The new changes to leveling would be okay with some adjustment. By “some” I mean a lot.
^This. You couple the new leveling changes with the way the trait system is right now and it’s a messed up system. I hope everyone who likes the new leveling system can at least understand why there are those of us who find it frustrating and broken compared to what we had before.
I see a lot of talk about alliances. Two questions on that front:
1) What functionality would you like to get out of an alliance?
2) What makes you want alliances?I’ll try to answer them myself.
1) Ability to play content that is made for larger guilds. Ability to connect some of my guilds and have them be able to chat together without the commitment of being in the same guild.
2) My guild is small and there is not enough content for small guilds. I think we could make more small guild content too which would help alleviate the need for alliances.
I want alliances because my alliance in GW1 started in 2007. We were all stoked that we were going to come over here as an alliance. People have attachment to their guild though as well. What happened? 4 of the guilds went their own way. 2 of those folded back into my guild again because they felt being around everyone was a better idea than being separate, but people shouldn’t have even had to make the choice. They should be able to keep their guild AND be a part of a bigger social structure. If Alliances get to come back it means we can have Alliance chat again and it’s win/win all the way around.
Not to derail the thread but since you asked, for me personally, the two biggest things GW1 has over GW2 are build templates and Alliances. I don’t think you guys understand what a big deal it was for a lot of us when this game came out and Alliances didnt make their way into this game from GW1.
Proposal Overview
Make it very hard to leave a guild by accident.Goal of Proposal
To prevent loss of personal guild banks and their contents, or guild leaders losing control of their guilds to a random member who then wrecks the guild. To prevent the tension involved in every rep swap when hopping to a personal guild for inventory management … “Will this be the moment I click the wrong button and lose it all?”Proposal Functionality
- Move the Leave Guild button away from other frequently used buttons.
- Make the Leave Guild button obviously dangerous — perhaps make it red and octagonal shaped (though that is more a warning to US players, maybe, as it looks like a Stop Sign for drivers).
- Give a warning popup. If you are the sole member of the guild, “Warning: This will disband the guild and all items in the guild bank will be destroyed. Proceed?” If you are the leader, “Warning: You are stepping down from leadership and may not be able to return to your leader position. Proceed?” If you are a regular member, “Warning: You are leaving (Guild Name). You will no longer have access to guild benefits. Proceed?”Small and focused as this is, I really do approve/agree.
This is really good and it’s totally true.
Also, I think a valid point in these discussions about multiple guilds would be the fact that we can’t store gold in our personal bank. Someone from ArenaNet even suggested having a personal guild bank when the change was made to alleviate the issue. Unless a way to store gold in personal storage is added along with Alliance functionality at least as good as in GW1 is added I am totally uninterested in being able to be in less than 5 guilds.
Separate tabs for chat that show a number in a bracket for how many comments there have been in that tab since you last looked at it.
So the chat tab would look like:
- | Combat | All | Random Guild Name[RNDM](4) | Other Random Guild [RnDm](15)
It is still a drop down window though, as apposed to a click.
Specifically: | Random Guild Name[RNDM](4) |
Unless i am not understanding your design.

Think of that garbage diagram I threw out there as the top of the chat window and each of those is a tab. the number in brackets (4) is the number of messages that has been typed since you last looked at it. You click the tab to view those. Kinda like how Twitter works when you have it in a browser window you arent looking at. It would say Twitter(24) meaning there were 24 tweets you havent seen yet since you last looked at that particular page.
Yep so an extra click. We can do better than that (-:
Chris
Fair enough. As long as I get my guild Message of the Day in the chat window, I am ok with whatever
Sold!!
Haha! Have a great evening and thanks again Chris.

Guild Alerts and Calander
I really like this. A guild calendar would be amazing.
@Thiagugu: I think what happens is ArenaNet thinks: “This is great! We will add more collections later to this. Nice work everyone!” But, just like guild missions and mini dungeons and a lot of other things that get added in this game, they get one pass. They implement stuff and then it falls by the wayside. When’s the last time we got a batch of Jumping Puzzles? Mini Dungeons? Dungeons? Guild Missions? They even said they were going to add a reward track every month for PvP. That didn’t happen either.
I wouldn’t hold your breath on them adding to collections anytime soon. I am sure when they design this stuff it is their intention to do so, but then it falls by the wayside. Look at SAB. They sold an item on the store for it and that thing is gonna sit fallow for months.
There are bugs!
