by level 80 should have the best statistical loot in the game.
We want everyone on an equal power base.”
They made a comment about this a while ago… if only the search function worked. apparently they believe ascended still fits into their grand scheme of no gear treadmill because they had intended to eventually add ascended when they launched, but just didn’t tell anyone about it. I wonder how many other tiers they will add, saying that it was intended to have tier 7, 8, 9, 10, etc. from the start…
ROFL … well said, and bravo
The bottom line is, that GW2 was marketed for years as a game that would not have a heavy gear grind, no must-have classes for dungeons (trinity) and no stat-based vertical progression. It matters NOT the degree in which these elements were explicitly stated or implied. Because through forum posts, feedback and pre-release write-ups – the game company fully understood that the overwhelming majority of people believed those things.
Of course pre-release there were a great many false assumptions made about the game; but quite often whenever a false assumption became widespread, Anet would release a statement that cleared things up. Among the many pre-release “assumptions” made, and repeated endlessly for months on end and in every possible venue imaginable, was that GW2 would have a power/gear plateau once you achieved lvl 80 and a full set of exotics.
As a result, thousands of MMO fans were buzzing loudly about finally finding a full 100% horizontal-progression game for every mode of gameplay: PvE, WvW and PvP. And this was clearly understood as being a fact by the vast majority of people. Interestingly, insofar as the 100% horizontal-progression assumption went, at NO time did Anet feel they needed to “clear things up” with a statement advising folks about another tier of gear and their intention to have vertical progression in GW2. Instead, the horizontal progression “myth”, despite being the single most pervasive myth/assumption about Gw2, that one did not need clearing up until AFTER the game was released and the initial burst of early sales had subsided. Funny that …
Arkard, still fighting windmills eh … personally, given the nearly 7 months that have passed, I will be very surprised if they EVER release ascended Carrion and Valkyrie.
But I hope I’m wrong.
Hey guys, question:
If you have stability from Rampage as One, will Shared Anguish trigger from a persons attempt to fire a disabling attack (stun, fear, knockdown …) at you ? (hopefully the answer is NO – ).
Thanks in advance.

I used to play an MMO which also provided weekly/monthly content.
It also had lots of specialized even-specific consumables and tickets etc.
However, after the patch came that removed all of the event, they also removed all the items from your inventory – never to be seen again.
The item was dubbed ‘Temporary’ on the tooltip so you knew to use it before the end of the event.
GW2 should do this so that people who participate in events aren’t punished and there’s no confusion about when it’s okay to sell items. (Some people don’t read patch notes!)
Good idea +1
Engi is fun due to the endless options!
In my situation I love dailies. I work 8-5 all week so when I get home I want to game a little, dailies give me just the right amount of stuff to do to earn something and still have fun. I can’t be on long on the weekdays anyways and its perfect for me. No one is forcing anyone to do a daily, it is completely optional. I have missed plenty of dailies and it doesn’t bother me. If you are at a point where the dailies feel like a job or you feel forced to do the dailies then you sir are addicted and need professional help.
I love dailies too, and for many of the same reasons you do.
On the other hand, there is absolutely nothing wrong with adding a weekly “catch-up” as well. Having this option would in no way whatsoever affect the folks that do their dailies (unless they feel that people should not have more options nor be able to “catch up” because they like folks not be able to get laurels due to having real lives – lol).
A weekly option would be great. It deprives no one of anything, and allows folks to keep up with the vertical progression that was added to this game.

