Warriors need some drastic changes if the traits are to actually match the stats. As it is now, power has horrible first tier choices. This is POWER we are talking about and it has things like Cure Condition, Heal HP, Reduce Damage….Am I looking at the wrong trait, nope, thats what power gives you, defense.
Revamp the entire line again because it makes no sense. Meanwhile you spec into vitality and it gives you +150 power! Wouldnt ya know!
So 10 trait vit>>150 power…
10 trait into power = 100 power + a heal…

As of now in WvW every warrior is expected to be melee. Kill Shot is niche and requires zerker to be effective which I dont want to do. Longbow is also a joke when you look at the other classes ranged weapons. If you didn’t want Warriors to be ranged why did they give us ranged weapons?!?!?! I have seen many warriors shoot their “F1” Longbow Skill down at me as i am near a gate and it does literally like 300-500 damage and then ends and the auto is soo dodgeable its like it was fired by a weak frail elderly person.
Please buff one of these two weapons so I am able to hang out with my ele friends in the backline and feel like im actually contributing if I want to relax and have fun. Its just wayy too bad to be considered with the other options. Even guardian ranged (staff type weapon) would be a great boost. Make rifle have a skill #2 called “Shotgun Mod” – Adds a shotgun to the rifle, while reducing the range to 600. And then we can do AOE/Big damage without having to be a zerker. It wouldnt be perfect, but better than the options now.
Its not fair how rangers get to be melee or ranged with no consequences. Its not fair eles can be d/d and be amazingly pro or staff and still be just as useful. Not fair thieves are amazing with d/d and then the ranged SB is a core weapon also.
I have had this buff plenty of times where we were still able to take towers/keeps. A Majority of the time you are outnumbered, it means the two enemy zergs are fighting each other while leaving you alone. So while they blob each other down, your small team is free to go ninja stuffs, resulting in alot more WEXP. If you get wiped, oh well because no armor damage. Sure sometimes it means a enemy will focus you and theres no chance but its not ALWAYS.
Id noticed besides garrison (Sorry FA) that most servers arent holding their t3 keeps. JQ was never able to hold through the weak EU/NA and i know they dont usually, but BG… We have had like a few and they all get taken over within under a day. Wheres the defenders? I remember a few weeks ago we had SoR hills wp’d for 3 days. Your saying we cant do it vs these servers?
I think the difference is other teams want to float: FA/JQ/ and not bgbl. It would be fine but pleaase hold hills.If were going to be in JQ/FA BL more often than BG actually it would make sense to wp the keeps over there but cmon im tired of walking.

If we triple WP BG Map this allows us the ultimate freedom in being able to float and inflicts maximum damage and vastly frees up many responsibilities that the float have to deal with, because response time can be drastically reducted when we have all 3 wp’d keeps in bgbl. This alowed us to easily expand our other os withouyt bging totally locked down
If our server mates just took 1 day out to triple WP BGBL, Siege it,, and find small groups to defend it. If its a big omega rush, your screwed no matter what if not, im not sure how you can break into hils and win without golem.
This is the only way to fix WvW. Make it 2v1 now, SoS/FA Vs BG or SoR Vs TC/Maguuma. The 3 way matchup is broken

conditions need nerf whether this idea or something else. reduce condition duration by 33% as a new boon added to alot of skills

Best WvW I’ve had in this game was last night on SoR with Wrex and then Djins commanding, nothing short of epic !

JQ constantly does stuff like they say BG does. Yesterday we put up swords on SoR’s EB Keep, just messing around/clearing siege etc and what does JQ do (They dont know we werent trying to take keep)? What we expect them to do. Attack SM. Ofc we break off, kill them, go back to SoR hunting. So were back, putting swords on tower and what does JQ do? Hits our tower again hoping we are too busy and they can pvdoor. Finally weve had enough with JQ interrupting our fun and caps and just port back and kill them, then push JQ and SoR has enough time to re-take towers, rebuild keep and push us later…
JQ does not know how to 2v1 and im NOT saying JQ had ally with SoR because they were fighting them too, just horrible timing their hits and clueless. Who hits the opposing sides Castle when we have swords on enemy keep? So pointless since if were at a EB keep, we obviously have a nice size blob and it was enough to wipe JQ afterward.
Epic fight with [RATS] fight in BGBL NE tower/Garri. You guys are very scary having all those little asurans show up. I think a graduation should be in order soon.

Why does Defense Vs Guards give (250 vitality) total , but Guard Killer gives (100 power + 100 condi damage = 200 DPS Boost total).
Thats 250 vs 200.
Why the gap in boosts?
I think a great idea for a new trait like this would be Guard Conquering: End Trait : Whenever you kill a guard you gain a temporary boost for 5 minutes that automatically rallys you whenever you are downed for a one time thing. This boost may only be used once every 30 minutes, but can be re-activated every 5 minutes.
The WvW political climate has switched, JQ SEA focuses SoR now because of IRON trolls and other antics from SoR.
JQ and SoR did support one another at this time, but it is gone.

