Maybe the awkward pause (Currently at end) could be at start – character crouches down to pause/ready boots, rockets go off (Finish blast) then u go flying into dodge – that way for stealth in particular, others cannot see which direction u go in (Even though u are facing the direction your going to go)
Defiantly is a big downer it doesn’t work with kits
So is that 2 traits we have to spend a lot of points that others get by default? Necro’s 2% dmg per condition, and Ranger’s endurance regen?
I would defiantly like 1 by achievement. If you want more, sell them on Gem Store.
If you HAVE TOO/LAST RESORT rely on RNG (bad choice) a chest with better/higher chances then Dragon/Sclerite tickets (those are just too low).
Its a copy of necro master – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Target_the_Weak_
Would be a step in right direction if at least it went for the closest hostile mob/player to us.
It would always have to be a hostile (red name) cause last thing we want is it firing & going to a random object or yellow named mob or a critter.
Welcome to the world of engineers – throwing Grenades further then firing a Mortar.
This is defiantly not working as intended or expected for a “Group Event”.
Id love some input on this!
My GF loves bows (Considering she’s investing time/gold into both legendries) and as of the recent patch, we have been trying to figure out a good setup, but I do not know enough ranger as I do not play it.
(Plus it would be great to find a calculator that’s updated to current patch)
It was just a visual. Always funny seeing asura at average human height & my charr at super size. I was sad it went away & still miss it
My guess would be regen
Anyone else think that
Scope: Critical chance is increased by 10% when the distance to the target is greater than 600.
is not going to work in actual gameplay.
As a Grenade Engineer, I don’t bother to target a lot of the time…
That’s an interesting thought, does the 10% only apply to the actual target? Or is it a general 10% boost to AoE (Of course with distance)?
•Backpack Regenerator: This trait has been reworded so that it doesn’t imply that it adds the regeneration boon. This now scales with healing power from 125 to 192 (1500 healing power).
Interesting…
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/june-25-2013/ that one.
Looks like the unbreakable axe is in too with the new armor on gem store too.
Further proof this event is worse then before, a “Group Event” that is better to solo. You are better off not advertise in map chat for more people, to tell others to “Go away”. Pushing the whole idea of “Helping others” clear in the wrong direction.
I think a cool thing to add to grenadier is just faster grenade travel time such as once it hits its top point in midair the nades boost crazy fast straight to the targeted location idk just my idea
I think that would be fitting. Modified grenades with small rockets attached that shoot the grenades faster to your point. Fast enough compared to short bow ranger. (That might be too fast but MEH why not!)
Also found out last night the charge is different on the abom inside the catacombs – throws hammer then charges to the hammer to pick it back up. Neat but this event now requires the amount of people you would need for a Balth temple run, maybe close to the amount for a dragon to get done.
Not worth the time really to get a group of people for the chest, and has moved to the 2nd bottom of the list of all daily chests. (karka queen will have bottom for long time)

I would love this!! GIMME GIMME!!
Never fails when I do throw elixir R for someone else, its always to a Mesmer/Theif that always gets out of it. lol
Sooooo … rifle is a hand cannon? All I can think of is MEGAMAN!!! LOL
(Or Samus Aran)
Defiantly not complete :PShh
Shh
No, keep it as is.
It’s so beautiful
Crap, your right! /facepalm
Zho’qafa Catacombs is one of my favorite event chains. I came back to it about 5 day earlier (And past couple days), and noticed the drastic changes made to an already close to “perfect” event. Referring to 2nd part, the escort, only.
For those that are not familiar with this event chain before changes:
-Abom that spawns near the WP close by used to spawn as champ (that was Chillable) with a fast moving charge, but now spawns 3 aboms (1 vet, 2 regular) all with a slow moving charge.
-Ooze inside catacombs was a champ that pulled 4-5 people in for dodge-able knockback slam, but now is a vet.
-Abom inside catacombs was same champ as outside (Chillable/fast charge), but this new one not only has slow charge but a huge/over-the-top swing which allows him not only to reach people on rocks (Which I’m sure its why he now has this) but to insta-down 8+ people in 1 swing even when standing to the side of him clearly outta the way was added.
Originally, the event was fun! But, I understand why the attack swing was made larger, but the decision to make this attack range change is not the right one. Combo this overly large arching attack swing with not being able to slow him down with his 25 stacks of Frenzy (which make him move faster), he is on top of you and wiping out not only you but any person within a 20ft radius of you.
Here are my thoughts on how to improve this once great event:
Proposition 1: Leave the large arch swing attack, but re-instate being able to apply chilled, it would provide everyone enough breathing room to get away.
Proposition 2A: Remove the large arch, but keep him un-chillable. Allowing this to be more melee-friendly since he would have a smaller area of attack. – Remove the rocks that range will sit on the whole fight ignoring his mechanics. (Probably not the easiest)
Proposition 2B: Remove the large arch, but keep him un-chillable. Allowing this to be more melee-friendly since he would have a smaller area of attack. – Add a multi-player pull/taunt mechanic to this abom against range. (Similar to the old risen hammer throw/pull or the “tank” like boss that challenges/taunts a player at this event)
Last but defiantly not least: Buff the eye
Of all the mobs to buff/nerf/change, the eye is still the most deserving of all to have more ‘umph’ to him, since he is the final boss that stands in your way of the chest. The only “challenge” during this fight is to kill the Acolytes before they heal him, that’s it. Swap out the eye in Malchor’s Leap with this one, and everyone will defiantly have a much more satisfying time with this event!
I look forward to hearing responses/thoughts on this great event chain, and how Anet can make it better with the right input!