For many of us endgame is enjoying the game in the manner which we like. Whether that be fighting in WvW, doing PVP, roleplaying with guildies, dungeon crawling for new skins, grinding mats for a legendary, doing some DEs, leveling an alt, taking part in the living story, trying out new builds ….. ect, and on and on.
For others endgame is: Racing to cap level as fast as possible, figuring out which dungeon is the easiest and repeating that dungeon a hundred times till you have enough gold to buy 10 legendries’, raiding high level dungeons for gear that has better stats than what the majority of the player base has, going to WvW with some friends to gank people 4 on 1, fighting lots of 1v1s and losing despite claims to being “pro” players, screaming on the forums for Anet to add even more stat based gear so that their stat advantage can become larger and larger to help mask their lack of skill. And last but not least, starting a dungeon run with 3 guildies and then kicking some poor slob that is not one their buddies from their 5 man group right before the reward chest – then laughing their 16 year old butts off about it.
So as you can see, End-game can differ quite a bit from person to person
I think the Forum Warrior is the most fun class.
Think about it, as far as DPS goes, few classes can rival the sheer damage that can be done like the Forum Warrior – with his endless stream of self-important posts on thread after thread, the damage over time is quite impressive.
And from a role-playing perspective, no other class can pull it off as well as the Forum Warrior. He can pretend to have inside information as to what the game developers think and intend for the game. Heck, he can even pretend to be “defending” something or someone, while in truth he is only feeding his narcissistic self-absorption . So when it comes to pretending, or better stated, being pretentious, it’s hard to rival the dedicated Forum Warrior.
And last but not least, by his consistent spam-posting on every thread imaginable he can even assume the position of Un-Official forum moderator. Wagging his finger and tsk-tsking those that disagree with him, while taking every opportunity to maintain his achievement point lead in boot-licking and butt-kissing.
So my vote is for the Forum Warrior; because while not an easy class to play, it can be quite rewarding once mastered since you get to reverse-troll endlessly without facing the repercussions of traditional trolls.

Before the laurels were added to the rewards of completing a daily; a daily was an afterthought or an added bonus when it popped up. (Unless of course you were farming the karma).
At this time the reward of a laurel is essential for some to complete their goal. I see no issue if Anet would allow players that miss days during the week, an option to catch back up with some sort of weekly check list.
Each day of the week and their rewards are in the UI for the user to attempt to complete. If they miss only one day then they can focus on it. If they miss more then… you get the picture.
I am quite sure we will have plenty of daily chores to complete once crafting for ascended is implemented. That can easily act as incentive for high level players to log as often as possible.
I cannot agree more.
Well said.
Perhaps you should add what you said to the Suggestion forum?
I’m a hyper-competitive female player, so my overwhelming focus is on skill and theory-crafting. That said, of my 4 toons the two ladies (Ele and Engi) are dressed as sexy as possible. Because when I pawn someone in WvW during a 1v1, I need to look good doing it – and if I get pawned, I want to die with as much sex appeal as possible – lol.
(edited by Ision.3207)
Ok so this is something that I’ve been running through my mind a lot recently, as i’m coming to the end what is see as the game, I’ve got almost all my max gear for PvE and working towards my legendary.
But I’m sat here thinking well what is the point?
Sure it may look cosmetically nice but what is the actual benefit of having the best possible gear which is Ascended Gear at the moment?
Well i struggle to find any, there is no dueling system to fight other players with your PvE gear, once Ascended gear fully comes out (Armor ect) Anet stated that they won’t be bringing out better armor.
So basically you’re going to sit there and do nothing on your character with the armor, you will have presumably completed all the dungeons, got your desired end game weapons and have nothing to do with it. I personally feel this seems like a pitiful reward for working so hard towards getting the PvE gear, and while i don’t appreciate a lot of aspects of WoW it does give players the opportunity to actually put the people with the best PvE gear to good use.
I do agree with you that this game could very much use a dueling system. The Arena in the Charr zone seems built to order for this, people can challenge each other inside of that arena, and there and there alone, fight their 1v1s (and perhaps an arena in each starter city as well). This would please the folks that want their duels, while also keeping the dueling out of peoples faces in the open world.
However, when it comes to having ascended gear so we can put it to “good use” – I cannot disagree with you more.
Assuming a close fight where it comes down to the very last few hits, I feel somewhat cheated out of my victory by having some artificial stat advantage over my opponents. It’s one of the reasons I so despise Vertical progression of any type. Because in essence, it does nothing more than overpower highly skilled players, and serves to mask a lack of ability in players of lesser skills.
And even in PvE content, I despise vertical progression as well. Once again, assuming a difficult dungeon is released, and me and my group finally figure it out and beat it; to reward me for beating it by making it easier to beat the next time with higher stat armor is ridiculous. This does nothing more than to steadily trivialize the encounter with each stat-based reward my guild-mates and I gain. Because for players that value skill and competiveness, lessening the challenge is NOT a reward, it’s a punishment. And of course the gear treadmill will also begin to further trivialize the PvE content in every single PvE area of the game, from lower scaled zones, to DEs to whatever.

