I did 4/5 saphire tier with warrior, and i did well.
And still doing well with rifle engi… w/o HoT.Just because you do well does not mean your build is viable. It is a downgrade compared to scrapper.
Not… I m fine against scrapper. I have problem against Elementalist, Renevant and Necro… DH also its ok, except condi spec… Too many burn :/

Warrior still viable… No problem against condi or power, and has high dps, good support and good mobility.
But that berserker… too much fire and burn with every minor action, looks more like elementalist or guardian. personally didn’t liked berserker.
Arms line is better with Sword, LB, Mace and Torch. Hybrid or condi builds…
For GS/Rifle run power + concentration and stances, shouts or physical.
We get +10 heal power for each might stack. Then the heal per shout raises a few.
In my shoutbow says 1810 with 25 might stacks and cele amulet.
My frustration is with war horn that no longer convert conditions in to boons.
Weak to a GM tier. Need be +25% atk spd.
Agree with OP, but could be burn and chill the conditions to affect turrets.
After last nerf on adrenaline, Furious looks the best way to get adrenaline.

For PvE, WvW and PvP is my healthseeker build. Ranger and Hambow killer.

May be better:
- Improve others stealth Attacks.
- Infiltrator strike could be instant cast and blast finisher.
Backstab is fine. Thieves isn’t weak.

I changed to Mesmer, Elementalist, Engineer and now Thief. this 3 classes is more fun to play that warrior.

D/D elementalist is very vulnerable to conditions, even if using Ether Renewal. Every hybrid or condi build can kill him relatively easy.
They said that celestial amulet already had less raw stats, and was bad. Then anet increased more stats to make viable.
Sigil of Battle may be one of best way to some classes get might. i don’t agree with nerf is this sigil.
Signet of Restoration? Good luck against conditions!
Strength Runes? They says that this is the bunker and condi meta, then power build will have problems against bunker builds. If some d/d elementalist without Ether Renewal goes with Batle Sigil + Strength Runes, and fight against for example condi warrior, id think that this elementalist will be forced to disengage or pray for help.
For me strength runes also is fine, because some classes deals good with boons.
Tremor Should be the f1 skill.
Celestial Ele is fine. I already have see their points strong and weak. Some players just need l2p.
The main objective of that skill is create an fire field at target location, this occurs hitting or not a foe. Players will be damaged and burned if enter in that field.
It’s similar to wall of fire that will hit and burn. Also is similar to tricks that will hit or make something with who enter.
Earthshaker is deferent because the main objective is stun foes in targeted area.
The OP is probably using wrongly a condition build to comes here QQ about not only a specific skill of one specific weapon, but the better way of sustain that the class haves (Longbow + Defense line with CI)
The OP just confirm that an warrior without CI is a Warrior dead. To get this trait, the warrior looses important traits that grants dps or even more sustain.
Then the problem isn’t longbow, but cleansing ire.
Combustive Shot will only make more adrenaline if used against AI builds. I d think that this is one way of balance, the same occurs with Earthshaker and flurry.
That skill and projectile are so slow… The foe can just reflect, blinds, destroy, interrupts… All before the projectile hits the ground and triggers the trait.
if they gonna buff Mace 1/2/3 they also reduce the 3 sec stun from F1?
like they nerfed some from Greatsword to buff F1….

Same for GS.. the skills where fine and nobody used F1.. so why does it need some nerfs in damage to buff its F1.. its minor i know but still it doesnt make sense
f1 already have been nerfed, now is near useless due too long cast time and animation.
This skill requires bull’s charge or shield bash to lands.
With incoming buff to GS f1, this skill will become completely useless. Players no longer will needs lock down foes to deals high damage with gs.
Mace #1 (Pulverize) should have 0.5s cast time.
Mace #2 should keep blocking if out of range of counter blow.
Mace #3 Needs do more damage.
The reason because most of warrior uses Bow… Those Burst skills are hard to land.
I agree with improvements to these skills.
ex:
Eviscerate: Needs cleaves. May be also increase range according adrenaline.
Skill Crack: Really needs cleaves, or with some rework, become less hard to lands. This skill misses all time due the range, cast time, animation, lack of gap closer with mace, etc… Tremor still being the best mace’s skill.
Kill Shot: Could have his cast time scaling with adrenaline level (lv1 = 3s; lv2 = 2s; and lv3 = 1s) or stat a toggle ability at use, this toggle stay up while channeling (full channeling lasts 3s, how more channeling more damage). The toggle ability cancels the channeling and releases the shot.
Some thing like those to improve some burst skills.
Personally i don’t like to need go to LA to get access to Bank.
In pve go full berserk.