If we actually hold the rifle “Cannon” like this (Link above), I will definatly be getting it
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/who-are-the-aetherblades/?utm_source=client
Ty for link. Very interesting stuff there.
Happen to have a link to that reddit link? I’m very curious what the other trait stuff is.
(I don’t like the Elixir R change, I run with that all the time
)
“In this new permanent content, retrace the steps of Cobiah Marriner. Twelve plaques have been set up to honor the history of the city and its founder. You can find clues to the plaques’ locations in Sea of Sorrows. Complete the scavenger hunt to earn five skill points.” – Quote.
You get 5 skill points
Was moved here to add a red comment bubble to the front of the thread list so it seems we get dev interaction for our profession
>_>
Looks like new condition Torment stacks Intensity – https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/Torment/first#post2249371
Should defiantly be interesting. Might have to “always” go 20 into alchemy for condition removal. We will see once we play with it & learn it.
I know Scope currently does not work. (It might be fixed come 25th)

I like this one.
In general I use an all around gear setup. Knight + Magi setup really (Berserker weapons all the way though)
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/june-25-2013/
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/upcoming-skill-and-trait-changes/
After reading through the above skill and trait article, it seems a lot is going on for all classes in general, but the most is Necros and 2nd Ele’s. There is mention of Warrior, Mesmer, and Theif once but not of any other.
I am very excited/skeptical of the trait changes, but not getting hopes up. I am only hoping for the best, and going to roll with what comes. (higher you set hopes, more likely your going to get disappointed anyways, keep them low :P )
So here’s to new steampunk gear/weapons and trait/skill revisions hopefully in our favor! /crossesfingers
Since it doesn’t hurt to ask: Any way a dev could give us eng’s a sneak peak of what is to come for us?
EDIT – http://pastebin.com/2rrFg9pS unofficial patch notes found on reddit, provided by Penguin.5197: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1gr1nh/skill_traits_patch_notesleakedunconfirmed/

I vote for a new one with new animation brought back around the same time. So those that have the molten still stand out. (My main has the molten but Id like to get another/different look for an alt.)
I would love to be able to interact again with hearts I completed. It would make helping friends with hearts much easier showing them how to complete a heart instead of trying to tell them how to do it.
New armors coming. Very high chances of being gemshop.
I was hoping they’d put them in Black Lion Chests. I just got a key leveling an alt, so I’m sure I’d have had a good chance of getting one.
No to chests please. The chance will be as low as southsun sun weapon ticket.
You can view your bank at a crafting table but other then that, you have to physically be there. (There is also the portable/consumable bank access items)
I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have, really for keeping track of how many mats you have incase your farming for 1 item & only need a certain amount so you don’t waste too much of your time. Defiantly a convenience option.
Sounds like the same problem necros have when they use their shroud (I know of the necro cause my GF’s loses the karka tentacle back every time)
engineer rocket-boot into the portal
Well I play an ugly psycho little midget that wields a large flamethrower in an attempt to compensate for his lack of size.
~cough~
Uhm…nope. Nothing like me. Not at all.
Move along, nothing more to read here….
From what I have heard, great things come in small packages.
- I picked engineer cause I love explosions, guns, and fire. Plus some of the ability’s are silly.
(4th of July and New Years I always HAVE to do huge fireworks. I’m also a little goofy/corny IRL.)
- I also find it fun to help others too so throwing elixirs, dropping supply crate, and setting up turrets is good support.
(I always offer a helping hand when I can naturally, “Treat others like you would want to be treated” as some would say & I live by.)
- Being a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ has always been something I favored, taking it as far as I can to try to be ready for anything and be flexible with others.
(Kind of goes with being helpful. If someone is used to a certain way, I’ll make adjustments on my end to accommodate to the situation.)
- My view of the game seems to me similar to an engineers thoughts as in “What can I learn about this to tweak it for the better”.
I think this solo story stuff is bad & wrong. What they did with the Flame & Frost story was great. The story telling was fun & great, easy enough for 1 person but also fun/scalable for 2+ people. Saying all that though….
Ending it on a dungeon wasn’t exactly a great way to end it, if anything it would of been nice to have a solo/5man option for it. But I loved that dungeon, it was fun & challenging & a blast to run over & over.

Dulfy knocked out the locations fast earlier today aswell.
Or hop on another character
Sooooo … rifle is a hand cannon? All I can think of is MEGAMAN!!! LOL

Defiantly not complete :P

Try looking around here for a skin that’s more appealing.
Kind of pointless to reduce the amount of achievements needed, considering more will be given/handed out as part of the story later…
Why are all temple threads not stickied? They are the most looked/posted threads on the Dynamic Event forums.
It’s always handy to have a shield in your inventory for any occasion, it brings a lot to the table that could turn a point in a fight around in your favor. I liked the Jade shield as well but I used it with my magic find set since I was set with main shield from SAB (I just need to find a pistol skin since the quaggan pistol is funny looking). Otherwise I stick with duel pistols.
I would buy a guaranteed skin off the gem store for 800-1k gems per. With the current and past skin’s, Id buy 3-4 minimum.
I defiantly support the skin on the gem store option. But I would prefer if skins were handled in the way of April content – SAB.
I’m at work so I cannot tell. But could it just be that the mobs are taking longer to kill, which is why everyone is seeing less then they normally do?