The new Hunter’s Shot rework is one of the best buffs Anet has given Rangers in some time.
The number of situations and encounters in which the new mechanic is useful are endless (and yes, that includes PvE, but less so than other venues). In the hands of a skilled player, the new stealth mechanic is a most welcome addition to anyone that enjoys longbow play.
(edited by Ision.3207)
Are you all from NA? Because i’m from EU and i’d never been kicked from a group with my ranger…
Take these claims about Rangers being kicked with a grain of salt.
I would wager that most of these claims are gross exaggerations by very poor Ranger players that were kicked for OTHER reasons than the class they picked. And then there are those that simply out right lie on the forums, believing somehow that Anet will read this and “buff” their class – lol. But yes, there is that teeny-tiny percentage of guys that had the misfortune of pugging with some uber-leet teenagers from WoW and got kicked for being Rangers.
Overall though, don’t buy the hype/whine, because for the most part it’s total bull-crap.
(edited by Ision.3207)
With one, and ONLY one exception, there is absolutely nothing about the Ranger class that makes it a poor class compared to others. They are rock solid in sPvP, among the very best in over-world PvE, and hold their own quite well in WvW. Naturally there are adjustments that need to be made, skills that need refinement and so forth — but this is true of every class in the game.
As to that one and ONLY exception, that’s obviously PvE dungeon grouping. But if/when Anet were to add a simple “dungeons ONLY pets take 50% less aoe damage” (or some other simple alternative like this) … then this too will become a non-issue.
(edited by Ision.3207)
On a serious note guys, I have a feeling the original poster is a young teenager and means well. I say this because I have read his posts on the Ranger forums, and they are similar in that “far too serious about a cartoon-game” style that young kids have. I’m also pretty sure he adores WvW, but has yet to learn to have a thick skin about dying when ganked by thieves or run over by large zergs.
Give him a break.
(edited by Ision.3207)
and the troll post of the year goes to…..
anyways, i reported this, trolls will not be tolerated on this forum, get serious and discuss serious topics at hand or keep your unfounded and misleading threads to yourself.
LOL
Well. let’s not call him a troll, because he’s not .. he really believes it ! :-)
Okay, maybe he is … lol … but he’s obviously just an amateur troll, and can be redeemed. Because master Trolls have a far different style, and are irredeemable.
So, let’s wait and see if he begins to post in dozens and dozens of different threads, speaking with the voice of authority of someone with “inside information” as to what the devs intended or think. Add a sprinkle of the finger-wagging schoolmarm reminding folks about the rules, and a dash of the quick reach for the report option … and then, then you’ll have a real troll on your hands!
Elementalist not only Reigns in Excellent Mobility, Defence(Bunkder) and D/D, they Reign in Devestating Aoe’s; Meteor Shower. This Out of Control skill has been a long suffering burnden; especially in wvw.
Not forgetting, Elementalist has the Highest Blast Finisher In all classes combine.
No one can deny this especially when there’s a group attempting to overtake a keep, than suddenly Meteor Shower is cast, than all Chaotic Damage Control Ignitiates.
I’m talking about 13k+ 20k Damage by one cast by 1 Elementist.; No other class Aoe can excell in 1 single Aoe other than the Elelementalist.
I know that Arena net had mentioned in the past of adjusting Aoe damage, but Unfortunately they scrapped that idea.
I’m sure Elementa;ost Outrageous Aoe was the main focus behind it.
Well I Encourage Arena net to reopen their case and to take this matter more seriously in addresing this at the fullest Antention.
(one note) ; Is Elementalist the next One Man Army?
I Rest My Case
Aahahahahaha …
I love reading Burnfall’s posts … he has that apocalyptic end-of-the-world style that’s just so dang funny given he’s talking about a cartoon video game!
Burn baby, keep it going man — Give em hell !
“I Rest My Case” ………………………… LOL, ya gotta love it !

