Mine is great for WvW, max graphics runs WvW zerg v zerg at like 90 FPS… only 900$

removing mug critical hit still makes thiefs in www too strong as due to www environment they can stay perma invisible and cloak delay from 4 to3 second was a mistake as it actualy make fight against them results in certain death as well with ability to finish in stealth
conditions removal and healing in stealth with ability go to stealth and hit from stealth without any penalizations as they can cloak within second with heavy dmg makes them extremely hard to kill even with several experienced players as they can fully regenerate in few seconds because stealth remove agression from them

The only boons you need are regeneration, protection and ageis.

Everyone says that you need Toughness to be tanky, not really, it just helps. Honestly I think that health is more important, so I use Valkyrie everything with a healing/DPS build.

ALS has 500 members and 40 players minimum on all day, we welcome everyone and do heaps of WvW and PvP. It does not matter where you are from, I’m from AUS and lots of the people I play with are from NA. Not much queuing (except some reset nights), the server is a really great and friendly server and just because we are tier 5 doesn’t mean nothing happens in WvW, Because alot of the time there is an ALS commander in every map always starting a riot =D.

Some bad commanders go to other BLs and abuse the commanders there for not defending or doing something. When in the BL they were just in all they did was yell at pugs because they just got the game. It’s rude and badly handled.

I recently got a new computer and everything is fine, but I also downloaded hypercam3 and it will not record because of something to do with the audio or video, anyway I was just wondering if anyone knows of a free recorder that will record GW2.

I recommend using it so that cantrips give you might and regeneration/vigour and every fire spell you cast gives you might. also this build works very nicely in WvW just stay away from those pesky little thieves haha

only 10 in Air for a direct damage oriented build sounds strange. Your crit damage will be quite low.

This is a very good question! I too am an avid wellomancer and have been running condition damage on my current build for ages. Personally I am happy when in pvp, wvw, or pve 9dungeons). Lately I have been thinking abit more along the lines of a bursty power/well necro. A lot of people swear that power builds are more effective for the burst damage of the wells. My problem is that I am not sure how to get the most power out of my necro, while keeping the focused rituals (targeted wells) and the larger marks on my staff. So I’ll be keeping an eye out on this thread. Maybe an expert from BuT or so could help us out.

for getting the burst/power out of the necro you can just make sure that the trinkets and runes/armour/weapon stats allow for a mix such as this

armour stats – pre/vit/cond
weapon stats – pow/pre/CD
runes – condition damage/duration
trinkets – power/vitality/CD

Utilites
well of suffering
well of corruption
signet of the locust
Lich form – elite

Traits – 0/20/20/30/0
20 – II, IX
20 – II, IV
30 – II, V, XII

so I searched this on youtube and google but i cannot find a video of how to actually get from 1-400 in any crafting profession (yes I am talking about cheap ways if you are poor)

Okay so I just got a new computer (custom built) and my friend gave me the specs saying that his specs can run WoW max graphics at 120 fps… I got an upgraded version of this so I dont know and Im currently under a 71 hour ban so I cannot play… but can someone tell me an approximation of what FPS i would get on high graphics if my friend runs WoW max on high with 120 FPS?…

I have never played GW1 and probably never will. But this post makes necro’s seem sad and depressing and all out terrible to play. they are not. the staff attacks are all AoE’s, most people find this annoying in a 1v1 situation, however these attacks are largely condition based and will allow to get away from your attacker with speed. The other weapons are, TBH, not very well thought out so I won’t reference any. But you said that the necro in GW1 could have an army not just a handful of minions. do you seriously want this in WvW… or even PvE? a necro would completely ruin your fun by simply getting themself and army and destroying everything in front of it. They may not be the best class or may not be anywhere close to the original guild wars… but does that really mean that they are terrible and kitten and are not worth play?

use alot of valkyrie trinkets/runes (runes being the Wurm) and just use Power/Toughness/Vitality and you will dish out a truckload of damage.

TBH what I find useful is the soldier runes so that when I run in a large group I don’t even need an acutal healing build… I have it so that when I give allies boons I gain health, this effect also works with “Save yourselves” so when I am introuble I use that knowing it’s like 6 boons of about 80 health then I use the third virtue and just drop a symbol with my greatsword all up healing almost the whole time, BUT I also have empowering might so I use beserker/Valk trinkets giving people might and healing myself =D.