Why this game doesn’t have something like Blizzard PTR (Public Test Realm) where we can test the build for a month before release to the real servers?
Basically our test servers are the live ones, we are beta testing the game at the moment with our real accounts.
^this. Colin even said it. They have so many real time metrics in place that they just test on us. hence why we get new content like guild missions and mini dungeons and then they are never added to. they just keep piling systems on top of systems. that’s why there are multiple groups of people that like different things and no one agrees on what they want. We all want new content added to existing systems and there are so many that they can’t possibly keep up with it all.
QoL Proposal
A toggle function for showing unpartied guildies on the mini map as dots in PvE for guild missions. This also includes a function for Commander Tags where only guild members can see the commander tag on the map and mini map.
Guild Functionality
- Being able to sort guildies in the guild member list in a variety of ways(By rank, in ascending/descending order, last login etc.)
- Add more icons to the icon list so that members can be sorted into multiple groups. That way leaders can identify guildies by what they like to do and they only have to look at an icon to signify that.
QoL Proposal
Guild Message of the Day appearing in the chat window (upon login AND upon switching guilds so that all Guild MotDs appear in the chat window).
There are no drawbacks to this. Only less headaches for leaders so they dont have to explain to guildies that, “Yes, in fact there are guild missiobns tonight like it says in the MotD!”. My custom arena shows my message of the day in chat. Why doesn’t my guild message of the day do so?
I finished up the Honor of the Waves Collection just now. The Ascended trinket is awesome to get! I want to say that first. However, the two golds and exotic I got were NOT level 80. Seriously!?! This needs to get fixed. The rewards for this stuff are not matching up with the time and effort being put in to complete these ArenaNet. Thanks for your time.
Here’s a good example of the poor design thing: The Exotic Collection is all of the skins that drop out of the Champ boxes. You added the Scavenger Hunt to the game that players wanted for non-RNG precursors and left out the precursors and in turn made the cheapest Exotics for using in the Mystic Forge too expensive to use in the Mystic Forge to get precursors! Read that out loud. You literally took what you said you were giving us, removed the thing we wanted and made the thing we wanted more expensive? Who is this for?
BTW Where’s the Fractal Collection?
I have 8 of 16 Dragon Jade weapons unlocked. I would have to buy 8 more of those weapons(the ones I never bought because they aren’t to my tastes)in order to get 7 weapon tickets. It would be cheaper and less of a headache for me to just buy the weapons I like outright.
They should have made the BL achievement like this: Collect any 16 BL weapons to unlock this achievement. A lot of this stuff isn’t for the players but it’s made to look like it is. It’s for their pocket book. I am all about them making coin, but would rather them take my money by giving me compelling content and features that feel like they were put in the game to enhance my experience as a player.
ArenaNet: Please see that this makes its way up the chain to people making these decisions. The game is sliding in quality in every area sans the gem shop and that is only getting better for ArenaNet, not the players.
I left after the old man showed up in SWG so I never even got to play JTL in Star Wars Galaxies. I am glad I got all the classes to level cap. The new stuff(from what I am hearing from guildies who like to level new toons) is deplorable at best. It’s been a whine fest in my guild.
For me it’s been 50/50. The stuff in there I love, I really love. The stuff in there that I feel was handled poorly just makes me scratch my head.
They will add more collection achievements over time.
Don’t count on that.
ANet has proven to be more than willing to simply abandon and forget systems and ideas that didn’t live up to their expectations. The system as it is, right now, is all we can ever count on seeing.
If they add more later? Great. But never say “They’ll add more to it”, because they can change their minds about that.
^This. They add new systems and say they will update the stuff they add and then don’t. They did it with mini dungeons, dungeons, monthly reward tracks for pvp, karma vendor items, etc. The list is too long to go over.
Go to your map.
Click a commander.
Join Squad.
Now you only see one commander instead of 100.
Or just a way to disable seeing them at all like we have been asking for for 2 years.
I’m not playing old content that I am tired of. I have been playing it for two years and adding new rewards to it again(champ bags) and again(new achievements) doesn’t sound fun to me. Will I do it with the stuff that does sound fun or I still enjoy? Totally.
Path day… still waiting for those relevant new futures for veterans
You are walking down the future of the path?
I’d suggest taking it a step further and hiding AP from other players altogether. I am almost to my 15k chest and I don’t think AP should show at all because of what it does to lfg dungeon teams. I don’t use the lfg tool though so my opinion may carry less weight.
