How about this

Have a range cap around certain destroy-able structures (for example a gate) that only a certain type of siege can be thrown. So to throw a ram you need to be within 500 range of a gate?
a catapult can be thrown anywhere between 200-3000 range of a destroy-able wall
and treb can be thrown anywhere EXCEPT THE PREVIOUSLY MENTION RANGE CAPS.

Just a suggestion that can be obviously worked around.

Honestly, in my opinion, I think the reason they aren’t going to implement this feature is because they’d need to put in a GvG forum section, and they’re probably too afraid that it would end up like the WvW forum section, where everyone got banned and they had to eventually take it down. ANet recognizes this is a badly want feature however they’re also thinking of the competitiveness about it, and they’re more than likely not willing to deal with trash talk, such as what goes on in Gw2WvW.net against all the GvG guilds.

However, I absolutely love GvG’s and I’d like to see the feature added in also
+1 and adding my respect to Fallen for the initiative.

EDIT: ArenaNet are probably trying to shield the rest of the player base IE; PvE, PvP and Casual WvW players from the toxicity that is the GvG scene, and it is fairly toxic – IF YOU TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.

I meant, different ways through fractals. Like 20 pristine fractal relics or like 2k normal fractal relics, just a different way to get them other than JUST drops in fractals.

Can you make it so there is a second and maybe third way of gaining fractal weapons? because at the moment they’re probably the best looking weapons behind legendary’s.

You’re clearly bad and need to L2P if you’re attacking the clones as well as copping that CC to the face instead of using the built in dodge mechanic heal that you get as a guardian. I and easily kill a mesmer on a guard, run burst medi.

I realize that. See my latest video for a fair 1v1 against a competent thief. This one just shows that Shadow Refuge isn’t a get out of jail free card, like most assume. I can’t fathom how many times I’ve knocked a thief out of shadow refuge using simple camera placement as if I were playing a ranged action RPG with a crosshair.

A well timed ranged knockback to make the thief fly out of SR is so priceless, the thief usually just stands there stunned like “revealed and no more stealth, wat do?”

It’s a joke you may not understand.

I know. Bearbows are the joke. It just seems as though many thieves think rangers are free kills, and while that’s true for the majority (they’re bad. Coming from thief I was appalled at how terrible the majority of rangers are compared to newb thieves who just like big numbers) of rangers, that assumption will get you killed 9 times out of 10 against any competent player.

No no the joke is that if you’re in a hardcore WvW guild, rangers aren’t wanted and should Uninstall, and I can tell you from playing almost all classes at 80, rangers are one of the hardest to duel. Anyone who thinks they can step on a ranger either has massive experience playing one or is playing warrior w/mace+shield Hammer.. you know the utilities.

Why not just try a condi build man, it can’t hurt and they’re somewhat fun. People will call you OP but then again, what isn’t OP anyways. Try running full apothecary w/undead runes. Sword/Dagger or Axe/torch and shortbow. Traits are whatever you feel comfortable with.

Anvil Rock is the best community I have ever been in, and the players I met and the friends I made will always be able to count on me.

I’ll definitely come back to AR if that presence we had end of seasons comes back. I will always be an Anvil Rock Invader. I’d prefer to be an Anvil Rock Invader than a Blackgate/Jade Quarry/Tarnished Coast Platinum legend. I miss all my friends in AR and depending on the presence fluctuation I may come back. However I can say this, AR has an iron will and a determination I have seen on very few servers. They pull maybe 50 – 60 during NA where as their competitors get maybe twice or close to three times that. Their Oceanic/SEA/EU may get bored but never give up.

Even though these guys aren’t my time zone, I notice the impact they have running their 25-30 man groups in EBG and ARBL. Wherever they go they leave a trail of paper towers and keeps, if you want to join a good NA guild that helps the server, and has the back up of a large OCX/SEA presence, [TBT] is a great choice.

No it’s not over. In time more players will slowly (keyword: slowly) make their way from pve to wvw so the numbers will eventually grow again like what happened to Anvil Rock. They were where Kaineng is now but managed to pick themselves up. What you need is good leadership and cooperation.

By the way, BG and JQ desperately want you. They will pay for your transfer and more.

We didn’t get any transfers, and our WvW population didn’t climb, it just grew some and started fighting back. The guilds here stopped looking for fights and started aiming for PPT, + seeing as our OCE/SEA/EU is for some weird reason a lot more present than other servers in our tiers it makes it easier for us to paper Towers/Keeps during night crew and tick above ~ 340. Only problem is our NA is still scared and doesn’t want to come out of it’s shell.