Oh look. Near-sighted thieves are responding to the thread. They don’t even realize that the insane stealth mechanic is actually keeping them back from being effective in certain areas.
Nice try, but I think most thieves are quite happy with their effectiveness, especially if it irritates people like you.
ahahahahahaha
Bravo !
btw, the absolute best counter to a thief is: a well played Ranger —--
I believe the OP mains a Ranger (as do I), but I could be wrong.

To be honest, I haven’t been excited about the future of the game by a blog post since November of last year, but I am with this one.
You really don’t have to read between the lines to see the focus on meaningful character progression of a horizontal kind. That alone is huge. I was so happy to see progression described through skill acquisition and progression and not meaningless stat inflation.
And, I remember last year when we had a lot of heated discussions on magic find on gear. I remember them stepping in at one point and noting that there was a problem. Now, we see them taking the best possible alternative of removing it from gear and putting it on the character sheet.
From my perspective, this may be a milestone more significant in their history than 11/15. I have no problem with companies making mistakes as long as the experience is put to good use. I’m quite pleased with the current game vision.
Raine, I very much agree.
As I have said before, everything and anything that makes the Ascended gear mistake that Anet made more meaningless is quite welcome by me.
However, (there’s always a “however” lol) … the real bottom line to whether they have decided to return to their roots as a skill-based horizontal progression game, as opposed to grind-based stat driven vertical progression game, will be when we finally see an expansion and the level cap is raised. This will be the real “moment of truth” so to speak. This is when we will truly find out if the slow down in introducing VP was merely a temporary damage control tactic (simply waiting out the HP folks through a process of attrition), or if they really mean it.

So essentially with 8 alts I’m thrown out of high level content like fractals? What was wrong with exotic gear? Now in order to get the new tier we will have to spend an insane amount of money on T6 materials to level up crafting, not to mention all of our old gear suddenly now becomes moot? When I signed up for GW2 I did not sign up for harsh step of gear progression. Either make this gear tier acquirable by various means (karma, loot, fractals, dungeons, crafting) even with increased prices (let’s say it’s 100K karma per piece instead of 42K and 500 tickets per piece, instead of 180 in dungeons) unless you make it easy to get it should not be in the game.
Agreed … great post.
Your Karma for Ascended gear idea would be great.
Well I don’t know what class you’re talking about yet, but I do know which class it can’t be, and that would be the Ranger.

(edited by Ision.3207)
Stat based vertical progression is the topic at hand. It is this regard, and only this regard, where VP has a negative effect on gameplay. All of the other forms of VP people have mentioned do not create a combat power disparity between players. And NO, the long (too long) 1-80 leveling (aka: learn your class) process you have to go through before reaching the exotic weapon/armor power plateau (that was meant to be final), that in itself is not the introduction of stat-based vertical progression – because that process has (or was supposed to have) a definite and easily achievable end point.
Look it’s this simple, some people, perhaps a small percentage of gamers – I don’t know —- but some players would like to play a 100% skill-based horizontal progression mmo. One that once you reach max level and attain max gear through your learning process (leveling) then leaves you with a 100% equal footing (stat wise) with others that have done the same. And these players would like this for every aspect of the game (PvE, WvW, PvP …). And this, precisely this, was what GW2 was marketed as for years.
So please, PLEASE allow me this one small corner of the MMO market for my gaming style. And in exchange, I promise, I will never-ever whine and throw temper tantrums in the WoW or Lotro forums for them to re-invent their games to suit my play style, and at the expense of the people that play those games precisely because they have stat-based vertical progression.