I agree with the gist of your post. There are so many games that are considered classics that do zero hand holding whatsoever. Playing your first MMO is a daunting adventure. There is so much to learn, but I think that is the thing that gives players that replayable factor that you can’t get in a lot of other games.
I am glad I have all the classes to 80. The new trait system coupled with the changes coming today look to be less than top notch. I am so glad I have enough leveling tomes should this game ever get a new race or class. I will level that character to 80 and then go play the new starter maps and mid level zones.
Where do you get the idea that collection achievements will destroy the chance of a precursor hunt? It seems like a really good way to implement it to me. It probably won’t be part of this patch, but it might make it easier in the future.
I don’t have the idea it will destroy it. All I am saying is that this looks like what the scavenger hunt for precursors was going to be. They implemented the scavenger hunt and left out the precursors. the only reason people wanted a scavenger hunt in the first place was to have a way to get a precursor without the RNG.
That doesn’t mean I don’t think the addition of this feature isn’t cool. I very much think it’s a great addition. 2
Is this new “Collections” system just the scrapped precursor scavenger hunt? I remember ArenaNet said we were getting a scavenger hunt for precursors at some point. This new collection system seems like it is totally a scavenger hunt with rewards, sans precursors.
In my opinion this is a cool new system. You get to go around collecting stuff and you get stuff in return. I think the whole reason the community wanted this though was for a way to get a non RNG precursor. At what point do we get that system that rewards us with a non RNG precursor? Is that off the table because precursors are such money makers because of the gem shop? Is that one of the reasons for the delay of that system?
I don’t think there’s any reason to hand out precursors to people that feel entitled to them, merely because they want them.
If Anet wants to implement a scavenger hunt for legendary precursors, let them make NEW precursors for NEW legendarys…………ones that pertain to the new method of obtaining them.
I think this new collection system is what the Scavenger Hunt for precursors was. They scrapped it and it became this. The precursor thing isn’t going to happen. It’s too lucrative a money maker for them as people buy gems and then buy their precursor with the gold they converted from gems. This is a cool system though for the most part.
After watching Wooden Potatoes video today about the Feature Pack tomorrow coupled with this thread I realized you could do tutorial videos in the Hero Panel! In WP’s video there are little preview clips of the finishers. You could do a similar thing with Downed State, dodging, traits etc. to explain the game better.
They will implement this for the first Ach. box you get at 500 points. Sorry, but it’s not retroactive. Just buy a new account! :P
With the new features hitting tomorrow, I realized how awesome the update is going to be tomorrow! It’s really cool to see all of it at once instead of spread out over 3 weeks. There was a little more impact for me from Ritchie Procopio’s video today than the marathon preview over a 3 week span. ArenaNet, I am looking forward to it immensely.
I don’t agree with the Black Lion Weapon Collection Achievement though. It seems the update is more for the economy of the game than it is for actual players. What do I mean by that? Well, we can’t get the achievement by owning weapons across different sets. It has to be from a specific set of weapons(at least that is how it looked to me in the video) and that rubs me the wrong way. The game economy will flourish, but it means players will have to get weapons they may not want in order to get the achievement.
Why not service the players instead of the economy with this? Make it so the Black Lion Weapons you get toward that achievement can be from any of the weapon sets? That way, we get the weapons we want. We get the achievement we want. You get the money you want from gems and everyone is happy. I don’t see a down side for the players in doing it this way. The way you are setting it up now feels like it is more in service of the market by getting us to buy weapons we may not want. There isn’t a single one of the sets that I like across the board. All the sets have specific weapons in them I like, but generally speaking there are a lot of weapons in those sets I don’t like at all.
I say this because I own about 20 BL weapons. I have multiples from a couple sets but nothing that will get me an achievement and I sure as heck am not going to buy weapons I don’t like with my hard-earned real money to convert to gems, or my hard earned gold in game. Everyone wins if we get achievements for collecting weapons we like.
I will be looking forward to this as much as I am looking forward to having my guild message of the day appear to all my guild members in their chat box when they log in :P
Sure, the people that have posted here have strayed way far off topic(what else is new?) but my intent was to show why we are never getting capes. The new preview video for the Feature Pack tomorrow by BogOtter further emphasizes my point for me. They are releasing *48 NEW Back Pieces tomorrow. Just let that sink in. The Fractals can’t have a Fractal Armor Set of skins, but we are getting 48 NEW Back Pieces.
^This is the real reason why we won’t ever get guild capes.