Waha has tried extremely hard to soothe JQer since last match-up, IRON was a huge troll even if there is a so called truce front of ppl. it’s like, mate you call us for help and some of your crew bite our butt, what’s going on, what do you really want?? Our NA bros were being trolled again, again and again; Waha announced ’that’s enough; that’s it. sorry Indo….’ on the 2nd day this match-up.
According to Waha, there is no other better/stronger guilds better than MERC from BG( well, I am guessing he is talking about MERC’s SEA force). They are much stronger than ATM in terms of coverage and size. He mentioned a few times he wont be happy to see if MERC left from BG and he believe the match-up will be too bored. Waha/ATM respect them hard and Waha doesnt give kitten to IRON at all.
Oh by the way, ‘IRON you messed up everything.’- this word isn’t from me, I am just a minion of ATM, I heard it from lots lots and lots other JQers, including Waha ATM.
The amusing part of that statement is most of SEA, ATM and MERC spend most of it avoiding each other.
Our SEA has focused SoR for a total of 2 weeks, please ask BG how many times our SEA was all over them. I am not here to argue but come on now, your judging everything based on 2 weeks.

Thankfully, we have someone from a different server with more knowledge of Blackgate than we do who can keep us up to date.

Yes, build 5 trebs (100 supply each) after breaking into the keep, which also cost you siege supply to break in (Now at 500 supply + roughy 120 supply to break in?) = 620 Just to drain their supply? Sounds like the jokes on you buddy.

Honesly, I cant remember the lsat time TC came and got a BG/SoR keep. This is a big part in ppt as commander need to grow up and learn how to take a t3 garry wihth 5000 AC;’s It can be done. There are select commanders on BG that can do it, and there is 2 guilds on SoR that have vasp expereince in takign t3 Garri keeps.
They might have people but until they l;earn to schout/siege./coordinate how to troll the cirlce they can never fully immigraate into the t1 community as much sa we love them as competitiors.
when people play for the fights, tjeres two types, open field, and kitten chaos trying to take a borderland garry. well if TC Cant take garry, they arent reallty running what the T1 metta’shave learned to due best. JAHA has proved he can many times, stop rating coverage over server gwg knowledge.
as we know theres already lots of + condition duration runes/sigils and even warrior power trait gives condition length increase. there is a few counters but overall the two +/- are balanced now.
i.e. rare veggie pizze vs melandru grass (Fair trade)
NOW COME NEW SIGILS with + condition damage length and new runes with tons of condition damage and length….so wheres the counter balance?!?!?!
this is sooo unfair as just when things seemed to be fair to one another in terms of length, they add this compelte ridiculous OP runes AND Sigils, without giving a counter sigil to condi length.
so end result: Conditions can be longer, stronger than remove with no way other than the preexcisting tools (Which werent even that great) to counter it)
we need either a sigil with less duration, the existing runes needs a buff or change a defensitve trait to reduce condi damage tob alance it out.
Either way, the patch ones completly reworked the system and meta and broke all theplayers hard work in trying to defend vs the overpower necro train conditios. once a medium balance was struck, these blew it out of the water and the defenses we had are no longer sa near effective.
I hope that in the near future we get -condition duration SIGILS in addition to the buffs on the preexisting melandru runes,. How about -40% Condi Duration, -60% Condi Duration if under the effect of 4+ or more conditons or a "sigil of condi length:

Please dont make SoR/BG purposely focus TC’s structures instead of their own just to push them back to t2. Its not the servers job. Its obvious JQ should be in t1, so let them next week please. Agreed, let JQ come back to fight SoR/BG and let TC go back to t2. JQ has proven themselves in t1, most wins, they have taken SoR garry plenty of times, I have yet to see TC do that etc… JQ knows how to take keeps with full map queue’s. Even if they dont have coverage, thats no reason to place them in t2.