Raine, perhaps it would not be that hard to unravel.
As you stated, as far as the ascended crap goes, yes it would merely stop at the trinkets. But the Laurel system itself is actually a pretty good idea. And there are an endless number of directions they could take with it. For example: X number of laurels equals 1 rare dye of your choice … X number of laurels equals 1 skin of 1 dungeon armor/weapon skin of your choice … X number of laurels (a really high number) equals 1 precursor of your choice … and on and on.
In my opinion the game returning to its roots, and simply being what it was marketed as being for years, would not lose any significant portion of players whatsoever. What’s more, I would venture that the overwhelming majority of that small segment of the community that whines the most about wanting vertical progression and a trinity/healer system are quite young and often living on daddies credit card. So I sincerely doubt that their return to WoW or Lotro would have much of a financial impact on Anet.

1v1 to the death:
Mesmer
Engineer
Necro
Thief *
Elementalist*
Ranger
Guardian
Warrior
Some of these are SOooooo close, that ranking them is really an injustice … in fact, one could easily move up or down some of these by 1 or 2 spots. But in the spirit of not being half-azzed, I ranked them anyway. ;-)
*(do not confuse the ability to escape being killed, with the ability to kill your opponent if you choose not to escape in a close fight)
(edited by Ision.3207)
I asked: as a warrior what runes or orbs would you run in knight’s armor? And no one could say anything except DITCH KNIGHT’S DITCH KNIGHT’S FULL ZERK FULL ZERK FULL ZERK
I asked them what their reasons were for never running anything but zerk, and it EVENTUALLY came out that you didn’t need any mitigation because a guardian or d/d elementalist can keep you alive
I asked, what if you don’t have these in your party? What if you’re in a PUG and you want some mitigation with knight’s armor?
The general consensus was “join a better guild.” C’mon. I didn’t want to be told to “just use zerk,” I wanted some advice on what to slot into my knight’s armor!
The reason I run full Zerk gear in PvE the overwhelming majority of the time is because once I became competent with the games dodge mechanic, all other gear/builds for my Warrior are sub-optimal.
That said, there are tons, TONS of non-zerk builds for you to choose from and they are very, VERY easy to find on the Warrior forums. Something you should remember though, is that when you ask for advice, try not to throw a temper tantrum when the advice you get is not what you wanted. Instead, consider doing some of your OWN research to find the answer/options you prefer.

Raine, I agree with your post 100%.
Which is why I am very-very glad ANET added the AP system. Given that they have already gone down the vertical progression path with the garbage Ascended gear they added last November, any and every addition to this game that minimizes the damage already don, is welcome by me. By adding the AP system, people now have other methods of obtaining laurels to get the ascended trinkets.
Yes, and I have said elsewhere that I am very happy with the AP system introduced and feel it is a major step in the right direction in terms of reward in the game. My motivation is not to complain about AP or Anet for that matter; I simply wanted to correct the misconception that VP is in any way optional for those wishing to play the game long-term.
Agreed.

To be honest, everything points towards Anet having learned its lesson in trying to please the WoW teenagers with stat-progression gear, and a return to their roots as the skilled-based horizontal progression game GW2 was marketed as for years.

Whoa there folks, slow down a sec …
Yes, there are lots of jerks in WvW (i don’t like the word “elitist”, because it assumes good player skills, and 99% of jerks are FAR from being skilled players, most are not even average). And yes, these teenagers and immature “adults” are often less than welcoming while tending to bark orders and blame everyone and anyone for a failure (other than themselves of course).
But let’s not get crazy and talk as if this is the NORM in WvW … because it is NOT. True, the jerk factor in WvW is somewhat higher than the jerk factor in PvE; because the very nature of WvW does tend to attract the dedicated griefer and/or egomaniac types. But these guys are certainly not limited to WvW or PvP. Trust me, I’ve run into a good big bunch of these kittens in PvE too, especially in dungeon runs.
Look guys, kids will be kids (and immature adults will be immature adults), but I’ve been at this game since launch, and these goofs are not the WvW majority, they are simply the fail minority; albeit, a loud and irritating one.