The thing I found lame was that it was for certain types of BL weapons. It should just be having a certain number across all the sets. There isn’t a single set of BL weapons that I like across the board, so now I need to spend real money or copious amounts of gems gambling on Black Lion Chests for rewards or buying skins I don’t like off the BLTC?
Gross.
It should have been a collection of any 8 or 16 skins. That way your collection can be the stuff you like. Whatever though, I don’t chase achievements I don’t like or find gross so I will just chalk this up to that. The lame part for me is I own like 20 BL Weapons but they are across the spectrum of skins.
Can creative future update?
Always update some useless story, not a lot of bug fixes
I want camel ride seals, elephant riding, riding dragon, wvw flight combat
I want to parachuting, gliding cliff jump, I want to ski, paddle, ride balloons.
i want fly in the gw2
I want to design their own clothes, Instead of buying designer clothes.
Because of the axe in your pic, I would venture to say you have dropped quite a few hours into the game as it is.
Why time spend in game when hours put in already of the many time?
People tend to forget that the Feature Patches only improve already existing mechanics. They neither aim for changing the entire gameplay, nor do they aim for implementing new content.
In my opinion that’s the biggest problem in communication for Anet. They improve or fix existing features. Still they call it Feature Packs instead of, let’s say, Improvement Packs. Paired with their “one news per day policy”, it’s easy to be hyped as a player and therefore being disappointed. And that is really sad because some points are really nice and don’t get the right attention because of said miscommunication.
Except that before all this started, Anet explained what feature packs were, and people simply decided to make their own definition instead of using the one provided.
The separated the content packs from the feature packs so they wouldn’t take away from each other. Essentially all the other fixes and new stuff that wasn’t new content would go into feature packs. This was in one of the blog posts on Anet’s site.
There are miscommunications though Vayne throughout this announcement phase. While not directly related to the feature pack, the first person/Third person camera interview stuff is a terrible miscommunication. Do you really think they believed that people wanted a 1st person camera for combat? Really?
The original Commander Tag implementation was handled terribly. They fixed it. That is great, but they still have turned it into a gold sink instead of a QoL thing for the players. The tags don’t even have the functionality that they deserve or many of the amazing functions that players were asking for with it. It took that long to implement color coding for it?
These changes are all really good for the most part. Players still have the right to be ticked that certain things like waiting two years for armor sorting weren’t implemented a long time ago. That’s basic functionality in 2007’s market. Are there people being unreasonable? Sure, *but there are reasonable people responding to some of the unreasonable changes and misscommunications on ArenaNet’s end as well.
Salt miners need to come up for air every now and then. Your waifus miss you. Ferris Bueller’s dad would say to wrap a hot towel around your head. Stale meta is stale.
Here is my theory on why we will never get guild capes: Back items are the meta rewards a lot of the time. If they release guild capes, it would completely negate my working toward any other back item ever again. Capes are that cool. They have your guild logo on them. They rock. The reason given that Charr can’t wear them etc. is bunk. Just design a cape that works on Charr. Nothing says Charr can’t have a different type of cape that works for them.
That’s my theory on why it has never happened and never will. But hey, the “Guild CDI” is coming up next week. Maybe capes are one of the avenues we need to pursue as a community again. Then again, there are other things that I think are more important than, “just another backpiece” since we have too many in the game as it is, in my humble opinion.
I’d much rather have Anise turn out to be Livia’s protégé and/or daughter personally. I’m hoping for her return, but to have it as a, “Haha! I’ve been here along!” would be kinda irksome.
This is more my leaning. Livia and Anise held/hold the same office. I could see a relation here. With Livia still alive it could actually be her pulling the strings and Anise doing the work for her. I was trying to think of people/creatures that would still be alive that would have a connection to Livia and the only ones that come to mind are Isgarren http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Isgarren and the Dwarf, Ogden Stonehealer http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ogden_Stonehealer . One of Glint’s children could remember Livia, as she was with me countless times when we rescued them from Destroyers in GW1. :P
I was totally cool with the b2p model when I thought there would still be armor sets and weapons that showed other players what content I was playing by what I was wearing and wielding. When the game started we had that. 2 years in and the whole design focus shifted. That is all well and good, but had I known that it was going to shift so dramatically to a different style it would have given me pause on buying the game at launch for sure.
Magic Find is 100% useless. All the rewards are in the form of items that MF has zero impact on. I don’t think I need to explain why this would be frustrating to a player. With it being playable one time though because there is no loot for magic find to affefct, I guess it doesn’t matter much.
