How do I play with a friend with another server for exploration and completing hearts?
Posted by: Hebee.8460
Currently, the only option is to server transfer to play together physically. You won’t be able to server transfer though again for another 24 hours.
My guess is when they stop free server transfers, they will implement “Guesting” so 1 person can be on anothers server via party. But there has not been an announcment of when that will happen, yet…
Keep in mind that if either of you are a guild leader & have upgrades, that they will be lost on transfer. You can promote another person on that server to be lead to keep upgrades, then transfer.

At most, you should need 348 soft wood logs. I followed that guide to 400 & it was quick & easy. Hardest part was going out to a spot to farm up a few mats for recipies/weapons I wanted to actually use that were not part of that guide.
Looking through the guide though, that is the only teir that does need the most wood. I did not have a problem with wood as I salavaged nearly all loot I got from mobs, white/blue/green(depending on rune &/or TP price).
My friend noticed them at 1st so I made a quick sylvari to see this. We tried looking around for the engineer, but we couldnt find them. But holy crap, the amount of time it would take to get to lvl 40….thats insane. I have not gone back to check if they are still there.
Reminds me of running around Queensdale & coming across a random turret in an open field on main. -.-
Ive come across 3 turrets in the sylvari starter tutorial area – Rifle, Rocket, and Thumper – on Tarnished Coast server. I made a theif the night before and these were not there. Useally before I leave the tutorial area I level up the default weapon then move on but these turrets are not even letting me get a hit off to tag.
I was in the human zone area last night & I want to say I got some from centaurs along with their normal loot bags. But this is off memory.
I feel like crafting, especially early on, is too much of a grind with little to no reward.

I have been useing this sites guides and they have gotten me to 400 in 2-3 days each craft (Tops if I have abundant mats in my bank)
Hope that helps yall out.
If you go to – http://www.gw2db.com/ – and under Recipies select Huntsman, then on the next screen, check the box “Requires Recipie Item?” under the filters, then click Filter, it will show you not only the items bought from the vendor next to the workstation but also all other recipes anywhere else. You might have to look up each individual recipe on wiki/google for the exact locations, but that should get you going in the right direction with the right names.

Check the Leatherworking vendor next to the leatherworking station. He sells the rare/exotic recipes.

I was originally under the impression that “Contract Asuran Outsourcing” under the Politics tab for guild upgrades was an additional slot like “Guild Workshop”. But after some further looking into, its actually a “activate” item. The build time is 1day 6hr too.
So what Im wondering is:
- Is the 1d 6hrs the amount of time it takes to make active to use?
- If so, does it cut the time of lets say “Guild Treasure Trove” from 7d to 1d6hr?
- Is it really just an extra upgrade slot, on use though?
- If I have 2 upgrades already in que, both being built, does it shorten 1 or does it not get used until I purchase a 3rd for it to use?
Any information will help out. Thanks in advance!

My small guild has been gaining influence at a steady pace for its size (myself & 4 friends). We have been gaining influence from events & grouping together as we open more areas together. I have made some profit from the Trade Post, and used that money to buy influence when I can to boost upgrades. I have read up on influence and seen how it is gained – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Influence
What I’d like to know is if anyone has any tips/tricks to gaining a good amount of influence to get things really rolling and going even for a small guild. Thanks in advance
Your 3rd ability should be Vengeance.
I’m currently at work but coming off the top of my head, I came across a town clothing bandana in Iron Marches. I was in the lake at Morgan’s Sink and I headed east towards Lamprey Grottoes and found an underwater cave with I think Skale or the other in it. At the end were some Charr engineers working on tanks & 1 asked me to fix his. So after fixing the tank in a certain order after about 4 chat options, he gave me the bandana as a reward.
Again, this is off the top of my head and I’m not even sure it was Iron Marches, but I do know I got to the tanks through an underwater cave with Skale (or others) & the charr engineers were there fixing tanks. This has been the only town clothing I have come across.

There it is!
I read somewhere that the Satchels/Boxs made from Tailor, Leatherworker, and Armorsmith for full armor sets are more expensive in mats, then it is to make the pieces individually. Is this still the case, or has there been a hotfix?
If that is the actual look, based off the 3D model, I got that skin from killing mobs in the human starter zone. You can also check the human racial weapon vendor since any race can have other racial weapons, just not other racial armor.
edit – looking through the rest of the Valley set on GW2DB, I find it funny that the harpoongun is a spear, & the spear is a rifle :P

Talking about Meteor Shower specificly, it only does damage if the meteor hits a target (bad on small mobs) – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Meteor_Shower
But in reference to AOE caps – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Area_of_effect
Seems the cap is 5….interesting to know if true
Can’t say I have seen a cap with my grenade engineer though, especially underwater since its easier to group mobs up (to me)
Thanks guys for the suggestions! Right now I’m useing Skype since thats easy for just 2-3 of us. When the guild starts growing, I’ll look into hosting my own server before I pay for someone else to host.
Yall have any tips for hosting your own server, or things I should know ahead of time when I finally do cross that bridge?
I’m starting a casual guild, and I know how a voice chat program will make things easier to communicate to guild members when doing Dungeons/DE’s/WvW/etc.
What I’m looking for is a:
- Cheap (preferably free)
- User friendly
- Light on the computer usage
program that anyone can use.
Any recommendations will be greatly appriciated.
I’m voting for Quaggan >.> Coo!
Normal form when just walking around, and Angry/Big Teeth when in combat!

I think being able to change the color of a weapon might help?
For the staff you reference, possibly the colors you select effect particle effects as well, same would apply for other weapons.
This would make weapons more meaningful to everyone going for them.
@BakBakaa
Lyuben got it right, it is the ‘rascal’ armor. I did get it from leatherworking crafting (Level 275) as well as the sholders. The only thing that isnt Rascal, is my gloves which are part of the Prowler (325) set. The colors are Marine and a silver/grey (can’t remember)
The one annoying thing I have noticed with this coat however, is the amount of clipping in weapons/armor (like my gloves, it works though) but it might just be Charr
I really hope I’m not wasting karma buying weaponsmith recipes from hearts when I have leatherworking/huntsman :O
I noticed it is possible to purchase other discipline recipes, and when you double click to use them, it goes away like you “learned” it. What I’m curious about is:
1. Are all the recipes I have been buying actually being learned even though I dont have that profession?
2. Will they show up on the known list when I do finally pick-up another discipline, or will I have to re-purchase all the recipies again?
(I figured I would buy them anyways as I come across them, “Just in case” :P )
I’d like to add:
Please make a Plushy!
Thank you!
Maybe a Skritt too? >.>
I currently log in with @ncsoft, but it asks to put in a valid email. I put in my actual/current email & it says its already in use. Long ago, I tried GW1 & I think it is still registered under that email that I’m currently trying to link. Any help would be greatly appriciated to get my email linked to this GW2 account so I can have the email authentication up.
I like having an extra dodge since I use bombs & Elixir U. But I definatly prefer the volley ability with Elixir U since the boost in attack speed makes it nearly unload all shots in less then a second
But yeah, its funny everytime i see the pistols pointing up
The utility skill “Hidden Pistol” seems to have a graphic issue. When I use it, the pistols are pointing directly upward even though the bullets are firing toward their target.