You have quite a few important and interesting characters in GW2 that you can slowly develop to help change the world. Characters need to be important and memorable. They need to feel emotion. Make us fall in love with them and kill them. Make us hate them for burning a major city.
Please try to step away from the monthly Scooby-Doo villain design.
exactly, these short snippets of temp updates are so childish in design. The story aren’t compelling at all, and they hope to attract people affection for them. People do it, because it will be gone in 2 weeks. it does not translate into being fun.
Speak for yourself, cause I (and many others) like the temp updates.
Speaking for yourself, goes for you too. lol

Please don’t go away so quick …. hey, can we have a new sever, because we need another one.
name it, “Isle of the Un-Ascended” …. and then transfer all the Carrion and Valkyrie gear players there.
If there were no WvW …
Elementalists would turn in their dual daggers to the Thief players.
Thief players would use the Ele daggers to commit suicide.
COF1 zerk Warriors would rejoice at the death of the Thieves that pawned them in WvW.
Guardians would smile and say, we are still as useful as we always were.
… and Ranger players would … well, they would still be just Rangers, so what difference does it make.

According to every subforum their particular profession is the worst off in the game :/
Except Guardian.
On the Guardian forums I constantly see Guard players saying something along the lines of, “On the whole, Guardian is a very stable profession. I’d like ANet to fix X, Y and maybe tweak Z, but we’re very balanced at the moment.”
Give me time, because I have not rolled a Guardian yet. Once I do, I can assure you I will dedicate myself to flooding the Guardian forums with QQ, conspiracy theories and ridiculously over-powered suggestions for skill changes.
After all, it’s essential that we keep the proper class balance, not just in-game, but on these forums as well. ;-)
Now they added yet another new stat combo, Celestial…
Please just give us carrion and valykrie ascended jewelry. It can’t be that difficult to implement. Here are some name suggestions, if you are struggling with that ^^Carrion:
Amuletts: Collar of Varesh, Jellyfish Pendant, Dryder Tooth Necklace
Accessoires: Mia’s Earring, Neersi’s Wine
Rings: Margonites Ring, Spiritwood CircleValkyrie:
Amuletts: Duncan’s Chain, Justiciar Emblem, Evennia’s Amulett
Accessoires: Urn of Saint Viktor, Moletariat Pamphlet
Rings: Morgahn’s Loyality, Deldrimor Ironband
Make it easier on them …
Carrion: Amulet of the Fail player. (rings and accessories too). Emblems for all 5 pieces – white background and the word “Fail” in dark black.
Valkyrie: Amulet of the Noob player. (rings and accessories too). Emblems for all 5 pieces – white background and the word “Noob” in dark black.
Trust me, after waiting over half a year, if they actually released the Ascended Carrion/FAIL and Valkyrie NOOB trinkets in the above manner …. we the UN-ascended would still be grateful and not a word of protest would be heard on the forums.

As far as pure PVE efficiency goes, Proxy is unarguably right about Zerk gear > all else. Simply put, once you have mastered the dodge mechanic and are at least “good” with it, the all Zerk gear is the best possible option for the overwhelming majority of PvE content.
However, (there’s always a “however” lol) … however, it has been my experience in both WvW and PvP that no one is as terribly bad a player in those venues, as the dedicated PvE “zerk” player. On average they have far less knowledge of their full catalogue of weapon sets than others, less knowledge of their skills and utilities and a very one-dimensional approach that makes them easy kills and a burden to your group.
Of course I am speaking in generalities, and there are many PvE zerkers that transition flawlessly to WvW and PvP. But exceptions they are, because the majority of the COF1 speedrun teenagers are incredibly lame players when facing actual human beings.
(edited by Ision.3207)
Devs implementing player ideas can lead to bad things… for example: ascended gear.
Great post – bravo !
I would last about 10 seconds as a dev posting on these forums …. roflmao
Let’s see, right after the dev post comes the following:
The basement dweller that believes that the recent patch nerf to his class is a conspiracy aimed directly at him by Anet. The screaming teenager from World of Warcraft that plays 24-7 and may commit suicide if they don’t add a 10 man raid with better stat gear rewards. The WvW noob that just got ganked while picking daisies in the Eternal Battlegrounds and now demands a total rework of WvW. And last, but not least, the boot-lick fanboy that speaks with the voice of authority as if he had “inside information” as to what the devs intended or think, while also constantly spamming the report option on others since he’s a self-appointed forum moderator.
Heck, no …. in fact, to be honest, I’m stunned they bother to post as much as they currently do!