Magic Find actually isn’t useless. After each LS instance you do the first time, you get a set of loot bags as part of your reward. For example, the “Mordrem Seed Pouches” from several of the instances that have to do with fighting Mordrem. Similar to PvP loot bags from the reward tracks, Magic Find does affect what you get when you open those. Essentially, each bag is the equivalent of killing five or ten Mordrem (only a dev could tell us the exact number), when you open the bag rolls are made on the Mordrem loot tables using your current Magic Find stats and random treasure is dispensed.
This has led to complaints in other threads. “Why does my Summit Hero’s Reward contain globby goop?” But as inelegant as getting junk items as rewards might be sometimes, it’s a way to make Magic Find still relevant despite them not wanting the individual enemies to drop items.
While you don’t get those loot bags again when you replay the instance, each of the achievement reward bags contains a similar random/Magic Find affected component beyond the guaranteed Geodes or Ambrite or whatever. And, of course, you can replay the missions with other characters to get the normal loot bags on completion again.
Cool. I was always under the impression that the only loot bags affected by MF were the pvp ones. I’d like to see a link to where it says that about the reward bags for the LS. That notwithstanding, it’s not repeatable, and again, what’s the point of permanent content if I have zero incentive to run it again(i.e. loot)? The multiple character thing is finite. The content should be like zone play. I can go into the instance with my friends and play it and get rewarded for doing so exactly like a dungeon as many times as I want. That’s the disconnect for me with this stuff.
Rox doesn’t have an official new warband. She may be acting independently, but she’s still a gladium, and Delaqua Investigations (if I can group the major NPCs of this season under that title, I prefer it to the nicknames given so far) is only an ersatz warband. Plus, when it is deeply ingrained that you grew up in a military culture, it’s hard to break certain instincts like saluting Smodur at his arrival.
I know that loot drops in the personal story instances, but those aren’t replayable. The fact that the instances are replayable might be why they decided not to make drops in instances, and perhaps to discourage people from farming in the instances. I feel that loot shouldn’t drop from the bosses in the chapters, but perhaps they will reconsider giving drops from the non-champion mobs that spawn.
I’m pretty sure Evennia’s dead. Livia is the only “mortal” who could possibly have lived for the 250 year span. Revealing the lore is done at the pace they feel ready and in the method they choose, so while we might want more, we have to respect their storytelling choices, at least in this respect. I do feel the crown, while it being fractured felt manufactured, added a bit, as it revealed that the sword(s) alone are not enough to fix the ghosts, but the exact ritual was clearly off. Either it lacked the wielder having the proper blood, or perhaps the sword that ignited the Foefire is the one that needs to extinguish it. Perhaps even both.
The stuff I was saying about Rox comes from her reactions to seeing the Charr in command. They don’t react like she was and it’s obvious from Rytlock’s reaction to her that he has moved on. The sole thing that would make the instances replayable is farming them sans maybe doing them once a year to see something you missed. That was only one point. More people were asking for permanent content because they wanted replayable content. With the lack of new maps and expansion-like content there is a lack of new replayable content in this game. I really like the new content. The only problem is that there is no incentive for me to go back and do it again. So, awesome for new content! Bummer for only being able to do it once.
The unfinished stuff I was eluding to was more to point out that we get stories that go unfinished. I am sure Evennia’s dead. That is not the point. The point is that story thread never got finished. The scepter of Orr’s story never got finished. Livia’s story never got finished. It’s a pattern that continues with Rytlock and how he acquired his sword. Here we have a really interesting piece of lore attached to a fetch quest and one of the payoffs could be a long awaited for lore nugget. Instead of a payoff, the player is rewarded with a curt answer after a favor is done for the NPC. Normally, I would say that the payoff is coming later, but the track record of that in this franchise says otherwise.
(edited by Iason Evan.3806)
I was going to save the last two parts of this first half of the season up until it was all finished. I was gonna “binge” play it like a TV season DVR’d. I decided I wanted to go through it instead. I enjoyed it.
The Good
The boss fights. You all did a great job with the statue fight and the dragon fight in The Grove. I loved it. I did the Dragon fight with my Ranger using a sword. The sword still needs fixing guys(but that’s a thread for a different time). The pacing was great. I loved the procession in The Grove. It felt important. The rewards at the end were nice.
I really enjoyed the interactions between all of the NPCs and the dialog. At what point does Rox drop the Legion Shtick though when everyone else around her already knows she has a new warband including Rytlock?