I can do everything with high efficacy.
Those stats become a bit strong in hybrid and balanced builds.
I d think that could be fair if all amulets have the same amount of stats.
ex:
celestial = 315 + 315 + 315 + 315 + 315 + 315 + 315.
4 stats amulets = 945 + 630 + 315 + 315.
3 stats amulets = 945 + 630 + 630.
Something like this to help with balance.
3 stats amulets = 2208 points.
4 stats amulets = 2340 points.
celestial amulets = 3038 points.
→ Celestial is OP.
Or…
→ Others amulets are UP.
Staff is good with heavy dps builds in group fights, but becomes helpless if focused.
Just:
Tornado: Need be a cantrip skill and work with relative traits.
Glyphs of Elementals: The elementals need have some active skill, like Spirit of Nature and Flash Golem.
Fiery Greatsword: Change animation (flame color, appearance, etc…) and rename to arcane greatsword or something like. Need be an arcane skill and work with relative traits (rename all 5 skills and make work like arcane, the #1 skill, auto attack, only trigger trait in the end of cast)
Turrets should be effected by chill, burning and poison (like acid).
The great problem with turrets is that cannot be affected by conditions, do not forgetting that they (turrets) can be healed.
I’d think also that the elite Supply Crate need have his cd increased to 240 seconds.

That is the right way to plays a thief in tpvp.
For all classes the point is spend resources to improve all team, but retaining the 1 v 1 potential.
- Venom share Thief.
- Sword/Horn Warrior.
- Aura share elementalist.
etc…
Burned effect could appear around stealth character.
The stealth character becomes semi-stealth, showing flames around the body, allowing target and hit.
When the burn ends, the stealth back to original effect. This also allow the stealth player retain the stealth via cleanse.
Ex:
A stealth thief fighting an elementalist becomes burned. Then becomes semi stealth, showing burned effect (flames) around his body. Then after 3 seconds the burn are removed by Shadow’s Embrace trait, and returns to full stealth if the stealth don’t ends yet.
- The burns counter the stealth, and cleansers counters the burn.
- The stealth still viable, but now with a counter play.

but is better change restoration for renewal, and oh dagger for focus.
Keep might stacks, some cleanser and bs to deal with hammer, sword and bow.
your burn, bleed and poison will out heal him.

I main an warrior, but actually i am leveling pvp with elementalist to get magus and champion magus achievement. After i ll switch to thief
For experience i can say that elementalist is more fun to play that warrior.

CI makes burst skills remove conditions, but to works requires hit the foe (CS is the exception), them you can’t remove condition while feared, blinded, and in some cases immobilized.
The class is dead without CI + Combustive Shot. Try run every other build without one of this two end die easy all time :/
The class still weak to conditions.
Warrior:
Strength:
- Build variety with good access to most of weapons, boons, conditions, finishers, cc, bs, some self and group cleansers, some self and group buffing, and some reductions (off damage with endure pain, conditions with berserker stance, and cc with stability).
- Mobility with signet of rage, banners and some movement skills.
- _high armor, health and some regeneration capability.
Weakness:
- Mechanic points to brute and passive game play. Makes the class very strong and appellative in pve and wvw but limited in pvp.
- Conditions not only cancels all regenerative capabilities, but also kills the warrior very fast.
- Single and irremovable target. Without access to AI, teleport, stealth and evades, becomes easy to focus end inflict burst of raw dmg or cond dmg.
Conquest is the best.
Makes the game play more strategic.
Terrible the team works only killing and killing and killing without any other purpose.
Frost Bow: Water > #5 > Lightning flash > #4 > Air
This kill every light armor, 90% of mid armor and most heavi armor. Ignores stun break.
S/D: attune from water to fire > signet earth > #2 > #3 > #5 > Lightning flash > attune to air > #2.
obs: after attune to air, auto attack will start, increasing the amount of dmg.
S/D: attune from water to air > #4 > #5 > attune to fire > #2 > #3 > #4 > attune to earth > #1 > #2 (hurl) > lightning flash.

I really want use this.
- Lightning aura can provide extra control ability to all teammates.
- Frost aura can provide defense to allies and chill foes.
- Fire aura (fire field + magnetic leap) can grants extra might and burn foes.