There is a player on Tarnished Coast that trades goods almost every single day in LA map chat … over many months this player has developed a rock solid reputation as a straight shooter and honest trader. Although I have never traded with this person, some of my guildies have, and they have nothing negative to say. And some of these transactions were for hundreds of gold in exchange for unique weapons.
Basically, if you are going to “barter” with someone 1 on 1, then you need to deal with people like the one I just described. Otherwise you have no one to blame but yourself if you get scammed.
I’m pretty sure the OP did NOT do his homework before dealing with whoever took his gold and ripped him off. Oh well, ZERO sympathy from me. None. In fact, it may have been a good object lesson for the OP, not only for this game, but for life in general.

A Super class that achieved Unprecedented levels of Grandiosity and Power
A Super class who is rapidly exceeding than other class in wvw and spvp.
A Super class who controls the battlefield more than any other class.
A Super class who sets the Rules at any given time without limitations.
A Super class who can effectively dictate the piratical means and details for all important game play at their control.
A Super class who decides the life-and-death in WvW and Spvp
A Super class who has little or no interest or regard for the “lesser fortunate” classes.
The Super class believes in a Perfect and Fair system that rewards them unconditionally.
The Super class is enhanced and benefited by close collaboration of a company who exceed in top powerful positions.
The Super class denies equal fairness and just treatments by “the lesser” classes.
The Super class think they are Invincible having close to god-like powers.
The Super class deny apathy, team-work and collaboration among average classes.
The Super class fears Fair competition because of loss of control.
The Super class ideology is to be the Ruler of the classes and will use whatever means; if by force, exploits, power, using powerful-tools at given disposal to ensure their optimal position of power.
Aahahahahahahahaha ………………..

Caveat emptor
It’s near impossible for Anet to know he “scammed” you, and NO, your word is not good enough. So stop crying, and learn from your mistakes.
Okay guys, get ready for the uber-leet WoW teenagers to jump on ya. Because they “worked” for their ascended gear (lol). And although every single one of them claim they could care less about stat advantages over other players, every single one of them throw a tantrum if their gear does not have stat advantages over other players.
But yes, I agree. If we are in fact stuck with the ascended-gear vertical progression garbage dump, then everything and anything that makes it more meaningless would be welcome.
Fortunately the rumor is that Anet is moving away from the failed vertical progression experiment, and returning to the skill-based horizontal progression model they marketed the game as for years. I’ve also heard that there is a massive number of beautiful new armor and weapon skins being designed by Anet, with a myriad of paths to attain them (laurels, dungeons, gem store, karma, crafting ect…).

Tarnished Coast for me.
Although I never role-play, I have found that RP servers have large populations and tend to have fewer uber-leet kitten teenagers.
I think a violin would be a great idea!
But its use should be restricted only to zones where it truly fits in — in other words, these forums.
Yes the forums only violin, with an auto toggle feature where whenever someone starts to QQ the music kicks in. Obviously the Ranger forums will need a mute option, because violin music 24-7 is a bit too much.

Where’s Loki?
He usually shows up to the weekly gathering of the un-ascended?
Hi Arkard !!!
I see you’re still at it!
ahahahahahahahaha
All our other UN-ascended friends should be here soon.
This is total BS … this is it, the devs and Anet have screwed us over yet again … I’m quitting this game and going back to WoW …. this is the last straw … and what about the Ranger shortbow and Warriors in PvP, and what about this and that …
It’s a conspiracy I tell you !
hehe …
;-)
Careful, last time I was too sarcastic I got banned for 2 weeks.
huh?
I love the new blogpost, I was just firing a pre-emptive salvo at the folks that are never happy unless they can drop at least a little poison on everything.
