I always thought it will stack, because max endureg you can have is 100% and Vigor gives you 50% and you have 50% passive. If it do not stack it is really a bad design

Rangers need the attention. They are having a mini-revolution at the moment.
We will not get much from devs until after the BWE.
And after BWE they will be busy with HoT release, so maybe first balance comes with the first PvP Season

It is by far not a safe stomb it can get feared, blinded and if the player go to stealth what will the gyro do?

I don’t think they ever intended for you to run more than 1-2 gyros.
I mean, take another look at our trait line. Notice something? Yeah, we have one trait that actually affects Gyros. And it’s GM. And it’s when they die.
Yes i know, but every utility line has a stun breaker:
Turrets -> Thumper Rumble
Elixir -> Elixir S and Elixir U
Tools -> Goggles and Super Speed
Kits -> Elixirgun Toolbelt
Gyros -> nothing
And at weekend i want to test a heavy gyro build as disabler/frontliner so more gyros = more dazes and lightnigfields

Just forget about gyros in gvg except for maybe function rez/stomp. Hamer coupled with old kits and skills will be meta tho. He’ll I’m working on a hammer less scrapper that looks very promising . No worries. There is a kitten ton of group synergy available with new elite spec
Maybe Gyros can work as a stability eater, everytime a gyro dies it creates a lightningfield which daze the enemies and superspeed up allies every pulse (3 Pulses).
At Beta i will try such a build, you will have a lot of lightning fields to split the enemy zerg.

- Bulwark Gyro has a decent pool of health and low defense. If you and several allies are taking heavy AoE then it is going to die quickly; that is the situation where it should die quickly.
And that’s the same situation where the players should die quickly too. Melee playstyle is characterized, defined by players and several allies taking heavy AoE. Only the players don’t die in that situation if they’re playing smartly and coordinating well as a team, if they’re properly dodging and using other skills that help mitigate or avoid the damage. The AI dies though.
So what if AI pets in the game get a 2 Sec Evade buff , when the “master” evades, i think that would not be too overpowered.

The most people who are still roaming are Thiefs or Mesmers as a non stealth charakter i barely see other roamers like Warriors, Guardians or Necros.

Cooldown starts after the gyro is destroyed i think, not on using the skill, like turrets.
And you say the magical words “if not destroyed”, with the low healthpool of 8-9k i think it will die as fast as our turrets, no need to worry about.

That AoE daze only works if player take the trait.
Without the trait Gyros are just little things to be killed and the Final Salvo is more for PvP rather than PvE.

We need to select a trait to get the gyro function, mesmer and other classes dont need this to get there new elite class ability, Mesmer gets a new Fx Skill, Thief get more dodges and Necro a new Fx skill without wasting a traitslot for it.
The function should be in the first minor trait.
You got the concept wrong. The function gyro IS in the first minor trait. There is just a adept trait which provides your function gyro and yourself stability while you are stomping/rezzing.

Perma heal for allies too strong? Did you ever stay next to an elementalist in water attunement? ^^
Yes but you have perma Swiftness base heal 100 or so, then you can get 470 Heal for superspeed on top and this i think is to strong, count regeneration in and you have a heal with superspeed of about 600-800 with healing gear maybe more. Seems too strong and with speedy kit we also get superspeed with toolkit.

Btw, a bit of a side note, but didn’t they mention that finishers from leaps on Rocket Charge will stack? Are we looking at 15 seconds worth of Chaos Armor with full RC in ethereal field?:P

And that essentially means that elite specializations on the engineer are meaningless by design, since the main weapon can’t be good (again, by design) and the utilities can’t compete with kits either way.
They could as well just give us a trait line and some mechanic and be done with it.
I think the hammer is a great weapon for WvW frontlineing, if the engi is able to survive there if not it can also be a good thing in sPvP. For PvE maybe for raids and bossfights for controlled cc.
The Hammerskills are fine only gyros give me a strange feeling.

The main thing is, we have to look at it in the next BWE. I dont believe they have adjust something but it can be.
And while the BWE is going we need to test and report quickly cause it is the only BWE we have . So put your energy in testing and reporting

For me the best thing would be to make the gyros invincible besides suicide and stomp gyro.
