An option to have hobosacks off is all engineers need.

Been there since beta. He was much worse (but oh so fun) then now.
When you 1st start into the game, you will be in the “Tutorial Area” that will end once you kill the “End Boss” of that area (Boss different per race).
The little help hints you get as you level is pretty much your own personal tutoring you will get. Otherwise I learned its a decent amount of trial and error, or just asking friendly guildies what they know of a subject.
Use http://us.gw2stuff.com/en/events/us (Im guessing US :P) to keep an eye on destroyer on other servers if you really want to focus heavy on getting the claws.

Best way I got mine: Keep an eye out for Megadestroyer event since that will spawn a lot of destroyers which will get you a lot of Large Claws you can convert up to Vicious.
Were you expecting a total new skin?
Otherwise, they would have to take down the medium and heavy back when they took the light.
There is no confirmation of it happening. The thread title just reads like there is confirmation.
If this is accepted by the community – this leaves it open for Anet to add additional bonuses to future gathering tools, which in turn renders the Molten/Bone Pick, Consortium/Jack-in-the-box Sickle, and Chop-It-All/Dreamcleaver Axe far more insignificant since the newer tools will be bought for their bonus & not the convenience like their original implementation intent.
Far-Out Example:
-1st its Sprockets on a Mining Pick.
-Next its Passion Flowers on Sickles (Or whatever crafting material that fits harvesting.)
-Then its Hidden Treasures on Axes (Or whatever crafting material that fits logging.)
This kind of item allows Anet to “bend the rules” further & further each time they put out a gather tool with a bonus (But what is to stop them from just doing gathering tools). If you bend something so far, it will break; and in worst case, it could break the game to a “P2W” feel.
Basically – I do not like the possibilities this gathering tool could lead the game to, and hope Anet chooses wisely on future implementation of convenience items.
I like the new orange danger area indicators. Been super great on my color blindness, but I only have issues seeing the red depending on the color of the ground its on. My color blindness is pretty bad so this orange is a huge help to me.
A toggle/check-mark for the color, could just keep red at default & orange the optional choice.

It does make since they didn’t add animations to creatures when they go in water, cause I have certainly at times brought some creatures in water & they freeze up & “float” back to land in statue form.
Well I do hope they eventually work on the animations, at least for mini’s sake, only after they take care of more pressing game issues.

If they bumped the other stats to ascended level & possibly bump the precent’s up by 1 percent, that might be fine. But I think it would be fine if the precent’s stayed the same. (Someone would have to do the math to really find a “sweet spot” for those numbers if we want them bumped up)
I am more concerned with the weapons anyways. If Anet focused on those 1st that might help them have a smaller “To Do List” to focus on this issue. 
Otherwise a simple answer of “Were looking into this” or “We have no intent of bringing Giver to Ascended” would go a really long way.
Ryn, just wanted to find out if you actually bought the Strength runes to find out if the 6th rune works & to see how its going?

If its there, it would be last thing I ever buy. There is not urgent need of such a thing in PvE that traits/skills cant cover since most ground travel is minimal in open world since there are waypoints to make travel faster. Its not that hard/annoying to push couple buttons to burst across land & leave auto-run on. Shouldn’t be spec’ing with movement in mind anyways in PvE.
If such a thing is implemented it would have to not work in dungeons/fractals as it would just be another tag on the speed runs “must have speed boost”. If so, gift it for me, thanks.
Consider the help these waypoint provide to you:
1. Gets your friends to you faster, otherwise you have to wait for them to make a run from Frostgourge to you in Cursed Shore (Worst case).
2. You can get to your friends faster to the dungeon they want in a zone you are no where near.
3. If you wipe in a dungeon/fractal, & there is no waypoint, you would then have to start completely over since you have to leave the dungeon to resurrect.
All these points go both ways (you to friends and friends to you).
If you want “immersion” don’t use them like others have said. Make sure to explain that to your friends in the world, in dungeons, and fractals that “immersion” is more important then getting to said place in a timely manner so you do not waste their time.

