This should help you figure out the different types of chests. I’m not sure how the lockout of looting a chest agian works, last i heard it was a 24hr CD, but iv also heard some reset with the daily. /shrug

Zudet, I ran the Zho’qafa Catacombs lastnight, I got 2 rares off it & everyone else got at least 1 rare. I would definatly say it was improved.

The jungle wurm is in the sylvari starter zone. The centuar leader guy at Harathi Hinterlands drops a chest (NE corner) but not as large as the dragons/temples. Could make it so once your in combat, you can’t harvest?
This would of been a big pain when making a run past the champ karka for the Rich Orichalcum Node, but now with all being practally on even field (& personally, no desire to go back to that node), shouldn’t be too much of an issue to clear mobs near the node u want. That’s my thought to prevent these porting bots.

These bots like to port from 2 places I have caught them – Entrances from other zones, and waypoints. If you happen to be passing by either & see someone, just stand there a moment & watch if they disappear & reappear. What u can do is actually click their location they keep porting from & click them before u even physically see them, giving u decent enough time to report, but u still have to be quick. Iv gotten maybe 10 of these types, but have seen others just out in the open too fast to report.

Sounds like you are double clicking really. Double clicking consumes items (potions/food), puts them in use(Salvage Kits), and equips gear. To drag an item, just click & hold the button down to drag it where you would like it to go.
If it still registers as a double click, you might have to check your mouse settings, for both game & computer, just to make sure.
Thats about all I can offer, I am not having this issue though. Hope you figure it out!

Also healing power does not effect rezzing. Pop a Elixir U and you will rez really fast though, its the Quickness that makes it happen so fast. Same thing if you pop Elixir U and hit a mine/tree, you will swing that tool really fast.

I’m now curious what exotic is dedicated for the chest for Zho’qafa Catacombs since we figured out Final Rest.

I was personally hoping more for Final Rest to be in the catacombs cause it felt more work was put into getting to the chest, compared to SB’s chest.

My GF is playing right now (& I’m at work :’( ) and has told me that Tarnished Coast (NA) catacombs escort is bugged at the entrance to the tomb. Has anyone else had this problem on their server?

Ranger pets getting hit by Champ Abom’s attacks also build stacks of frenzy, making kitting much more of a hassle. Also keeping them frozen help A TON.

I make it a point to do this event chain once a day, and find it fun & profitable.
Post in map chat to get everyone to come, more people, more chances to hopefully get the staff. There is a waypoint to the northeast of the catacombs (I dont recall the name) but if you kill the veteren there, the WP will be uncontested & people can instantly come & will help those a general direction of where to go.

This is my 2nd character, my warrior Bertha Knocks. All taken as I was leveling her up & working on her gear. My main is an engineer, but I’ll have to go through the screens to find a good “timeline” of those.

Yeah were talking about the same place. PopeUrban has been there too it looks like, I never saw/looted a chest though & i managed to get deep into there as well.

My favorite still is the clock tower. It took the longest of all the JP’s for me, but it felt amazing to finish it.
I’d like to know Josh, if the area in Sparkfly Fen near the Point of Interest and Vista The Tower of Modius that you gain access to through Verarium Delves is going to be a JP later?
I’m not online right now to provide a screenshot but what I came across was a rich platnium with a veteran guarding it, then some bushes to the side that were hiding a cave with what looked like a crumbling fort inside that didnt have anything inside.

My GF bought 1 for her theif and she got a rare 80 shortbow, and a 78 rare medium armor.

Has anyone ever heard of this issue? I called up my internet provider (Comcast) and the guy ran it through his people & supervisor and they have not heard of this kinda issue.

While I’m playing GW2:
- I have great connection
- Roommate turns XBox on & its still a great connection
- He plays on XBox Live for awhile & still a great connection
- Turns XBox off, lag central or a kick after 1-2min of lag
- After 2-3 min, I can reconnect and not have problems at all

We both are running our systems off wireless, and its 20 mbs. I did some googling of this issue and couldnt find much of anything (If i put it in right in google). I’m going to try to hardwire his xbox to the modem & see what happens but I wanted see if anyone has run into this issue. Thanks in advance!

