About stances…
Defiant stance: Need be instant cast like all others stances.
Berserk Stance: Need have the adrenaline gain fact removed.
Balance Stance: Need be e true stance, granting not boons( stability and swiftness), but granting irremovable cc immunity.
Endure Pain: It s ok.
Frenzy: It s ok.
This trait could be fair as minor master tier replacing Critical Burst. The effect could be increased to 25%, affects all weapon/bundle skills, and the name changed to just “Agility” or “Something Agility”.
Critical burst could be send to major grandmaster tier with changed effect, now this trait could increase critical damage with burst skills in 100%
warrior can run perma 25 might stacks.
with those new traits he can share all 25 mights to party members.For a gargantuan DPS cost. An Ele can stack this and still do higher DPS than even a Meta Warrior build.
No boss fight should last long enough where Might from an LH Ele doesn’t maintain until the boss dies. And if it does, your group doesn’t care about efficiency so you may aswell run dual axe shout heals.
Try sword/horn and long bow with battle sigils, strength runes and berserker amulet. Put 20 defense (cleansing ire and ?), 30 tactics (quick breathing, phalanx strength and ?) and 20 discipline (signet mastery and ???, may be destruction of empowered)
Use stomp for get control, stun break, stability and blast finish in one single slot, and of course signet of rage
You will provide high support with horn and might without to loose dps. After you get 25 might stacks your power and condition damage will up increasing the dps via power and conditions.

It doesn’t need to be infinite. 120s duration and 60s cooldown after they die would be enough. As Cheese said, while they are up the elite skill turns into a special skill.
And there is nothing wrong with the elemental elite be like Flash Golem. Engineers have the Ele/Warrior/Necro elite skill.

Elementals AI could be improved to cast highest ranked (or most powerful) skill whenever these skills become up.
I personally don’t like those stat combination, it’s benefits more one class or build than others. Now these differences will become larger (
One of things that attracted me to this game was freedom to build my character as i want. Now the game will walk to one simplicity that one day may be infant.
I d think that Anet could improve the match system instead drop down the build diversity.

Could be better if auras be improved, working without internal CD between hits. Some effects could be changed, Fire Aura for example is useless because Chaos Armor already inflicts burn and grants might, not talking about others boons and conditions. Frost Armor also could be improved (again because Chaos Armor)
I d think that Frost Armor could only heals when attacked (scaling with heal power), and Fire Armor could only deals direct damage when attacked (scaling with power).
Ground targeting is better.
Start by saying that I dont like to complain just because I cannot do something. For example, I hate the mesmer and their clones but I never “asked” a nerf because the clones make me mad and sometimes I can not even do nothing that are already dead.
This past weekend I met a DD ele and we started to move in two for the map. Yesterday there were three : I ( DD thief ) , DD ele and another friend with a thief who has to learn to play.
Meet a Warrior near anza with hammer and sword.
In three we failed to kill him. An incredible CC and he could do a combo of stun + multiple hits with the sword that he removed the 80/90 % of my life. I quickly changed tactics trying to inflict blindness and dodge the attacks to avoid the stun . As soon as his life came to 20 % he used the skill of invulnerability and entered the tower.
We decided, after a couple of attempts to attack the camp, to forcing him to leave the tower. Reaches us , he engaged us when and when he reached 20% of live again invulnerability skills and runned in the middle of the camp preventing us from fact to kill him and take over the camp.
We fought a bit and then we moved towards Mendon to kill the dolyak and to force him to come out. Same story . I changed tactics, from the blind to the elite skill to stun but nothing.
I do not consider myself a PRO player but I believe that in nine months of play as a thief i learned something. The other DD ele seems like a good player, my other friend had to learn the thief mechanics.
I found the same warrior when he was fighting another couple of players and seemed to suffer the necromancer. Ok maybe he is weak against condiction but it seems a bit OP to keep up three players and not only not getting killed, but having high probability of killing all three.
Not to mention the incredible speed that the warrior has. I do not think it is correct that there is a class with high damage, high armor and good evasion.
Surely it was a much better player than me and I enjoyed to fight him and try to improve my dodge but I think warrior hammer need a review …

Something is either wrong with your build.

Okay, Anet nerfs hammer warriors to death. So what is next? A new meta will pop up and you will complain about that too.
That’s how the game’s meant to work. It will never be balanced, but the meta is supposed to change constantly to keep things interesting.
But it hasn’t, and Warriors are still over-powered.
Them Anet need put an end in Thief, AI and Condition meta.
i d think that if moving to loosing team, all your points could be moved to other team with you.
HS are good only to get adrenaline. The heal itself is weak, and 30s CD do not compensates.
Mending is in the same way. Better use Cleansing Ire or Signet of Stamina than this skill.
Every build without LB, Hammer or Warhorn will be underpowered.
The class became dependent of those weapons.
Others weapons need buffs.

The correct is:
- To loose initiative in start of skill (The thief will loose initiative when canceled).
- If disabled, the weapon skills will enter in CD (disable need affects all classes, without exception)
Thieves skills are insanely powerful. They should never be spamable.
I do not understand:
- Why steal and stealth skill do not use initiative…
- Why chill do not affects initiative regen.
- Why stealth do not have counter.