Pretty much. It is very unfortunate that this stat combo is being forgotten about & is just expecting people to be ok with it being left off. Which at that point it will more then likely just be eliminated.
Opening gift boxes and getting a exotic recipe of Giver makes me depressed every time this Wintersday.
Added for future expansion of levels in FotM beyond 50 probably which would require more AR. But the difference in stats from exotic to ascended is about 5%ish (Based on other peoples calculations)

Its ok Cold Hearted Person, I wanted to at least bring this stat topic up since the last update we got was it is currently up in the air, waiting if Anet will catch it or let it drop.
Hoping for best, preparing for worst.

This is very sad to hear & really most unfortunate
I would love to see the comment made by ArenaNet about this situation, & an updated reason why Giver is not in Ascended stats currently.
If there is no reason for it, then just an acknowledgment of “yes its coming” or “no its not” would very much satisfy not only myself, but many players who utilize these stats. This would let us focus our current efforts in holding off on creating Ascended/Legendary equipment, into other avenues that would be more beneficial to us besides waiting.

I among others would like to reliably use this skill, without having to worry if we get the benefit or not.
I agree with PopeUrban. I have a lot more trouble with red circle rings depending on landscape color then the bells. It was a HUGE improvement when they added the pulse-like effect to the rings which use to be just dull lines.
I am colorblind & always had trouble, but not enough that I cant get things done. But that’s just me

If its coming, a Yes works.
If its not coming, a No and legitimate why is great.
I feel same way ixie.
Only thing really holding me back on Quip & Ascended Shield.
I swapped my spec to 30/30/0/0/10 and noticed I melt mobs in my rampager gear. I kept celestial trinkets though so it could be better. Id even consider zerk gear would be better.
I didn’t actualy take a calculator or write all the numbers down, I just noticed mobs were falling way faster.

1 of Anet’s many goals.
It was meant to be at a regular salvage kit level. It is “most unfortunate” it is now brought back to its original intention upon implementation, but if someone bought it just cause of this bug; they do not deserve a refund.
Buying said item to exploit an obvious bug is not a reason to give them their money back because they missed out on it.
I have this Salvage-o-matic and every minor rune/sigil I got I just vendored cause they all sold for junk on TP. I bought it (when it 1st came out) for convenience as I was tired of carrying 2-3 salvage kits everywhere I went. It never occurred to me if I was getting more or less runes/sigils, nothing had changed even during said “quality” change of the item to me.
Last year we got Giver stat combo for weapons/armor.
Weapons = Condition Duration, Vitality, and Power
Armor = Toughness, Healing Power, and Boon Duration
I have 4 questions:
1. Has the ascended version finally been put in this year to craft? Edit – NO
2. Has the ascended version finally become selectable on legendries? Edit – NO
3. If it is not in, are there plans to make it available?
4. If there are no plans to bring it, why not?
Id love to have the ascended stat combo available for my engineer.

•Firearms XI—Modified Ammunition: This trait now works regardless of the equipped weapon.
Does this modify damage when you have a kit equipped, or does it modify damage only when having a P/S, P/P, Rifle physically out in our hands?

“Sic Em” falls off 85-90% of the time after use. (This has been happening when sitting on the indestructible golem in PvP area, & the practice dummies in LA) Only casting it when the golem has reset and under the below conditions:
1. Auto-Attacking & casting only “Sic’em”, watching it fall off immediately or 1-2 seconds after its applied.
2. Standing 15-20 feet away to not auto-attack the golem, casting “Sic’em”, and watching the pet get the buff & immediately lose it.
2a. While watching my pet attack, I noticed he stops for a brief moment then resumes attacking, which at that moment the boon Sic’Em falls off.
I do hope this is fixed very soon.

I say its worth buying whole armor sets for 1 item. I have used 1 item, & the rest are going to be used on alternate stat gear or alternate characters. Just depends on how you make it look.

I don’t always dress “revealing”. But when I do, I go for under-boob (Human Medium T3) & some underwear showing armor (Norn Heavy t3).
Only 2 of my 8 characters are dressed “revealing” considering I mostly prefer just looking like I kick butt no matter the character.
These are “subtle” if you consider looking at Tera & other of those type of game’s female armor theme.
Had to update Hebee Jebeez’s entire set cause of the gas mask, which is AMAZING!
Colors: Dark Blue/Black (Midnight Ice), White (Celestial), Light Blue (Summer Sky?)