It has always been about looks/skins. Everything is a build up to a skin you want. Karma comes easy if you at minimum finish dailys for jugs of karma, do events in Orr (Straits of Devestation, Malchor’s Leap, and Cursed Shore) and Frostgorge Sound with a guild/group. Also WvW is a great option too to tag events & keep on trucking around, even with a zerg for easy karma mode.

You can use this link that has a verity of weapon skins & shows how you can get them. Some weapon skins can be found per zone so u dont have to buy a high priced item off the TP, it all depends on what look your going for.

Some weapons dont have the stat combo certain players arent looking for but they like the skin, so thats another reason y people will buy a weapon just for skin. Just depends on how you build your character.

The exotic to exotic comment is a lil confusing, since i could take a dungeon skin & put it on a white starter weapon on an alt & use the low lvl stats while keeping the high lvl look. Same goes in reverse, you could take a starter weapon & put dungeon stats on it for your high lvl character. – All of it depends on what look you want & stat combo.

I noticed some professions have traits that proc off criticals made to me, & that is what made me curious.

I always pick anything that is not human/normal, so Charr was my 1st pick, Asura, Norn (had to be female, just feels like an amazon/barbaric woman), then sylvari.

I have only done the catacomb escort event twice in Straits of Devestation, but thats too soon to tell anything from that alone. I’ll still keep hitting it though if I’m in the area.
What I’m curious about is how many times have you (everyone) ran the event? Even if you just showed up to kill the eye.

It’s a anorexic dolyak. Poor thing is not being fed right by that “samurai”.

It makes since for prices to go up across the board if more & more bots are being banned. Less accounts out there providing the mats for a high demanded item will raise the price of what is left.

But as Colin said, no nerf. You just had some bad luck on salvages.

If you build yourself with alot of toughness, and self regen, you could “sit” at a mob & kill them after awhile. But dodging is there to help avoid the large attacks that many mobs have, avoid knockdowns/stuns, and get around the mob much faster then running. Some mobs put AoE’s on the ground with a red ring, & its perty much a signal to get out of that red ring fast with either running or dodging out. (Sometimes the ring appears around the mob, or where ever they cast it on you)

Building you character to be very tough though, you sacrifice alot of damage/support so you want to find a good balance between the 3 that fits your playstyle, while being efficient to a group setting (dungeons).

Kiting is much part of the combat, but the amount of it depends on what mob your fighting. Some only require just to move a tap of the key, while others require constant kiting (Risen Abominations build damage/speed with each hit).

What is the max amount of character slots you can have?

Origianlly I was under the impression 8 was the max, but a friend of mine has 9 slots. So im curious if anyone has hit the cap on character slots.

Just roll with it for now. I believe name change is eventually going to be included with the make-over kit, or added sepereatly. Why didn’t you spell check at the character creation? (The typo though makes u unique though, people remember your name)

on the east side of lion’s arch near the farm, there are racing moas or some kinda moa that hints at racing. Im wondering if they are intended to be ridable and u race in lion’s arch, or you just bet on them as they race w/o a rider?

For some, revisiting the Chantry of Secrets resolved the issue. A few were able to work around the issue by by revisiting every map on the required list. If you encounter this issue and are not able to fix it on your own, you will have to contact ArenaNet support.

I would try the Chantry 1 more time just to make sure, log off & back on too, otherwise hope you get your reward soon and goodluck.

Sounds like you discovered all locations to appear on your map, but did you do Hearts/Points of Interests/Vistas/Skill Points of each zone? WvW counts as well for 100% world completion.

I believe those two armors were removed during/before the beta process (Though I wish they weren’t ) That corset looking 1 has been requested for quite awhile by other players with no responce as to why its not in game.

Ya, its how I figured out my warrior’s look so I know what zones/dungeons/karma amount to get before I started that journey to get what I wanted
