrets be movable, like the revenant can move his tablet
- make turrets damage reduction higher and let them do more damage
- make experimental Turrets pulse boons like the revenant elite spec or reduce the puls interval
- give throw mine a larger radius of 300
- let us use skills when activate elixir S (warrior also can do it in there immunity)
- let launch personal battering ram cause torment
- make advanced turret not only reflect missiles let it be like the hammer skill of the guardian (Ring of Warding) with an icd (60sec).
- medical dispersion field remove icd and increase the healing on 20%
Just some thoughts, post yours in here so we get ideas for the devs

I wish i would have the hype level of you guys, cause everytime A-Net announced something about engis, it sounds nice and at the end only the half is useful or implemented (Trait rework, Basline announcement which were not true, Turret rework and so on).
And up with it, may the bugfix be with us
GWEN is so softcore!
Roaming today in T1/T2 means you against 2-3 PU Mesmer or Thiefs, none wants fair fight 2vs2 or 1vs1. Just gank with 1-5 People.
As non stealther it is even more frustrating, if you are beating a mesmer, or thief they just run away stealthed mostly.
The rare fair fights i found were against roaming guardians, ranger or engies, but it takes hours to find such good fights. You will find them more in sPvP
Yes as insanemaniac says your build is more a Raid/GvG build, for roaming i would also perfer condi build or a power build with Knight and Berserker mix.
How is the Weapon Damage in Kits with legendaries or ascended get it boosted or is it the same as with exotics?
For WvW raids i often logging on my Guardian to even get a group, sometimes it is frustrating as engineer, but in roaming or smaller groups it is good.
Zerg or Roaming for zerg condition is weak.
Yes. I don’t understand why it has taken so long to fix.
Cause it is a bug with an engi skill, devs dont care about engis, only if a skill is to strong, then they are quick at bugfixing cause the most played classes are crying and they dont want to upset the most played classes (just a theory)

Engi never gets testing so it all stays as it is
For Roaming:
1. Mesmer
2. Thief
3. all others
For Zerg:
Guardian
Warrior
Necro
Ele
other classes can also zerg but it is not meta and everyone want to play meta.
On SFR (EU) Tier 1 yesterday at primetime there was only a queue on EB and one Border of about 10 people, all other borders were queue free.
Stealth as it is now is the Death of Roaming, Stealth need a Cooldown of 5 Seconds or so. or we need more revealing/detection Skills.
I liked in Lotro the Ranger stealth detection this is needed in GW2

Why are people transferring so many times?
How long have you been away from some of those servers that you can suggest you have any concept of the current community?
Just be on the winning team is a must for many people. Look at FSP sure they have massive good players many came from other Servers SFR/DESO and so on. Now they are very good and will get the new SFR or old Vizunah, when the next Season beginns.
Many players want it easy and on FSP you have it easy, even if they dont play for point you can get bags in no time if you are in an EBG Blob on top the Server is free for Transfer
For WvW i use Rabid and Dire Mix

Looks like T1 being full (T2 also?) is good news since free accounts can’t be made there.
Lower tiers though, there’s gonna be a lot of siege trolls, hackers and spies pretty soon.
You can make an account there only transfer is locked.
I don’t roam, roamers to me are walking gankers. Most of their kills are people trying to get somewhere who aren’t traited for roaming but traited for WvW zerging.
That’s exactly what a roamer does. Capping camps/sentries that are not worth the whole zerg and denying enemy backups. Most of us aren’t even playing for points, but we end up benefiting the server more than yet another zergling because of all the small things we do. And if we get chased by an enemy group, even better, because we are effectively trading 1vX.
It is a longtime ago i see a solo Roamer mostly they are 3-5 so it is more a 3-5V 5-7 not a big deal so

What would be nice are Masteries like in HoT:
- Autoloot
- Glider for WvW cause why not
- Commandertag achievable through WvW Rang
- WvW only Skins/Banner/Minis/backpacks
- Ascended and Legendary achievable from playing WvW only
- More tactical option for the commander and his raid group (point on Map and draw where the route is going)
- Maybe a slot reserve for guild groups / or public raids for a border last only 2 hours (only 1 or 2 per week)
- Scouts need a reward, so when scouts are on the map and make a good job, let people give them a vote and after getting a good amount of positive votes, let them get an extra WvW rank chest or something like that. And give Scouts a better possibility to call things out maybe with masteries after many good votes they can mark things on the map for the whole borderland.
- maybe make random invasion events so the system calls out randomly a keep or tower and if you defend it successfully, or take it successfully you get an extra reward.
- If a zerg hit a certain number of players, make it visible on the map (>50 or so)
So just some brainstorming
If they end up on the lowest servers and much isn’t going on, will they become a paying customer?
If they join t1-2 to watch the queue will they become paying customer? And will the other people who are in queue still play the game after waiting forever in queue cause of new player and/or many spie accounts?

This whole Free Account thing will destroy the WvW Population balance massively if the free accounts count into the active WvW Players there will be a lot of manipulation.