By great fights do you mean great double team on BG?
If you want to play small group/solo stuff, I would say engi is better as far as mobility and therefore could probably survive a lot longer. Necro pets are pretty bad outside of taking camps, but wells/plague/corrupt boons/epidemic are pretty fun to play (but are probably more successful in zerg fights).
If you want to follow the zerg, either would do fine. You’ll probably get more loot with necro.
I agree with most of what you said completely except that with grenades, bombs, or flame thrower I’d say an engineer could arguably compete with an necro for collecting bags while zerging if that’s the goal.
This advice is horribly misguided and as a newcomer to WvW the direction is steering you into a trap. Do NOT go for a class based on “How many lootbags can i tag/get”. Go for what is more USEFUL to your team/server. To judge a class on how much loot you can rake is your last concern as this is terribly selfish and honestly, the more you help your server, the better they do, the more bags you get etc… The better you play, the better your teammates do, leads to bags.
Back to the thread. Please go necro with plague form elite, your server mates will appreciate this as necros have a role in WvW. Engineer’s with the current meta do not have any accepted roles. For roamer, idk since I never roam.
No self respecting warrior runs mace/shield or GS. Yea, I have had GS on for mobility, but if I get into combat im useless. If all a warrior can do is escape, but be useless in combat since they aren’t using a hammer, idk how that’s considered OP. And what “Block” are you talking about? Shield? LOLOL no one uses shield, if you cant beat a shield warrior its defiantly l2p.
Do you go out of your way to punish bad players in WvW?
When you see these things do you tend to focus the player to make them learn?:
1. Full Signet Thief/Warrior
2. Lich Form On Necro
3. Uplevled Ranger/Engi
4. Stumbling across a roamer doing PvE
5. Scepter Wielding Guardian
6. Level 30 or below food (I.E. Increase burning duration 5% food) Oils 3/1% Boost.
I tend to focus a few of these types of players, but normally running with commander and sticking close to group so I cant even though I want to kill all of the above.
Agreed, there are tiers, look at leaderboards, it says Jade Quarry Tier – 2. I support the poster, JQ Is definatly t1 server, look at the total wins and I think the next match of T1 BETTER BE JQ/SoR/BG.
People wouldn’t have to scout anymore with the highest t3-4 upgrade to a keep, Camera System. Asura’s build a camera system that alerts in map chat how many people just tapped (contested) your keep. A second message 30 seconds later would update the number and tell you if there is siege down and what the gate is at. This ultimate defence would cost not only gold, but badges of honor (150)

no one runs corrupt boons in organized guilds
if your dumb enough to sit in a necro well or not dodge out of it, you deserve to be boon stripped. i.e. only bad’s will get their boons stripped, not pro’s.
You go around blasting puddles outside when it rains and tell others to heal you by blasting the water fields

Spam #1 Key (Perferrably on melee)
Heal by using food/sigils (<<<<<Big part)
Use your dodge’s
If your main heal/skill dont work, dont spam them, wait a few seconds, try again. Eventually it will work, dont get mad when it doesnt and follow above advice.
Why take away game functionality that is working as intended? You don’t even explain what the problem is with the status quo? No reason to change. You didn’t even do your research as aboevc posters explained there is a siege cap already
These people are not fully reading your post. Blackgate is the only true answer. Do not listen to their propaganda. If you read the recruitment forums, ALL those serveres mentioned above have SIGNIFICANT coverage lapses and have significant organization problems. Jade Quarry is far from 24/7 coverage. You will be left with no one to play with in outmanned maps during several hours. SoR admits having population issues during SEA and during EU good luck finding a group that’s actually tagged up unless your in a guild.
Blackgate is the only server with 24/7 coverage, that accepts pugs, doesn’t tell you to get on TS or run X build that I can honestly say you wll be happy no matter what time you get on to play. Also the other servers suffer from ~100 PPT at times, or even ~150 ppt, which makes things not fun. Do you really want to only own your garrison in borderlan and EB and nothing else having serveres trample over you?
Fun WvW with coverage = tier 1, which exludes many. SoR is decent but admittly themselves lacks coverage. BG is the only server that fits your criteria.
Fun wise, I have never played on it, but TC seems to be the most relaxed, chill, “type in map chat happy”. fun server but still suffers coverage issues . i.e. outmanned

I find this completely unfair and ridiculous. If they do this, what about the World Bosses that are TOTALLY IMMUNE to crit damage. Were not talking a cap here, as 25 people can crit, and the rest cant. We are talking EVERY SINGLE CRIT HIT Is not registerered. Be thankful the cap is 25, because not all of us can utialize our builds. Also for the objects immune to condition damage, are , yet again, wait for it IMMUNE TO CRIT DAMAGE ENTIRELY. For builds based on precision, condi damage, toughness, these are a nightmare. at least condi damage can hit most things and does something, while crit damage is laid in the dirt, forgotten.
In short hand, just beause condi damage players like to complain, if they want to be fair, crit damage needs a huge buff first. then address condi

Yes open them. How are TC/BG supposed to be competitive in wvw if the servers are full and they are losing because of high PVE population? Makes no sense to deny people the experience they want.
If they give Ballista’s the option to hurt gates, why not make it reasonable? This siege object needs a buff as its not used as often as most. Make it do better damage to a gate or put it under Ballista Mastery (+X% damage increase to gates)
(Yes, I realize it has uses, and its good, but in comparision to AC’s/Treb’s etc, its not used as often is what I am saying)

Engies have the wrench from their tool kit that’s actually quite effective.
It’s effective on single targets. The last hit on #1 is still single-target, and it’s the most damaging hit. #3 is single-target, and #5 is also single-target. Not only this, but that requires Engineers sacrificing a Utility slot in order to have access to melee capabilities, whereas having a weapon for it would let them use all 3 slots.
Necros have no melee that cleaves.

Does every FEAR commander build an AC every 10 steps while pushing into towers/keeps with map zergs? I know you have “special” arrow cart users with “special” abilities, but dang.

The accusations in this thread are geting out of control, especially when certain guilds are getting named. All guilds have released statements, they should not have to check forums to continually defend or release more statements.