I smell BS, 32 hits of torment in under 10s, really?
Torment ticks twice per second if the target is moving, and it’s a stackable condition, so it’s very possible.
With those double ticks it still last 16sec. 1 hit = 1s (for torment probably 0.5s) otherwise you would have gotten 44 stacks of torment within 10s, what is impossible.
The fight took atleast 44seconds until the point he got finished. He didnt post the build he used and maybe he stood there afk, who knows. The nekro has full life, so he did something wrong In guess.
But in the end, its not his first post of this kind and he didnt wrote his build, so it shows nothing and he is just trolling.
32 ticks of Torment= minimum 16 seconds in the fight.
16 ticks of Poison = minimum 16 seconds in the fight

Bleed, poison and torment stack in quantity.
Only burn stack in time.

The goal of this tread are put in line this skill, just removing projectile reflection.Again, the stolen skill is not better, mostly because 80% of the thieves in WvW are glass cannon. That means WA is at the full power it would have (or maybe less) than a full glass cannon warrior’s WA. Unless you have a comparison of a full GC warrior’s WA and then a full GC thief’s WA, all you’re proving is that you got killed by a glass cannon thief.
He wasn’t glass cannon, he looks more an rabid thief with P/D. WA was used only to reflect LB arrows, especially pin down.

The problem is that reflect projectile.
Warrior mechanic need buff. I think that other classes can extract more resources from their mechanics.
Warrior could have a burst skill to OH weapon. 2H weapons could have two burst skills.
Other option are transfer actual burst skill to some slot (1 – 5) and change f1 function to allow all weapon skill to scale with adrenaline, then all weapon skill could be a burst skill.
The burst ability allow the warrior to use his adrenaline for increase damage and affect of weapon skills. Toggle ON when press f1 and still enabled until adrenaline ends by use of some weapon skill, or the player press f1 again and toggle OFF.
Have instant cast and no CD (the CD is the CD of respective weapon skill). As animation effect, the warrior could become surrounded by some aura until adrenaline ends of toggle off.
Some examples:
The player press f1, and:
- Press #2 with Mace. The Counterblow will scale with adrenaline have the effect increased to 2s at lv1, 2,5s at lv 2, and 3s at lv 3 (without burst this skill will block for actual 1,5s).
or… - Press #1 with LB and release one extra arrow per adrenaline lv, each extra arrow will have same animation, damage, condition and effect that each individual arrow of Fan of Fire skill (now this skill will be replaced for Combustive Shot).
or… - Press #1 with MH Sword and uses Flurry even in movement (can be canceled for another skill or action. 3 hits at lv1; 6 hits at lv 2; and 9 hits at lv 3).
or… - Press #4 with Sheld and have damage, effect and stun increased.
The class could become more strategic instead actual f1 (or/and possible f2) spam.
Condition damage should be higher POTENTIAL damage given it is a. Over Time and b. Likely to be Cleansed.
For a warrior, condition damage should be far less likely to be cleansed than for other classes. It is your weakness (or should be).

Only works against condition overload. Every player just stop hit when notice.
My suggestion:
1 – Precision also affects conditions. When a condition does critical, lasts 150% of normal time (of course, actual duration of all conditions need be toned down in 33%).
2 – Condition Duration now increase condition duration bonus on critical.
obs: condition need does critical independently of raw attack, then during a Sever Artery an warrior can do crit with both raw damage and bleed, or only raw dmg, or only bleed, or neither one.
The goal are put in line bunker condition spec like necros, engineers and even warriors. also does good balance between power and condition, if some body want do heavy condition damage need spend resources in precision, condition damage and condition duration.

Solution:
1 – Divide trait system in two, the first is status and the second is the traits, them as they level up, the player can spend status points and trait points independently, creating a build at self choice.
2 – Divide status combos into major and minor single status, them all players can buff status at self choice.
3 – AI need less status/damage/sustain and more active skill. The player need control the main damage source of his AI to prevent necros, engineers and rangers to only stay in center of the node spaming auto attack and aoe.
Obs: for obvious reasons some traits and skills could need be balanced or reworked to not become OP or UP

I think that…
- Axe chain need be more faster.
- Axe #4 is useless.
- Axe #5 is weak, thieves does much better with that.
- Axe f1 could have his range scaling with adrenaline level.
- Mace #1 (pulverize) need have faster cast time and animation.
- Mace #3 need do more damage.
- Mace #4 are weak, need buff.
- Mace #5 could be replaced by Skull Crack (actual f1), stunning FOES for 2 seconds.
- Mace f1 could be replaced for Tremor (actual #5), but scaling with adrenaline level knock downing foes for 1, 2 or 3 seconds.
These weapons need buff.
Don’t forget (at the start) that Life Blast
That was 3 life blasts.
8.5k/3 = 2.8k a hit. Warrior axe auto attack chain does more DPS.
Not at 900 range with minions and aoe conditions

I too found that rebinding with a warrior is a must. Personally i use weapon swap on mouse and burst skill on space, because you dont have time for long finger reaches with a warrior, gotta be quick