The Bad
No items dropping in the instanced portions period. Isn’t this where the replayability comes in? The content is permanent. Great! Is the content replayable without drops? That’s up for debate, but I don’t see a strong argument for it being very replayable sans loot.
Magic Find is 100% useless. All the rewards are in the form of items that MF has zero impact on. I don’t think I need to explain why this would be frustrating to a player. With it being playable one time though because there is no loot for magic find to affefct, I guess it doesn’t matter much.
Some of the arguments from the leaders felt a tad off to me though. Phlunt saw first hand how important it was that Mordremoth be stopped and yet he was still reluctant. After what happened with The Pale Tree at the end I will be disappointed if there is any hesitation on the parts of the leaders again. At what point do the adults make Taimi stay away from anything important after she has messed up twice? Liability much?
Having to go fetch all the stuff for Rytlock felt very slapped together. Go here. Go there. I feel like even when strapped for time, something better could have been done for that and it was with little payoff. I wouldn’t have minded so much if Rytlock had told us how he got his sword. I would forgive “The Boss” having to go run simple errands for Rytlock had this been the case. There was a real opportunity to delve into the lore in a meaningful way and instead the experience was I’m not telling you how it happened even though you jsut did this super important thing for me. Gee thanks, Rytlock. Remind me to forget you on my Wintersday greeting card mailer, bro.
I think the Rytlock part sums up most of the problem I have with the lore in the GW franchise. You have these things that we have all wanted to know about for a long time and nothing ever comes to fruition on it. What happened to Evennia? Livia? Rytlock’s FDS? The Wizard’s Tower? All of the most interesting lore remains totally invisible and it’s a real shame.
Enough with the criticism though.
Thanks so much for the awesome season so far. It’s the most interested I have been in the story and my curiosity is piqued for what will happen next. You all did a great job!
re: GW1 gemstore.. stay on topic please guys.. GW2 Trading Post
Now if we can add a favorite items list for our regular purchases, then the TP would be much more functional.
You might notice on the trading post home screenshot a section called ‘recently viewed’. This in combination with the reworked my transactions list should make regular item repeats much much more accessible.
Thanks so much for coming on here and honestly answering questions Curtis. I totally appreciate it!
Is the jacket from the personal story? I looked for “Krytan Jerkin” like it said in your post and nothing popped up.
Krytan is a medium gem store armor skin. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Krytan_Medium_Armor_Skin
Very nice find OP. Don’t think I’ve seen anyone else using it either. (It will be the new Meta soon) ^^
nice! great work OP. It looks great.
Is the jacket from the personal story? I looked for “Krytan Jerkin” like it said in your post and nothing popped up.
The “stickiness” of the sword auto attack is still a thing. A major thing. I finally decided to finish the LS2. I was going to wait and do all of it when it the whole season was finished to see all of it at once but decided not to. At the last fight, the sword is a real issue with just how much AoE there is in that fight. Go try it with a Ranger using a sword. It’s infuriating. The weapon you decide to use should not be a detrimental to the game play.
Are there any plans in place to fix this weapon? The weapon literally has the ability to not let you use skills that you need to use. I want to use my heal when I want to use it not when the sword decides to let me.
True that! I said thanks before in a another thread, but thanks again! This is such a cool addition.
oh come on, we JUST had a big feature patch a few months ago that changed a lot in the game, the fact were getting another one this soon was a complete surprise. and the fact that it’s small UI and quality of life improvements is no big deal. honestly I wasn’t expecting anything till maybe the end of season 2 and even then I wasn’t expecting anything big. my time line was every 6 months we get one, a big one then a smaller one like this. no one really has the right to complain about free content in a free to play game. I mean they give us a new toyota but people complain it’ s not a ferrari.
Except those of us that spend money on gems? Is it free to play then? People have a right to voice their concerns and hopefully it’s in a respectful manner. The devs also have a right to ignore whoever they want or those voices they find rude. But to say we can’t complain is not correct.
I wonder if external sites, such as GW2Spidy, will be able to interface with the new TP.
I like your skills of a Magnum P.I. This is a great question. Anyone at ArenaNet know the answer?
They will always be stacks of 250. Google why this happens. It’s interesting stuff.
So stoked for armor filters! Thanks ArenaNet! This is a fantastic change. I really like that you did away with tabs so we don’t lose our filtering selections anymore. It looks wonderful. The interface looks super clean and everything about seems to be easier to understand.