COME TO ANVIL ROCK!!!!!!! we are having fun and you join ALS (one of the biggest guilds in the server) we are a tier 5 server trying to push our way up and we are largely WvW based but do have alot of PvE’ers not sure if it is possible to join though… I think it is full

you don’t like Zerg v Zerg and just want a small group to run around with… then ask where there is little action happening and go there. Or just do Some PvE to entertain yourself until the action dies down. But don’t complain because you are getting facerolled, enjoy it, see how long you can tank or see how many you can get before you die. Or join a server who is not in a crazy hard tier…

Don’t ever use condition damage on a guard. NEVER.

TBH I used alot of Mace/Shield and Hammer. for the first 10 I put it all in the health then when I could do 20 I filled up the health slot first then moved to the precision. Always using the Ageis heals on removal. ALWAYS!. But other than that the greatsword/staff combo is pretty good.

This is so correct. Every time a non-commander attempts to put in a suggestion it gets knocked aside and countered so ruthlessly that the other person feels so demorilised they don’t want to continue speaking. I have tried to put in some input as well, I got rejected and rejected. And I am not saying we have bad commanders, I’m saying the commanders should listen to other people as well. Just because you have a COM tag does not mean you get to be a kitten… IT’S 100G for kittensakes, not everyone has that.

My cousin tried it, he went nuts hahahaha funniest thing I’ve ever seen. unfortunately I had like 2g worth of repairs hahahhaha.

You could join a smaller party and take camps and sentries? roam the world and be annoying as hell to zergs, report on what the zergs are doing and if they are seiging then tell a guild or a commander what is happening and approximately what health the wall/door is on. That being said, you don’t even have to do any of that. you can just talk in map chat to people and have a good time and craft and make jokes.

My level 3 necro I made just then because of this post… The staff abilities I already knew were a kitten because they just drop constant and annoying conditions but also the range of it… OMG someone once hit a 3k on me from a tower… I was on a treb that not even an ele with D/D would get to, and a necro killed me. I was impressed so I made the necro. ITS SO FUN!

Attempted this with a group. NEVER AGAIN. we got stuck at the levers… gave up straight away hahahaha.

Scepter/shield – Both have Power/Pre/CD and one has sigil of bloodlust and the other Force
Focus – Anything… It’s going to go with scepter but just with added shields and heals
Sword – Power/Pre/CD any sigil to do with might.

My trait line is thus:

30 – V, X, XII

Utilities/heal
6 – signet of resolve
7 – “RETREAT”
8 – contemplation of purity
9 – Judge’s Intervention
ELITE – Renewed focus

this build setup allows me to gain might when I block and use a 3rd skill in a chain (so the third greatsword base attack) but also heal when I ageis is taken off me hence the “RETREAT” but I also heal from using meditations hence the contemplation of purity and Judge’s intervention. Renewed focus is used for when I have used the Ageis and Heal virtues and also to get you out of tight spots (would be used in a 2 v 2 and your partner went down so you use it and you have your virtues again to block/gain might/heal and do even more healing). I prefer to use this build in WvW but it works the exact same in PvE only difference is no WvW buff-ups such as health/damage.

I was playing not long ago… MY GOD EMRY BAY WTF…. you literally steamroll with zergs.. but not just 1, kittenING HEAPS OF THEM GJ…

My trading post has been messing up for quite some time. Every time I go to sell something nothing appears and I am stuck waiting there for 10 minutes and nothing happens? and when I attempt to buy something the Buy button is grey and unclickable? this has been happening for about 2 weeks and I would like some help or to know why.

In my opinion a distraction is the best tactic. or if you don’t like having a few thieves and mesmer’s pulling out, try an ambush. this is what I would do. if they are coming at you from front on and they have 2X more than you run to a choke point and tell the thieves in your zerg to find somewhere to hide, tell the mesmers to get Time warp and Portal ready for confusion. when they hit you hopefully your thieves got to a high place and are using shortbows to constantly drop Poison. your mesmers will then portal bomb wars/guards into the middle (this is suicide, but that’s the idea) your wars and guards have then caused grief/annoyance and that is when everyone in your zerg just AoE’s around the outside to group the oncoming zerg together. if this doesn’t work and they keep coming, call your thieves to pull out D/D and death blosom all through the Zerg and drop a shadow refuge at the end (if they live) your mesmers will hopfully have spawned millions of little clones and phantasms to keep the zerg at bay. all the while engis are dropping turrets and rangers are using arrow rain (or whatever it is called).

but for anything such as this to happen, you need to be somewhere you know that you can defend easier than they can attack.

Me and Lady Jameson (80 guard me) (80 warrior him) were chilling outside our shadaran hills when we were viciously attacked… this then turned into a full scale battle outside hills… darkhaven are vicious and cruel.. I had to repair my armour after that.
