I typically do not play anything human. The more non-human, the more likely I’ll play it (Why I have 3 charr’s, 2 sylvari, 1asura, 1 norn, & 1 human)
Only reason I do have or would play a human/norn is female. I look at a male human in the mirror everyday.

Well, since they are now invulnerable at spawn, maybe the need to “Solo” them will slow down considering its more efficient to have more people their to kill faster.

I love the explosions from Grenades/Bombs/Mines. Flamethrower/Elixir Gun/Tool Kit is fun. The variety in complimentary Elixirs make all the other kits great to combo with, but I really wish gadgets were much better/desirable.
The fact we have a kit for nearly every occasion is what I really like, and the complexity to how they are used is what keeps me on him & cant get enough of.

I have yet to salvage a ecto, but has anyone figured out the “average” return of dusts?

Medium helm on male charr reminds me of head-phones with shades.
I do like that horns show, wish more helms showed the horns for my charr eng.

Idea from reading this came to my head – A “Mario Kart” kind of game would be interesting.

Nope to both questions.

Transmutation deletes/combines both items into 1 “new” item.

Gadgets to signets would be neat. Something/ANYTHING to make them more desired.

The armor is soul-bound cause its intended?
Otherwise, you can put money/shells in bank, switch to desired character, grab the money/shells & buy armor. There is bank access on Southsun Cove.

Considering its a “holiday” Id bet money it comes back.

Temples sell back items. However, they do not have a visible skin, purchased only for stats pretty much. (Click the Karma Merchant’s name of each temple to see the stats of the items.)

Otherwise, temple gear for looks and hearts around the world have armor sets as well.

But another thing on that GW2DB site, its listed under the “Trophies” category, among other trophies are items to throw into the Mystic Forge, so it could be used in a MF recipe. (all speculation at this point from me at work :P )

In this closeup of the jetpack, u can see what looks to be writing (?) around the jetpack. Im curious what each line means if anyone happened to spot this? It looks like there are 4 locations (circled) of writing in this screenshot alone, but 1 looks to be a “mirror” of the other.

I think if he would of mentioned at the start, I wouldn’t of had a problem with it. Just midway through the fight, him just walking into the dungeon just to sit at the front waiting for us to kill it for him, didn’t sit too well with me.

This happened last night in a dungeon I ran with some guildies. Being new to dungeons, I didn’t like the idea, so I kicked him. He switched from his warrior (60) to engineer (36) when boss was at half health. Has anyone ever came across this? What’s the community view on this?

If you want to maximize your dps, use grenade kit from 1300 range in full zerker, or bomb kit in melee range for dungeons like CoE. Always go for full zerker in PvE theres no point to gear otherwise.

FT is NOT a good weapon in a power spec since FT#1 has abysmal damage. Same thing goes for Tool Kit, it’s not really usefull in PvE since only #3 has decent damage.

Spec for swift/vigor(on crit or swap) and use Elixir B and keep that perma fury.

Does full zerk gear work for fractals? I would think giving up some of that damage for defensive stats (toughness/vitality/healing power) would help a lot in higher levels, but I have not stepped in a fractal to even know or test! lol

I’m curious how its going to change. Maybe a thought would be standing still stacks a % every second, capping at 10%?

Id rather Anet spend the time to get things straight with the current game (bugged events/traits/skills/etc.), then spend the time on an expansion really :-\.

The start time of the spring is defiantly off (or something), I harvested a couple herbs last night only to see the spring as I was running to the next herb.

There has been some data-mining and something of the sort has been found, but there has been no official confirmation.

I use grenade kit a lot & love it. I aim by actually putting the mouse where I want the grenades to go, hold down right click & do my kiting/running around/turning knowing exactly where the grenades are going, releasing the right click when I need to make adjustments, but the way it functions is fine with me. If it become auto-target/attack (which I don’t want), it would defiantly have to be nerfed.

A “proposed” change in 4 weeks? (Possibly longer if the proposed does not work.) I’m probably expecting too much, but it certainly seems other professions get faster updates/fixes then us engineers. =\
I’ll still take the fix defiantly! However, I’m just more curious how developers split their times between profession balancing for each time of play (PvE, PvP, WvW).

No you cannot transmute across 1 racial gear to another race to wear. You can however transmute the weapons.

It still seems we are the least played (PvE for myself). I do see few engineers, but it is only because I’m looking for fellow engineers to /cheer @ to keep up the good fight, as we seem to be the last battalion of die hards

Judging by the animation & how the sickle is used like a mining pick, I would say its not intended for the animation. But without a dev to say this will be how it looks or not, its intended so far
(I’ll still buy 1 just to have on main anyways, ill just use it when no ones looking as I mine a plant)

If you go with pistols, be careful when u activate #2 of pistols (poison dart volley), u can interrupt that EASY, especially if your used to spamming 1 for grenades -_-

My main character is charr & my girlfriend’s character is asura. I went to her starting area and we both finished that zone & part of her story until it took us to another zone, then at that point we went to my start zone and completed it & my story up to a point. We alternated all the same way until we got to the same point in story when Treherne (however its spelt) takes us to see Pale Tree lady for the Orr vision, which from there the stories practically align.

Pixelpumpkin brings up another good point about the mail. I do the same for my girlfriend/guildies, mailing items to salvage or just have & it does not take long to hit the “You have sent too many mails”. Lighten up the restrictions on chat & mail, let players report “Chat Spammers and Gold Sellers via mail” so you (Anet) have marks on accounts to look/investigate at instead of hurting the general players who are social.

I have had the same happen to me, announcing which Instigator is up in Southsun Cove. Announce, kill, announce, kill, announce, kill – Instigator spawn, SUPPRESSED ANNOUNCMENT. Wish this would be adjusted so I don’t seem like a jerk by not calling it out in chat for people looking for the event, especially for daily.

Is this a good candidate for stacking might? It reads like it does, but it all depends on your endurance regen. Might work well with 30 into tools for “XII-Adrenal Implant” but Im not sure and able to test currently from work.
Was curious if anyone tested this food out?
